First time visiting and certainly won’t be our last. Fantastic breakfast menu, each dish incredibly well done. We had the breakfast special (Cajun hash), biscuits and gravy, vegetable bowl, and an order of the Mabel cakes for a table starter. Highly recommend all!

Super tasty and delicious, freshly made and with healthy ingredients! I Definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys staying healthy and being nourished by meal! Try mocktail with ACV! Better than soda, IMO. Check their opening hours before going. Better to call for reservations (for parties of 5 &up) to make sure there's enough sitting. It's quite lovely and if you never try anything made from yak (from socks to burger) here's your chance! I'll be enjoying my warm, yak wool socks and thinking of this Cafe. History buffs will find it charming, acquire about this old building historic back story from your server /chef.

It's such a fun place in the center of welch. Just across from welch tubing, just a stones throw from the cannon valley trail or welch village skiing. It is a great breakfast/brunch spot. I HIGHLY recommend making a reservation because it has limited seating and fills up fast, but they do take walk ins if seating is available. You can call or message them on Instagram or Facebook. They have a great menu and new specials daily. Inside and outside seating. Also, recommend ordering a sweet item of the menu for sharing prior to or after your meal. They are all so good! Mabel cakes are amazing.

Amazing food, amazing service and a great location in a small scenic village. We frequent this establishment and are impressed every time we go there.

Great breakfast and staff. Very small so they're ALWAYS busy, but super attentive. The food comes fast, hot, and delicious every time! New patio. Good place for everyone from car enthusiasts to bicyclists.

One of my favorite restaurants in Minnesota! We routinely drive 45 mins just to get breakfast or lunch here. Fantastic quality ingredients and creative recipes.

This is the kind of food you get dressed up for but don’t. The menu is Chef-driven, local and the staff is fantastic. Lovely treasure in a small town with surprisingly reasonable prices for the sophistication of the food. Check for hours and it’s reservations only, but super easy to arrange.

Cutest place inside the old Welch Bank! Food was amazing and decent price for such a unique dining experience! Make sure you make a reservation as it is tiny and never had openings!

I don't often give 5 stars in resteraunt reviews, but this was delicious food in a great setting with a fun attentive server. Well worth the money. As an aside Goodhue county rd 7 is a great road for a motorcycle ride. Lots of twisty bits and great scenery if you aren't on a sport bike tripling the speed limit.

If you haven't been here, GO!! Literally, everything was delicious. Staff is super friendly, atmosphere is great. And do yourself a favor, get the seven layer bar.

Last week my wife and I took a trip to Welch to check out the Bleu Dog. Were were not disappointed. The service was excellent. The food even better. The Italian Hash was exceptional. Great experience.

Really the best place in the area for breakfast. Everything is good there.

I had the fried rice for brunch, and it was yummy! The menu item had some classics and some unique items. The restaurant is small but cozy and cute.

Always good. Often with amazing options. Went for Sunday breakfast. Made reservations beforehand. Make the effort to get there.

Sweet & savory diamond in the rough. Everything was amazing, and not a generalization. From the pretzel with cheese sauce, brioche French toast, breakfast fried rice, and lemon stuffed French toast. It’s worth the trip off the beaten path (or, of course, after a day of skiing/snowboarding @ Welch).

Great food. My wife got the lemon stuffed French toast and it was amazing. I got the Bleu Dog Burger and it was the best burger I have ever had. We also got a side of the breakfast potatoes and cheese samurai potatoes and they were delicious. The service was fantastic. Make sure you make a reservation before you go.

For years, our family has been coming from Minneapolis down to Bleu Dog. We have a family friend who lives in Welch and have been familiar with the area for years. For birthdays and special occasions, we always make a trip down for their amazing breakfast/ brunch. The food is absolutely spectacular and delicious, fresh and full of flavor. They use fresh ingredients from l9cal farmers in the area, and always have an interesting and delicious dish for their Market Special! Yummy coffee that you want to just keep drinking and savoring with every sip. The staff are like family, and treat you as if you were theirs. Always friendly and fun. The atmosphere is cute, cozy and quaint and occupies an old 19th century bank, in which the bathroom is located inside the old brick vault! They do get busy, so it's great you can now make reservations on Open Table. We hope Bleu Dog never goes out of business. Definitely worth the trip to Welch Village for this wonderful gem of a place.
