BEST sushi in South Jersey!!!! Super clean, they always get our order right, and sushi tastes so fresh!!! Won’t settle for any other sushi spots in NJ - this one is the best!

Well prepared food that wasn't over oiled or salted. Highly recommended. Best restaurant within a 10 mile radius.

My partner and I had dinner at Shogun Japanese Cuisine tonight, and I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted, making us feel instantly welcome. The relaxing ambiance, enhanced by soothing sounds, created a therapeutic dining atmosphere. All of our food arrived hot, and each bite was a delight, leaving me feeling like I was floating away. The staff, including the host, waitress, and owner, were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring all guests were enjoying their meals. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to return soon.

After visiting just one time I knew this was going to be my new spot. The owners are VERY nice and welcoming. The decor is moderrn and the whole place is extremely clean. I have visited 4 times this week and it would have been 5, but I didn't know they were closed on Mondays. :) They have reasonably priced lunch menus with a vast selection to pick from. We had the California Roll, Shrimp Mango Roll, Spider Roll (Soft Shell Crab), Shrimp Tempura Roll, and the Tuna Avacado Roll (in order from top to bottom in the photo). I also had a Kani Salad and Miso Soup. I already have a plan to go back this Friday and try something new!

When here with my mom for the first time today. We were sat immediately (there was no one else in there). We ordered dumplings to split, she got shrimp katsu and i got chicken katsu don. Her shrimp looked nice but she said it tasted like regular frozen shrimp. My don bowl was questionable on presentation and taste wise was flavorless but what bothered me the most was the chicken was soggy. Katsu is supposed to be crispy/crunchy…. It was neither. The picture below is what i ordered.

Sushi is always fresh and prepared well. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.

We went here for sushi for my son's B-Day ( his favorite food). We loved it! The family running the place was awesome. Young lady that was our sever was on point. I spent $122 last night and the food was horrible! I got so sick after ( I still can’t leave my bathroom) and thought it tasted off! I would never order from here again ! Not one dish I ordered tasted like much of anything! And had a strong fishy smell!

I’ve been ordering here from years. Definitely the best/freshest sushi I’ve had in South Jersey (on par with Sagami in Collingswood, which seems to be the gold standard for sushi in the area) Interior ambiance is nice, very modern aesthetic. The owner is very kind and the rest of the staff provide great service.

Was hoping this was going to be good. Was greeted nicely. That was it . Ordered sushi and I knew it was trouble when I opened it and smelled fish. Salmon was bad in my Philly roll. Tuna in tuna roll was about to turn bad. Had to throw $57.00 worth of food out. Sad but true.

Went for my sister's 26th birthday and the host came with the "mostess." Very nice and since we reserved and mentioned a birthday she went ahead and put a banner up for our table. What a wonderful experience ❤️. Thank you Shogun.

First time trying this establishment out. Will definitely return. So. First things First, this is a small establishment and I believe the owners (wife and husband) are the only cooks/chefs and there is only 1 server. So if your patience is low....ya may want to call your order in for pick up ahead of time. I saw a table literally walk out because of the wait time for the food (but it's fresh)!!!! Lol We were greeted by the sweetest server...she was very accommodating and genuine. The meals ordered (taste wise) matched the establishments energy. Very Nice

One of the best places to get sushi! Both dining in and takeout are good options. Especially love the affordability and quality of their lunch specials. Everyone greets you with kindness and the service is wonderful. Will definitely be coming here often. I wish I took more pictures because the plating is cute and aesthetic.

I did a takeout order 2x. 1. Pleasantly took my order they should be the standard for everywhere. 2. They were very pleasant when I picked up my food. 3. Restaurant is very well taken care of and very cozy. 4. The sushi from here is some of the highest quality in all of south jersey. It is very well prepared and extremely fresh. Very tasty! 5. This is my new sushi go to. Good bye to the last place for over 24 years. RIP!

5/5 stars all the way 🌟 from my first step inside to the last bite. The atmosphere is cute with the marbled flooring and color-changing lights decorating the walls and counter. The owners are sweet and friendly, especially Jenny 😇 As for the food - not only was it laid out *beautifully* but it was all absolutely delicious with heaping portions 🏔. We ordered chicken teriyaki, chicken & beef teriyaki, a tiger roll, and a rainbow roll. Food came out fast and soon enough, we were all lazily sitting around patting our bellies as sweet Jenny collected our empty plates. Even the orchid flower garnish wasn't spared lol 🌸😋 The teriyaki sauce was perfectly sweet and savory. The beef was soft and juicy to the point that we thought it might be ribeye, the best cut imo. The sushi tasted super fresh. I like a strong wasabi and this wasabi was killer. Really put the horse in horseradish cause it feels like you just got kicked by one 🐎 😭😭 Will definitely be returning

Service was very kind and fast. The food portions were a bit small but very very delicious and our waitresse was super friendly. The place is so pretty, nice atmosphere and clean. Definitely coming back for more.

Great Quality and very quick. Secret, if you order online and pickup the time is only about 15 minutes versus standard 55 minutes default on the website.

Super nice woman took my order by phone. 2 roll lunch special (comes with soup and salad) $10.64. Good price! Soup and salad were delicious! Sushi was very subpar, and that is the key player which determines the review. The rolls were exceptionally small. The Philadelphia roll only had salmon and cream cheese, when usually this roll also has avocado or cucumber as well. The filling for spicy tuna roll was just mush. Would return in a pinch, but advise them to provide equal quality sushi as both lunch and dinner.

Food was ok yet lacking any real flavor. Serving sizes for the price were not acceptable. Shrimp Fried rice was tasteless and has shells on shrimp still. Overall their Hibachi wasn't worth it.

I recently discovered Shogun. I ordered the Beef Soup (has udon noodles), the Dragon Roll, shumai, and gyoza for a delivery order. I was incredibly impressed. Not only was everything super fresh and still hot when it got to me, everything was packed meticulously, and with care. Their rolls were excellent, and really flavorful. The Beef soup udon were not soggy, even though they arrived to me already in the broth. The beef was tasty and fresh as well. I appreciated that they included the spices in a separate container to flavor to my liking. This is the best Japanese restaurant I have tried in this area so far. **Update: I have ordered from them a few more times. Their food has been consistently excellent. I HIGHLY recommend this place for great Japanese cuisine :)

The seafood boil is delicious. Very buttery and spicy! The snow crab were on the smaller size but the shrimp were on point.

Ordered takeout several times. Always made fresh and food is delicious. I've gotten the lunch box several times which is basically a bento box. Such a great deal for only $11 you get a ton of various food with it. Sushi that comes with it is some of the best sushi I've had in the area.

Just ordered food for pickup, I walked in and was greeted immediately from more than one person with a big smile & my food was delicious. $12 for 3 roll special is awesome. Great place, forget the Chinese place, try the entrees here, fresh, tasty, and very clean well run restaurant. Prices reasonable. Sushi is very good but boxes and entrees are well prepared and a nice meal. Across from turnersville Jeep in plaza with Tuscan pizza! I’ll be back again. Wilco plaza Chinese food has gotten too big/ego for their customers and prices too high. They appreciate you here and aim to please!

Shrimp teriyaki box dinner was excellent! Full meal s and all ingredients well prepared. Presentation excellent. This is a hidden gem, clean well run restaurant opposite turnersville Jeep/auto mall on black horse pike wash twp, across and down from Lambertis. Great alternative to over priced Wilco plaza Chinese food! Nicer owner, appreciate their customers. As always pick what you like for best meal, tempura-fried, teriyaki not. Good soup, salad, good noodles. All around great!

The hubby & I absolutley loves this place. We visit at least every two weeks and some times we've gone back to back. The customer service is amazing and the ambiance is so relaxing. Try the Sea Bass it never disappoints.

This is the best sushi I have ever had in my entire life!!!!!!!!!!! The hibachi is also AMAZING. I am a big sushi fanatic and ordered because I wanted food at work but was sick of the same places, but I will be ordering a LOT more often now!!!! Absolutely delicious!!!!!!

I've been in there quite a few times I told them uni was my favorite and they said They carried it all the time so I paid the extra $15 for dinner it's much more expensive here than anywhere it's very clean it's not very large portions of fish uni very small portion I did tell them I do a lot of reviews on sushi restaurants and they seen me taking pictures but they've never tried to make my visit special they charge for everything with exception if you spend $80 on yourself she'll give you a couple ice cream discs their little ice cream is wrapped in dough I buy them for a 1. 99 for a box of 8 at the Oriental supermarket after about my eighth visit they did give my young child some kind of a drink but I think she charged me LOL it's never crowded if you want to get away from the crowd and pay a little extra money to do that the fish is fresh it's just small portions like I told her I go to tell him I owe for $24 or I can eat big portions fresh fish or I can come here and spend almost $80 and I'm still a little hungry

I was there tonight for dinner with my girlfriend and we had the best Japanese food ever. Sushi was out of this world we will be back on a regular basis for dinner I will recommend this restruant to everyone. The workers there are very nice and polite.

Wonderful food and service! Best in the area. They are so welcoming and go above and beyond. The food is always amazing. The place is beautiful. Even though it is small, it is no problem to come by with a large group.

The ambience is the best feature. The service is very good and my meal was nice. I enjoyed dining here but we were the only customers the last two visits, so the wait staff and cook a bit devoted to us. As for the meal, we both liked the green salad with ginger dressing as well as the Gyōza, I thought it was the best Gyōza I have ever tasted. Salmon sushi can be great but is rarely so in my experience. The Alaska roll I had here was just OK, certainly fine but not as fresh as I like it. As you can tell by this review I am experienced with sushi cousine and thereby sometimes critical or discerning about it. I will get back there to try some other menu items and of course for the Gyōza.

Whoever took over this restaurant did an excellent job. The food is delicious (considerably better than Naruto was) and the prices aren't all that bad, plus they deliver. Highly recommend.

Edit: This review was made when the place was called Naruto Sushi... Sushi is artistically prepared and delicious. Leftovers even taste good the next day from the fridge. The food quality is top notch. Literally everything is delicious, from the avocado salad to the takoyaki. The restaurant is a bit expensive, but the quality is worth every penny. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is different in a good way! I refuse to eat sushi anywhere else because nothing in the area compares to this place. I wish I could eat there every day! :D (as you can see from the pictures I have been there a lot of times haha)

Outstanding. My wife and I got here an hour before closing, I know, I know. They showed us such fantastic hospitality and everything was served with grace. The food was very tasty, we ordered 5 different kinds of rolls. The white fish tempura roll was my lady’s favorite, I was into the Fashion roll. Also, the interior is attractive to look at, very clean and colorful. We’ll definitely be going back.
