EAT THE KOREAN RIBS!!! Loved the HUMONGOUS pizzas 🍕!

Outstanding! We were visiting on vacation and Moose's Tooth was recommended as a "Must Go". And it is! If you like pizza then definitely go here! Awesome they had gluten and dairy free options and very generous portions! I wish there was one in Boston!

Long wait for crappy service and the worse pizza I’ve ever eaten. Flat beers were not replaced and forced to pay for them. Garbage place overhyped. I’ve had better frozen pizza

Really over hyped pizza spot, we were recommended by several locals to try this soot. We went there during lunch on a week day, looked less busy than their other busy dining times. There are a lot of topping options and you can do half and half, even on the small pizzas. Our pizzas were extremely undercooked and our server was very nice and offered to make us new ones, but we didn’t want to waste the pizzas. As explained to us, they use a stone oven so the heat is not always consistent. We saw other pizzas around us and some were cooked to a crisp and others looked under cooked as well. Our server gave us a discount at the end, which was great but we would much prefer our pizzas cooked correctly. They are really accommodating but the food was meh. My salad was pretty decent but the pizzas were a let down.

My first gastro experience in Anchorage in over 30 years. This place knows what's up and knows how to do pizza well.

If you rate this place anything lower than 5...you're wrong and I hope you stub your toe on a couch and step on a Lego.

Expensive mediocrity sums up this establishment per my last three visits but I’ll only speak on the latest. Keep reading… Now I’m not sure what happened here but a $40 pizza should be piping hot. There should be sauce on it. And it should be sliced evenly so you can enjoy it. My pizza was none of the above. I have been here a few times and it was slightly above average and this is the last time I’m going unless management actually reaches back out to me after this review. I did put in a complaint through their website and figured a manager may contact me but that never happened so here I am. My experience was an absolute fail and I’m tired of wasting my money going here when people come in town and want pizza. Below is my experience: I ordered a pizza for pickup on 9-18. I arrived 15 min early as I figured it wouldn’t take the full 75 minutes and I wanted a hot pizza to eat with my family. I walked in to get my pizza 30 seconds after I got the call it was ready. So I grabbed the box and ran out to the car and handed it to my dad. A couple miles down the road he opened the box and said this thing is ice cold. Ok fair enough cold pizza. Secondly I get home 5 minutes later and notice the pizza wasn’t even sliced at all. I don’t own a pizza cutter so I had to cut it with a small steak knife which took forever. Then I had to warm up my oven to temp which took 8-ish minutes and then cook the pizza for another 13 minutes because it was undercooked. It tasted decent but nowhere close to the price tag. If this was a $13.95 pizza I wouldn’t be complaining. If management reaches out to me and wants to make it right I’ll be happy to update my review.

Asked for no onions. Guess what, I got them anyway. BUT, I lived through it and the cheeseburger pizza was delicious!

Not worth the hype. Waiting for 45 minutes at 9 pm for an ok pizza was not worth it. The toppings were so fresh and delicious but the crust was meh. Maybe it was the personal size pizza but can’t say I thought this was the best pizza. The atmosphere of the place is contagious. Great beer selection and lots of space to hang out and enjoy your beer while you wait. If you’re not in a rush and want good enough pizza you’ve got a great spot. Definitely great beer. Ok pizza.

Worth the hype. We had 3 different people tell us we had to eat here and ends up, we can keep them all as friends because they nailed it. Super delicious pizza - they’re all unique and yummy combos. We enjoyed the Timberwolf and the Coney Island and they were soooo tasty. The Timberwolf was the better of the two. The crust is perfectly chewy and perfectly cooked! We both also enjoyed the beers we selected. (I like malty beers and my husband likes hazy IPAs) We are drooling thinking about our next visit. I almost wanted to leave a bad review so the wait times don’t get even longer, but I can’t lie about this one - ya gotta hit it up!

Really good pizza and the beer is excellent

Not my favorite. I’m starting to understand what’s going on here. I reserved my review for 4 years because of the raving reviews and constant badgering of people saying it was good. Except that badgering hasn’t happened for at least 2 years. The pizza is hit or miss and mostly miss. Undercooked pizza and good beer is what I get mostly. I’ve seen it better cooked across other tables and it might’ve been good. It wasn’t terrible so I’m not giving it below a three but I think what most people are saying and feeling now when they leave the restaurant is more along the lines of, “that was not what I expected a highly rated place to be…it was ok.”

Used People Mover to navigate city with a short hike from the bus stop. If you love pizza, this is a must stop in Anchorage!! The craft beers are outstanding as well.

A great local experience- well worth the 45 minute wait, which went by quickly siping drinks by the fire pits. Pizza and salad were both excellent, with prompt and friendly service.

Pizza was pretty good. They do have gluten free. I am from Philly, so I am sure it's great for Alaska. You can even get reindeer sausage topping.

So much fun, so much fun we went for 2 nights while visiting Alaska for a week.

Great spot for lunch or dinner. We enjoyed it so much we went twice during our trip. Pizza was great and the salads too. Korean Wings are also amazing. Service was amazing- friendly and quick. Prices more than fair especially the lunch specials. Highly recommend.

I totally understand why locals love this place and hype it up so much. It is a cool place with good vibes, a sense of community, a good selection of enjoyable food at a reasonable price despite being super popular. However, I have a big “but” coming up. If you are a pizza person that follow pizza rules from the old country rigorously, you would not like it. This is more of a delicious flatbread than pizza. The toppings are creative and flavorful, but there are way too many toppings for a pizza. Pizza don’t need 10 toppings. With the regular dough, I’d say 5 toppings top, 6 if you are truly crazy. Best pizzas are the one with 3-4 toppings. Because extra toppings are giving out too much moisture when cooking in the oven and that makes the dough saggy. You can see from other people’s pizza and photos here, the crust cannot be qualified as pizza crust. Where is the airiness? There are so many complaints here about their pizza being “not cooked” and I believe this is due to the extra toppings. With that being said, I enjoyed the food, I just won’t call it pizza. If I were the owner, I’d just make the regular slightly thicker and call it flatbread.

Great selection of food and drinks. I really liked the option of building your own pizza for just about the same price as one listed. The desserts are a plus! I’ve been in town for just over a week and visited this establishment 3 times. Definitely recommend!

This place is one of the Gems in Alaska and a must for anyone visiting or local. Staff is professional food is good quality. In place where that saturated with pizza places, this is the top of mountain.

Amazing food for a really great price!

It is a good pizza place but not sure if the waiting is worthy. You cannot reserve, it is first come first serve and the waiting time for a table is at least 1 hour. They have a beer garden to hang out during the wait. The service was fast but our waitress was terrible, not sure if she was sick or what, but super slow and disappeared, even to get the check. Pizzas are big so make sure you plan accordingly. The dessert is bigger! So leaving space is you want one

We heard from serval locals to go to Moose's Tooth for the best pizza. It lived up to the hype, and we went twice during our Alaska vacation. Expect a wait, especially in summer. We went at 3pm on a weekday and at 7pm on a Sunday and had to wait both times. My 10 year old loved the Mac n' cheese pizza.

So many unique combinations for pizza! I haven't had a pizza I didn't like yet. My son loves the Mac & cheese pizza, the Santa's little helper is my husbands go-to, and I love that Jalapeno in your Business. We always say we will only get one or two pizza's, but we can't help it and and up getting our own and sharing. Their root beer is the best we have ever had ❤️

Eaten here many times but just not the same. Pizza was under cooked. Topping we’re underwhelming. Bill removed our favorite components but didn’t include our additions. Pretty wack pizza now a days. 3/10 👎 Btw Italian sausage is ground. It is. Always. Don’t serve me reindeer sausage in lieu of.

I have heard lots of good things about Moose's tooth for years. So when I came up to Anchorage for vacation, I knew it had to be one of our first stops. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. There as a 1 hour and 40 minutes wait time on our call in order so plan a head. Also, try the "Elf on the Self".

We got the Vegetarian La Cabrita and Vegan The Backpacker. It took a while for us to get the pizzas and the pizzas were okay. The atmosphere was nice. There is a nice Beer Garden where you can wait till you get a table if there's waiting.

Upon searching for one of the best restaurants in Anchorage, AK, Moose's Tooth Pizzeria showed up at top of the list. This was my first time visiting and I ended up ordering Bread sticks with marinara sauce as an appetizer, the Chipotle Steak Pizza with cauliflower crust, and lastly for dessert, their Mud Pie. To be honest, the bread sticks were quite plain, with no seasoning or anything to add any flavour. They looked to be just baked from being frozen, so the bread sticks were a miss in my opinion. The Chipotle Steak Pizza was tasty, though it could have had a little more generous portion of steak on it as the main topping and selling point. The Mud Pie was my favourite item when visiting and it was very delicious! All in all, I probably would visit again for a different pizza selection off the menu to try and maybe have the Mud Pie again for dessert. Service was good and everyone was friendly, and the restaurant seemed clean and tidy. Thanks!

Great food and atmosphere!! My daughter and I loved our pizza and my husband said the buffalo chicken salad might have been the best salad he's ever had. Our waiter was awesome and took the time to explain the history of the restaurant to us.

So far, it is the best American pizza I tried. Why? The quality of dough is very high and pizza menu is impressive. It’s large, but I impressed by combinations of ingredients. “Brew house “, “Elf helpers” and Veggie forager (calling from my memory, but should be close to the menu names) are the best !

First office place has the best pizza ever. All the flavors I've tried are phenomenal but the ranch is even better. Make sure you buy the ranch to go!!!

Worth going here. Friendly staff and all the pizzas were great. Also had the Korean wings A bit small but very very tasty. Know why it gets such great reviews. Would definitely return. Similar to mellow mushroom back east

Delicious pizza and desserts in a festive and crowded restaurant.

The place was hopping and the food was amazing!! I understand you always have to wait because it is sooooo good! We waited about 45 minutes but it was well worth it! We had a large pizza with half apricot and the other half avalanche. You have to get the Diablo breadsticks. The crème soda is also amazing. We will be back!!

Just WOW! Went there twice while in Alaska. As a NYer, this was top rate! Great take out operation. So organized. The pizza was out of this world.

Overpriced, overcrowded and slow. If you enjoy waiting for a table this is for you. Took forever for food once ordered. Didn't think it was anything special, unless you like 35 to 40 dollar pizza.

Come for the great Pizza and Beer, but don't sleep on the desserts! Easily one of my favorites is the Berry Cobbler (rather, a berry crisp) with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Perfection!

The carnivore and call of the wild are amazing. They have a pretty awesome buffalo chicken salad too! I picked me up a great shirt here too! Lots of cool merch. Everytime I'm in Anchorage, there are multiple meals had here!

Beware the chaos. Food is fine but this place is totally disorganized. Monday at 5 PM. Called a few minutes before arriving, was told it would be a 10 minute wait. Then arrived and was told it would be a 60 minute wait. Why the mismatch? Was told with a straight face: "oh, the people who answer the phone are not connected to us." Ordered take out instead, was told it would be 30 minutes. 10 minutes later, a table was ready. Can we transfer our order over? "No, the take out line is not connected to us." Politely: "This seems like a pretty disorganized system." Total blank stares from four people standing around at the server table. The pizza is okay, not worth the chaos.

Food was fantastic and Sheila was outstanding. I had the cuban sandwich (they use pizza dough for the bread) and it was so good, I could not finish. We also ordered the Rockefeller pizza, so good.

We were told by multiple people that this was a must-eat in Anchorage. Their big draw is the number of “crazy” pizza toppings/styles. We tried Call of the Wild and Cheeseburger Paradise - cheeseburger paradise had more flavor. Both pizzas seemed to be lighter on the sauce side, but both were very delicious. We went on a Saturday night around 7pm and waited an hour for a table. A good selection of drinks and outdoor fire pits to utilize while waiting.

Long waits, which is no problem. But the wait to get food or service after being seated was far too long. Overall great place, but could have had better service.

The pizza is good but prepare to wait a long to sit and then again to get your food. It seems like the place has expanded far beyond their capacity, as they hold a lot of people but food service is very slow.

Went here on a Saturday evening. Lots of people waiting for tables. Got us seated within 15 minutes, service was prompt, courteous, attentive and accurate. Food was great and beer selection was great. Was clear that this is a very well run establishment!! Kudos to the entire team there!!!

Great pizza! The Call of the Wild pizza with reindeer sausage was a fantastic way to get ready for an Alaskan vacation after a seven hour flight. We had to wait only 30 minutes for a table of seven at 8pm on a Wednesday, which gave us time to try put their quick service bar. I'll be back for sure, on my next trip to Anchorage!

Awesome pizza joint with good drinks to boot! We were all hungry and exhausted after our flight, and were delighted to have a piping hot pie and cold drinks. The atmosphere was excellent, and the pizza was fabulous!

Zzzzzzz:waiting for half our order. Two salads brought within fifteen minutes of ordering. Two sandwiches showed up twenty minutes after the salads. Don’t they get it? Make the salads when the sandwiches are near ready so they can all be delivered together and the customers (4) can enjoy thier meal together. You should know better.

Atmosphere was fun and lively. Server was kind and knowledgeable. Unique pizza flavors, and thin crust was perfectly crispy! Highly recommend to anyone in the area.

Maybe the best gluten free pizza dough I've ever had! The service is good considering how crazy busy they get in the summer. Nice they have an outdoor patio waiting area.

Not sure where the hype is about. They are just ok pizza I would order on a busy weekday night. The pizza came to our table warm, you can tell they left sitting for some time before they were served. Flavors were average. Crust was not puffy. There are so many better pizza places in Cali. I am not coming to Alaska and waited for 1hr for this.

Everything about this place was amazing. We got two pizzas with 4 different flavors. All four were amazing. My favorite was the chipotle steak but the Jalapeno Business was a very close second. The moose pie was amazing as were our chips and salsa. Our server Reid was also a rockstar.

It was highly recommended to try it. It was pretty busy, but we had only a short wait. Friendly waiter. It was not bad. The crust was delicious. I did assume that more toppings would be on the pizza. Definitely seems popular with locals & tourists. It is great that it is a locally owned restaurant instead of some enormous chain. It wasn't cheap, but I didn't expect it to be. I don't know if I'd go back wnen visiting unless I'd go with someone who hasn't been. I wasn't a huge fan of the red sauce. The homemade ranch was good though.

It was excellent pizzas to me. We ordered 2 medium (half/half) and one pound wing. This is enough for 4 people, including 2 teens. Nice atmosphere too.

Crazy busy but delicious foods. Very good in flavors.
