Legit Mediterranean. Some of the best chicken shawarma and chicken kabobs we’ve ever had. Delicious.

The Food here was absolutely delicious! The prices for the food were really reasonable, me and my Dad stopped here to grab a bite to eat as we were hours early for our flight back home to Ga. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was nice. We both agreed that we would definitely stop by here again if our travels brought us back this way.

10/10 must try again.Let me tell you, the food was bursting with so much flavor. If you’re use to getting your food served fast this is a warning that it takes some time but it is worth it I promise. The owner was a cool and friendly guy. I’m going leave you all with this, if you don’t know what to get get the platter and ask for the chef’s choice, you won’t be disappointed.

Steak and gyros are amazing. Hot and fresh. Great for takeout or dine in. Service deserves 6 stars they put 110% into making sure the customer is satisfied.

The food is amazing and every time I come in the staff is working so hard. They really impressed me with their work ethic and the food is fresh. They were in the middle of dinner rush and takeout food was still reasonably timed. Highly recommend

This was my first time coming here and it did not disappoint! I wish I would have remembered to take a photo of my plate but I was so hungry I ate it all so quickly! So many different options for both vegetarian and non. The tea was also much better than I anticipated being a non tea drinker! I highly recommend.

Kind of a run down building, but the falafel bowl was very good, as was the sage tea. Definitely caffeinated though so don’t get it with dinner. No seating for parties larger than four fyi.

I am obsessed with the gyro! The fries also have a seasoning blend on them that really makes them stand out. My one meal is always big enough for leftovers so the proportions are great!

The best Middle Eastern food in Fairbanks. It is not a fancy place more like for a casual meal or take away, but I love it! I have lived in Jerusalem for some time and the food has the closest taste to the food in Jerusalem and loved the Amr Diab music inside 😍

Great food, good prices, but the music hurts my ears. The gyro sandwich is loaded with meat and you can get a cobo with fries and a drink for under $15. My only complaint is the music which is repetitive and lacking depth/dimension. Other than that it was great.

The food was so delicious and the hot sauce was actually a little spicy! I got a bowl and I will definitely be returning as the prices are good and food is amazing. Atmosphere was not intimate or classy, but loud dives are what seem to hold all the best foods in Fairbanks.

We read good reviews about this place and it really was excellent. We were visiting from Georgia and wanted to try Mediterranean food in Fairbanks. What better place than what it's famous for?! Aurora! It's a simple looking place, we think more for take out than dine in. We dined in. The owner greeted us with a smile and answered our questions with patience. We ordered chicken shawarma and steak kabob with fries and lentil soup. Every item was absolutely delicious! 👌🏼😋 Owner came to ask us how everything was. Once we were done we asked him where to put our dirty dishes. He just waved at us and said don't worry. That was very sweet. Thank you for your hospitality. Highly recommend eating there.

The lady that runs the restaurant seemed to have her nose in the air when I asked about getting a white claw beer to which she said what flavor. I didn't know they had different flavors since they weren't listed on the menu. Also she was kind of indifferent when my wife had ordered a salmon dish & it was served as suci. My wife told her she wanted it cooked so it was sent back & was cooked.

One of the best Mediterranean restaurants in the US and the BEST Mediterranean restaurant in ALASKA. Excellent food, friendly staffs, plenty of parking and decent number of tables for seating. Food was prepared after you place the order, so it was served fresh and hot. Highly recommend to try Chicken Kabob platter/bowl, Falafel plate and Butter Chicken. If you are looking to have good Mediterranean food in FAIRBANKS, look no further than Aurora Mediterranean Restaurant.

Simple setting, in what may have been an Italian restaurant or pizza place based on paintings on the wall, with good food and service. The lentil soup was very good. I'd be back just for that. I have tried a ton of amazing Mediterranean food so I was worried it would not be as good as what I’m used to and they did not disappoint!! Everything went soo well together with so much flavor! The portion size was just enough to get full a must try in Fairbanks!

I have frequented a lot of Mediterranean places and this one is at the top. Worth any wait and the price is good too. You really feel like you have been transported to the Mediterranean. Baraka!

Absolutely amazing food..every meat cooked perfectly be it chicken beef or lamb. Great salads and sauces... the chef has finesse and knows his stuff. Fairbanks is lucky..wish we had him in Seattle. The food would be the best Mediterranean/Arab food in the northwest. And top it off it's halal! Loved it

Hatten heute ein sehr leckeres Abendessen in dem Restaurant. Wir hatten einen griechischen Salat und eine Steak Bowl. Beides war sehr sehr lecker. Nehmen Sie einfach das was der Chef empfiehlt ;-) Weiterhin wurden sehr viele Bestellungen abgeholt, was bedeutet dass das Essen hier sehr gut ankommen muss! Daher eine Weiterempfehlung!

So delicious. You walk in and place your order, then find a seat. I love this kind of place, much easier for families. Their plates are pretty big, so come hungry. I got the kabob plate and my husband the gyro. Both were amazing and fresh. The sauces are next level. I highly recommend this spot.

Wonderful meal, fast, helpful and friendly service. Butter chicken was fantastic.

Just dine in dont think much. This place has best food. Everything we tried was so good that we ordered more food. We ordered Butter chicken bowl - best flavor Chicken Musakhan bowl - good Chicken Kebob bowl - must try Chicken Shawarma bowl - also very good Falafel bowl and Halloumi cheese bowl (both veg) were super good. Baklava and Tiramisu are okayish. Overall worth every buck you spend

This surprising gem is quickly becoming my favorite ethnic restaurant in Fairbanks. All of the items I've tried have been delicious and flavorful (except the falafel which I thought was pretty bland). Even the Aurora iced tea has me dreaming of next time I'll be able to come back. I've also found portion sizes to be fair for the price. A word of advice - the lunch rush is no joke so I'd recommend placing a takeout order ahead of time if you're coming here during peak hours.

We decided to try a mediterranean restaurant while we were visiting fairbanks. This place got me hooked on mediterranean food. It was so good!! The food tasted amazing. Wish there was a restaurant like this where I live.
