Awesome place to relax and have some beer's

Stopped by this little roadside stand of a bar for some live music by Banjoy—two women who played and sang beautifully! Bartender (didn't grab his name) was delightful, very friendly and engaging but not overly in your business. Drinks were reasonable. Atmosphere was lovely. The music drew in some locals who seem to frequent the establishment. Seating was plenty and the area was shaded by a large tree. Nice reprieve from the summer sun. Highly recommend stopping by this place for a cold one!

Great outdoor location when travel to Fredericksburg from Waco. Nice place to stop and get an adult beverage. Usually has live music.

This is where Albert Luckenbach goes for a good time! Shady oaks, food truck, dance hall, spacious patio and a full bar. Live music and a gentle breeze.

This is a must stop in the hill country. They have the coldest beer around and wait for it...the largest Tree providing shade I have ever seen. Live music also.

Food trailer didn't open till two o'clock pm. I didn't eat. Staff and management made me feel at ease. Cold beer and water hit the spot while I drank under the huge beautiful oak tree 🌳 😋 .

It was good for a Wednesday evening beer. Decent band. Clean bathroom!! Comfortable chairs .

2nd visit & love this historic place. This time we bought advanced tickets for dancehall. Had a blast. Music was fun & we loved the large dance floor. Got there when doors opened to snag some seats. Bar also located in dancehall. When weather is nice, Albert has free live music on patio & under huge, old oak trees.

Second visit on a Thursday night in early April. Same good live music, friendly crowd and friendly bartender. Plan to make it a regular stop when I visit the area!

This place was awesome! We absolutely loved the live music and sitting around with friends.

You have to come dancing here at least once! Historic dance hall with great live music and tasty drinks. We had the best time!!

Absolutely horrible!!! We drove up in a bus full of paying customers. We had a little music on and an employee ran up and told us the parking was only for the band, although parking never stated it was just for the band and we were only being dropped off. Not too big of a deal until another person ran up bent out of shape about our music and being dropped off. He said we needed to get out and we can’t bring in our own drinks in because I was holding an empty cup from our last bar on accident. He said I’m not mad at you its the driver, Well that’s my driver and no one should be yelled at like that. Absolutely rediculous. I understand the importance of these reviews and wouldn’t want to hurt a company so I’ll take this down as soon as something is done about the Bent Out of Shape TROLL! I’m sorry about this but was not welcomed at all with his “Concerns”!

Totally chill place for live music and a cold beer under a magnificent oak tree. The drive to get there is beautiful.

Great place for locals and travelers alike. Hang with a beer in your hand and be open to friendly conversations and even someone just busting out a guitar for fun.

Our bus driver made this place our last stop and we loved it. It is an outdoor venue with live music surrounded by picnic tables and a dance floor. The band was really good. The venue was surrounded by beautiful large trees donut provided plenty of shade. There was also a food truck but didn’t try the food.

Hidden gem in Albert, TX! This place was a throw back that was fun to see. The main bar is in the middle of the property and had windows that were open on every side. The bartenders were friendly and service was quick. There was a band playing outside when we were there and there was going to be another group in the dance hall starting at seven. We went for a friends wedding and we’re at the pavilion outside. There was good shade, great breeze and clean bathroom facilities. You’ll also be amazed at the huge trees on the property. We had a blast and can’t wait to find a reason to go back!

We showed up with a group of 9 ladies 4 minutes before the food truck was closing. He still served us and the food was delicious! He went over and beyond with great service! The live music was great! The bar server was excellent as well. Even the customers were so friendly! We were on a bachelorette trip and we came from Louisiana.

Apparently being an ice house means you can't buy beer in the ice house when a band is playing in the dance hall???? Not very Texas or friendly. Do not even go to this place

Not as touristy (or historic) as Luckenbach, but every bit as cool. Check out the incredible hundreds-of-years-old live oak out back that practically shades the entire property. An eclectic mix of visitors, from bikers to wine country folks to locals.

This is single handily my favorite place to drink beers and relax. Beautiful area, great outdoor sitting, ice cold beers, and a great atmosphere. My friend came to visit from Georgia and I made sure to show him one of the greatest places the hill country has to offer.

Love this little off the beaten track bar and dance hall! Good margaritas and a decent selection of beer. Wine selection is okay. There is one food truck so food options are limited. The burgers from the food truck were great though! We went on a Saturday afternoon and the music was great. The giant tree provides lots of shade and there is a good amount of seating. Plenty of parking and dog friendly! If you’re looking for a less crowded, less touristy spot in the Texas Hill Country, try this out!

Awesome Hill Country spot without the bustle of Fredericksburg! We stopped in one Sunday evening and were so pleased with the environment and drinks. Can't wait to come back for a show!

A little oasis in Hill Country, shades with large mature trees with food and food truck, liquor and live music; even a dance hall dating back to the 1800's. Lots of sitting area picnic tables and lounge chairs to relax. You can take a cable car from there for wine tours.

Cool place, but we visited on a weekday and there was nothing going on. In fact, other than the bartender, we were the only ones there. Bartender was OK, but not overly friendly.

This place was cool. It's really off the beaten path but worth the drive. They had live music and cold drinks. I certainly recommend this place if you're ever in the area.

this is not a welcoming a space for black folks — it’s the patrons more so than the staff. Wine tours, please find another stop because Albert TX is not it

Near Fredericksburg out in the sticks, worth the trip but recommend checking the schedule to make sure of hours.

Great lil Ice House with LIVE music tucked away in a perfect lil spot.

Met some new friends there from the Bike Rally going on in Luckenbach. The Bartender at Alberts was very nice. Food truck was also very good too.

On a wine tour we walked into the bar the local where rude so was the bar tenders . The band was awesome !!! Wish I could give no stars but the band was good.

Been here several times. Fun stop on the way or back from Fredericksburg area. Sister town to Luchenbach. There was a couple playing music inside. Sounded good. Had a cheeseburger with fries and enjoyed with my family under the massive oak tree.

We sat outside and listened to 2 great music groups on a Saturday night. Had a food truck on-site. It's a local hangout that is similar to Luckenbach 30 years ago someone told us.
