Owner won’t let you bring your own water and makes you drink their own water or buy their bottles. I don’t just drink any water, I’m pretty careful not to drink toxins and bring a reusable water bottle or cup around everywhere I go. Feeling pretty stressed out after the super controlling manager/owner came out and started a fight when we tried to show that it’s just water and explain our issue with drinking other water. Seems unprofessional and GREEDY. Taqueria Jalapeños is way more authentic, they deserve the business and open later. Go there.

Well I definitely will never be back. Figured it was Tex-Mex so I figured I would give it a try. Food is mediocre at best. Salsa was terrible. But the kicker was I ordered a little bit of diced jalapeno to go on top of my enchiladas and they actually upcharged me two bucks for them. So what is there an upcharge for lettuce and tomato as well? This folks is how you lose customers.

Tried this as they pride them self in saying they are best mexican restaurant in town. Let me tell you is NOT the food had no flavor, overpriced and service was slow

First time there tonight. Overall good place in a small town. Server i believe was newer but she did a good job until she got sat with a 15-20 top. Guac was good and spicy which we like! Micheladas was also good! I had a camarones al la diabla. I enjoyed it also. One employee stuck out, Dany. Our waitress got overwhelmed with her bigger table and Dany noticed we were ready to leave. She came over and asked if we needed anything, which we needed a bix and the tab. She took care of everything which i thought was awesome. Team work! I would def come back!

They don’t even deserve ONE star. I had been here twice before and had subpar service each time. We decided to give it another shot and honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. To begin the staff was not friendly at all. Everyone had horrible attitudes from the host, to the waiter. There was no manager or that’s what they told me at least. We ordered a chicken taco kids meal, they brought a ground beef one. We ordered 2 of the carne asada. (If we can even call it that). It was 99% fat 1% edible meat. Our waiter did not check in on us not one time between when our first drinks and when the food arrived. Lastly, upon receiving the check and paying I asked for a manager and was told there was not one by the host. Honestly I wish I would have just walked out and left. Absolute waste of money and time if you go there. STAY AWAY!

After witnessing how the owner or manager, treated a couple with a service dog and did not allow them in, alleging the dog was barking, I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Mexicans without good education and poor customer service. I was in line and after the spectacle me and my family left. DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

LOOK AT THE REIVEWS STAY AWAY!! Our sever Nina was amazing, but the food was bland and had no seasoning what so ever. The order of fries tasted old even my 2 year old spit it out. My shrimp quesadilla was edible but no seasoning on the shrimp and had a good amount of grease, wasn't cut for me I had to cut it myself and the cheese looked like they slapped it together put the shrimp in and plated it. The chips and salsa tasted store bought. It tasted like something that came out of a can. The rice and bean were okay the beans had a different taste but again was edible now the tortillas are another thing too rubbery like store bought tortillas not a good thing. Had high hope but definitely won't come back Update: the owner is obviously something else and doesn't respond well to bad reviews. there is nothing mexican about this place so please stay away. I repeat everything was horrible if you don't believe me just look at the reviews that's what I should have done.

I went to the restaurant sometime in May and the service was great and food was delicious. Ordered the cheese spinach dip, Quesadilla Michoacana and the fried cheesecake for dessert.

I visited the restaurant with my service dog and we were told to leave because service dogs were not allowed eventhough we showed the credentials. Very nasty people.

I’ve gone several times the last time I went will be the last time I go. My children and I waited 20 minutes just for them to get our drink order and another 30 just for them to get our food order. The food was not all that great and neither was the price of food. 3 plates for over $100 and most was left at table. The place was not even busy when we entered. Sad😡

Not Good at all! Ordered the Cowboy Fajitas. The dish coame.out warm. There was hardly any protein on it and it was poorly seasoned. I only had 3 pieces of Chicken, 6 Shrimp and 7 or 8 pieces of Steak. They brought out my Tortillas and Sides for the Fajitas about 10 min after dropping off the Fajitas. We will not be going back!

Tried to come sit down to eat and the hostess girl told us to leave because my girlfriend just bought an iced latte and didn’t want to throw it away! If you want to keep your regular customers don’t turn them away for no reason, we eat here all the time but now will choose one of the MANY other Mexican options in town!

To my surprise what they gave me were 2 pieces of steak, nothing to do with ribeye, but the charge does have the value of a ribeye, So for that reason, I do not recommend it, it is misleading advertising, because I expected my good piece of meat, not 2 lazcas of steak that costs 15 on the street, no more! Went in and ordered chicken fajitas waiting on them and drank a beer. Paid in advance $26 plus change. Guy brings me the bag.. I did glance in it there were 4or 5 things in bag.. I live 15 miles away.. I have been going here for 14 yrs or so.. get home no flower tortillas in the order, call them right up, tell girl what was missing , I live 15 miles away, all she says is I’m sorry.. yes I didn’t know what to say.. call back next eve. Ask for manager, tell him the deal and ask if he can do something.. his response was ‘that happene d yesterday and no one told me , you should have looked in the bag and made sure everything is there. I mentioned apparently no one there bothered to..he actually said you got the containers that’s the fajitas… you’ve got to be kidding me! Said if you want you can come up and we’ll give you the tortillas… another you’ve got to be kidding me moment. Asked to speak to the owner.. we’re a franchise…ask to have the corporate phone #. My voice was a little raised but never cursed, saying I can’t believe you can’t do anything .. asked what his name was and in mid sentence was hung up on by the ‘ manager’.. like I say I have gone to this place a long time..totally unprofessional, appeared to be all youngsters, manager sounded like a waiter… $26 /27 bucks. And get the rude snub…. Never ever, ever will I darken their door. Alva resident 7/27 23 .. I did try to find someone to contact.. only to get restaurant phone and text which I did.. but don’t expect to be contacted..shame on you the owner.. is that how you instruct staff to treat customers … ??? Addition to review.. now that I’ve read what the OWNERS responses are to SELECT lowest ratings reviews…. I understand the manager boy and his lack of intellectually managing a service issue in a restaurant business.. ditto for the owner….new update on 3/10/2024, I actually reported this to BBB, to see if I could get a response from Amigos & Beer… after months of them requesting a response that included me sending a photo of receipt , and actually speaking to Better Business Bureau representative, more than once..BBB called me Amigos & Beer did not respond in any way and ignored Better Business Bureau..with several months of trying to resolve… to me it’s the point of the whole thing. The lack of business ethics, customer service, and just plain old I could care less, we got our money, comes shining thru…. I see they are busy at times, due to season and population growth, but that will eventually dwindle. Check out the restroom picture in a different low review… then think about what the kitchen , cooks , ect… sanitation situation is….bad,bad, bad…

We ordered the chicken chimichanga and thought it would be deep fried, so it would be crispy, but it wasn't. Maybe they don't prepare them that way here in LaBelle.

If you understand Mexican cuisine you know the difference between what I call “bag and box” locations and the “hole in the walls” with genuine authentic food. This place was meh at best. The food tasted like it came from a bag and box and was heated up and thrown together. Green sauce definitely like Hernandez can sauce but microwaved. Spanish rice tasted like uncle Ben’s and tortillas are the generic store bought brand. Fajitas veggies were practically raw and not sautéed at all. When your food is not made with love it shows. May fool some caucasians driving down SR 80 but for the price not worth it. Service wise, the waiters looked miserable as if they did not want to be there at all. When you’re working even a fake smile goes a long way but your body language says everything. One of the orders was messed up and not charged properly. They refused to correct it. All I can say is go elsewhere. Mexican cuisine has one of the best flavor profiles in the world. They do not do the food justice at all, please take your money elsewhere.

When coming to this place make sure it’s what u want they will not take your plate back if u don’t like it or take it off the tab they will make u pay for something u don’t want or didn’t even eat and they will take extra money from u I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE

Good, favorable food. We were there on a Sunday with an eclectic crowd. This is the type of place we like.

Mediocre at best and the strangest tasting margarita I've ever had.

The food was awesome and the service was great.

Hate to leave such a bad rating but we were really looking forward to trying this place and were severely disappointed. The best thing we ate was the table side guac (which is the only thing that looked good enough for a picture) but they charge $12 for an avocado and a half. I got the veggie fajitas and the veggies were mostly either frozen or canned with the exception of the onions and bell pepper. I was shocked given there are so many farms in the area. I was really expecting fresh, made in house authentic Mexican food and that's not what they serve. Most of it is quite bland too which, again, shocked me. The corn tortillas also did not taste fresh and were mediocre at best. They charge for fresh, house made food but serve bland, frozen food. Waitress was nice but the restaurant itself did not look well kept or clean. Super disappointed. Will not be back.

This is an older restaurant with subpar food. The staff is super nice but I don't think I'll be coming back. I ordered steak, and it was 70% just fat

After our food was brought to us, no one ever returned to see if we needed anything. That is the only complaint. Everything else ess good. Will be back.

Our server was borderline unfriendly and took forever. We are patient people honestly don’t complain about much. My margarita tasted like lemonade with a half shot. The chips boring and the salsa tasted like ketchup…. Sorry to be so negative but it’s true. I try to always give good reviews but this place is below average.

Just moved to Florida, some of my friends highly recommended this restaurant, we will not regret dinning at this restaurant, we enjoyed everything! Starting with the DELICIOUS FOOD 😜, the service the ambient WOW! I was pleasantly surprised at the prices and that such excellent restaurants still existed. I will be returning soon! Food is good and service is not bad but can improve. I do recommend it for anyone looking to eat good Mexican food.

If I would have went to the restroom before we ordered I would have never have eaten here, this is disgusting. To top it off they serve very average food and charge you a service charge when you use a credit card and I did not see it listed anywhere on the menu or a sign only when they give you the bill. You should be ashamed of your filthy restroom and your billing tactics, very sad experience!

Very good food and the service was great. Best meal I have had since we have arrived.

Chips were cold and greasy. Steak fajitas were not steaming as usual when delivered to table. Even the margarita tasted off tonight.

Food was excellent! Our daughter ordered fajitas and they were great except the tortillas were not cooked and tasted like cardboard. Other than that the food was excellent. Service was horribly slow. Waitress was inattentive and forgetful. Meanwhile two women stand behind checkout counter doing nothing. We'll think twice before we return. This was our second attempt. Food at first time was delicious and plentiful, but Service was even worse.

I reserved table for 12 only to arrive and needed to wait at least 30 minutes which was extremely difficult to do. We got a table but at the far corner of the restaurant where waitress could not have any access to take our orders or serve the plates. The service was great and the food the same. We had a live singer to boost the environment and we had a great time despite our table wasn't reliable. I would most definitely recommend this restaurant but be careful if your reserving for party.

The Internet indicates you can make reservations but you cannot. Called in to let them know a large group of people would be coming in within the hour, the person took all the information and it appeared we were set. We were not. The group was spread out throughout the restaurant. Albeit it was a busy day it wasn't overwhelming and the majority of the orders took a significant time to arrive and several were incorrectly served. Not our first time there and not the normal service or quality. I'd go again just to be sure whether it was a fluke or not.

The food was good, only down point was that they did not have "Aguas frescas" only sodas, what is really disappointing for a Mexican restaurant.

New Guacamole is amazing. Chicken was incredible

The ribeye and shrimp plate was delicious; I added avocado and sour cream just to top it off. I also enjoyed the queso, it’s thin but tastes great and their house salsa and table side guac are fresh and tasty. I recommend trying the Michelada. What a great first experience and I definitely will be returning.

Daniela was our server. Very nice. Answers all our questions and was also very accommodating. Food was good and well portioned. Just passing through but I’ll be back if ever visiting again.
