Csnt go wrong with a runza, iykyk

75 cent burgers, what a joke. I’m all excited to eat a few burgers. I get there and I’m all excited for 75 cent burgers which is what’s advertised in big bold numbers on the signs. The cashier was very nice but quickly explained that this was not the case. He said the toppings this included the bun make the actually price 7.50. Hugely disappointing

75 cent burgers on Tuesdays in august! What a screaming deal! Only problem is they cost 7 dollars

This is a great go-to when I need something quick and won't upset my stomach. The service needs a little attention, but nowadays, a to get (good) service with kids today is absolutely impossible, but there are a few. All it is is to feel that your business is appreciated, like I said, "not all"

I love #1 #2, #7 meals on #7 my son loves double. I wish they would advertise it. It was my son who told me about it. If it is in budget. It is a meal. Otherwise it's a sandwich only. Hands down . Best.

Went to La Vista one, it was busy on a Saturday volleyball game day. The burger was cooked really well. The French fries were perfect. Crisp and crunchy. Thank you for a great meal.

We just found Runza a week ago while traveling. We fell in love with the original cheese sandwich!! When we knew we would be passing through today, we planned to stop for dinner. However, we are pulling a camper, and the dining room closed 10 minutes prior to our arrival. I got the attention of a cashier mopping the dining room. She let me in to order because there was no way the camper could make it through the drive -thru!! Needless to say, very happy customers who were craving their "new" favorite sandwich!! Thanks so much!!

Runza is alway amazing. I think it has to be the top fast food restaurant for quality. I love the cheese burgers, Runzas, chicken strips, onion rings and fries.

This store is horribly unorganized and alow, i came inside for a pickup order and it took 20 minutes for me to leave with a kids meal and chicken strips. Unacceptable

Can't resist a Runza and the best fries ever!

Drive thru at lunchtime is fast! There is always a long line, but they get orders out like no one's business.

Kid working the window messed up twice on the same order. Drink wasn't diet as ordered and forgot the twist cone. He was on his phone during my time so not surprised. Might sound fogey but come on!

On my way home, I called my wife to see if she wanted me to bring her anything. She said no, our youngest had brought her Runza. I said that sounded good and stopped and got me some. When I got home, there was something off about the double cheeseburger that I got, but I just can't put my finger on it. The onion rings were burnt, and not just a little. They were the color of pretzels and the crispy texture matched. This is the first time ever that my German Shepherd wouldn't even eat them. He did enjoy the burger though. I said something to my wife, and she said her burger she had gotten earlier was also not right. First time in 20+ years of eating Runza that I have ever not been satisfied with the quality.

If you’re looking for an onion and cheese sandwich with no meat, this is the place to go. Way overpriced, and very little meat. Ordered two Runza cheese meals. And there wasn’t an ounce of meat on the whole whole thing. you could barely taste the meat I won’t back.

Go to any other runza than this one. RUDE staff. I know customer service is hard to find but at this location it is not a thing at all. Maybe it’s just the shift covering around 7pm, but I wouldn’t chance it. Any other location is much better!!

This is the only place to get a Runza! Whether you're at this location or one of the others, this is a staple of Nebraska.

Double with frings, what's not to like

Living in Nebraska I have eaten at many Runza locations. This particular one was the best. Staff was friendly, dining room very clean and food warm. Fast food at its best.

Thieves!!! I went through the drive thru and order two meals. I got my drinks and they handed me a bag. I went down the road and looked in my bag just to notice that they shorted me one fry. I turned around went back in and nicely told they young man behind the counter about it. He turn to the manager and told her, she then stated you didn't order a fry. I ordered two meals hence the two drinks. Manager refused to talk to me. I won't be going back there ever again.

Went here for lunch with a coworker. Food was good but the Runza was a little soggy. We don't have this place in Sioux City so it is a nice change of pace.

We’ve eaten a lot of Runza over the years living in Nebraska, and this location gave me the best Runza meal I’ve ever had today. Hot, crispy, delicious, and accurate. Great customer service and friendly staff. Great job!

Love the food....especially the fries. Sadly they no longer have my favorite sandwich the Legend Supreme but they still make it for me.

Just ordered drive through and the guy couldn't get anything right. Asked to repeat over ans over and still can't understand. Then, we get to the window and he gives us a price, we pay, then he asks how many fries we ordered...🤔😑 so we said we had 2 combos and a kid's meal (come with fries). So we say we are suppose to have 3...then he tells us he needs to have the card back to charge for the other fry...🫣🧐🙃. Then we say, forget it at this point. Then he finally got someone who was "more adult" and can understand how to order fries...and my husband was annoyed at that point and explained it again to her (slightly with attitude) and she basically tells him he doesn't need to get all worked up...🤣😂😡 ok...not going there again.

Whenever I am in the Omaha area I make every effort to enjoy a Runza! The bread is superb!!

Convenient location, reasonably good service but disappointed with the food. Dine in... Ordered a bacon cheeseburger and fries. Fries were hot but I got a bunch of one to two inch shorties. Burger was dry and lukewarm. Pretty mediocre at best. Too hungry to complain so I just ate it as is Been through the drive thru a few times and it was alright.

Sable was super great and the other workers work hard to provide some of the best customer service I've ever seen proud of all of them this is the best runza ever.

Drive through is AWFUL. We waited 15 minutes with two cars ahead of me and another 5 at minimum at the ordering sign. Baffled. Wished I could have backed out but was trapped. Fast food — might as well have ordered takeout somewhere. Insane.

Visiting from out of town and never heard of this place, or a Runza before. Glad we stopped by excellent fries and onion rings too. Super friendly employees too.

Meh for the cost. Customer service was good. The Runza is overhyped. Basically Big John Steak and Onion, but worse.

Always stop here while in Nebraska. Drive thru is quick and my order is always right. Will stop again!

Best burgers of any fast food place!

Runza is always a good choice. I think their burgers are better than other fast food establishments. The Original is the best. The crinkle cut fries are excellent. This location was very clean and the restrooms were clean as well. Employees were nice. I would recommend this location for sure!

First time trying any Runza was here. The Runza sandwiches were actually divine, but the sides we tried (fries and onion rings) were the blandest bits of food we've ever had.

While traveling to Nebraska we wanted to make sure that we ate a Runza. The girl assisting with was very helpful and friendly. She had a lovely smile and answered our questions. The onion rings were made with real onions and were delicious. The Runzas were delicious and remind me of bierocks that I make. The restaurant appeared very clean.

Yum! Well seasoned & reasonably priced seeing meat to bread ratio is high! Onions rings are crunchy & have a good onion to breading ratio👌 yummy burger too! Friendly staff, quick service!

Came up there to eat in the parking lot saw the skinny blonde haired girl taking some out to the trash Winchester drink for shooters of alcohol and then go back inside on the fryer seem like she was pretty drunk unprofessional fries were cold music was loud in the back kitchen

Always busy here. Sometimes the food reflects how busy and hurried the prep is. Whole pile of onions on one side of the burger. Food is always hot and fresh

I work nearby and had been craving a runza. I went here after work and was highly disappointed. Spent over $40 for hard fries, cold burgers, and hard runzas. My whole family was disappointed

My company has now used them twice for meetings getting the new mini Runza's. What a big hit they are in the office. When I get them they are nice and hot so on a cold day they sure hit the spot. Keep up the good work!!

Clean store, nice friendly service. First time eating at Runza's. Had cheesesteak and Swiss and mushroom sandwich. They were ok but a little too doughy. The frings (fries and onion rings) were very good.

This is one of the easiest reviews I have ever done. Great food, great customer service. Accurate everytime. Personally, I have to say the best burger around. Very few have a comparable burger and have an argument on having the best burger, but Runza tops them. The fries are delicious, onion rings are very good. Chicken sandwich you can't go wrong with either. Thank you Runza. Keep rolling along.

I just bought ice cream cones at this location, but runza has awesome soft serve ice cream. I normally buy the grilled buffalo chicken wraps, which are awesome, but haven't bought them from this location.

After reading some of the other reviews, I was hesitant to come. As a first time customer as I'm traveling through the area, my experience was as follows: Cleanliness 4.9 - (1 table not clean out of 20). No big deal - want to be 100% honest. Bathroom was very clean and stocked. Friendliness 5.0 - The lady taking my order was super friendly and helpful for a first timer. Couldn't find her name on my receipt. Food 4.9 - I ordered the #6 (double cheeseburger, frings, and a beverage). Another post mentioned the fries being great, I concur! Top 7 in my opinion. However, dont skip the onion rings as they were excellent (and extremely hot - caution). My experience was pleasant, satisfying, and I would gladly come back again next time I'm driving through Omaha.

I go for the iced tea and get my husband a cookie. He and I love all the food options they have but their fries are hands down the best.

What can I say? It's a Runza sandwich which is unique to the Mid-West. They have some of the best fries in the city.

Specialty food places are always a matter of taste, so take it with a grain of salt. (HA) Runza fans love this place. For me, Runzas are just kind of OK. The bread seems rather doughy, like it's under baked, and there is too much of it, relative to amount of contents. On the plus side, the fries were excellent! While I didn't try one, they have some good looking dessert available. So don't avoid this place, but don't expect to be wowed either.

I wish there was Runza in Brazil!

Great place to stop before and after an airplane flight! Our Nebraska raised children love to stop here as soon as they return, or on their way back! Easy to get to and wonderful Nebraska hospitality!

Runza sandwiches are really good. Go try one if you've never had one. My favorite is the Swiss cheese mushroom runza. Good burgers and fries too.

Who doesn't love a good runza especially offering it to out of town guests that are visiting Omaha? We love to support local but to also introduce NE items to guests who have never had runzas before. We cater Runza into the office for events often & do the mini cheese & regular Runza options with ranch (of course-the best homemade ranch in town). Highly recommend doing especially for "tailgate" themed events-always a huge hit!

What can I say, it's Runza. For folks who are not from NE. It's a burger chain like BK and McDs, except meat taste like meat rather than cardboard.

RUNZA is a unique place to enjoy a very good meal. A simple menu headlined with the great "cabbage, onion, and ground beef sandwich" with a nice complement of other "fast food" but freshly prepared. A favorite of this writer, just ask my wife, only wish they were in more cities and states. Thanks, Sally!

I had never heard of it, being from Texas we don’t have them, but everyone told me it was a MUST! I tried it and OMG if you are ever in Nebraska or one of the other states that have Runza restaurants you have to try it. It’s corned beef and cabbage in what reminds me of a hot pocket. Get the one with cheese and get the “Frings” or French fries and onion rings combo, top it off with some out of this world “homemade” range sauce and you will be all set! Enjoy!

Before I had to go gluten free I likely would have given Runza, a Nebraska born restaurant, a 5 star rating. However, since going gluten free it is not a restaurant I can eat at and enjoy the food the way I used to. My family enjoys their burgers, which are made with high quality beef (I think from Nebraska). We aren't big on Runzas - beef and cabbage wrapped in a closed bun. However, the burgers are delicious. I also loved their fries. I found out they are drenched in flour before being fried in a fryer used for their breaded chicken strips, as well. So, the french fries, all crunchy and delicious, are off my list. A Nebraska favorite is chili and cinnamon rolls. I thought it was an odd combination, but once tried, it was weirdly delicious to eat them together. The chili is gluten free, but not the cinnamon rolls, so those are also off my eating list. If you are visiting or new to Nebraska, Runza would definitely be a place you would want to try.

Never had Runza before. Never seen a Runza before. But he grew up with them and wanted to eat here. So we went. There wasn't any chicken or fish alternatives on the menu that I saw so I picked the bacon cheeseburger meal. I learned later that they have a couple of chicken options. I think I would have liked it more. But they have frings which are onion rings and crinkle cut French fries in the same container. That was excellent - I love French fries and I love onion rings and this way I didn’t have to choose. Their fries aren’t that good though - soft and not as crunchy as I like. The onion rings were well cooked. Easy to bite through - the onion doesn’t all come out as the link is not cooked enough. Very good. The bacon cheeseburger was average. Kinda small. Perhaps a Runza sandwich would have been better but I don’t eat a lot of meat and didn’t feel like one. He liked his meal and so did his parents but not my cup of tea - or burger. Would go back and try a chicken sandwich and have more onion rings.

Food was good and DT moved well at lunch.
