Positives: The baker I spoke to was very friendly and accommodating Needs to improve: cake was very dense, almost like a pound cake. Icing had pieces of paper throughout it and was hard . $95 for a 1/4 sheet of cake seemed overpriced for what I got. When I went to pick up, only 1 person was working the store front on a busy Saturday afternoon.

My boyfriend and I got a couple of sweet treats from here and the staff was wonderful and the treats are amazing!!! 💛

Oliver's Desserts were absolutely delicious! We had multiple people at our wedding asking us where we got our desserts from! I am also gluten free and they were able to accommodate my allergy and make a delicious gluten free wedding cake! Highly recommend!!

These ladies are so sweet! I got my 30th birthday cake with cake pops and macarons! The cake was super moist and delicious!

We recently got our wedding cake from Oliver’s Desserts, and they exceeded our expectations in every way. Courtney was incredibly helpful throughout the process, starting with assisting us in ordering a tasting box. This was a super convenient way to try out various cake flavors and helped us make the perfect choice for our big day. She then guided us in placing our order and brought our cookie and cake design vision to life. The final product was not only beautiful but also delicious. I would highly recommend Oliver’s Desserts to friends and family for any special occasion!

We did a cake tasting and ordered our wedding cake from Oliver’s and were impressed! We think this is the best cake we have had in Cincinnati and will be sure to order all future event cakes from them in the future. If you have not checked them out already, we highly recommend!

Friendly service with amazing desserts. I've had multiple custom cakes done by them and they are delectable. I've had other items such as cupcakes, cakepops, cookie sandwiches, etc., and I have not once been disappointed!

Fantastic macarons and love getting my iced coffee there while I’m at work as a midday pick me up- the staff is always incredibly friendly and informative. They have a ton of great options for all kinds of dietary restrictions, not to mention all of their baked goods and pastries are simply gorgeous. (If you go, you have to try the cotton candy macaron- it’s to die for.)

Got a gluten free butterfinger cupcake here, and it was awful. I understand gf things don't always taste as good as things with gluten because of alternative ingredients, however, as someone who worked at a gluten free bakery and often made cupcakes, there was no excuse as to why that cupcake was THAT gross. Even the icing was nasty. Maybe it was just old AF because everyone else's reviews are good. But my friend said she had gotten cake in a jar from there a few days before and it was also disgusting.

Listen, this is genuinely a compliment: their desserts are so good they made me forget I have an eating disorder. That strawberry sundae cupcake is divine.

I'm surprised and happy this bakery exists!!! This place is right between Auntie Anns & Time warp Games. The man at the counter was super nice and patient and answered all my questions about what was in the layered cake that I bought. He even showed me the packaging with the ingredient list on one of the mixes they use so I could see what types of sugar subs they use. He also threw in a free cookie which I ate before it took a photo 👀 I wasn't a huge fan of the cookie because it had a big cooling effect. But! Man, I've never had an almond flour baked good that was toasted on the outside but didn't taste bitter. Almond flour is so sensitive, but their cookie was baked perfectly! But that cake tho. That cake is were it's at for real. Didn't have too much artificial sweeteners. Had a more fatty icing - which I love. I wish I could smash 2 more. And the cake is like a cake crumble. If you need to be sugar free I would recommend trying this place out. It is so nice being able to go to the mall with friends and enjoy a dessert with them... I never thought that could happen. My only criticism! I might have not seen this but it would be nice to have posted what types of sugar replacements are in the items. Some people don't work well with all sweeteners substitutes. Having the carb count for each item would also be nice for people following a ketogenic diet.

Stopped in today at the Eastgate mall to get some shopping done and ordered a cinnamon roll on my way through. Talk about quality 👌. Top notch customer service as well. They warmed my cinnamon roll and gave me some extra frosting on the side. I quickly shewed my husband and kids away so that I could fully enjoy it. I will be back.

The best macrons I have ever had. This is a must go if you are in the Eastgate aera. Trust me you will not be disappointed. Staff was very friendly and professional. The price was great considering they are quality hand made products not mass produced garbage.

Definitely go give Oliver’s a try if you haven’t already! You won’t regret it.

The food was so delicious and I was treated with so much kindness by their staff! They went out of their way to add Carmel to a cupcake since I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for. I am looking forward to trying new things from there shop again soon

Absolutely love the staff and people here! My daughter’s school often has events that they offer door prizes and stuff for! My daughter once one their treats at a father daughter dance and we’ve been customers ever since ! Highly recommend

Every experience we have had has been phenomenal. The customer service is incredible and they go out of their way to make every customer happy. The new cinnamon cookies are unlike anything I've had before! I own a home bakery so my expectations are high, but I send all of my clients to Oliver's if I'm unavailable because I know the quality and customer service is exceptional. I absolutely cannot recommend them enough!

It's so nice to be able to stop by a bakery the day of and have a couple gluten free and vegan treats available <3. Staff are so friendly.

I was at the mall and decided to try some cupcakes since I had always heard great things about this place. The price seemed high ($5 each) but I didn't mind too much because I like to support local businesses. The gentleman who waited on me was very nice but something bothered me.. he didn't wear gloves or wash his hands before handling the cupcakes. I didn't really think about it until later on. When I tried the cupcakes I cut one in half so I could just eat the inside of it. I have to be honest, I wasn't impressed with the flavor. They seemed a little stale as well. I may give them another chance, I just sadly wasn't impressed this time.

The cupcakes were dry and the icing appeared stale with a hard coating that had developed on the outside. For the price we were not impressed with the product and will not be returning. Giving two stars because the cupcakes looked nice, but that is unfortunately where the positive sentiment ends.

We knew this place was setting up few weeks prior and just the other day we went to the mall for some stuff and we finally noticed them open. What caught my eye 1st was the little boy at the counter offering my 2 year old a sticker and then getting into details with what they have and a business card. Give that lil man a raise haha 😄. 2ndly I love going around writing reviews about food and goodie places. I was pretty sad when the cookie store moved out but honestly idc anymore. Their place has the equivalent that's way fancier and tastes amazing. We had bought the double cherry and wedding cake flavors and a stuffed icing cookie. True to the flavors and easy to eat with the spoons they provide to eat out of the container right then and there. Perfect for families who have Littles. Let's hope with the new ownership of the mall we actually get to keep places like this here. I asked if they cater and they said yes. So I will be planning to do special event orders in the future. Thanks for the experience guys.

I used to LOVE Oliver’s desserts. But ever since they’ve moved locations, got rid of previous employees and stopped making the same options it has really started to decline. No set hours, never know if they will be staffed or not, rarely have dietary restricted options even though they promote them. I really miss the old Oliver’s.

We were incredibly happy with how our cake and dessert table turned out. Oliver's has so many dessert choices that we went with a variety! Our guests loved them and had dessert boxes to go as well. My Chicken Alfredo was, as always, superb. My dining partner had the All You Can Eat Soup, Salad, and Breadsticks, and said that it was also quite tasty (though one flavor of the soups wasn't a big winner for his taste). We split a fine piece of NY Style Cheesecake; altogether a delightful dinner. Service was very good too.

We picked Oliver's Desserts for our wedding cake and cupcakes last year, and working with them was great! Communication was prompt, and the pricing very reasonable. Being able to taste-test from the list of flavors was very helpful, and in the end we couldn't decide on just one flavor and instead got cupcakes in three flavors for our guests. Delivery was on time, and everything was as expected. While I'm not often in the market for custom desserts, I would certainly highly consider coming back to Oliver's when I am.

Truly, the best cupcakes you will ever have they have revolutionized the way to consume a cupcake! And it is amazing not only that, but everyone that works. There is truly an amazing person at their core when me and my wife we’re going through IVF treatments they gave me a few extra sweet treats. The next time I came in they asked me how it went. They truly do care about their patrons and taking care of them! This is definitely a desert shop. I would drive 3 to 4 hours for no joke.

Prices are extremely high for what you get. I suppose if I could advise them that it would be too spend less money on packaging so they can concentrate on lowering the prices. Personally I found some of the desserts to have an odd taste to them. I believe it was the icing. I wouldn't go back or recommend.

Pretty tasty treats. I found the cake in a jar things to be really fun! Hope I’m in the area again sometime soon.

My husband and I are not "cake people," so we planned on having just some assorted desserts from around the world for our wedding. We're glad we went with Oliver's to make a small cake and some travel themed cookies to go with it! The cake and cookies were beautiful, and super delicious! Oliver's was easy to work with and pretty comparably priced to other bakeries around here.

Such talent in this place! Gluten Free and Vegan options are delicious! Will be back to see their seasonal creations!

They have the best of everything.

We used Oliver’s for our wedding. We didn’t do a traditional cake, but a cookie stacked as a cake. It was DELICIOUS and so beautiful! Thank you!!

Super friendly place with deliciously fresh baked goodies. Love their macarons and cookies. Prices are higher than the grocer baked goods but remember you’re supporting a really great small business and community member. Never had a bad experience here and they are always helpful and nice.

If you want amazing desserts, Olivers is the best place. They made my wedding cake and made figures for our pets to go on top! The cake itself was amazing and was gone by the end of the wedding! The macarons were in our wedding colors and were also gone by the end! We had 3 flavors for our cake. Chocolate, red velvet, and banana! I have gotten more desserts and sweets there since my wedding for friends and family and I have not heard a bad review yet! Also, knowing they can accommodate my Celiac disease is wonderful. It's nice to be able to eat a good dessert that isn't heavy, thick, or grainy.

Oliver’s Desserts are delicious! I love trying out their new flavors of cupcakes. The staff is always so nice and helpful. I wish they were open just 30 minutes later so that I could make it before they close after work (more easily) but again…so delicious and worth the trip 😃

I am vegan and it was my birthday. I got vegan cupcakes and they were fabulous! So tasty. Not many places have vegan desserts. I would totally recommend Oliver's.

The BEST cakes and cupcakes and more. But even better?? The crew! We are always welcomed with big smiles and it feels like coming into to see old friends. Our little guy loves their Rice Krispie treats so much but also the custom cake we get for his birthday—They did everything he dreamed of, even a ghost driving a firetruck cause that is what he wanted. 🤣

I ordered the cake for my mom's 92nd birthday here and it was outstanding. It turned out so beautiful and was absolutely delicious. Most importantly mom loved it! We ordered the Floral Vines design. The buttercream tasted judt like mom made when we were growing up. We had nearly 30 people and two are gluten free so I ordered a separate baby cake for them. They were so happy to have been included. It's nice to have that option and an easy thoughtful way to include those with special dietary needs. They even decorated it to match moms cake. It was so cute! I had originally put on my order that I would pick up the cake at 1:30 but called a few days before to ask if I could pick up in the morning instead. They were able to accommodate me which was fantastic. From start to finish this was such a great experience we will be ordering all of our cakes from here going forward. So good!

Small family owned bakery with a wide selection of creative options with many gluten free choices as well. Wonderful service, the owner is very friendly and understanding of dietary restrictions. I highly recommend the fruity pebble cupcake.
