It's the best, simple as that. The prices are fantastic considering how good everything is. Soup, sandwiches, muffins, everything is fantastic.

Stopped in for the first time today. The store has a nice clean layout. The staff was friendly and everything looked fresh. I ordered the Italian and let me tell you the flavor is outstanding. The bread has a crip outer with a chewy inner portion. The meat was delicious, as were the mixed greens and the vinegrette. Everything just meshes so well together on the sandwich. Overall, this is a must try.

My first time experience here was great from start to finish! The food was fresh and tasted amazing. Thanks for being kind, and calling to remind me of my order, though no one realized I was standing in the store. Lol I was late but whomever was there knows what I'm talking about. From bagels, to scones, to huge amazing sandwiches there is not one thing here that isn’t absolutely fantastic. Not only that but the staff and owner are so friendly and the store itself is so clean! This place is a gem within our community!

The staff here is incredibly friendly and so eager to help. Every single person we interacted with was so kind. Genuinely cannot oversell how sweet the staff is here. The sandwich bread was fresh and delicious, my husband said that the filled to order cannoli was the best he’s had in Michigan and he’s from New York so that’s quite high praise. We’ve been searching for a good Italian deli and this is certainly in the top three. Worth the 30 minute drive. No doubt we will be back.

I’ve heard such great things about their Italian Subs so I had to give them a try. I ordered the Italian Sub with Hot Peppers and I think I was in heaven! The Italian Dressing is what really blew me away, the Veggie to Meat ratio was perfect, and everything was so fresh. I was in and out in 10 minutes, and the service was very personable and attentive. Small place but definitely worth the hype!

So I'm a big sub snob. Admittedly, my favorite sub in Metro-Detroit is Ventimiglia's. That IS the standard by which I judge all others. I ordered the Italian sub with hot giardiniera. It had a very generous amount of Italian deli meat. The bread was very good and home made, and all-in-all it's a very high-quality sandwich. Did Ventimiglia's loose it's status as my number one favorite? No, I still think it's the best in town - with the right balance of everything. Having said that, Angela's is very high on the list though. Next time I will order it with light dressing as I thought the dressing overpowered my sandwich ... it had way too much vinegar for my taste. It's an easy fix, I would order with very light dressing next time, and maybe add tomatoes and onion. Home made bread is a nice touch. Great job Angela's.

Delicious sandwiches and amazing treats.

The bakery itself is adorable. The sub was unbelievably good, the bread is top notch. The cashier was beyond helpful and helped me decide what sub would be to my likings. Plan on going back so many times.

Update- Back in town after we moved away in 2020. Was in today, ordered a couple subs and sweets- there was a hair in my sub and the sweets tasted like they have been previously frozen, come to find out the worker there, a girl Adriana told me they were and that they don’t make them there but have them shipped and frozen from other bakeries! She came off rude to me and seemed like she just wanted to rush me out. Very disappointed this is not the same place is was in 2020. Will not be coming back. update- she told me all the cake is frozen in the back, you guys guy them frozen and just put it together. Doesn’t make up for the rudeness either.

Excellent sandwiches and cannoli. Tried the Italian, and the nine-thirteen Vaughn, both are awesome but that nine-thirteen Vaughn is amazing!

Just lost a loyal customer. I've had sandwiches made on rye before and today I was refused. I will not be returning and I will not be recommending to anyone ever again. I offered to buy the entire loaf of bread as I have before without issue. I also frequent and tip! for their regular sandwiches. No longer interested in giving my money to this establishment. I can 100% say I have had sandwiches made on rye. I called in the order and took them to my grandparents because they can't eat the hard bread. Nice knowing you ✌️

Absolutely phenomenal. Best sub I've ever had. Better than Ventimiglias in my opinion. The bread really seals the deal. Definitely a must have if you're a sub person or a foodie like myself! I got the Italian with hot peppers and the Oakland & Arch. I'll definitely be back to try their other options.

Absolutely blown away by the sandwiches here! The staff was very friendly, definitely will be back for the sandwich and chicken lemon rice soup! The apple fritter though personally didn’t taste fresh but the sandwich made up for it amazing spot.

Seriously, how did I not know about this place until now? The real deal. Superb sandwich. Don't take my word for it, try it yourself. If you don't know or care about top quality meats, etc, don't bother. You won't appreciate it. I actually can't wait to go back, and as we all know, it's not really like that most places anymore. Five stars from me for sure.

Found this place randomly online, needed a quick drive/option for lunch. The Italian sub was VERY good. The staff was nice and welcoming. Cute little place, just wish they had more seating available so I could have sat down and ate there but not a big deal

We purchased the Italian sandwich,was lacking meat &cheese and way over dressed and soggy.The roll could use more integrity,I ate mine and my wife had one bite of hers and was dissatisfied.It is all that we have tried there but probably won't return.

Just had an amazing experience at Angela's Italian Deli and Bakery – the sandwiches are a flavor explosion, and the bakery smells like heaven. Had an excellent Italian sub. The bread was fresh and tasty. Hard shell, soft interior. Premium meats were used and fresh ingredients. Definitely will be back.

Everything about Angela’s is amazing! Beautiful selection of frozen foods to take home and the cannolis are very tasty. But the bulk of my love goes to the sandwiches! The bread is amazing and each week they have a new special that has yet to disappoint. I haven’t venture into the breakfast and sweets (besides cannolis) but I imagine once I do, I’ll love this place even more.

The subs are the best as well as the baked goods .....Angela's is doing it right.

This was my second visit. My first visit I remember seeing a beautiful young woman and her smile made my day. It had been a little bit since last time I stopped by. I had a turkey sub. It was pretty good. I do think they should work on the menu. I have trouble figuring out what I want when I visit. Still good.

Best apple fritters I have ever had!

Their subs are phenomenal and priced very reasonably, especially considering how expensive everything is nowadays. I work at the liquor store across the street and ever since they've opened I have not once stepped foot inside of a Subway, Jimmy Johns, Tubbys, etc,. Angela's only uses quality ingredients and you can easily distinguish good from bad on the first bite. Employees are always so friendly too. Stay away from the cookies and canollis though- YOU WILL GET ADDICTED!

This was our first time at this bakery and on my gosh this place was 10/10! I fell inlove the second we walked in and even more from the lady who helped us. The girl had long braided brown hair. She's was great!

This place is amazing. Hard working family behind the counters at all times. The sandwiches are substantial and phenomenal. If they have the cannoli filled donut, definitely get it. It slaps.

I have gotten bread, cookies and sandwiches from this place. They do an outstanding job. Fresh ingredients. Fresh food. The bread is always great. You can tell that there is a lot of passion behind what they do. And by the way, did I say that the chocolate chip cookies were delicious???

March 2023 - last couple of times I came here my wife picked up the food. I came in today and very nice woman helped me with my food. I got the sandwich of the week (March 23) and the wolverine. Very good sandwiches and they will fill you up. Next time I need to order lunch meat from them. December 2021 - very good place to go for sandwiches. I have had 3 from here and the Wolverine is the best, turkey and then Italian. My wife has ordered the cinnamon bread from them. Also very good and you can order some other pastries, donuts and cookies. Thank you for a great lunch! August 2021 - tried this place for the 1st time and they make a great sandwich. I had the 4th Street Wolverine and my wife had the Blue House Turkey. The sandwich was big and very good. I highly recommend the 4th street wolverine. However, they do sell deli items and the bakery items looked good. I might try them the next time I am there.

Ordered takeout - I called the moment they start taking to-go orders for the sandwiches and it was about a 20 minute wait as they were waiting on the bread to come out of the oven (trust me, I will wait lol). I ordered two sandwiches and they were both absolutely fantastic. Wish they were a little bit bigger for the price, but it was still a great sized sandwich and the flavors were absolutely amazing. They also have a full-fledged little grocery store inside, a ton of fresh pastries/bagels/breads. Staff was very friendly. Cannot wait to go again.

I used to love the donuts here! Unfortunately they have significantly reduced the number of donuts they offer to just apple fritters and cannoli filled. Both are still delicious, but they made so many others that were fantastic also. I think they are doing more bagels now and if I try them I may move my rating back up to 5. And I do need to try one of their sandwiches again, those have been delicious when I have had them also. I will certainly be back again, but will be headed elsewhere for more variety of donuts. If I want an apple fritter this is the spot to go still!

This place is great. All of their soups are amazing. Every one of their sandwiches I have ever gotten is on point. Everything is so fresh. They use to have donuts which sadly they no longer produce, but they are now making my other favorite round item, bagels. The bagels are so fresh and delicious. Their cookies, pastries and other treats cannot be beat. They also have fresh sliced deli meats and cheese. Go there now do not hesitate.

I came in here upon suggestion from a friend and I am a forever customer! The Italian Sub is amazing and the Sandwich of the Week (SOW) selection has never disappointed. The first sub I had didnt even make it home.. i pulled over and ate it in the car it was that good! The deli selection is on point and the fresh pastries.. oh my goodness to die for! This place makes my family very happy!!

First time trying this place. Picked up an Italian sub and cannoli. Staff is extremely nice and helpful. The house dressing for the sub is excellent. Bread is the right mix of soft and hard. They should add tomatoes as a topping for the Italian. Sub is a little plain, but the dressing makes up for it. Reason for the star off is the cannoli isn’t that great. I love a good cannoli. This one isn’t sweet. Without the chocolate chips, it would probably taste like chalk. Wouldn’t buy ever again. Update 1/3/23: Tried the sub with tomatoes. See picture. Will never get again. Marinated cherry tomatoes. Looking for large plain tomatoes. Disappointed. Sub is still great and will continue to buy.

Sweet baby Jesus the food is delicious. The dressing they use on the sandwiches is slap ya mama good. If you don’t like this place something is wrong with you.

Ordered the Italian sandwich and minchia lemme tell you, it’s beautiful. Everything’s fresh like back home in Sicily. This ain’t your average fregatura bakery truss me. And it doesn’t hurt to have a couple a broads in there that are easy on the occhi’s either. A few Bella Ragazzas you know what I mean. Ok settle down. Ciao

Great meats, cheeses, and baked goods- and the prices are just as good! My mom took me there for the first time a month ago and I already look forward to going to Angela's whenever my mortadella runs out. The prices on their cheeses and meats there are better than the nearby Kroger's! Love this place, 10 out of 10!

Excellent bakery. They have donuts, fresh baked bread, cakes, cookies and a variety of other sweets. My favorite thing is the sub sandwiches. The subs are made with house made bread and are made with quality meats and ingredients. I usually go with the sub of the week since they are always very good and often have inventive flavor combos.
