I HAVE BEEN TO ANGELOS DOZENS OF TIMES. FOOD IS ALWAYS EXCELLENT, SERVICE IS USUALLY FAST, ATMOSPHERE IS VERY NICE AND INVITING, PRICES ARE GREAT. I HAVE BEEN ALL OVER THE COUNTRY OVER THE YEARS EATING AT HUNDREDS OF RECOMMENDED RESTAURANTS AND ANGELOS CONTINUES TO BE IN MY TOP 5 EVER.

Great locally owned historic restaurant! The food is very affordable and fresh. Everyone there was so friendly, and the donuts given out at the end of the meal are to die for! I recommend getting the salad and breadsticks to start.

It's just a good old fashioned Italian restaurant. I had the chicken parmigiana and it was amazing. If in the Lewistown area I recommend it.

Their lasgna is so good! Add to that their delicious bread sticks and salad with their house dressing and you have a very filling meal. Their portions are enough for two meals! I love the service and friendly atmosphere.

We had a lovely dinner at this classic American Italian restaurant. Breadsticks were hot and yummy. Ask for the house salad dressing--an interesting oil based concoction. Drinks and food were inexpensive. Just three minutes drive from the Amtrak station.

I got the lasagna with Italian sausage, salad and bread sticks. Oh and we can't forget the donut. Everything was delicious. Ready to go back for more. I love the atmosphere. It's laid back and friendly.

We love Angelo's. It is our go-to restaurant in the Lewistown area. They have a very large menu, they always have a special, and the food is incredibly consistent over the years.

Excellent food and excellent service

We were a party of 5, there to celebrate my boyfriend and his sister's birthdays. We sat in the bar area, which meant the bartender served us. I wish I remembered his name, because he was amazing!! He provided such a wonderful service. He explained the dinner and drink specials, and everything came out hot and delicious. We never had to ask for anything. This is always the restaurant my boyfriend and his family like to go to, and it was my 3rd time there... definitely not my last!! My boyfriend ordered the steak and said it's the best he's had in a long time. Their breadsticks and salad with the house dressing can't be beat. Highly recommend!!

Angelo's, what can I say? This restaurant has been one of our favorites for years. The food doesn't matter what you order it's always spot on! I highly recommend this restaurant for a great date night!

Last time I ordered a Steak Super Salad with the House Dressing and it was literally Phenomenal ~!!! I mean it was fabulous! It had cheese, green olives (which really gave it a kick) and it was such a large portion that I ate as much as I could, (I was really hungry) and I still had 3/4 of the rectangular plate to take home! It even came with two of their scrumptious bread sticks which really hit the spot! I highly recommend coming here whether you are dining alone, as a couple, friends or a family! Everyone is welcome and it’s a great comfortable atmosphere! My daughter swears that the Chicken Parmigiana HERE, is the absolute best she’s ever had and she’s ordered it from many different restaurants and declares that ANGELO’S IS THE BEST! She also claims that their Chicken Alfredo is absolutely delicious as well! Salad and Breadsticks are exceptional too!

The waitress, was very good,I have always gotten great meals ,but for some reason this time was not good bread was not done as well, the salad and they are famous for their Salads way to much dressing,I'm sorry Angelo's didn't like this time and that's the frist

Great spot for Italian. The salad and breadsticks are legendary in Mifflin County. They also have a nice selection of beers. The restaurant is very comfortable and the staff is outstanding!

One of the top things to do at Angelo's is to upgrade your toss to an Angelo's salad. It comes with the best breadsticks. (Or you can order them a la carte.) Fantastic homemade gravy. Very enjoyable!

Angelo's has been around for as long as I can remember, and they have never changed the taste of their food. The atmosphere is nice, the wait staff is absolutely wonderful, and the food is amazing.

We've always enjoyed Angelo's, pretty much a hometown original, came in for one of the legendary salads, great as always!

I had the manicotti with meatballs! It was absolutely fantastic. The sauce and bread sticks are incredible 😋 😍 Also they have Hawstone Hollow Wine which I was very excited to learn. The red raspberry wine was delicious ❤

A locals food favorite!! Started and owned by the same family. Their homemade salad dressing is the best. And the spaghetti wheel and breadsticks are better than your grandma's!! If you visit Mifflin County and you don't eat at Angelo's... you missed out!!

First time here and it was a great experience. This place has the best service and great food. Our waitress was above and beyond at her job. We will be back. For great Italian food and great service,check this place out.

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. Very cozy atmosphere and delicious food. You can't go wrong with an Angelo Salad with the house dressing, and their Whiskey Sours are fantastic!

I love Angelo's food.. BUT the prices are RIDICULOUS!!

My food was not good I ordered the lasagna and it did not have any meat in it! Whoever heard of meatless lasagna? It was also stuck to my plate, like it was left in the microwave to long. Also bread sticks did not come with the meal, they were separate.

No trip home is complete without a visit to Angelos!! Family owned and operated for generations, it just gets better with age(experience). Simple Italian Faire, but always delicious. Their signature Angelo's Salad and breadsticks are a must. The "secret " family dressing is the best Italian dressing anywhere, and now they've bottled it so you can take it home .

Intolerably long wait for table. They do not take reservations, but strongly should consider it.

Food was fresh and good. Highly recommended trying the amazing breadsticks! Booths are comfortable, nice small intimate restaurant. A word of warning though, there may be a bit of a wait for a table on a Friday night (very popular restaurant).

This place is not cheap but you get your every cent's worth. The atmosphere is classy, so if you're wearing stained shorts and faded t-shirt, you'll probably feel out of place. They have a new "specials" menu every day, so you'll always have interesting choices, and the food is delicious.

The atmosphere was great. for the most part the food was okay I thought it was a little pricey and I thought that my garlic parmesan spaghetti that I had was a little bit dry but the fish that I had was good the salad was just a plain salad with just tomatoes and lettuce nothing else and other than that it was a pretty decent place The atmosphere is nice and the restaurant looks nice inside

I went here yesterday (Friday) evening for the first time to get take out and the man (I assume the owner) was such a sweetie from our brief interaction! And the food was AMAZING!!! I'll have to go here more often when I come into Lewistown 😄

A great restaurant steeped in local food tradition. Superb Italian food, and a rustic/vintage bar area. The staff is friendly, the food is good, and the prices are terrific. A good wine selection, as well as bottled beer. The Chicken Parm is a family favorite as is the spaghetti wheel.

Famous Angelo's, I love coming here. Having dinner here is mixing good food with warm memories from my childhood. My grandfather taught me a trick here: put 2 pats of butter into the hot red sauce. Mix it around and you get the smoothest creamiest tomato sauce you ever tasted. I do it every time and think of Grandpa. God bless Angelo's.

Food and service was wonderful!

Service was good,food was good but our order has been wrong the last 2 times my family has been there.A favorite for us is the breadsticks with sauce and Angelo's salad.
