A good old diner here! It's cute and family based. The chefs communicated with the servers verifying a special order and that did not go unnoticed. Thank you for that! The food came out hot and can see the car this particular server had. I will be back!

Good food at a reasonable price. Staff is very friendly. We'll worn historic old building. Had breakfast listening to a couple of regulars discussing Harley Davidson motorcycles - long and loud.

This place is a gem. Unchanged. It is a real hometown rural atmosphere restaurant obviously loved by locals. Food is exactly what I hoped for. Coffee was good, too, which often is not the case in family restaurants like these. The 2 x 2 x 2 breakfast comes with monster pancakes (portion). We enjoyed all of the fun signs and quotes hing around the place like the one attached here😁.

Recently found this place. It reminded me of the diners of old. My waitress was very nice and informed me of the daily special that day. "Country fried steak and eggs with gray". It was exceptional and tasty to say the least. Though it wasn't very busy. I found my hash brown's not so good. They were burnt in areas and they were not hot? I can't help but feel as if "they may have used a previous batch". But I obviously can't prove that. All in all a very good breakfast. I liked it enough to go back a second time. Everybody, every place deserves a second chance. On my second visit I was asked to try their skirt steak and eggs. "Everything" was delicious and hot. I will be returning again. I'm glad I went back, and will continue to do so!

So I finally made it here and the trip was worth the wait. I had the pancakes. Thank goodness. I only ordered the short stack because they are huge and was only able to eat one. Save the rest for the next day. The pancakes were so delicious, fluffy and perfect. I'm going to have to come back to try the hash browns and unfortunately I don't eat pork so I really can't try the biscuits and gravy but they look delicious. On the pictures I've seen I didn't see any turkey, sausage or turkey bacon on the menu so I guess I won't be having any of that with my next meal. But that's okay. I can live off the pancakes alone. They're delicious. The place is so cute. Very home like the waitresses are super nice. Just nice atmosphere all together. 🥞❤️

I haven't been here in a LONG time. I always remember Ted's stir fry. They still make it, but just call it stir fry now. It used to fill the Styrofoam container, now about half the container. Maybe it was a half order, but I'm not sure. The place was busy as I remember it used to be, so it took a few minutes for the food. Talked to a Navy veteran while I waited. Quite a few veterans in there every day, I was told. Anyway, the food is still as good if not better than I remembered. Will try to make it back here more often!!

Americana Defined. This diner is a treasure. Seating no more than 30 folks the service is extremely friendly and engaging without being smothering. The food is great. Actually, it is flat out brilliant. If you are even within 30 minutes do not miss this opportunity to enjoy the role model for a Midwest Diner.

Huge portions of food - highlights were sausage gravy, and hashbrowns. If you like onions, be sure to het the hashbrowns with onions — delicious!
