Bloody Mary's were great, food could be better

First time here and loved it! We came on a Friday midmorning and it was packed. The parking lot was very full and we had to wait a bit to get parked but it was so worth it. Definitely would suggest to come and enjoy! My sister and I both enjoyed the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and coffee.

Excellent breakfast spot with delicious food and great service. Dani, our server was amazing! Friendly, attentive and offered great suggestions.

Moms ❤️ love...breakfast special is a very tasteful light breakfast as for the cheddar grits, a taste that you cannot describe just marvelous...

I called added my name to waitlist; arrived my name apparently wasn’t added…told that I needed to wait 20 additional minutes. I had a boat tour scheduled going somewhere else would have caused a missed tour. I was very disappointed and unhappy with my visit….will not return, when visiting Pensacola. Thanks Aunt Katie was ruining my day😡, it was nothing welcoming about my visit.

The food here is always phenomenal, and very much worth the wait. Fairly priced for portions and quality! My only complaint is that our server was not very friendly. She only brought us drinks once, and only brought a refill because we had to ask another server who brought our food out. When we were paying, they use mobile devices for that, and she stood very close and watched what tip was being input, and loudly sighed at the amount, and once we finished paying, she smacked my partner’s card back on the table and walked off. Not super welcoming, but the food makes up for it.

We’ve been here a few times now and it has not disappointed. Our lovely waitress Kathy is a doll. She always gets our drinks in quickly and always offers to put in our toddler’s meal in first. We always appreciate a waitress who knows how to work with kids. Everyone who is a parent knows how stressful it can be to try to eat out with small children.

Stopped by on our small weekend getaway! This is a cute Mom & Pop kinda place! I got clean vibes upon walking in which is a huge plus for me!! Our food was out in no time after ordering. The quality of the food was overall good! The pancakes however was the best!!!!!!

Was recommended for breakfast and it didn't disappoint. Some of the guests got lunch entrees that looked really good also.

Food was pretty good till I got home to finish my burrito and found a big chunk of some kind of paper in it. I won’t be going back.

Long line so we stopped at the bar. A seat opened up and Jessica invited us to sit at the bar. Great selection of breakfast and cocktails. Wonderful service.

We were a party of 7, and it took us right at two hours eat. Several parties that came in after us, were served and left well before our food was served. The waitress was not friendly, and we had to ask for refills several times. Food was ok. The chicken for the chicken and waffles is very obviously cooked from frozen and premade. Most everyone’s dish was warm-ish. We first went when Katie’s first opened, and it was amazing. Shame to see it slip like this.

First time. Everything was outstanding!

This place was packed and always seems to be hopping. Be prepared to wait a bit. The food was good, your typical breakfast spot. The menu was a bit extensive which can be a little overwhelming. There were so many choices. I wasn’t expecting that for a breakfast spot. The star of the show was the mimosa flight! Delish. The French 75 was my favorite.

Solid breakfast food! We were on vacation and left very satisfied.

Michelle was a wonderful server and spot on. My son introduced us to Katie's. Great idea. And.tlak.about awesome Bloody Marys.

The food was great with large portions and with a large selection of meals. The staff was great and the place was clean. The main complaint was the noise. The acoustics are very bad, so with about 50 % of the tables having customers, it was almost impossible to have a conversation, and we were seated on the first row of tables

This place is a staple and a gem 💎 ✨️. Our waitress Kat was simply amazing! The food was great and fulfilling 😋. And the mimosas we spot on. We had the Cajun shrimp omelet a must try. If you visit ask for Kat she will take great care of you.

I had the Katie’s Special breakfast (2 eggs, bacon, biscuit with tomato gravy) and the wife had home fries and bacon. The tomato gravy didn’t disappoint, best I’ve ever had. Eggs were cooked to perfection and bacon was excellent. Oh yeah, the coffee was good and our server kept our cups full and was attentive and nice. Would recommend and hope to come back.

A hidden gem! A couldn’t believe how big the menu was, but everything I have ever ordered has been delicious. There is usually a wait for a table on the weekends, but you can sometimes call ahead to get on the wait list, and you can also get a drink at the bar while you wait. Nevertheless, worth the wait. Great food and service!

The colossal burger is a perfect combination of a burger and breakfast! Well worth the wait... Rest assured that it will not disappoint!

Our hostess Michelle was so personable, attentive, helpful, and kind! We are big time foodies with a particular love for breakfast and this was the best home style breakfast we have had in all of our travels. Incredibly family friendly (kids eat free!) and a lovely hometown feel with many regulars circulating through during our breakfast. 10/10 experience! Can’t wait to visit again when we are back in town! We had the breakfast burrito, Hawaiian pancakes, Emma’s kids breakfast and sausage gravy omelette. All excellent.

The only bad thing that I can say is that they don't take reservations. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous.

Rated four stars which is high for me in a place so recently opened. Service was somewhat a team effort, which worked to keep service in the acceptable range for a busy time. Décor was funky on purpose, and it worked for us. Now, to the food! The Cinnamon Roll had a cream cheese-based icing and was delicious. The wife, who is a cinnamon roll devotee, approved greatly. She also enjoyed her Mom’s Love breakfast, finding the bacon and eggs cooked perfectly for her taste. She also enjoyed the French Toast. I wanted to order one of the listed omelets but spying tomato gravy offered on Larry’s Day Starter I had to have that instead. Tomato gravy is NOT commonly found in commercial establishments. The sausage, bacon, and biscuit were of good quality and delicious. The tomato gravy was good, but not as good as dear ole moms. I did make a suggestion on the tomato gravy, based on some personal research on making the best tomato gravy with commercially available items (yes, I AM that much a tomato gravy fan). Other opinions to taste may vary, and let me assure there was no tomato gravy wasted on MY plate! We will return even though it is all the way across town from us. I have to, there are at least two of the omelets I MUST try! 3/10/2020 - got back by to try an omelet and I must say that the Sissy's Omelet will not disappoint! Great service when not running near peak, in fact it was so fast I told the waitress it was amazingly quick when my food arrived so fast. The omelet was really great, excellent gravy and real good cheddar. I raised the rating as they are worth five stars! Great food at a good value. 12/28/2022 Been in a few times, but decided to update. Still say 5 stars. Had the Sissy's Sausage Gravy Omelet again, and loved it even more@! Wife had the Cajun Shrimp Omelet and it was great too. 06/25/2024 Been in a few times since last review. Food is still good, but potatoes were a little salty today. Wife has fallen in love with the gumbo and the shrimp basket with how cakes. She got that today, with a side of Gouda Grits. I had the Sissy's Sausage Gravy omelet again, and it was very good as before. Service was outstanding, and you now pay at the table if using a card. We will return!

Aunt Katie’s is a local gem. Located in Pensacola off Scenic Highway this establishment serves breakfast/brunch like no other you had. Today I ordered the cheeseburger omelette with Gouda grits in a bowl. Venise cooked my meal to order and everything was hot/fresh. Alexis was my waitress and she was pleasant.

The food is the best breakfast I've had in years, and the portions are huge. My server was extremely attentive, kind, and good at her job. The only thing is the parking if you go durning the weekend they are soooo packed it fan be hard to find a spot, but obviously worth it!

Our visit here was incredible! Some of the best food of our whole trip. The Crazy Good Benedict was amazing, and our server Michelle was so kind and helpful!

Had a large group from out of town. Absolutely no parking spaces and cars stuck in parking lot trying to get in and out. Some of us had to park across the road and get across Scenic Hwy😆 Our waitress was very sweet and did a good job. No seating for large parties. The food was okay but definitely not a place to go with a large group.

The hoecake burger was amazing. Our server Ms. Kathy was on point. Bought a jar of their apple butter jelly and Maddie's sauce for ourselves. Great experience all around!

The service today was horrible! They were not busy with half the dining room open yet we waited over 15 minutes I asked the hostess if we needed to leave and she just “no” yet we continued to wait. Another guy in our party asked a different employee and she was short with him. The 5 of us left and went across the street to P’cola Bistro and were seated immediately and enjoyed great service.

One of the best brunches I’ve ever had. Food was absolutely phenomenal and the staff were incredibly friendly and quick. Our waitress, Michelle, was awesome! If you’re looking for incredible breakfast/brunch, come here!

There was an await time of 40 minutes. While we waited I ordered a paradise mimosa it was excellent. I ordered the creole shrimp omelette it was amazing. Best breakfast in the area!

I'm from Texas I visited my neice in Pensacola she treated my sister and I to brunch this place did not disapoint it is absolutely amazing friendy family atmosphere, friendly staff, food was amazing inexpensive and you get alot of food if you're visiting you have to stop in.

Recently stopped in for breakfast on our trip to Destin. Michelle was great and made us feel like home with family highly recommend to stop for a great breakfast family, friendly, quick and friendly service at a reasonable price.

Came here yesterday with my family and it felt some loving and welcoming there. The staff was amazing as well and so was our waiter, I forgot his name but he was great! I saw another staff member be kind and help an older gentleman out the door and I think they offered to walk him to his car safely but he was okay. I would definitely come here again when I visit Pensacola. ❤️

This is by far one of the hidden Gems of Pensacola. I am obsessed. Never have had a meal not be perfect. Feels like your eating a meal at home. Very comfortable environment and friendly staff.

Enjoyed a delicious creole shrimp omelet. The cheese grits weren't my taste profile. I'd get the potatoes instead.

Incredible food, service, and atmosphere. Aunt Katie’s food is huge, my wife got the half burrito and I got the spinach and mushroom omelette. We also shared a cinnamon roll which had homemade cream cheese icing, delicious! Tuesdays are buy one get one half off, so it was a great day to come and try the breakfast. Our server was Beth, she was really friendly and nice to us, very personable. I highly recommend getting Beth if you can and ordering anything from the menu, I’m sure it’ll be great!

The food was very bland. Even adding salt, pepper, hot sauce, and ketchup to the food really didn't help. I know restaurants can't overdo it as some people have sensitive pallets, but this has no taste. The entire table didn't finish their meals for that reason. The service was great and the wait wasn't long.

Wow!! What an amazing place to eat. Got the chicken fajita omelet and it was incredibly flavorful. The service was quick, attentive and friendly. Wonderful place for breakfast with tons of fun, inventive items on the menu. Do yourself a favor by visiting this place when in Pensacola ... you won't regret it at all.

Everything was good, been there twice

The smell of MOLD and MILDEW and general dampness is so off putting that we just got a cup of coffee and are turning around and leaving! I NEVER do that! The odor walking in the door is overpowering to the point it felt unhealthy. Our cup of coffee was typical diner coffee. Nothing special. Don’t go here if you’re expecting to spend a nice relaxing time and good conversation over a meal.

After reading the reviews we had to visit and it did not disappoint. The Spicy Bloody Mary was a meal within itself. The food was outstanding the portions were large. Our server Michelle made us feel like family and her service was exceptional !! We will visit again !!

Crab Benedict was wonderful. Crab cake filled with fresh Crab. Eggs poached perfectly. Potatoes crisp and wellseasoned. Coffee and water never empty. I'll definitely stop here again.

This was absolutely the best breakfast I have ever had. I was visiting and happened to look up the best breakfast and this came up. I highly recommend. I had the omelette and the fried potatoes were absolutely magnificent. Service was impeccable. I will be back next time I am in this area.

My sister and I stopped in for a late breakfast. I had the pancake breakfast which was perfect. Our waitress was Shelby, she was very kind and helpful! I love the beautiful plates and the food was great. Just like eating at your grandma’s house! I don’t live in Pensacola, but will definitely recommend to my family when we visit the area!

Hands down the best breakfast in Pensacola. The atmosphere, service, and food are top-tier. The pancakes had the perfect outer crisp and the perfect amount of fluff. The bacon cheeseburger omelet was HUGE and seasoned. The grits were enough for 2 people to share. Would highly recommend calling ahead and getting on the waitlist.
