Cute little coffee shop. Love the atmosphere and the ambiance. Great place to work at or meet with friends. The Foxy Brown Latte is EVERYTHING!!!!

I’m normally hesitant to try new coffee places because it rarely meets my expectations. But as soon as I walked in, I felt the energy. It made me feel like I was at family’s house. The drink being amazing is the icing on top! I tried the dirty chai, iced with almond milk & vanilla.

Beautiful space & people. Menu items were pleasing. Must take a selfie in the bathroom. Bag of coffee beans is affordable and staff will grind them for you. Artwork and books for sale. A feel good coffee shop!

The entire place is decorated with Black culture. It brings back great memories and is a good space for conversations. The atmosphere is very warm and neo-soulish, and the owner is as sweet as pie.

This is the best place to get your coffee. The place has a very cool vibe and is very welcoming to all. The coffee is great! I recommend the Iced Foxy with Oat Milk!! Archive is a relaxing place to sit and work or hang with friends to catch up.

I really like this coffee. The grounds are different. I really like them. It's delicious. I'd love to start every morning with this cup of coffee. I got the Mocha visiting from Alaska. I recommend trying her coffee it's unique.

I found this place on instagram and I decided to go see for myself. The decor is so cute I love the concept of the place. The coffee was good as well they had some cute music playing softly in the background setting the mood. I'd definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves a good cafe.

The absolute best place to get a cup of coffee! The decor and music that they play always gives me a feeling of nostalgia! They also have a great selection of books, vinyls and other items that any collector of memorabilia will adore. The coffee is always fresh and the service is always top tier! You can't go wrong ordering the "Foxy Brown" or "Wildflower" drinks.

One of the few coffee shops in Charlotte that knows how to make a cortado. Great atmosphere and service too. I’ll be back!

Top 5 Dirty Chai Lattes in Charlotte...maybe even Top 3! (And I've tried plenty 😂) It's smaller inside, so not much space to stay and linger for long, but the decor is everything and I enjoyed all the Black history 💚

This was my first visit. I was hesitant about trying anything since I don't drink teas or coffee. Owner suggested I try "Wildflower" I was a little hesitant but really enjoyed it!!

The coffee was very good. I had a drip coffee and sat for a while. There was a musician setting up and I stayed a little while. I am not sure if that happens every Sunday but between the nice lady making coffee and the atmosphere I enjoyed this coffee shop.

This is my favorite coffee, latte and refresher spot in town. The Service is great, the atmosphere and conversations is like non-other. The Dirty Chai Latte is the best drink on the menu in my opinion.

When Archive first opened, I took my co-worker with me after I visited and she cried. She felt so full with happiness and belonging. Archive evokes just that and more. Being at Archive, brings up feelings of nostalgia, happiness, joy, belonging, and pride. Every inch of Archive is perfectly curated, from the front door to the bathroom. I love that it's in west Charlotte! I love sharing this gem with my friends. An iced dirty chai or the foxy brown (hot or iced) are my go to drinks. Bonus points: The owner is super dope, kind, creative, and personable! She recently had an exhibit at the Mint Museum in Uptown and I thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciated it!

Visiting Archive CLT wasn't just a trip to get a VERY GOOD, EXPERTLY PULLED, AND PERFECTLY PORPOTIONED HOT CARAMEL LATTE; it was a beautiful demonstration of the natural bonds in our community, and the many ways we love, embrace, and make family of everyone who wishes to give and receive great energy and create authentic connections. I'm a recent transplant, and this place immediately became my new living room. Upon walking in you'll be surround by vintage memorabilia celebrating black roots and culture, and most likely be greeted by a friendly and vibrant group of people who want to know your name, how you're doing, and where you've been! You could be invited to sit and chat about new city happenings, or historic people, places, and events that will endear you to the Queen's City in ways you hadn't yet considered. I was enriched by my time with regulars Jackie, Ken, and Chris today, and just can't possibly scream how beautiful a soul the owner is! Please be intentional about making the trip and inquring about all the community development work planned in partnership with Archive. I promise, you won't regret it!!! What a unique space! Thank you to the owner for creating it. I think people overuse the term "a vibe"... and it takes away from a space like this that is exactly A WHOLE VIBE. Lovely staff, amazing art and vintage items to purchase, even the other clientele were awesome to chat with. We got the Foxy Brown Latte and Feeling Good hot tea and loved them both. I would definitely visit again. Enderly coffee roasts their coffee beans and supporting local businesses, who are also supporting local businesses makes our heart grow three sizes bigger (scientific fact ... look it up).

This is the perfect example of coffee shop. It has culture, good people, and good coffee. It's even better that it's black-owned and operated. The staff have been fantastic, chill, and welcoming. Been here twice, and have brought friends back and will continue to do so. Definitely worth stopping to see it.

The music, the books, the menu...it's all a tiny vibe! And the Vegan Chai Poundcake is worth a trip back all by itself!

The chai iced latter was the best I’ve ever had. The DJ played great music on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Perfect day to be in the cafe. My only critique is more comfortable chairs. They were all hard no cushions for back or bottom.

I love this place and the fact that it's a black owned business. Not only can you get coffee, tea, sandwiches, and pastries but the ambiance is absolutely amazing. They also have a wide variety of books to choose from that you can purchase. This is definitely one of my favorite spots in the city.

Received disappointing customer service after we had informed the barista it was our first time visiting and how we were excited to try their one of their signature tea drinks of which we paid happily and proceeded to wait while enjoying the atmosphere while smelling the enriched coffee bean aroma. However, after we noted it had been 15 minutes we checked in on the order and noted the barista was very busy and assumed our order would surely be ready momentarily, however that was not the case in fact our order after 30 minutes of waiting was noted to have been totally omitted by the barista at which we was totally surprised at this revelation and immediately requested a refund. The seemingly manager or team lead tried to correct the problem, however we were shocked at the disrespect and proceeded with the refund request. In the end we were looking forward to establishing a long lasting customer relationship as well as offering recommendations to family and friends. The customer service received was unexpected and highly disappointing and add insult to injury the barista chimed in after the refund was being processed and say " it was for 2, right"?...unbelievable! So if the barista remembered that info of the order, why did they not fulfill the order? Just unbelievable and never again! In the end we were redeemed at Starbucks 🌟

You can feel the vibe the moment you open the door. Archive is a vibrant and artsy coffee shop, that overflows with culture. Black culture! From vintage magazines and photos, to Black authors, to an playlist. You get all of this before you even order your beverage. I ordered their house drip coffee which was very tasty. The coffee has more of a fruity taste and was very smooth. They also sell used book and have an impressive selection. If you are in the Beatties Ford area, I would definitely give it a try.

Amazing local coffee shop and archive/vintage store dedicated to Black history and culture. The owner Cheryse is simultaneously one of the kindest and most powerful entrepreneurs I've met. The coffee shop offers lattes and pastries, but more importantly, a space to uplift the artists, authors, advocates, and historians across decades of Black history. Incredible collection of magazines, books, posters, music and more. A must visit in Charlotte!
