Fantastic, friendly store! Amazing selection of foodstuffs for a small place. I can't say enough about the hot sandwiches!!!!! Sooo good, but be careful, they are messy!

A great little place to pick up necessities. Fairly comprehensive selection of small grocery and local/gourmet products including beer, wine, cheese, meats, and veggies. The deli is also very good, with weekly international specialty meals available. A little pricey for some items, but a solid selection and friendly, helpful staff. Good coffee too. A good place to run into your neighbors and have a chat.

The staff at The Genny Craftsbury are always kind, helpful and friendly. They greet you as you enter, offer assistance with shopping, help carry heavy items out, even order special requested items (if they can get them). They just go all out with customer service (which we just don't see enough of anymore). I would also recommend trying some of their amazing food. The baked ziti and mac-n-cheese are our favorites. Thank you Genny, you're greatly appreciated.

This store has the second best baked goods and homemade sandwiches in Vermont!!!! The only place better is the same owners 10 minutes north in Albany "gennys". Unbelievable

Nice historic old general store complete with the old wooden floors, old front door etc. Great variety of goods inside with friendly staff.

Maybe if there was one more cult flag or sign thrown in your face everywhere you look, you could forget that the entire store is sub par and overpriced. Run of the mill dump.

Saweeeeeeeeet! This place is great. We came through on a ride and found Delicious sandwiches (try the bahn mi) and support friendly people. Lovely little picnic area too enjoy the amazing food.

Great assortment of first class food and sundries. The “build your own”sandwiches are delicious -especially the avocado, tomato and tofu on whole grain bread. The staff is attentive and friendly- Sunny is a sheer delight and lovely. Picnic benches are available outside to eat lunch. Perfect place to stop for a good meal. A must!

It might not have everything but it's got everything you need! A great spot in the NEK to stock up on your sundries or to grab a hand-made sandwich. It's like stepping back in time.

One of my favorite places to visit for a delicious snack and some locally made pottery, earrings and mm more! They also have a vast wine selection and deli.

Literally everything is good there! And affordable. Everything is homemade! I personally love the beef sandwich with the mushrooms. Oh also the peanut butter bar is amazing. You can also find a lot of local products at a good price. And you have another one in Albany, VT

What an absolute GEM this store is!! Everything you may need, all under one roof. Friendly, helpful staff, too. We got lunch there today, sandwiches were SO GOOD, and you will not find better prices for lunch. Definitely a big highlight in our stay in Craftsbury.

What an amazing diamond in the rough. Amazing homemade food and decent prices on most of their groceries as the only convenience store in Albany. The service and people are always so friendly and great. Not to mention Genny has played a huge part in the war on hunger as this little store had helped me and my friends in our time of unemployment partaking in the everyone eats program. I highly suggest the Vito, salumi, smashburger, and poutine. Don't forget to try their yummy desserts!

Nice general store with a range of foods, snacks, produce and bottles. Appeals to visitors and those with more disposable income. The quality matches the prices and the staff are very nice indeed. Fun to visit for all ages.

This store has changed so much over the years it is still a great place to go for food but it is a little expensive and geared more towards organic and healthy which is good and most of the food is locally grown it always has stuff from the local farmers in the summer and it's always fresh but a little high priced on some things and I think they need more of a soda selection but other than that it's a great place to eat and a great place for good conversation and good conversation

During my summer in Craftsbury the general store was one of my favorite spots. Great vegan options like their bahn mi! Plus they feature local artists, I got a beautiful set of earrings there. I'd recommend this store to anyone!

We enjoyed this store so much for the local vibe, the local flavor (best strawberries I've ever had in my life), beer, and clothing. This store has everything you would need.

If you are old enough to remember old fashioned country general stores then you will love this store! Friendly staff. Local products. All around good place!

Great sandwiches and picnic tables.

Lots of yummy salads and fab green grocery. Farm meats and microbeers.I drive 45 mins. just to get their best ever kale salad. It has the original double front door with a creaky latch. Perfect mix of old time architecture and specialty foods. Crafts too! A definite stop on anyone tour.☆☆☆☆☆

Wednesday Globetrotting Meals are a real treat and it's been great to have other grocery items added to our orders by phone to avoid in-person shopping during this pandemic.

Our favorite lunch stop after biking or skiing at the outdoor center. Their takeout window makes pickup easy and the food is great!

Delicious take out sandwiches! Highly recommend the BLT and the Bahn Mi. Ordering through the takeout window was quick and easy. Had lunch at the picnic tables set up outside. Fun to wait on the front porch while people swing through!

Terrific grocery store and takeout foods. My grilled cheese sandwich was fantastic, plump with great Vermont cheese. Staff was working hard with the continual arrival of local customers. Easy to find on Hwy. 14 and just south of Craftsbury Common - another wonderful place to stop and take a break from driving through a beautiful region of Vermont.

Small store, small round tables, but great pizza, some special varieties!

Such nice and honest people. Good food and atmosphere. The gentlemen who opened the store a few weeks ago on a Sunday during a storm was very nice and helpful when my car broke down. He was the only one in town willing to help me. Telling all my friends ❤️

Love it! Historic old colonial building housing a true country store frequented by locals and visitors alike. Lots of local goodies and a full service deli pizza shop on site.

This is a thoroughly delightful enterprise. Not only are they very nice people, they are enterprising as well. We took advantage of their take out dinners this summer. The tikka masala wraps were delicious.

As quintessential “general stores” don’t get much better than this one! It is the place to get the local news from around the area, fill a growler with local beer, find Heady Topper(!), get delicious breakfast burritos cooked fresh on the grill, get fresh produce, local meats, cheese...I could go on. This place is great.

Emily, the owner has done a marvelous job over the years creating this little gem of a typical upscale Vermont general store. From bulk foods to gourmet in store prepared ready to eat meals and around the world changing specials over special drinks and burger nights on the patio, it's a location not to be missed if you're cruising around in the North East Kingdom of Vermont. You get a regular breakfast sandwich just as easy as a great selection of beers and wines alongside local meats, cheeses and not to forget the dozens of pizzas that are churned out from the pizza deck or the huge tasty grinders, wraps or sandwiches....just do yourself a favor and go.

A very well stocked, clean, general store with lively staff and customers. Excellent customer service and amazing home made food and local grocery items. We stayed att the AirBNB upstairs.

The Craftsbury General Store is a wonderful, small, homey place for basic groceries, great deli food, hot coffee, bakery items, Vermont products, , cheeses, health foods like yogurts and Kombucha, craft beers, wine and crafts, and herval type remedies.. They make delicious sandwiches, great pizza, bakery treats and breakfast items. If you are staying in the area and need to grab milk and basic groceries - as well as some great treats and food for take out - - or you are passing through and want a meal on -the-go - coffee and treats - This is a great place. They also have a GREAT CATERING service and can work with you for family gatherings, weddings, groups, etc. - The staff is always friendly and helpful!

The Craftsbury General Store catered our wedding and our experience was nothing short of exceptional! Emily took all of the time I needed and answered all of my questions. She was patient and kind. The food was phenomenal, hot and ready on time. The catering staff were professional and helpful. I would recommend these ladies to anyone planning an event!
