We went to see a movie which started at 2;30 pm. White there we each had a meal which was 50$ for the 2 of us. Hard to eat in the dark but the food and service were good.

Love going to this theater but just saw Deadpool and the AC was broken in the theater we were in. No warning about this and no apology just an oh well attitude about it.

Love the Alamo. This place got my family back into going to the theater. Best experience in town.

Maybe you should consider using a QR code POS system… dozens of waiters tonight and the worst service I’ve ever seen, maybe it’s time for a new system and a new model.

Went here to see the new Wolverine and Deadpool movie-the screening was wonderful, the staff was fast and accurate. The food was probably about a 8/10 so definitely worth it!

The movie sound was good but the service and food was terrible. I ordered a Margherita pizza and it had huge Cloves of garlic on it. The garlic was raw the sauce was bland. No one came back to ask if we wanted refills on our sodas. My friend didn’t get her food till the end of the movie nor did I for replacement food. That still was terrible but I paid for it cause they bothered to make it. We waited almost ten minutes for someone to come back with our debit cards. I should not have had too pay for that pizza. 28 dollars later for a soda, gummy bears, and terrible pizza I would not recommend Alamo for a movie experience. It use to be a decent place pre covid not now.

The best movie theatre! When there's a movie we have to see - it's worth the 4 hour drive to go to the Alamo. I don't even mind sitting in a crowded theatre because there's plenty of room and they have a strict policy on interruptions.

I love having food and drinks,(alcoholic), served to me during a movie!! Since you can watch almost new movies as soon as they're released, this type of theater makes the only sense to going out to see a movie, vs watching one on your own TV!!

My go to theatre, it has changed how I watch movies and made going to the theatre fun again. Highly recommend the monthly membership if you like to watch movies!

West Omaha treated this theater like dirt and now it's dirty, wow total surprise there. Such a disappointment. They moved out my side of town and then FINALLY make season pass available? Not to mention- Smells like Chuck-e-cheese up in there. Smells like a trampoline park up in there. Smells like kids pooping their pants up in there. The seats are well worn and hurt my backside. There's a 27% chance your menu reading light isn't there. Regardless of the space between the rows people are always bumping into your headrest, unable to navigate in the dark. The domestic draft beer cost more than a normal bar for some reason. Classless West Omaha ruins another good thing. 5/10

Love the food and the seats. Very comfortable, and nice lighting. Avoid having too much clarified butter popcorn- Its taste is a trap and your stomach's ultimate downfall.

Recently went for the JAWS movie party (July 3rd) and had so much fun! I always tell all of my friends to see a movie there when they go to Omaha (I live 2.5 hours away)

Sold us a ticket with no margin to get in in time to be served, very rude manager and customer service in general. They definitely proved they don’t care about customer experience. Servers are sweet but lazy and incompetent management.

If you are enticed to come here because of the no talking policy, don't get your hopes up. I went to a 10:00 screening tonight and there were two groups of people talking the entire time. I notified a server about 10 minutes into the film but the problem was not addressed. I stayed behind to talk to a manager, Kim, who was very kind about getting me a refund for my ticket but I was still left disappointed that I did not get the movie going experience I was advertised.

I usually enjoy the Alamo but tonight wasn’t awesome. I specifically come here for their no tolerance policy, but there was someone with a phone out consistently through the movie, ruining my experience of it. I wasn’t able to make a complaint because the staff seemed to be done for the showing? With 45+ mins left the only person I saw was giving me my bill at the end. Kind of disappointing to come specifically for quality of experience and not getting it.

This was my first time at the Alamo Drafthouse and it was such a fun time. The servers were attentive, the popcorn and drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was inviting. What surprised me the most was how polite the fellow movie-goers were. Too many times I've been to a theater and the crowd would talk through the whole movie, but this crowd was very respectful so you know this place attracts a good crowd. A very great spot to go see a movie.

Part of a dying breed, the Alamo Drafthouse sets itself apart from modern movie theaters by serving alcohol and food while letting you enjoy your movie at the same time. Overall, my experience was pleasant and I would go back if I felt the need to do food and a movie at the same time. Granted the food quality is decent for bar food but not necessarily anything to write home about. However, I would like to note that obviously I wasn't expecting too much and nor should you from the food. Overall the customer service was great and I could definitely see myself going back.

Great menu options in a comfortable theater with a variety of seat types. Spacious seating, not too crowded. Great selection of current films, but also, they have really cool screenings of older films and cult classics.

The rocks fruit absolutely sucks and is by far the most downfall of the whole entire place. The popcorn is good, but I do not recommend anything else. Everything else is a waste of your money in time. Poor service poor execution of food in the food is over priced for, the cold minuscule plates that come out. For the price we paid we could’ve gotten so much more food with a better value and substance at any place around town for takeout. Do not order from the restaurant. It is pathetic, overpriced and completely executed. Such a disappointment. Nachos tasted like it was canned cheese sauce. Phillys had no meat barely or cheese at all. It was all bread and took an hour to get on a weekday night. My kids pizza was burnt. Like 😳 YUCK! Do not order food from here! Go eat before coming!!! Popcorn is the only good snack!

It was pretty empty in the theater but there was still a delay to be waited on. The server didn't return until end of the movie and we were needing refills.

Amazing cookies, absolutely bogus refund policy. Had car trouble on the way to the theater, but couldn't get a refund or exchange because it was within 1 hour prior to the showtime. More money down the drain. We were not offered a rain check, but we would happily take one.

Everything always goes very smoothly here. Love the option to grab dinner while watching a movie. The servers always do a good job as well with making it as low key as possible while they are taking second orders and doing last call. I always mix this theater up with ones that have the reclining seats…., but maybe one day!

It's really nice to have a theater require the audience to be quiet during a film. The table service was attentive, and we used our gift cards without any issue-- just gave them to the server and she took care of it. This was one of the best experiences I've had at a movie theater.

Great pre-show videos, great previews, great food and local beers. Other Alamos in other cities have recliners, though, only reason not to give five stars. A very negative experience I had recently in another, competitor, theater was them showing commercials. I didn't commercials for products before the movie and between previews was even a thing! I didn't pay to watch TV-style commercials. So, I won't see movies in any theater but Alamo now! Thank you Alamo for an always great experience.

This is the best movie going experience in the area by far. If you love movies, you will love this theater. The preshow is very fun. I love all of their food items, and their bottomless popcorn is well worth the price. I absolutely love their 10pm Friday night horror movies! And the movie parties are super fun. I sadly docked one star bc of the drinks. For the love of God whoever is mixing your cocktails PLEASE send them to bartending school. Drinks are wildly inconsistent...either so sour it tastes like acid or so disgustingly sweet it's undrinkable.

Thought I would try this theater for the first time. Went online and they did not offer senior tickets so I called the theater and they told me you have to come in to buy your tickets when you get the senior discount which was fine, although I was worried there might not be any seats left. I got to my seat about five minutes before the lights went down for the trailers. Waiters and waitresses were running around the theater but didn’t get to me before the movie started. I continue to wait and finally wanted to get some soda and popcorn so I got up And went out to the hallway and discovered there is no self-serve concession stand so I poked my head in the kitchen and asked how to get popcorn and they told me they would send someone back into the theater to take my order. Someone did bring my drink and about 10 minutes later my popcorn arrived. Then after about an hour and a half I wanted to get a refill on my drink and no one had come in to check in with me so I went ahead and got up and went back down to the kitchen to ask if you got free refills on your soda and he said I did and he was able to take my drink and refill it for me so I went back into the theater with my refilled drink. Then someone came around with the bill and I didn’t know if she expected me to fill it out and sign it right then and there while it was pitch black in the theater and I was trying to follow the storyline so I just gave her a credit card and she took it away and then brought it back later. I was able to sign the receipt but I certainly wasn’t going to leave any kind of tip since I had to make two trips back to the kitchen to get my popcorn and pop. I think they should offer a self-serve concession stand like they did the one time I went to a similar theater in Fort Worth Texas. The seats were also uncomfortable for a two hour and 45 minute movie and it was very hot in there. Probably will never go back to this theater and stick with ACX.

I came in on March 8th to watch Kung Fu Panda 4 with a few friends of mine, and we all had a great experience! The exterior and interior of the building was clean, well designed, and well maintained, the service was excellent, the seats in the theater were comfortable, and the sound and visual quality of the screening was impressive. The only "downside" to our visit was the food. It wasn't bad, per say, but nothing fantastic. I ordered a cheese burger with veggies, a side of fries, and a portion of a pickle, which came out to be $16 to $18 (can't remember what the exact price was). The burger was quite delicious, especially with having one of the best bread buns I've ever seen, but the fries were mediocre at best. The quickly went cold after five minutes and felt unsatisfying due to their thin sizes and old texture. When we later ordered pizza while watching the movie, one of the pizzas tasted funny, and it contained either pepperoni or ham. I suspect they used old meat in that one which gave off this sour or "vinegary" aftertaste at the roof of my mouth. All the pizzas were also very greasy, but the popcorn was great. I am likely to come back again, but if there's one thing I would recommend the management to do, it is to improve on the quality of the ingredients and develop better recipes.

Has been great every time we've gone, the theaters have comfortable seats and great sound. The food is good and so we're the beers. Definitely our favorite movie theater.

When I really want to enjoy myself. I can count on the Alamo to deliver. Never had an issue with the theater or the food services they provided. It's in a convenient location right by the interstate. You can show up early and get a drink in their bar area or just go to the bar for drinks and food. If you have a Costco membership. You can get a $100 gift card to the Alamo for $75. Such a great deal that can't be beat!!!

This theatre builds communities, has 5$ admission on Tuesdays, comfortable seating, table service, restaurant menu. It feels like luxury in a place the genuinely cultivates the film fan culture. So fun!

Best movie experiences I have ever had! The theaters are always clean and the staff are always incredibly kind and friendly. I have only run into an issue with a food order once and that was when they had just reopened from the pandemic; they were genuinely apologetic to everyone and did what they could to make things right. I judge all other theaters by Alamo standards now! Can't beat the experience anywhere.

Alamo is my favorite theater to go to. It’s a nice setup with a nice atmosphere.

The seats in this theater are very comfortable. They do not recline, however. There is a small table at your seat for food, and a dim light under the table so you can read the menu. The servers are friendly and very helpful. If they are serving someone close by, they will duck when moving in front of you, so you aren't disturbed when watching the movie. The seats are positioned high enough from the person in front of you so you will have a full screen view. I love this place. It is a bit of a splurge to go to a movie and order food, but their menu items are so yummy. I won't pass up the opportunity for a nice relaxing movie and dinner here.

Great sound system, but the food could use a little work. One burger took longer to deliver, but that I can forgive - some take longer to prep, sure. The other, a cheeseburger, showing up without cheese and with the outer inch all around reduced to charcoal was pretty hard to stomach. And the last thing I want to do in the middle of the movie is have to deal with that, taking me away from the movie I came to watch. I may return for occasional events, but I certainly wouldn't count on the food.

FINALLY went back to the movies after the pandemic ... a couple of days before Christmas, having landed from a biz trip, and took the family. I missed you Alamo Draft House! Not commenting on the movie ... it was good. Commenting on the theatre and the dinner.... The theater is AWESOME, and even though the reclining leather seats and pre-selected seats are now pretty standard in the industry, these were comfortable! Now the dinner. We arrived 30 minutes early, because I hate eating in the pitch dark. We ordered 4 meals. 3 arrived pretty quickly. (as luck would have it, they somehow skipped mine). We waited about 10 minutes, and flipped the card up to attract the attention of a waiter, and- eventually re-placed the order. Again, it never came. Flipped the card again, now 45 minutes into the movie, and ordered it AGAIN. Finally, it came! Tasty and hot -- a great bacon cheeseburger, crispy fries, and 2 crispy pickles. In fact, all 4 of our meals tasted great, no complaints. So the question you may be asking: Did Alamo take care of us after the problem? Answer: Yes, and more than we would have expected them to. We don't know why my order went into a black hole not once, but twice ... but they did take care of us. AND, we did not go 'Karen' or 'Kevin' on them ... A Note: (I've worked with the public and going 'Full Metal Karen' (some of you dear readers will get the movie reference) is never the way. Trust me. Because in return, I will go 'Full Metal Corporate Policy' faster than you can say 'I want your Supervisor'. You may win, eventually, but I'm going to use policy to raise your blood pressure about 100 points right now and hope to be around to see the stroke happen so I can record and boost my ratings on Instagram). The Alamo staff was great, and YES we will be going back. 100%. What a great place to see a movie!

$32 for 5 "bottomless" sodas where my kids never got a refill. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Attended a movie watch party tonight unfortunately our experience was not nearly as good as ones in the past. The bathroom was completely trashed. No toilet paper or paper towels. Then the toilet didn't even flush. We ordered popcorn with NO butter twice and recieved buttered popcorn twice. The waitstaff spilled a drink on my son and didn't offer much less bring us any napkins to clean up the mess. My son's cheese sticks seemed to be missing half the order as there were only 5 and to top that off they were cold and firm in the middle. This was not the experience we were expecting for the 100.00 price after tickets and food especially for two people.

Great food! The food service really adds to the movie experience. The only downside is that the seats don't recline, but that makes sense because it would make the food service more difficult.

Edit: Hate to do it but I have to lower my rating. My last movie started at 7:15, I put up an order card at 7. No one came to check my ticket or anything. I waited until 8 for someone to come take my order. I finally just walked out. This isn’t the first of such issues recently but the most egregious. Might be time to just set up that theater room in the basement. Still my favorite theater experience. They're running with a skeleton crew currently but that's the modus operandi pretty much everywhere right now, can't hold that against them. The staff they do have are friendly and attentive, that's all I can ask for.

Pizza was great, great place to watch a movie. Fun to write down "fetch me a drink" on a piece of paper during the movie.

We always go here to see movies, it feels like more of an event. They show many older movies that don't get screentime elsewhere,, and we're particularly fond of going to their screenings of Ghibli movies. The food is great(although pricey) and the staff are friendly and attentive.

MOVIE PARTIES ARE THE BEST I love the movie parties at the Alamo. It is a different experience that the Alamo provides to its customers besides having a table for you to order food and eat while watching a movie. Classic and favorite movies from all time are played. They provide fun and interactive props, theme drinks, and more. I missed the Polar Express movie party, I wanted a golden ticket!! The following picture is from the Hocus Pocus costume movie party. My husband and I just wore makeup. 😉 I recommend these movie parties to all people. Family movies are played. Make sure to purchase your tickets in advance. There are still a few tickets for The Elf Movie Party to celebrate Christmas with family and friends. *If you're planning on ordering food, make sure to get there early for them to get your food ready before the movie starts. Remember there will be more people ordering food, too.

Waited an hour for chicken fingers. Never received the popcorn I ordered. The staff run back and forth in front of you the entire movie. Do yourself a favor and go to a regular theater with a concession stand. I won't go here again.

Loved the movie,but hated how my friend was treated after she paid for her food with her debit card. And it was never returned. When she asked about it, the server Libby said she swiped it and then returned it. When we confronted the manager Brandon, all he could say was she returned it and have a nice evening. Lovely customer service....NOT! That wasy first and last time there. WARNING!!!! If you dare go there, you better pay in cash. Or you might be cancelling your card.☹️

The movie experience here warms my heart and soul. Efficient tickets, great table service and food, awesome theatres and rules to enjoy the show. My only regret is not living closer so I could go more often! :D

First time here. I took my daughter and grandson. Weird luxury theater going experience. You can get an entire meal delivered to your chair. We just got popcorn and sodas. The popcorn was amazing, we were sad we couldn't take the leftovers with us as they serve it in metal bowls. Honestly, is rather go to a country to get my snacks and avoid pressured tipping off a server I didn't ask for. This would be a great date night venue though.

Clean - great service - good food

Went for dinner and a double feature. Nothing wrong with the movies, but our dinners kept getting messed up. A particular burger with no cheese or mayo, add mustard... Not a difficult instruction, yet we went through 3 burgers before it was "close enough" and gave up trying to get it fixed. Service was slow and inconsistent as well.

Always amazing food and such great service.

Best before movie entertainment with the classic show clips and classic advertisements related to the movie. Only place that still reminds people to shut off their phones. Only theater where I don't see people on their phones the whole movie. Great place to finally see old movies on the big screen. Could do without the modern movie trailers.

Great food & Tuesday discounts!

Wow! We used to seriously love this place. Our family would come here for movies, milkshakes and great food and service. This experience was overwhelmingly bad. The service was more of an IHOP service. The food was so bad and very expensive for the portions and terrible food they were serving. It was dead when we got there which is used to be super rare. They have TVs with sports but no sports package so we couldn't watch the game we went there to watch. The food was expensive but I don't mind paying for a good meal. The food was so bad though. The fish and chips was a small portion and was so greasy it just dripped and dripped with oil. The chicken tenders would have been great but they were very burnt. They forgot our sauces and sides. The Brussel sprout slaw was absolutely horrendous. We didn't get refills. We also tried a special they had going that sounded delicious. The portion was about 5 bites and it was filled with meat fat and had no flavor!!! We were so not pleased. The shake machine was down and that's usually the best part for them. We will never be back to this place.

Great place to watch a movie especially if you want food and drinks. I’m not just talking about pop either. At the Alamo you can get beer. Mixed drinks shakes a whole bunch of other delicious cocktails. The food menu is pretty solid as well. If you haven’t been it’s nice because they have small tables for you to eat at. Did you were very good job of making sure The servers don’t get in the way of the movie experience.

Alamo Drafthouse in La Vista was my wife’s favorite location. Lately, however we have noticed since they returned from Covid that the service is not up to par. I understand, a lot establishments suffer from a lack of help now, but the incident we had last night with their staff wasn’t due to a lack of service. We decided to go to the last showing of Barbie last night and the movie was possibly 15 minutes at most in and right after a server had told my wife that they couldn’t fulfill a portion of her order, a manager came and told my wife that she had been turned in by one of only two other patrons besides ourselves for conversing too loudly. Now for starters, the Barbie movie opening is so loud that there is no way possible that anyone could hear another human being more than 6 feet away. What makes this even more laughable is that my wife is a very shy and quiet person. I didn’t hear what the manager said to her since I thought he was a server talking with her about her order, but I could tell once he left that she was horrified and on the verge of tears. Needless to say, I was incensed and demanded to see him and I gave him a nice piece of my mind. He apologized, not very sincerely, and gave us vouchers. We left and won’t be going back although I did call back and get another manager, I was attempting to talk with the general manager , but was told that he was available Monday through Friday but that he was a busy man and may not have time to talk with us. Rude and condescending is a not good look for employees Alamo. My wife and I rarely have a chance to go out with 3 kids and one on the way. So, thanks for ruining the evening Alamo. We will take our money elsewhere

Great environment to watch a movie. Wish the seats were a bit nicer but I think the tradeoff of the service level and quality of the viewing experience makes Alamo a great place to appreciate a movie.
