Overall - not worth the cost. Food was generally bland, service was bad, and the pasta was more similar to what I would expect from a pizza place than a nice Italian restaurant. All four of us ordered a different pasta dish, and all four of us had overcooked, disappointing pasta. The Eggplant Parmesan came with a little side of pasta, which was soggy. If you have a dislike for al dente pasta this is the place for you. Served with plenty of marinara, but it wasn't worth it as it had little flavor and was watery. Caesar salad was also bland and watery. Service was not good. It took 45 minutes for us to be served, and that was only after tracking down our waitress that we had been waiting that long for our food. In general she was not attentive about drinks. There was a large party (seated after us) which may have played a role in the slowness, but our waitress could've at least checked in and let us know the kitchen was behind. Desserts were expensive for what they are. They show them to you on a tray which is nice, but it means you don't know the price until the check comes. Plus the slice they gave us was smaller than what they had showed us.

Hidden costs, third visit, knowing the place was expensive, I decided to check the receipt, Martini $13.00, plus 1.50 for a martini and .50 for each olive! Received poor explanation from manager. This is ridiculous, as they should tell the customer upfront. Manager turned rude when asked for explanation. Great food and service, however out of principle I will never return. They lost a potential regular customer without even trying.

It was alright in Waterville. It was better than Colby food. Kind of overpriced though.

We started with stuffed mushrooms, which were very good. My wife got the chicken parm, and I got the shrimp carbonara. Both were excellent. Their meatballs are also very good.

My husband and I greatly enjoyed our dinner at this place. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxing. The service was attentive without being overbearing. Our server was Forest G. He really made it a wonderful experience. He deserves to be recognized for his efforts. Thank you very much! We will be returning.

Very good food and service. The location is in a nice downtown area with good free parking in a lot located on the opposite side of the street. Restaurant is not huge so def make a reservation. Food was very good and service friendly and prompt. The Caesar salad was exceptional and my chicken dish very tender. Highly recommend - based on my one and only visit as an out of town visitor.

I enjoy the atmosphere at Amici’s. The bread that they serve is delicious. The Caesar salad was good and fresh .It is hard to find veal on a menu. So we had to have it! It was enjoyed by both of us. We were looking for something to eat while on the road to Bangor and stumbled into this great restaurant. Dinner was delicious…probably the best veal Marsala either one of us have ever had. They also let us split the meal for a nominal charge and we still had plenty to eat along with a delicious Caesar salad. Waiter was attentive but not overbearing.

This place was awesome. I am NOT a fancy person, but this place was still great. My wife and myself went to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, after a recommendation from a Co worker. The food was amazing, we were brought ice water right away, as well as a refill bottle if we wanted more. Also, our hostess lit a tealight candle at our table before we started. Was perfect. Every single bite was great. I felt like the cost of the food, for the quality of what we got was absolutely fair. Was just shy of 100 dollars for the two of us. I had san pellegrino for a drink, and my wife a cloud #9 mixed drink (no idea, very tropical) we had flatbread; drizzled with garlic and oil and covered with basil, mozzarella and tomatoes. I got the caprese stuffed chicken; came with roasted baby red potatoes and the vegetable of the day, which happily for me was asparagus. My wife got the 5 cheese lasagna. It came with no sides, but it was SO BIG she could only eat about half. Both meals also came with a salad. Between the appetizers and the main course we were served a small loaf of bread with dipping oil. We thought about skipping desert, but when our waiter Forrest brought out a platter to show us the desert, I knew we'd have cheesecake. Best. Dang. Cheesecake. Ever. Caramel drizzled on top, and the cake was probably 2, 3 inches thick. Fantastic night. Thank you to Amici's. We will most definitely be back.

My husband and I had dinner at Amici’s recently. To be honest, we had reservations that evening at another restaurant but when we arrived , the band was so loud that we decided not to stay. I had read about Amici’s so we decided to give it a try. It was a Friday night and we did not have a reservation. When we entered the restaurant we could see that it was full so our hopes of getting a table were slim. The hostess could not have been nicer. She told us there would be a 15 minute wait so we went to the bar. In 10 minutes we were seated at our table where we had excellent service and delicious meals. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I've eaten Italian food in Florence, Rome New York and Boston and this meal was comparable or even better than some I have eaten in high-end places. My husband and I were visiting friends and offered to take them out to dinner. They chose this restaurant as one they enjoyed. In all fairness, a second basket of bread was soft and warm. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and it came swimming in a puddle of undrained pasta. The chicken cutlet was pounded so thinly it was overcooked and dry. But also wet from the pasta water - an odd combination. I could only eat a few bites of it. My husband's mixed grill was essentially charcoal. Every single piece of meat on his plate was blackened. I appreciate that in this day and age of post-Covid staffing difficulties running a restaurant is incredibly difficult. But if I'm going to pay $30 for a plate of spaghetti, it should at the very least be drained properly. The staff should also be prepped on the menu before opening so they know what's happening with the menu. The setting in the restaurant is very pleasant and it is in a prime location. Ultimately, however, it is the food that matters. And we were sorely disappointed.

My daughter recently got married and we had booked rehearsal dinner for 30 people at Amici's. I woke up Friday morning experiencing heavier than normal allergy symptoms. After waiting two years to let covid calm down, this Mother of the Bride tested positive. Fortunately, I had very mild symptoms, and being an outside wedding, with a few tweaks (my own personal 10 x 10 tent) we could make adjustments for the wedding itself. But, I was so sad I would not be able to attend rehearsal dinner inside at Amici's. My daughters suggested I call Mary the owner to see if they could do take-out. With an eight hour notice, Amici's happily and expertly prepared dinner for 30 people to go. Every item was absolutely delicious as we all spread out on the lawn of our wedding venue.
