As close to New Haven quality pizza that you will get around here! My dad use to own this restaurant and he made the best pizza…..I have to say the quality is just the same as when he owned it and they use all the best ingredients! I love Amatos and will be only getting my pizza from them from now on. The sausage topping specifically is my favorite, I haven’t asked but I can tell they use longhini which is the best ! :)

GREAT food. Have never had a bad experience here. I might be biased because I know the owner but I’d travel the 45 minutes it takes me to go here vs 15 minutes to new haven, any day. The service alone is worth it. Amato & Jordan are some of the friendliest people you could meet in the food industry. Their food being so good is a bonus! id say prices are fair for the quality/fresh ingredients and great tasting final product that you’ll receive. Amato’s never disappoints.

Genuinely cannot find a better chicken parm sub. Their sauce is amazing, would recommend to anyone in the area for lunch.

Best pizza I have had outside of new haven for sure. We drive over from Centerbrook just to get it because it’s so good. Sauce is amazing, crust is nice and thin. Beautiful pie, have recommended to many people already!

Decent medium to thin crust, good toppings and good sauce. In many places this would be the best pizza in the state, but we are very picky about pizza around here! The best pizza is made in New Haven and we have lots of decent pizza places near here. The owner and staff have always been helpful, the pizza is on time, the place is clean and the prices are about the same as other pizza places in the area. This is a good place to try.

I'm from Virginia and with this being my first Connecticut pizza, I was impressed. I love the thin crust and the flavor of the sauce was so good! I liked that you picked up your to go food at the window and didn't have to go inside.

Their basic pizzas are great in their own, but its their specialty pizzas that grab you. Specifically their Chipotle Chicken Pizza is amazing. Just the right amount of spice. Highly recommend. Order early because they get busy!

BEST OF THE BEST! Hands down the most delicious PIZZA on the shoreline if not EVER! Found this little spot when my husband and I first moved to the area in 2020, and we haven’t been able to stop enjoying their delicious pizza ever since. It’s our go to every time people visit! Our favorites are their Napolitano and regular cheese w meatballs and black olives (well done)! We’ve also had the salads, mozzarella sticks, the cannolis, cheesecake, veggie pizza, everything is incredible! They recently started selling their sauce and I’ll tell you this, I’ll never by store bought ever again! Amato’s sauce is unbelievable! We love Amato and Jordyn as well. Super friendly and always have a smile on their face. A favorite spot in town — worth the quick drive over from main st. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Same pizza as the old Amatos that was in New Haven years ago. Good sandwiches and wings . Steak and cheese is a must try !
