Lebanese food. My favorite, and this was some of the best ever! Service started a bit slow, but recovered quickly and the whole experience was amazing. I have taken friends with me on 2 other occasions and they were impressed. Highly recommend!

I felt like home being here... This is one of my favorite food items. The service is excellent, the staff is friendly and not overbearing, and the decor is beautiful. I will be back again.

Really good - big entree portions for a good price, and everything I've tried is delicious. I have never actually been in, just order delivery, but I'm always happy. I wish there was an option on the delivery apps to buy extra pita! I often get the appetizer dip trio and it's never enough pita for all the dip they give.

Service and treatment are very bad

The food here was excellent! We tried 4 different things and everything was delicious. The portion sizes were also great! The spicy chicken and lemon chicken were excellent, saucy and hearty. I also had the kabab plate which was good. The shawarma bowl had the chicken seasoned perfectly. I’d highly recommend for the food. It’s not a fancy place, and you’ll have a slight smell of hookah flavors even when you’re inside, but it’s worth it for a budget friendly halal meal.

Very good. Big sizes. Big menu. Spicy cream chicken and all hummus types were unreal. My only improvement would be the bread. Comes out nice and soft but quickly goes hard a crusty. Service is ok but maybe not most attentive - completely fine. Also open very late.

We went for an early dinner so there were not many people there. It did start to get busier into the evening. Outside, there are lots of people smoking hookahs so only sit outside if you're prepared for that. The food was delicious, service mediocre and staff were very friendly and nice. Will definitely go back and highly recommend.

Good kebabs, yummy humus, & that garlic spread. Dont forget their appetizers and dessert. I could eat there every night for a week different dishes every day. All of them will melt in your mouth. & if you like to smoke hookah with friends they have that to.

This is a fantastic spot! The service, the food, the hookah, honestly amazing. The chicken shawarma sandwich has a twist to its seasoning but makes it so good. It’s juicy, flavorful and every bite is great. The hookahs alone are a newer design, smooth and are well made. All in all, you can’t go wrong here. Recommended would be the chicken and/or beef shawarma and I’d also recommend the mixed meat plate. The beef was noted as sirloin.

It's my second time dining, it's fantastic visiting LA from Seattle every thing is 100% especially the food, it's going to be my place every time I visit Los Angeles.

Amazing food and even better management

I ordered catering for a family party on Saturday. The food was delivered and arrived right on time, perfect temperature. I don’t eat meat, but my family raved about the chicken Shawarma. I loved the silky baba ghanouj, the stuffed grape leaves, hummus, and spinach pies. There are lots of great vegetarian options. More than enough food for all, with lots of leftovers, even though everyone ate seconds and thirds. I would definitely recommend this place for catering. Can’t wait to try the restaurant itself.

Almaza popped up on a food blogger’s Instagram post and I flagged it for a future meal and I’m glad I did. As soon as I walked in I was kindly greeted by one of the servers and given a menu to place my takeaway order. The menu had so many interesting options but I settled on the mixed kabab plate so that I could taste a little bit of a few things. After placing my order a fresh order of fries came out that another server gave me a taste of and they were crispy and delicious. My order soon came out and when I finally dug in at home I was happy with my choice as the food was tasty and fresh. The staff here was really friendly and the food was great and I look forward to going back and having a meal at the restaurant. This place deserves your business.

Very cool looking outside dining area

$35 for a low end hookah, overpriced + average-tasting food, which would not be considered “fine,” and rude waiting staff do not make sense. Come here to be ignored. I don’t know how I ended up here 3 times, all not good experiences. The hummus is really good though.

Comparing to Houston cafes,this place is not that good but it is better than nothing in Los Angeles as an arabic place. The hookah was not good at all and the use the same hookah hose they said we wash it after each customer lol

Great Hookah place, and if you like kabobs then this is it. One of the best kabobs in LA. The kofta kabobs are the best.

Been coming here for over 10 years and Almaza always has good food and good vibes. Excellent Hookah lounge and restaurant serving authentic Lebanese cuisine. Their salads and sauces have a tang to them, a bright and complimentary flavor to the food. The Hookah lounge is on their patio so if you’re not a smoker you can sit inside the restaurant away from the hookah. Recommend dishes are the Spicy Creamy Chicken, Lemon Chicken, Lamb chops and their Cheese Roll appetizer - basically like a Lebanese version of a spring roll, it’s so good! Beer and wine are available for alcohol. Parking is free on the street or in the parking lot adjacent. Came here recently for a birthday dinner with 10 people. With drinks, appetizers and courses our bill was a very reasonable $420.

A great choice for middle eastern to smoke hookah, with great customer service as well.

Delicious, I love Mediterranean food, and this spot was a cool vibe. The hookah was a bonus if u like to shisha. I'm definitely going back! Service was on point. Everyone smiled and greeted us.

I don’t recommend this place. Is not cheap and if you want just lunch don’t go there.

I do not recommend going to this restaurant hookah bar. I have never felt so much reverse racism in my life. If you are not Muslim or African-American, don't even bother the staff is rude won't even pay attention to you. Some of the patrons are completely intoxicated and they continue to serve them. If you want to get humiliated and feel like you're not welcome. This is your place if not, don't go. I can't believe in this day and age in the middle of Culver City. Their could be establishment that can treat customers that way. I'm going to be contacting the authorities because I've never felt so isolated in a city that I love for diversity shame on you!!! I had to give it one star cause I won't even let me post without it. I would give it -5 stars. As I continue to read reviews, the number one problem is the service there. The people that work there. They should all be fired or at least thought manners, and how to work in customer service here in the United States, it might work in the Middle East, but it doesn't work. Here in the United States. The name of the staff are: Luis, Reda, Michai, Christie and Hussein...

Gratuity is included in the bill WHEN I saw it I called to remove the extra gratuity I added. They still charged me that. Total rip off.

Chicken shawarma plate was Ok, no wow factor. The garlic paste was mostly corn starch.

Food is good... Server spilled drink on us, It can happen not a problem, But instead of apologizing or compensation they charged gratuity without mentioning anything on the menu for a table of five.. Which is kind of unethical business Will not return again.

Went on a rainy night they were still open and busy got to pick our own table I like that and the food was surprisingly good the plates don't look super large but are very filling I had spicy creamy chicken as the menu called it and it was soft and juicy with a sauce to fight over the lamb fell off the bone as my partner was eating everything was delicious I tried both types of hummus they both taste fresh it was a fun time having hookah in the rain 🌧

Food wise mediocre there'slots of better Mediterranean place. Service non existence waiters totally ignores you. Atmosphere the front part of the restaurant is more of a hookah place which I don't care for all the smoke.

first time I ordered delivery from this place it was amazing. Unfortunately the food quality has gone downhill fast. I ordered delivery today and it tasted cold and stale. The hummus was off. The lamb chops were dry and tasteless and burnt. Such a pity. I really like this restaurant but I will never be placing another order from them again.

Food is amazing. I had the spicy creamy chicken and the sauce is just so good. The outside sitting area is also very nice, such a nice atmosphere for a night out whether it’s a date or if you want to watch the game with your friends. The shawarma cheesy fries was amazing to the point I had to order it twice for me and my friends.

The food was delicious. Very fresh, tasty and great presentation. A little slow with attending to us, but that may have been due to miscommunication. If ever I visit the area again, I will definitely visit again.

Lamb chops and Hummus with meat was delicious. And very good atmosphere for both indoor and outdoor seating.

First time trying this restaurant yesterday i ordered it via doordash, it was so good! i got the chicken shawarma fries. It was good without cheese! the only thing i wish if they could add some lettuce, tomato , and pickled radishes on top of the fries itd be 100 times more amazing. super seasoned with flavor and didn’t make my stomach hurt like a lot of other restaurants. highly reccomend you give it a try! Will definitely order again. Now i want to try it in person at the restaurant fresh! delivery does take long but that’s doordash for you (:

The salmon skewer!! I've never had fish like that, and it's absolutely some of the very best seafood I've had anywhere, period. Delicious; I'm from very far away but I will gladly go very far out of my way to have it again. Abir was fantastic and so kind to us, amazing service and great to talk to. The whole staff actually was so cordial and hospitable, and the food was to die for. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I loved the Tabouleh, the salmon, the chicken Shawarma, the Turkish coffee, the Baklava, everything. I couldn't have capped off such a good day with a better meal than this!

I have ordered from this place every other day for at least six months probably more. Yesterday, in the kibbeh balls, we got a fully cooked long hair, embedded inside the ball and cooked with it. Never again and that was the nastiest experience ever

The hummus was decent, but the pita weren’t good. The beef shawarma was some of the worst I’ve ever tasted. I’m from the Middle East so I know a good shawarma is hard to find in the US but this was abysmal. Edit: got food poising from them that lasted a couple of days.

6 of us in our group, we absolutely loved all of our dishes. We ordered family style and we tried 11 dishes. All were so good, can't wait to go back next week. I cannot remember the names of the dishes, but the menu is very descriptive. So impressed!!

Best middle eastern food in LA. And in my opinion, a top 5 restaurant in the city. Hidden gem. Best hummus in the game!

Got hummus, tabuleh and espresso shot to go. Both tabuleh and hummus were good but a little on the salty side. The espresso was on point and really strong. People were nice and accommodating.

Went for hookah. Music was on point, 2000's r&b hip hop. Had a lentil soup and fries, they were good. Probably try real food next time. Hookah was good. Service could be a little better and I wish they had more seating for the patio (only place you can do hookah).

Food was delicious, hookah was perfect. Fantastic service from Abeer, I was watching her running to please all her customers after one of her coworkers quit that night. I hope the manager appreciate her and give her a raise. Thank You Abeer you are awesome. We will definitely come back whenever we are in LA.

The food was great. The hooka was good. Reasonably priced. The waiter was very sweet and worked hard to accommodate us. They couldn't join tables (due to Covid) so we had to split into 2 4-person tables which kinda sucked but other than that it was very good
