We ordered a variety of dishes, and none of them disappointed. I will be back again and again!

Food and people working here are great. No complaints. I was with a table of 3 and got the Baba Going Crazy. We all left full and had plenty of leftovers. A lot of food for the price and highly recommend getting it.

I'll be honest we have seen this place several times and did go most because the sign was half missing on the front. Don't let that steer you away from eating here. It was excellent. The food was good. More than I could eat but not over filling my plate. The service was outstanding. Everyone inside was polite and kind to our children. The kids liked it too.

Top notch from the time you walk in till the time you walk out. Epitome of servant leadership from the top down. HIGHLY recommend stopping in for great service and excellent cuisine. Thank you all!!

Ordered for first time for delivery. I will never eat here again. Chicken Schwarma was worst I ever had. Mixed Grill meat was chewy with little flavor. Hummus tastes like there is peanut butter in it. Halloumi cheese was the only decent item. Hard to mess up cheese. I saw rave reviews. So I was very disappointed!

This is my favorite restaurant. The food is delicious the service great and the owner treats you like family. Also there's nothing on the menu that is not great, haven't had any thing that was delicious. Great atmosphere. Please try the Red Velvet Chicken.

Please go and check out my favorite place to eat in Lafayette! The owner and staff make every experience perfection from start to finish. Every dish will make your tastebuds water and beg for more. They have the best chicken in Lafayette,hands down. It’s always so juicy and just melts in your mouth,as well as the steak and lamb. I highly recommend the Baba Going Crazy if you’re unsure of what you like and want a little of everything. It’s a sampler platter on steroids! The bread starter comes with 2 sauces. They even substitute or subtract things that I can’t have on my special dietary restrictions. There’s inside or outside seating and they are kid and pet friendly. This is NOT a fast food restaurant. This is a small family owned business that cooks everything fresh and serves you with a smile. If you haven’t tried this place, add it to your list and it will soon be one of your regulars just like ours. You won’t be disappointed!

The food and service is delicious. If you are looking for friendly service and unique dining experience this is a place to visit. The server took the time to learn our names and the owner stopped by several times to ensure that we were enjoying ourselves. We will definitely visit again!

We have been here twice now. Not only is the food excellent, the service goes above and beyond expectations. Today, they let my 4 year old son "help" them to prepare his pizza. This moment of kindness will certainly be a good memory for my son, but also for me as well. We will be regular customers from today onward.

Friendly staff, good service. Ambience is decent, decoration is simple but tasteful. Decent variety of menu choices. They bake fresh pita bread inhouse, on demand. Falafel is crisp, warm and good flavor with a bit of spice bite that is pleasant without being overpowering. Smooth flavorful mutabbal / eggplant dip. Shish kifta kabob ( ground meat with onions and parsely) and lamb kabob are tender and moist, prepared well. Rice has buttery flavor. Salads with fresh ingredients and dressing. Will definitely return to try more items from the menu.

Baba kabob’s food is amazing, but the service is even better. They truly make you feel like family. My son looks forward to going because “Uncle” is so kind to him - always making a point to stop by our table with a treat or to teach him something.

This place is so delicious. The pita bread is out of this world!! Chicken shawarma and fattoush salad, and hummus are really high quality and yummy. Definitely the best Mediterranean I’ve had in south Louisiana!

I’ve passed a couple of times and always wanted to stop and try it. Well today was the I stopped in to try it out and boy was it great!! The food was amazing!! So many wonderful flavors and such a nice variety. The staff were wonderful! Our waiter was kind and helpful with any questions we had. The older gentleman was very kind aswell, he gave us extra sauce and gave us directions on the best way to reheat our food. 10/10 place

At the recommendation of a friend, we stopped in for lunch. We were new too Lebanese, Mediterranean cuisine and didn't know what too order. Our waiter was so charming and knowledgeable. He assisted us in navigating the menu, gave us recommendations and even some samples. When the food arrived it was fresh and hit, so favorable and there was a lot of it. We left stuffed. Initially we thought it might he pricey, but we left with enough left over food for another meal. 10 stars🙂🙂🙂

Combo Plater outstanding. Variety gives great tastes available here. Fresh Hot bread is epic. Multi sensory experience. Flavors delightful. Atmosphere clean & crisp. Piano Music is Fab. Manager greeted us with great demeanor. Will be a future go to restaurant.

We were visiting from Mississippi and found this incredible place. I’m so happy we did. The food was so flavorful, fresh and delicious. Our waiter helped us choose the best items in the menu and his suggestions were spot on. He was informative and attentive. The owner even stopped by our table to see how everything was. The prices are great for the amount of food that is brought out. We left full and happy. Our only wish is that we lived closer, because this would become a weekly go to. Absolutely amazing.

I revised my review after 2 years. If you are dining in , they are great and their food and service are the best. However I tried ordering via 2 different food ordering apps twice with 1 year apart. In both cases my order got confirmed by them but later they canceled it because an item was unavailable after wasting my time and the delivery person time. Given the prices are not low this shouldn't happen. Review before confirming and remove items if they are unavailable. Why confirm and wait till the delivery person is there to cancel the order!? This was not an incident because again I waited 1 year and used 2 different apps before jumping to conclusions. So sad because I will never go there ir order from them again.

First time trying Turkish food. Got lamb kabab, kofta kabab(meatball style) and halloumi cheese. It was all so delicious. Will definitely visit again. Owner was so welcoming :) Great customer service!

I was unaware of this little jewel until my son brought me here! I loved the cozy atmosphere - it felt as if I had stepped into another land far from Lafayette La!! The service was impeccable and the food was delectable!! I will definitely be a return customer and share with my friends of my wonderful experience here!!

They have outdoor seating and since it was only 87°, and night time it was beautiful. Wasn't expecting the bread but it was fluffy and hollow (super delicious)and the dipping sauce was excellent. Had lamb kabobs and chicken schwarma and hummus. Hands down, going to come back. 👍🏼 Great job

Truly amazing! Me and my wife’s family have eaten here a few times, and every time they have delivered. This is one of the hidden gems of delicious dining in Lafayette.

I’m not sure how they manage their servers. Food is always good here. Our first time here, everyone greeted us nicely but our second visit led to a bad experience with a server who forgot all of our order.

Disgusting!! 1 - The menu was dirty, seriously?? 2 - Waitress did not want to work and complained to me because I wanted to sit outside, Who does that?? 3 - I wanted to order humus (as an appetizer), She said it comes with the entrée instead of ordering it separately, and I said fine. Then she never brought it, after I received the entrée I asked where is the humus, she said it didn't come with it. At this point, I thought I was on a prank show or something started looking for cameras. 4 - Lamb chops are so pose to be savory, not sweet, so it seems they cover up how unfreashness with a donut glaze. 5 - Salad had brown lettuce under the yellow lettuce with 4 pieces of green lettuce. How is this place still open. How , their client base is old retired couples , youngest customer I saw was probably 83 years old , they can't taste anything anyway so they just make the food somewhat presentable!!!! I hope when yall get old someone takes advantage of yall. SHAME ON YOU MANAGEMENT!!!! SHAME SHAME SHAME!!! I've done 100s of reviews I've never been more disgusted in my life !!!

This is an excellent Middle Eastern restaurant. This place is ultra clean, which alone tells you that you will have an amazing meal. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food is clean, fresh and reminds me of another time and place. The hummus is to die for. Here is something you will not find around here.... fresh hand made pita made as you walk in! They have a fire oven that they put in fresh dough and 90 seconds the inflated pita is delivered to your table piping hot with oil, Zadar and a harissa that are both hand made. The portions are large and you will NOT walk away hungry. If you do, YOU did something wrong.

WOW. We came in from out of town and decided to try Baba Kabab for dinner and I'm thrilled we did. Farooq was our waiter and suggested the "Gone Wild platter" for entree and the "Hot Sampler" appetizer. So thats what we did....and It did NOT disappoint! Yes it was a ton of food and took over half to go home but the variety of food was amazing. Flavor was phenomenal. You could really taste the herbs and spices! Fragrent, rich, just delicious. Farooq came several times to just check and make sure we were not needing anything. The owners came up and conversated, explained the foods, orgins, etc. By the end we were stuffed but was suggested we try the "Kanafa" for dessert. We almost passed but I just couldn't! So we ordered 1 and OMG just do yourself a favor and try it. I was iffy thinking hmmm fried noodles and cheese but Farooq hadn't steered us wrong yet so why not. Overall a wonderful experience and suggest everyone try it.

We met up with some friends here for dinner, and we had a great time. I food was delicious. Looks like a family run restaurant and the waiter that served us was very friendly, yet very busy. I had some lamb kababs which were delicious and we got a delicious dessert called kanufa. It was my first time having it and it was probably one of my favorite desserts that I have had in a long time.

The only thing that I can say is : phenomenal. they are amazing in service and the way that serve it was really different than the other restaurants in Lafayette, I recommend you baba going crazy if you like to taste all of their kababs, and red velvet chicken and Cora beef stew also , for drink I recommend Lebanese old fashion and baba fizz.

Took the family to try it out for the first time. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we got from start to finish. My young kids even really loved their food. The entire staff was extremely pleasant and attentive.

Beef was tough, but chicken perfect! Sides were all wrong! Opposite of what we ordered on both plates. No utensils or napkins… we are in a hotel so very annoying!

We stopped here for lunch on a long trip. What an unexpected treat! The pita is made fresh and is light as a cloud. All of the found was fresh and bright and delicious. I had kofta in a tahini sauce with pastry on top that arrived on a flaming try and was carved table side. It was wonderful. Also they were very gracious about the mess that accompanies Dino g with small children. A hidden gem and a destination in its own right.

Beautiful cultural place, very refreshing and professional, Amazing workers, not much experience with mediterranean food but I am definitely a fan after this experience. You get this amazing pita bread when you dine and all of the food is well seasoned.

Say it with me: Uncle knows best! The owner of Baba Kabab, simply known as Uncle, is the best restaurant host a person could ask for! I brought 25 students and a handful of parents to Baba Kabab to celebrate winning a state competition. We chose Baba Kabab because we had Hindu and Muslim students with us and we wanted to find a restaurant that could cater to their specific needs. The restaurant offers Halal food, and Vegetarian options (like The Angry Eggplant) that make a non-vegetarian want to choose them! Uncle invited me to come to the restaurant to help decide how best to seat everyone. Our large party size meant that we took up most of the restaurant. Uncle is so funny and gracious! He truly treated me and my students like we were family. He joked with the students, always asking if they were still hungry. I had one student order a burger. It wasn’t what he expected it would be: instead of a regular burger bun, it was on their famous pita bread. Uncle noticed and brought him chicken gyro. When I asked about it, he explained “If someone has not eaten, it means that I didn’t do a good job, and I feel that I must make it right. I can’t let someone come and leave still hungry!” The student was grateful and really enjoyed the chicken gyro. Now, I love Middle Eastern food! But for many of my students (aged 11-15) and parents, this was their first time trying food anything like this. It was kind of funny and a little stressful watching them voice their hesitations. Let me tell you, Uncle and his chefs are amazing! By the end of the our meal all of my students who were nervous were saying thank you to Uncle and to me for introducing them to food that they (according to them) “never would have tried unless [I] had encouraged them to step outside of their comfort zone.” So, if you are nervous to try Baba Kabab because the food isn’t something you are familiar with, get out there and try it! Our waiter, Robert, was happy to explain the difference between chicken gyro, kabab, and kafta to plenty of my students. Give the menu a look on their website ahead of time as well! And of course, don’t forget to try their namesake kababs and famous, homemade pita bread! It is out of this world!

The pizza was the best I’ve ever had

Cheese pizza is really good and cheesy. Also, the shrimp chandelier was really good as well so overall this place is really good and would recommend.

I enjoyed my first experience here. The fresh pita bread and dipping sauces were amazing. So fresh. The presentation of the food was beautiful and I loved the salad. The rice was this unusually tasty with cinnamon or maybe allspice, never had it that way before, I really liked it. The kabobs were good, maybe a little dry but still very good. I had beef and lamb. I definitely would love to come back and try more. My fried had the Red Velvet Chicken that looked amazing and he seemed to love so I will have to try it next time.

Our lunch bunch dined today at Baba Kabob. I enjoyed the lamb kabob medium rare, charcoal grilled, with its assortment of kabob veggies, grilled to perfection, , hummus, salad and a rice dish for $18. What a delectable treat! More of this please......

Amazing food, atmosphere, and service!! It was my first time and will not be my last. Our server, Jake, was very helpful in helping us select items that best suited us. So grateful for our experience.

The food was good and the place is nice, although the large picture frame with nothing in it is a bit odd. I would have given it a higher rating, but it is expensive compared to competitors, like Athena. It is owned by the uncle of the owner of the Zeus chain.

Honestly the photos here would speak for themselves. My mom, husband, and I came for my birthday. The waiter was super nice and the food was amazing. We got there at just the right time. They dimmed the lights and the ambience was just perfect. We got the family style plate and it was to die for. Perfectly cooked lamb, shrimp, chicken, and beef!! Amazing bread and a hearty salad!! The Lebanese tea was delightful as well. Really great place. Please check them out, you won't be disappointed. Very flavorful food!!

Just finishing up lunch here on a Saturday. I can honestly say this is one of the best meals and well as restaurant service experiences I have ever had. Tried a wide variety of items, and everything was excellent.

Lamb was great. Pita bread was fluffy, fresh. Along with zatar sauce--organo, olive oil, sesame seeds mix. Tasted great. I liked it better than zeus.

Terrible service. We sat down and it took forever to even get a drink ordered. Our waiter just walked past us multiple times and ignored us. The waitress just stood there looking like she had nothing to do but she was also getting her tables done. We went right at lunch so I expected it to be busy but he didn't pay any attention to us whatsoever.

Hands down the richest flavors and spices experienced in a very long time. Everything we tasted was delicious. Staff was friendly and served us well. The chef came to our table to ask if we enjoyed the meal, which we did. The owner opened the door and wished us a good night as we left. The fire and presentation of the meals added an element of discussion and surprise. Many tables took pictures as the food was delivered.
