The food was great. Really yummy vegan burger which felt just about right in size (although the price was closer to a bigger burger). The burger was not trying to imitate meats and was in an English muffin. The fries are delicious too! The place was a bit dark and sticky and empty, but the music was good.

Great place to grab a drink and food with friends. Also, check there events, there’s usually something fun going on!

Debbie is such a pleasure to work with for group events! Give her a group size & a budget and she works wonders 😊 The hummus platter was especially delightful, with house made hummus and warm and toasted bread, and the chicken quesadillas are so good!

Love Asiento! What a great neighborhood hang. They’ve got live music on Thursdays for free, multiple bands all night! Food is great, price is reasonable, and I love their cocktails. The best part is the staff though - so friendly and welcoming and sweet to my dog :))

A couple of friends and I went before a comedy show at Cobbs and had a great time; we almost missed the comedy show! The food is yummy, they have a variety of options, and everyone was satisfied with their order. The cocktails are also on point. Though the bartender was a bit slow with service, the service was good overall. We played jenga, which was one of the available games, while enjoying the ambiance. It's a fun space in a very accessible area of the city.

Whatever I am at home trying to sleep so relax at 10pm but you guys not let us sleep playing loud music outside like really how people going sleep 😡😡😡

Fantastic music “breaks” night. Yummy mixed drinks try the ones with mezcal! Food decent but I didn’t try the burger which everyone says is great. Fries and cartinas taco.

Laid back bar with delicious gluten free and vegan/vegetarian food options. (Sorry it looked so scrumptious I took a bite before the photo.) Nice vibe. Plus games. Great place for happy hour or early dinner. Check out other travelers for late night music etc

Do you like a place that's locally owned, well this is the place. The owner is there working with the staff making sure everyone is having a great time. Great bartenders. The sliders are truly something your taste buds will marvel at. They are presented on an English muffin that's lightly toasted and served with just a little mayo. The shrimp are served in a garlic butter that just makes your mouth water. The chips and guacamole were probably some of the freshest I've ever had, I had to wonder if she picked the avocados off the tree that morning.

Excellent service and atmosphere and they support community events too! The owner is rad. Everything is spotless inside with character but they have the rare quality of hiring cool staff and having a good vibe and music. 🎵

i've been going to bars and small venues in sf for over 2 decades, this is definitely one of the best little hidden gems i've been to! the atmosphere was delightful, sound quality was great given the small space (i always wear earplugs but you could actually get by without maybe, and you can still carry on a conversation while jamming to the music). the staff was SO FRIENDLY and welcoming, by far the most impressive feature to me. it was very clear the staff was dedicated to making sure everyone in their space was having a good time. if you come here and have a bad time, idk i think it's kind of on you/your circumstances. multiple water stations, very attentive bartenders, staff was on top of bussing, just a clean, safe, fun environment. when leaving, the bouncer was even kind enough to make sure we got all our things and closed our tabs- a very simple but nice gesture which i really appreciated. another big plus for me, bathrooms were super clean and well stocked. the food was also way better than i would expect for a late night bar snack; the chicken tinga was my favorite! definitely coming back here again <3 thank you, asiento! other venues, take notes, this is how you get people to come back with enthusiasm!

Always great craft cocktails here and yummy bites! My favorite drink is the "What a pear" which is fruity and good for sipping. They usually have live music or DJs playing which is fun and all the servers are very kind. Great ambiance and art. I'll be back soon!

I've never been here before but I thought it was a nice spot to hang out with friends. I went on a Friday night and a crowd of people were coming in and enjoying the music from the DJ which was a nice touch. ********** Service: very kind and friendly female bartenders. Food: I just ordered Fries which were nice and crispy but if you're hungry they have a decent selection of finger foods. Maybe try there enchiladas! Drinks: tasted great and aesthetically pleasing. The price for drinks is typical for SF between 12 to 15. So pick your poison. Astomphere: I thought it was chill place, and people were just vibing with the music, laughing. Also they have board games if your into that Overall it's a fun spot to check out for a fun and chill night .

One of my favorite spots in the Mission for delicious bites and great cocktails, in a beautiful atmospheric setting, often with live music. Have dined both indoors and on their outdoor parklet patio - service is consistently amazing and the management is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and any special dietary needs. The best of the best, I always refer friends here - an absolute gem!

My husband and I had a great time listening to the live music (The Blue Wings) service was very slow for my liking but the atmosphere was very chill. I will come back soon

Super solid neighbourhood spot in the Mission Debi, Sarah and crew are always welcoming and efficient. This place keeps evolving so no more giant wall of board games but there's a decent collection at the back as well as trivia nights. Full bar and non-drinkers can request booze-free versions of their rockstar cocktails: Love Supreme that's a bright passion fruit based spritz or a delightfully tart virgin Basil Lemonade. Yum!

I came for a work party, and the food was good. Parking is kind of hard, but that's how it is in most of SF. Had a lot of places to sit, and I had fun.

One of my favorite neighborhood bars - drinks are great and the food is fantastic .You catch the afternoon sun on the parklet before the fog rolls in or spend a Saturday dancing to some tunes - love the update !

Fantastic local spot. Not pretentious with a nicely curated cocktail list and respectable wine/liquor/beer and food options. Nice enough for a chill birthday gathering of about 12 people who were sitting near us in the window, neighborhood-y enough that my friend and I could watch the game and chat with the personable bartender. An excellent place to spend an evening.

Excellent and innovative cocktail program

Came on a Tuesday night and it was quiet enough to have a good conversation. Drinks were good. The shrimp was cooked really well. Guacamole was bigger than expected and came with a good amount tortilla chips. Outdoor seating area was very cute with the string of lights.

I loved the atmosphere at this place! The DJ was playing records all night and the bartenders were really friendly. The green thumb cocktail and carnitas quesadilla were to die for. Will definitely be coming back!

Carnitas quesadilla and Lil Dipper drink were my favorites. The quesadilla rivals the best of the Mission. Great music and awesome indoor and outdoor space. Will be back!

This place has amazing food and cocktails and such a cozy vibe overall. Madame Racecar is a great addition to the neighborhood. The green thumb cocktail, carnitas tacos, and fresh chips and guacamole were all hits. Definitely coming back here!

Great bar! Love the burger, like an in-n-out burger but better in my opinion. Love that they have vegan options too. Cocktails are great!! Love the look of the new interior, very cozy/classy. Plan to be here a lot!

The classic Mission bar and eatery *Asiento* is now Madame Racecar! I loved the re-imaged interior with comfy booths and comfy bar stools. The booze forward cocktail menu has a drink for everyone, and the food menu retains an inner Mission feel with a smashing new smash burger. Don’t like inside yet? Don’t worry, the heated and lighted parklet is still open.

Really good drinks and fun vibe with some live DJ. We were there for a friend's bday party and had a great time. P.S. Their deviled eggs were yummy.

Great restaurant, fantastic staff and will come back for sure.

This semi-hidden bar and tapas place in Mission District (near the outskirts) has excellent food. I enjoyed the tacos, the chips and guac are amazing, shrimp ceviche, sausage and other bites had great flavor. The drinks and service are great. The DJ and audio system (it's quadraphonic) is excellent and the lounging vibe. I highly recommend and it's good for events and gatherings. Debbie, the bar owner is super chill and is very accommodating. Food and quality: 5/5 Value: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience/facilities: 5/5

Loved the chicken bocadillo and the shrimp quesadilla, the cocktails are great

Slow service on a night when there weren't many people. The food was pricey for the serving sizes and hit or miss- for example, the queso was rock hard by the time it got to us and we had to eat it with a fork. The sausages were fine, but you could recreate the dish easily by just frying up any kielbasa from the store.

This is a very friendly neighborhood bar with some cool artwork on the outside. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

The best neighborhood find so far. The menu is amazing and I made it a task to try all of their cocktails. The staff is also great, friendly and very helpful when it comes to choosing a good drink! The music is also amazing ♥️ I can see this place being my go-to bar for the foreseeable future

Had a great visit to Asiento after our friends birthday cruise on the bay. Lots of fun drinks and tapas style food. The Thai meatballs were fantastic! The sauce was so good I ordered more bread so I could soak up the sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. The only down side was they had a drink on the menu called The Spinnaker that looked amazing, but they were out of some of the ingredients. Definitely recommend as a great hangout spot with fun music.

Wow! What a wonderful place ❤ We had brunch and everything was fresh and delicious! They had a fun DJ playing happy chill vibes. Indoor or out it was really a great dining experience!

Fun cocktail/wine bar with very friendly bartenders and particularly good basic bar food (e.g. chicken quesadilla awesome). Can get a lovely breeze near the big windows when place is packed. Only 3 beers on tap when I was there, and one of them wasn't good; otherwise had a great time.

Everything was great at Asiento— besides the food. The good: We didn’t have a reservation, but were seated very quickly, despite it being a Friday night, which we were very grateful for! The staff was incredibly friendly and tipped us off that we should eat the queso fundido quickly before it cooled down. The DJ was great, and we especially liked that any server could help us because they were all plugged into the same system that had our tab running. Everything came out promptly, and the atmosphere was lovely. The bad: Unfortunately, the food was mediocre (though the ingredients were clearly fresh). The Thai meatballs were overcooked to the point that it was a chore to chew them. The sauce they came in was boring and unimpressive. The carnitas bocadillo was dry and bland. The best part of the crab cake was the fresh spinach on the side. The queso fundido was okay, not spectacular (glad we ate it while it was hot, like our server suggested), and the guacamole was pretty good (but $10 for guac hurt a little bit). The drinks were average (not too sweet, which we appreciated). We’d love to WANT to come back... but the food just wasn’t there.

Asiento has a fantastic vibe (even if it currently has to stay outside). It also has great good and tasty could cocktails, AND unlike many full service bars it has an extensive wine selection.
