Staff needs training. Food great.

We stopped by on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The food choices are great, the food was excellent, and the lasagna was amazing. We walked in, but a reservation would be a good idea to avoid a wait.

First time there! So good. So authentico and they have gluten free pasta! Make reservations...we got very lucky to get in on just a drop in. Staff and super nice. They do have patio dining.

Best Italian food I've ever had!!

My wife and I tried this restaurant for the first time for our anniversary. They gave us a reservation and even accommodated us when we needed to change it at the last minute the food was excellent and so was the service. The owner Ricardo was a delightful person. Chatted with him in Italian. When you come here, bring your appetite because the portion sizes are generous. The gnocchi and the short rib sauce were absolutely to die for, and we also shared the halibut delicately cooked in a delicious tomato sauce with olives and vegetables. We will definitely be back and we will definitely bring our friends Thank you, Ricardo and all your staff!

It was good food, drink. Had a 15 minute wait even though we had reservations. It was worth the wait. Staff was really good. They were very busy and appeared to be understaffed but they were doing their best to inform us of specials and drinks. Will go back Wild Boar ragu and seafood combo was great will go back. Be sure to make reservations!

Bar none the best food in Lacey, Olympia, Tumwater and all of Washington! Everything is PERFECT!. We have never had a bad meal or bad experience here. The servers are tops. We had the cutest brunette waitress who was so bubbly and really sweet! Service was fantastic and quick. We had drinks, lamb meatballs on polenta which my husband and I loved, I had the Wild boar ragu (so good), and we split the chocolate torte. Everything was delicious! The inside is quite small but they make good use of the space and it didn't bother me one bit. Great date night spot!

Great food great service I'll be back again!!

Best Italian place ive ever been everytime I’ve gone never disappointed! Worth the drive out! Authentic, great specials, wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

I don't understand all the raving reviews. I ate there this past weekend and was completely let down. The place looks like something Gordon Ramsey would have a stoke over. Clutter everywhere, poorly setup, and just strange. Christmas light still our front, tinsle inside. Literally, I think they sit maybe 20 people inside and about the same outside. It's tiny. Service was passable. We got the new guy on his first night. I'll give him a pass on that one. The food? Below average. Strange watermelon salad? Literally watermelon cubed with fresh mozzarella cubes mixed in, 5-7 mixed greens on top and some balsamic sprinkled? Weird. They only offer entree sized salads? I wanted a normal pre-entree salad and that wasn't an option. Ended up getting a full sized Caesar, which was okay. Strange shredded mozzarella sprinkled over it though? My carbonara was bland and strange? Clearly using cheap kraft can style parmesean as well. The place is already over priced, but they ad a mandatory 3% fee to every check to cover processing fees. With 18% tip our tab was just under 90$ for 2 salads and 2 questionable entrees. No drinks, just water. The table bread was the best part of the meal. But that was more smashed and crushed than it was actually cut with a knife. I honestly wish I had taken pictures of all of this. I was too stunned with each passing minute. This place is trying to masquerade as a high end Italian joint. It's just not. I csnt in good conscious reccomend this place at all. In fact, save your money and go anywhere else. This place iant worth it and won't be here in a couple years.

Worth all the hype. A stunning, quaint little Italian restaurant on the edge of Lacey, this place reminds me of one of those big city “nooks” that only the locals know about. From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent. Attentive and accommodating (we didn’t have a reservation and apparently those are highly recommended), staff members were great. The food to come was just as good. We enjoyed each a glass of their house wines - a red and a prosecco - with some starters. A summer special included the watermelon salad, which was amazing. The arancini (risotto ball) was also delicious. We didn’t expect such large portions! They were easy to share and a fair warning of the entrees to come. For our mains, we ordered the short rib gnocchi and the classic lasagna. Both were superb - easily among the best Italian dishes we’ve had in the states. The gnocchi was pillowy and the short ribs were clearly braised with love from above. 10/10 recommend. To round out the experience, my husband had never tried a proper cannoli so we ended up with that dessert plate. Pistachio on one end and chocolate on the other with the silkiest cream filling… wow. And with everything we had, the bill was incredibly fair. So after our 3 years here, we had probably the best meal in the Oly/Lacey/Tumwater area yet. Go here. But call a day or two ahead to get on their reservations :)

Our first time here and won’t be our last. We fell in love with this quaint little authentic Italian restaurant. My boyfriends dish (Pappardelle) wasn’t as warm as he would’ve liked, that was the only downfall.

If you want authentic Italia food, do not waste your time anywhere else. Get the specials if you want something special. I love this place, great food, even better staff!

You can tell they really care about your food here and the customers satisfaction. Everything tasted so fresh the Bruschetta was so fresh the cheese was beautifully soft and fresh like a pillow.

Authentic Italian food, very intimate establishment. Carlos was our server and he was very welcoming, the service was excellent and the food came out very quickly, it was hot and delicious! True Italian flavors found here, bacco is a hidden gem in thurston county! Highly recommend!

Apparently it's reservation only if you intend on getting a table during dinner time. Place is tiny so yes call for a reservation or else you won't be one of 10 patrons served. Update June 19th, Figure let's call and see if we can make a reservation. Google number went to instant disconnect notice. Then Google the place and found a different number, and that was down too (which happens to be the number on their sign)! We happen to be nearby, so we swung in and my goodness... we finally got a reservation after hearing about a couple who has a reservation later and want to tie up a dog outside while they dine. For 15 minutes!!

If you're craving authentic Italian food you have to try Bacco Trattoria Italiana on Lacey City. The menu has dishes from different regions in Italy. Great specials as well. I went there last week to celebrate my Birth Day and everything was Amazing. I had the Arancini and the Lamb Meat Balls for appetizer, for Entree I had the seafood pasta and my friend had the Gnocchi Ragu and loved it as well. We finished the night with a piece of Tiramisu (with a candle). Service was great, all servers were very helpful. I can't wait to go back.!!

Great food, even greater staff!!! We had the best experience here, and I really enjoyed the authentic Italian food that is so hard to find. The food was so well prepared I was blown away. The gnocchi are so flavorful and creamy, the sauces are balanced, and you can taste the freshness in every bite. The short rib ragu blew my mind, and the salmon was perfectly cooked. You can taste the care and love that went into making your meal, and you will leave so completely fulfilled and full!! The staff are very attentive and welcoming and just make for a wonderful dining experience!! We will definitely return. Reservations recommended.

My husband told me about this restaurant before we got married. We rode our Harley’s down there on a Friday at 415pm without reservations. Luckily they had an opening. We had an amazing time. The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Are mouths watered at the specials but we ended up ordering off the menu. We had VONGOLE E COZZE IN GUAZZETTO (claims & mussels ) as an appetizer, husband had GNOCCHI AL RAGU DI COSTOLETTE (potato dumplings, served with short ribs ragu’) and I had RAVIOLI ALL’ASTICE (lobster ravioli with vodka sauce) we fought over who had the better entree and couldn’t decide. They were both delicious. We had Tiramisu and cappuccinos to finish the meal and it was unforgettable! We both had sparkling water during our meals as well and were pleasantly surprised at the bill for the phenomenal quality of food! We have dedicated this our new date night place, and can’t wait to go back! Highly recommended for authentic delicious Italian cuisine, best staff and a chef whose recipe book I’d love to steal!

Very nice selection of Italian and Washington wines. (Also, reasonably priced.) The Caesar salad is excellent and plenty for two people. The house made pastas are well worth a try. Both entres we had on our first visit (STRACCETTI CON POLLO E FUNGHI and CAVATELLI CON SALSICCIA PICCANTE) were magnificent (above and beyond our expectations). The Tiramisu is one of the best we have ever had (it was light, fluffy, and very tasty) and we have had Tiramisu all over the world, including many in Italy. In addition, they feature Top Rung beer (a local favorite) which is fantastic. The waitstaff members are all friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. Tay is an excellent server with great knowledge of the menue abd wine list. Overall, a fabulous place for an Italian bite with a great wine or a fantastic brew. Well worth a stop to try out! The photos are of Cavatelli con Salsiccia Piccante (an absolute favorite), Lasagna (delicious!), and Rigatoni Genevese (a fantastic daily special).

It’s the best. My wife and I come here at least twice a month. You won’t find a better Italian restaurant in the area.

went in on tuesday with my best friend, it was fantastic food! chef & crew was so friendly & helpful. we ordered the ribeye & lobster ravioli & it came out delicious! 🤩 5/5 will come back again soon!

Went here with my family and the atmosphere was great. Had the chicken special and it was delicious! There is an amazing cheesecake toped with a blueberry chutney we had for dessert:)

This romantic hideaway has an exquisite menu. Delicious homemade Pastas and desserts. The diversity in the menu is really impressive. There's something for everyone. This Hideaway in Lacey is perfect for special occasions, romantic dinners or just to pick up an amazing home, cooked meal. You're in for a treat!

It was my birthday surprise dinner 😮 One friend ordered lobster ravioli, another Fruit of the Sea. Their presentation was perfect! Another had Gnocchi Sorrentina, while I had Gnocchi with fondue and truffle paste. The Gnocchi were like mouthfuls of cloud, melting in your mouth. Since it was my birthday our dessert was fresh made cannoli. It was delicious 😋 and I can't wait to get back!!!

The service was horrible! It took forever to get our water, 45 minutes to get our appetizer, and 30 minutes after our appetizer to get our meal. My Chicken, vegetables and potatoes were hard and dry. The atmosphere was crowded due to a small area and so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. We spent $150.00 and it was in no way worth it. Will never go back.

Tucked in a small, low end strip mall in nothing area is a true gem. We were taken here by friends who swore it was amazing, and they were right. The owner turns out to be from Italy, goes back often for 'supplies', and it shows in what he is able to create. We have been back often and can recommend the lasagna, the wild boar pasta, and lamb chops for sure. It's a small place, you will need reservations, but worth a visit.

Generally good meal spoiled by a few things. Entrees were great. Sides were meh. Roasted veg was clearly scratch made, but arrived cold. The kitchen misinterpreted our waitresses ticket and misfired an entree. Later we learned that she had to pay for it. Is this standard? Seems like mean spirited management to me.

Top-notch Italian Experience! You can taste the quality of the food and the preparation of it in every bite. We ordered two of the specials on the chalk board that the waitperson takes the time to share before ordering. We ordered the Rib Steak with potatoes and grilled veggies, and the GF pasta dinner with lobster and prawns. Both were prepared perfectly...I enjoyed the pasta most, as it was a lighter meal. And we enjoyed the flourless chocolate torte for dessert. This is a special place that we will visit on special occasions, but we will definitely be back!

The best Italian food in WA hands down. I need to try everything on the menu (almost complete) and I will eventually. I get excited coming to this place and I am regular. If you have a chance to speak with the chef, he is super friendly and gear his story. I will always go here for anything Italian, no other place can even hold a candle to this Italian Gastronomy. I feel like I can drink the olive oil and the bread alone is worth waiting.

Our service was great. We have no complaints, only kudos to the great chef and staff. We will come back again.

Best Italian restaurant in Thurston County!!!!

What a charming small Italian restaurant!! The food is made fresh here, the portions are large and I really liked the hosts we had! My husband and I had a chuckle that the Christmas decorations are still up but it brings a smile to the experience! I will be back!

We found Bacco’s last year while in the area for work, and fell in love. The gnocchi with short rib is seriously one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. We were visiting a little bit north of here again for work this week, and just had to make the drive out for Bacco’s again. Definitely need a reservation, but it’s so worth it to plan ahead. The food and atmosphere is amazing.

We really slept on this restaurant, it is truly something special tucked away in Lacey. The food tasted home-cooked, fresh, and high quality. You can see the chef focused on ensuring each dish is cooked to perfection. The servers were always there when we needed them, and the pacing of our food was perfect. Our pasta dishes were delicious, and we wish we ordered more canolis because those were delectable. 10/10 experience.

My wife and I came here for the first time this evening and wow, this place is phenomenal! We had a reservation, glad we did because the place is packed - but quality and service were still exceptional. Tried an appetizer, wine, some pastas and desserts - the best Tiramisu I've ever had in my life. We can't waIt to come back and try more dishes. Cheers.

Dined in for the first time tonight. We had to wait 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated, but once we had a table, everything was great. The truffle gnocchi was delicious and the arugula salad with pear and gorgonzola was very good, too. We will be back.

The most fantastic restaurant in Washington State. Every dish is cooked to perfection. Chef Ricardo is a master at his craft! Phenomenal service, beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and an attentive staff. I recommend to everyone!

Came in on a busy Sunday night. A bit of confusion with husband and I on the reservation but they accommodated three of us with kindness. Amanda seated us and was our server. She was attentive, knowledgeable and very friendly. I had the chicken parm and husband had the ribeye, both of which were on special menu. MIL ordered scalloppine di vitello al limone off the menu. All three were delicious and came out piping hot with great portions along with sides of the best pasta I’ve ever had the pleasure of gorging myself on. The chicken parm will be in my dreams for the foreseeable future. Thank you, Amanda and the person responsible for my chicken parm dreams. We will be back.

Let’s start with the service. My wife and I have been wanting to check this place out. We had a Sunday where we were going in opposite directions, but both revolving all around Lacey/Olympia. At dinner time, I thought she had made a reservation for us here. I showed up with my 79 year-old mother thinking we had reservations. My wife thought I was going to make the reservations. We were both mistaken. Even though they were full with reservations, people were waiting outside (in unusually frigid temperatures). The server named Amanda found a way to squeeze us into a table. She went above and beyond! She was also our server, and she was punctual, accurate, efficient, and friendly. The food is “off the chain”. I don’t think you can go wrong with the regular menu, and they have a changing special menu full of things that will be your next favorite meal. In short, get yourself to this place as often as you can. Make reservations. I’ll see you there.

If you're looking for Italian, this is the real deal quality place, great food, the specials are awesome. Recommend getting a reservation, it's a small place and is always filled when I go there

Ricardo is amazing and the menu has the best options I’ve seen in an Italian restaurant. Authentic food and pleasant staff. They always have unique and delicious specials. You just can’t go wrong.

Food was mediocre. The atmosphere was cramped. The prices were outrageous. They present themselves as a high-end resturant, but they are located in a strip mall. Do not reccomend them at all.

Delicious food. Not the cheapest, but worth the price.

My husband lived in Italy for 4 years and we have been there at least 6 times. Absolutely fabulous. Just like being there. The homade pasta made my mouth water. I want to go weekly and try everything on the menu!!!

This is hands down the best Italian restaurant around. The food is stellar the staff is amazing and friendly. They are knowledgeable and helpful. The chef is wonderful. I don't like gnocchi but their Gnocchi Tartufata is so good I come back for more. The Pollo Marsala is full of flavor and the chicken is juicy. The chicken and mushroom straccetti is amazing too. For dessert, I've never liked tiramasu. However, theirs is delicious, light fluffy and decadent without being overly rich and sits gently on the stomach. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant.

Still the best lasagna and everything else is also very tasty. Hands down the best lasagna I've ever had. We also tried the wild boar ragu, it was good, but nothing compared to the lasagna.

We went here for dinner tonight and I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. The food was outstanding. The staff was welcoming and helpful and even though they were busy, we were never neglected or rushed. The restaurant was highly recommended by friends and it deserves every accolade. Small intimate place with a waiting line. Call for reservations. If you don't have a reservation wait... it's worth it... The chef is from Italy and so are his recipes. Food excellent. Service great. Nice selection of wines. Terrimisu to die for. And the Cannolis... and all very reasonable.

Our favorite Lacey restaurant. We’re so fortunate to have such a delicious and authentic restaurant close by! This place is better than other options by far. The food is delicious, intimate environment, personable staff. We just love it. It is really small, so reservations are your best bet.

Squisito!! Delizioso! This place is hands down amazing! My husband and I have been missing home and traditional Italian dinners with family since being here in Washington. Bacco Trattoria answered our craving and is by far the best Italian we have had since being here! Every course was delicious and fulfilling. This place truly understands that food is a language to true Italians and they surpass expectations. While we are in the PNW this will be our Italian spot!

The food is authentic Italian and superbly cooked. Hats off to chef Ricardo and his crew. The lamb meatballs and polenta appetizer was a 10! The entrees were excellent. Service was spot on - even though they were extremely busy! This is an authentic Italian experience just as you would have in Italy! Molto Bene!
