Birria tacos were dry ,hardly had cheese ! Taste is okay but I wish they weren't dry ! verde sauce was extremely hot ,fire alarm hot Prices were reasonable ,customer service great

First time having Chicharrons that were not fried pork skins. This dish that I have never seen before was the most amazing and delicious item I received. I could not wrap my brain around it and am still not quite sure of what is in it, but I loved every bite. The Birria taco and Birria smothered fries were great as well and so was the elite. I got my food delivered via Door dash and it still was fresh and hot. This was amazing special food truck and I will get more of this Chicharrones.

I’m a trucker passing by the state and I have to tell you that their Birria tacos are the bomb. On top of that they are a good price 5 for $13, can’t beat that. Will definitely come here again if I’m ever in the area!

I think this is one of the best food trucks in Baton Rouge. The Birria tacos are flavorful, fresh, and will make you full with just one or 2. The Birria sauce is good and not greasy like other places I've had and the service is nice and fast. The parking can get a little congested but no other complaints

I was referred to Aztecas by a coworker who immigrated from Mexico and said their food tastes like going home. I have never liked what people consider to be "Mexican" food around here because it's not authentic and it's bland and greasy and has too much cheese, so I put it off, but I'm glad I finally went. This is my new favorite lunch spot. Aztecas is FRESH, DELICIOUS, AUTHENTIC, INCREDIBLE MEXICAN CUISINE. The asada was char grilled, just a little cheese at the bottom to keep it cohesive. Crispy tortilla wrapped around. Served with a delightfully well seasoned Birria consumme'. It also came with succulent sauteed onions, refreshingly fresh radish and cucumber sliced as well as fresh onion and parsley, and delectable, tart lime wedges. No smear of unpalatable sludgy refried beans. No dry, tomato paste caked rice. No black olives. No mountain of cheese... just REAL food. Real homestyle, home-cooked food. I couldn't believe how great it was! If you haven't been by or you're wondering if you should, I urge you to go, you won't regret it.

Hands down the best food Truck around! My wife and I had the steak burrito, and chicken quesodilla..the food was phenomenal! Huge portions, fresh, and perfectly spiced and not too salty.

Every time we have Aztecas food we have an amazing experience. The food is delicious and the service is great. We enjoyed everything we tried. The quesadillas are really good, the birria raman is really good too. The fruit and the elotes are good too. I recommend pretty much everything.

Went right when they opened for lunch and got the pizza quesadilla. This thing was MASSIVE and enough to feed 3 people. The beef was perfectly seasoned and it came with many wonderful toppings. Best $20 I've ever spent!

Heared all the great reviews and decided to try it out for dinner. Ordered burrito and quesadilla. Never seen quesadilla come with sides of radishes and cucumbers. As a matter of fact it was very bland the vegetables. Quesadilla cheese should have been cooked more. No sides of beans or rice! I understand everyone cook differently but honestly it was not good. Experienced eating authentic mexican food in Mexico. This is not it. I was not greeted when ordered, but a simple yes. Is this is how you treat your customer. My suggestion would be to hone in on your customer service skills. The meat was very bland had no taste. You would think for the price they charged it would be good! Nope! Did not experience that! Will not be returning. Was not impressed.

The food was hot , fresh and made to order. The line was long but they moved really quickly so you won’t be waiting too long. The food was DELICIOUS, well seasoned and full of authentic flavors.

By far my favorite truck in Baton Rouge! Generous, super-flavorful, excellent salsas. Barbacoa is the real deal cheek and birria are full and served with consomme. Service is quick, pleasant and multilingual and there's no better value that I've experienced in 18 months of eating in BR.

I was working in Baton Rouge earlier this year and was recommended this place. I was complaining that being Mexican from TX it was hard finding authentic Mexican food in Louisiana. OMG... the birria tacos here are straight fire 🤌🏻 The cups of fruit are MASSIVE and fresh, worth the money. The consume for the birria tacos is so damn good, I always ask for extra so I can just drink it. I'm back in Louisiana working again and on my first fatigue day, I spent it in Baton Rouge going to all my favorite places and I HAD to make a stop here. Worth the drive! Will be going back on my next fatigue day 😋

Someone from our party get-together brought a 2 boxes of mixed tacos. Man those tacos were really good. The cabeza and pastor my favorite. The garnish that comes with the tacos were really fresh. Can wait to try other food items from here.

I got a birria taco for the first time and pork taco. Oh. My. Goodness. 😭😭😭 and I don’t even like Mexican food. The owners are from Sinaloa, so it’s authentically delicious!!!

We ordered the family or party box. 12 or 14 tacos and two big quesadillas. The tacos were chicken, pork, beef and vegetable. This came with plenty of onions, radishes, cucumbers, grilled onions and delicious green salsa all in a separate container. The food was delicious, the presentation outstanding-all tucked neatly into a pizza box. This fed 5 hungry adults with food leftover. Perfect for tailgating. Phoned in, ready when they said.

I order from here on DoorDash probably once a week. Always get the 5 birria tacos and elote. Always amazing! So much flavor, a good amount of food for the price. They seem to stay busy. Stopped by once to pickup dinner and there was a nice line to get food. Recommend to anyone!

This place is top tier when it comes to flavor. But I gave 3 stars because last time I went, I ordered 4 steak tacos and requested tacos with no cheese. I didn't do that lightly, as I'm extremely allergic to dairy products. But when I received my food there were little bits of cheese randomly throughout my food, like they may be a little careless in keeping different foods apart. I couldn't eat any of it and had to give it away because they were closed by the time I realized it. So I'm just leaving this review to say, if you have food allergies to anything they serve, it's best you don't order from here at all just to be safe. Because had I not been super vigilant about looking through my food, I wouldn't have seen it and ended up in the hospital.

Great food, served fresh. They take pride in what they do and it shows in the Quailty and flavor of the food.

The tacos were super full with meat and I was really hoping the quality would match the quantity. Unfortunately the meat was very dry, even after being doused with lime and both salsas.

This place has the best tacos I’ve ever had. There isn’t a close second. I’ve gone here countless times and ordered something different; and it’s consistently the best I’ve ever had. Only bad thing is, if you have the Birria/Consome here, you won’t be able to have it anywhere else. Nothing compares.
