I was surprised with Bundt Babies for my birthday! They were ABSOLUTELY delicious! I was thoroughly impressed with the size and the flavors. The packaging was extremely professional yet personal! My Aunt Inge, who placed the order long distance to insure I would receive a surprise at work for my birthday, was impressed with the customer service the bakery provided. As someone who lives in Indian Trail, I am thrilled to find a local small business quality bakery. The only disappointment was after I ate the last Bundt Baby!

Thank you, Denise! The caramel cake you prepared for my mom’s birthday was absolutely delicious. Everyone loved it! It was so moist and the frosting was so light and fluffy and not overly sweet. It was just PERFECT! We cannot wait try more of your wonderfully sweet creations!

Had the opportunity to try Sweet & Cozy Bakery at a local concert event in downtown Matthews. The treats were delicious (tried the butterscotch walnut brownie and the chocolate mini bundt). The presentation and packaging were detailed nicely for just my simple order! Great attention to detail and the fresh baked goods were wonderful.

I have never been disappointed with any sweets I have eaten from Sweet & Cozy! Besides getting them at local eateries and farmer’s markets, I have also special ordered a cake and lemon bars. Besides the quality of food, Denise also has fantastic customer service, reliable and friendly!

We ordered a German Chocolate Bundt Cake with extra frosting, and it was ridiculously moist and delicious! This was probably the best cake I had in years. My daughter as you can see couldn’t keep her hands off the cake! Denise was a joy to deal with, and her customer service was superb. Best experience ever! I was introduced to Denise by mutual friend. I live outside the area. She she was easy to communicate with. She was able to take my ideas and turn them into a wonderful cake. It had an amazing presentation. Everyone said it was super moist and delicious. Denise was able to deliver the cake on the day of celebration. Her pricing was more than fair. Overall, it was the best experience and I would use Sweet and Cozy for any occasion.

LOVE Sweet and Cozy Bakery❤️ Denise is super sweet and her baking is delicious! I have ordered several times before, most recently for a bridal shower. I chose lemon bars, carrot cake bundt babies and creme brulee bars. They were a huge hit and everyone loved them all, especially the lemon bars. Everything comes so beautifully packaged. I love this bakery! I am a vegan, and Denise made my items vegan for me. Her carrot cake is the best I have ever tasted. We also tried the chocolate bundt cake and loved it!

I have only had the Gluten Free Oatmeal pie cookie. It was absolutely delicious! The owner, Denise, takes pride in her work and her Bakery. I have ordered from here for work meetings and holidays and it is always soooo good. My favorite item is probably the pumpkin snickerdoodle cookies which I always have to hide from my son and husband so they don't eat them all! Not to mention the owner is so very sweet and accommodating when I need it delivered. I love supporting a local business like hers!

They loved them; plus, Denise was in constant contact to ensure time of delivery - to include a follow-up email with a picture to let me know the sweets arrived at their destination. Sweets from heaven! My whole family absolutely love anything Denise makes. Not only are her sweets delicious but they also come in Gluten Free, dairy free and many other versions which makes my day! Being able to enjoy her treats when my dietary needs are so restricted is definitely a plus!

Such an epic disappointment. I got my son’s 10th birthday cake here. What an utter disaster. It was 1/4 inch think and looked like it was made by a 3 year old. Dry and disgusting. Never. Again.

A great experience overall! I gave Denise only a few days notice about making a cake for my wife's birthday. However, she was able to do a fantastic job on short notice and the lemon raspberry cake she made was excellent.

Denise made a German chocolate cake for my dad's 95th birthday. It was delicious! Most German chocolate cakes are too sweet and have too much coconut. This one was perfect! I like that she makes the cakes from scratch with flour, sugar, etc. and no artificial ingredients or ingredients I can't pronounce. Definitely my new favorite bakery!

Amazing. I’d give 100 stars if I could. The oatmeal crème pie is classic and so so delicious. I’ve also had the carrot cake and it was amazing. Sweet and Cosy is the best in the area!

I haven’t found any great gluten and dairy free cakes locally until now! I had their strawberry shortcake—it was moist, flavorful and delicious! I can’t wait to try more offerings!

Oh my gosh, where do I start? My husbands birthday is tomorrow but I wanted to celebrate on Saturday. I texted on Friday asking if it was doable! I was able to pick up the cake (she offered to deliver) the next day at 2 pm. Surprised the hubby! Denise also added a few tasters which were AMAZING! Everything we received was delicious!! It is definitely made with love! I ordered the lemon raspberry cake. The presentation was beautiful and the taste was phenomenal. The little extra add ins were delicious. The red velvet Oreo bars are literally to die for!!! 10 out of 10 highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!

The GF lemon bars were delicious! You would never in a million years think that they were gluten free! The lemon flavor was perfect! The butter toffee Oreo cookies were also so good!! My whole family enjoyed them both!!

Appreciate a GF option. The pecan bar has nice topping. I’d prefer a little less base since GF doughs are typically a little Sandy/grainy. I would buy it again… and maybe have it with a dollop of butter pecan ice cream😋

Amazing goodies and amazing customer service! We picked up one of these sweet treats at The Union Exchange and were given the wrong one, but didn’t realize it until we got home. My husband can’t have chocolate, so I messaged Denise to ask if what we were given had chocolate in it (and explained the situation). She confirmed that it did and then proceeded to box up and DELIVER US A REPLACEMENT TO OUR HOUSE not even 15 minutes later! She seriously went above and beyond and we were so, so appreciative. The one we were mistakenly given (Creme Brûlée Toffee bar) and the correct replacement (Butterscotch Crunch bar) were both incredibly tasty! We now go out of our way to buy one of her delicious creations whenever we’re at The Union Exchange. Thank you, Denise!

Every time I go to my colleges farmers market this company’s owner is always there and has the best sweets no matter what sweet you get it’s always sweet and cozy especially with a glass of lemonade

I have had the pleasure of trying several of the delicious treats, Sweet & Cozy Bakery makes. From the brownies to the oatmeal cookies to speciality cakes, everything is absolutely delicious. I ordered the Lemon Raspberry cake for a birthday celebration & the lemon to raspberry ratio was perfection. The service is phenomenal. I needed a little of a rush order & Denise did such and amazing job of making it work. She is so kind, gracious & helpful! We are looking forward to our next S&CB treat!

What started off as “I’ll try just a bite” (of a crème brûlée toffee bar) has quickly escalated into a full on addiction! And Little Debbie can go sit somewhere bc she has NOTHING on Sweet & Cozy’s oatmeal pies! The soft oatmeal cookies and fluffy marshmallow cream filling—you can really taste the love baked right in. You seriously won’t be able to stop with “just a bite”

The 3 layer carrot cake I ordered was absolutely delicious! My wife and I both enjoy carrot cake for special occasions, and both agreed this was one of the best we've had. The cake itself was moist, fluffy, and had the perfect combination of spices and rich flavors. The cream cheese icing was the best I've ever had! Denise was super nice, professional, and her price was very reasonable. Definitely recommend!

Sweet & Cozy Bakery is amazingly delicious!!! I found this hidden gem late one night searching for bakeries online and I took a risk and placed an order. To my astonishment, the order was hand-delivered to my house the very next day. The owner Denise even text me just to make sure I knew my order was delivered because it was supposed to rain that day, I mean where do you get customer service like this anymore? When I got home, I was blown away with the presentation of my order and the quality of the baked goods. I bit into a cinnamon roll cookie, and I truly believe Angels started singing lol. I am one of those people who never leaves a review, but I just had to tell everyone how incredible this place is. Please try it, you will not have any regrets.

These were the most tastiest well balanced rich sweet treats I’ve consumed since the early 2000’s. Highly recommended! (crème brûlée toffee bar, Red velvet Oreo, chocolate chunky chip)

Tried a couple of baked goods at the OMB Christmas Shops and being a home baker myself, I'm really picky about my goodies. The butter pecan bar was to die for and I'm upset I only bought one. Savored it on the road trip home 1 bite an hour until gone! :)

I live in California but ordered a beautiful Russian Honey Cake from Sweet & Cozy Bakery for a coworker who lives in NC! Ordering a cake for delivery was the perfect way for our office to celebrate her new US Citizenship! Denise was accommodating, understanding, and a joy to work with. Ho. Ly. Cow! Better yet, holy red velvet chocolate chip goodness! My hubby and I went to the fall festival held in Waxhaw and met these bakers extraordinaire. The moment the free samples hit our tastebuds, we knew we had found something special. I got a lemon square and hubs got the red velvet chocolate chip amazing thing i think was a brownie. You know how you go searching for something sweet that is really well crafted? So often all you can find, especially at restaurants, is frozen fare. THESE baked good are what you have been searching for. The flyer says "Self taught baker providing comfort and a glimpse of nostalgia in each baked good". Absolute truth. Like right out of my grandmother's kitchen. But better. (Sorry, Gandma.) I am so happy to have found a source for excellence that I would be proud to lie and say I made myself. ;)

My job brought this bakery in as a celebration of women owned business'. So many wonderful treats to choose from. I chose the Snickerchip Bar and it was SO GOOD. Took the Oatmeal Marshmallow pie home to my son and he devoured it!! LOL This is a MUST try for anyone that loves a sweet treat for a little comfort :-)

A dear friend sent me this box of deliciousness as a new job congratulations and I was beyond impressed. First of all, pinwheels. Need I say more? Okay, I will say more. An all time favorite that my grandma used to make and these were right with her on the taste. So so good. I have heard such great things about this bakery and very happy I got to try it. Will be a staple going forward!

She makes her own caramel and it is the best mix of salty and sweet!! Loved the cookie bars.

It is a special birthday, and faced with some challenging dietary restrictions, I wasn’t sure if I could deliver on a promise. I shared my thoughts and the restrictions with Denise. She listened, confirmed and provided alternative ideas. Best Gluten-free, lactose free cake I have ever eaten. I will be placing my birthday cake order in the near future
