Above and beyond today! My mom picked up a coffee today for me and brought it back but it wasn’t what I wanted. I went back to see if they could remake it and the barista was so kind and said absolutely. ❤️ She even gave me a coupon for my next visit. Thank you so much! My iced caramel latte with cold foam was spectacular!

Really cute cafe! Would recommend the Kaladi latte. No seating, drive through only. You can walk up to the window!

My first time being here and I am hooked😅 both ladies that helped me were so gentle and kind. I searched on google for “best London fog near me” for my pregnant sister and they sure did show out! I also ordered their coconut white coffee (I believe it’s called) and man, am I happy with all the flavors. I can taste each one on the description almost! Thank you Aftershock! I’m definitely recommending this place to everyone I know.

I have been visiting After Shock for several years now. I believe when you pay for your coffee, you’re paying for your experience as well. And let me tell you, if you want the best coffee served by the most amazing people come here. The owner Rosie and all the staff are kind and always smiling, these are the kind of humans that can make anyone’s day brighter 😊

A must get when in Anchorage … the delicious Golden Milk!

Had the Aftershock Special. It was delicious and the perfect temperature to drink right away - not scalding hot but not lukewarm. Staff were also friendly and had great recommendations. Unfortunately we couldn't sit inside but we enjoyed the drive thru atmosphere.

Absolutely love this coffee shop. The prices are fair and the coffee is delicious. On top of that they have friendly staff! I especially love that they do Malasada doughnut Fridays! I recommend this place to everyone.

The inside is not open for seating (take away and drive through only), but the amazing service from the owner and her staff, delicious coffee, and cool decorations more than make up for it. They make a “sludge” drink which is drip coffee topped with espresso. Highly recommended!

I can’t recommend this place enough!!! Rosie always trains her baristas so well, they’re all so incredibly kind. Also, definitely get the over the rainbow lotus, soooo good. The pastry’s are top notch and the coffee is even better 😙🤌🏼

These girls are the awesome! They always make the best coffees which save me getting through long night shifts. This also happens to be my dog’s favorite place to go to, as they love to spoil him with kind words and treats.

I get a drink several times a week, and after years of trying out a variety of shops, this is my preferred coffee shop. Lately, my (healthier) drink of choice is a lemonade lotus. Sometimes, I'll add a splash of pomegranate.

Staff was friendly enough, but we went in for some breakfast sandwiches and they charged us $5 for a Jimmy Dean sandwich. They don’t make/prep their own.

My wife and I visited this place while we were on our honeymoon and the staff made us feel so welcome. We were a little nervous that Alaska may give us some trouble since we are an lgbtq couple, but we couldn’t have felt more celebrated. Our fears were completely unfounded. Alaska and the staff at aftershock were wonderful. Also the coffee is amazing! Come here for a quick wait time, quality coffee, the friendliest faces in anchorage.

Good drinks but the cold drinks containers are trash. You'll be wiping the mess from your car. Seems one of the newer ladies knew and finally put an extra cup underneath. Trhing to scimp on the cost at the customer's expense.

Good morning Anchorage and hello great coffee. Like many I've spoken with, Anchorage was a quick layover spot for me and my wife as we waited on the next flight for the final leg of our trip into the bush of Alaska. Fortunately, we both woke up in plenty of time to scout the area and coffee was top of mind. We did not have a car so we were looking pretty close and found a couple of spots but Aftershock seemed to be the most appealing so we bundled up and make the hike. Much to our disappointment when we arrived their seating area was closed and the only way to get coffee was through the drive thru. I didn't see this posted anywhere other than the front door. They don't have a web site so the only information is through social media which didn't have it listed there either that I noticed. Regardless, we waited in the drive thru line, standing...in the cold... Once we got to the window to order things came together nicely and the wait was soon forgotten. We ordered a couple of hot drinks (golden milk and chai) as well as a cold brew. I like cold brew year round however, I wanted to try the golden milk and needed something to warm me up. The golden milk did the trick. All drinks were great and quickly made. I'm glad we made the choice and muscled through the drive thru line.

This was our favorite coffee place we visited in Anchorage. The staff were super helpful and accommodating with my wife's super picky beverage preferences.

This coffee was really delicious and the staff was friendly. I got a cold brew with Carmel, pumpkin, and oat milk. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND trying that!

Ermagerd! What a delight! I've never just walked through a drive thru before, but I was welcomed to (the lobby was closed by my evening visit), and I'm very glad, because this was a fantastic experience. Friendly and helpful guidance from the staff led me to settle on a London Fog - but not just any London Fog, for this one was made with lavender as well as vanilla; I went all out and had it brewed with Half & Half* instead of whole milk. An magnificent blend of flavor: not too rich, just simply siptastic. Perfect for a midsummer's eve. (*Darigold dairy products are amazing - I'm not from the PNW, so getting Darigold is a real treat each time I visit. It's sort of like crashing a Wawa when you're in the mid-Atlantic, except a bit more specific. Suffice it to say, it only made this beverage even better.) My only complaint is that it took me two days of my short stay to stumble across this. Talk about missed opportunities! There's nothing like a good local coffee joint with happy and artful baristas. Cheers! :D

Delicious drinks and very very friendly staff !! I love coming here. The environment is friendly and there decently fast with getting your order out to you! I try to Tip at least 5 dollars everytime I go in. If your in anchorage definitely stop by here. They have literally every Syrup flavor imaginable!!! Red velvet Latte? Heck yea. 🤤 Irish cream, yes. 🤤 Peanut butter, chocolate, Sour Gummy, Watermelon, White Peach, Rose!! Everything. And there all Delicious. 🥰❤🤤🤤

Usually staff and coffee are wonderful but I got a $7 cold burrito on 1/9/22.... really it was $9 because of the $2 tip. The outside was burning hot but the inside was still frozen. The barista agreed to a credit and I went the following Sunday (on my day off), not a big deal right?? When I arrived they said the owner would have to call me. I ended up paying $6 on 1/16/22 for a 12oz lukewarm coffee. The owner never called me back for a credit. So not going there again, I bought an organic burrito for $3.99 and heated it up correctly this morning.

Absolutely perfect coffee!!! The baristas were super sweet, patient, and aimed to please! They had us taste the coffee prior to leaving the drive-thru to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. Also, we had never had malasadas before and those were heavenly!!! Thank you so much for the kindness and hospitality! Hope to come back here whenever we're in town again!!!

We didn't start visiting local coffee huts until after the pandemic began. Our preference was always for sitting in a local coffee shop. But once in-store dining vanished, we had to explore Anchorage's unique drive-thru coffee scene. After sampling widely, it's clear that Aftershock Espresso is the ruler of them all. Why? Lots of reasons! Service is amazing. The baristas are always friendly and helpful with new flavor suggestions. Option are so wide! Aftershock does more than just coffee and Italian soda. They having stunning sparkling lemonades and comforting golden milk. They do keto and vegan and whatever stuff you're into. Their cinnamon rolls are perfect AND they also have Hawaiian donuts!!! Plus, they do offer dine-in seating . . . eventually. Can't wait for this stupid pandemic to blow over.

I've been going here since before it was even Aftershock Espresso. The customer service is always amazing! I love everyone there and my sister worked there for a time. The coffee is damn near always perfect and the prices are awesome. Definitely a place to go when you're on Minnesota.

The owner deeply cares about her employees and it shows! All the girls are just the sweetest there and make the yummiest combinations!

They are always so nice and if they mess up they dont take it out on the customer. They rarely make a mistake though. That's pretty nice too

Hands down the reason we moved to Anchorage! Okay, maybe not the reason but this coffee is that good. If you love flavored coffees, the Aftershock Special is our go-to. You get the same great flavor hot or cold so we don't have to switch between a winter and summer drink here. The girls are amazing and always put you in a better mood when you talk to them! Great way to start and end the day.

what an adorable cafe! i'm visiting anchorage for the week from portland, oregon and was on the hunt for a space to relax with some good coffee and work on my novel. my search is over! this is absolutely the perfect spot. cozy, lively, and with a very friendly owner/staff, you really can't go wrong here. if you're in a hurry they have a drive thru, but i do recommend stopping in if you can! the decor has a charming shabby chic vibe, and there are tons of plants in the many windows. oh, and the coffee is lovely. feels like home 💗

Handy location and sweet interior (except for the traffic noise from Minnesota) but the coffee is just "ok." Since they care the same price as other premium coffee shops, I expect a good shot with crema and less bitterness.
