Best bagels I've found anywhere in the area, reminds me of what I grew up eating in New Jersey. I drove over thirty minutes from Daytona to get here and it was definitely worth it. The food is great, the prices are very reasonable, and all of the staff were kind and attentive.

We've been going to Bagel King for years and a highlight of every visit to Deltona is bringing a dozen bagels home with us. The other day we got the scallion cream cheese for the first time and were blown away. It's the best scallion cream cheese I've ever had - by far. We may just have to move there.

As a Long Islander born and raised , this place wants the business from people like us up north . Had breakfast there this morning 7/6/2024. No Kaiser rolls , only bagels and cookies . My egg on my sandwich looked like it was prefrozen. McDonalds breakfast is 100 times better than this wanna be New York deli . Plus, I waited for 14 minutes for an egg and cheese bagel and a bagel with cream cheese with literally no line ….i don’t recommend this place if you are a New Yorker…..you will be extremely disappointed

Great bagel spot!!! Fresh bagels daily!! Love you can buy mixed bags of day old bagels. Buy two bags get one free!! Great deal!! So many great flavors of bagels and cream cheeses. Staff is super friendly and to time to explain items I didn’t know! Also line moves pretty fast. Love they have a whole wheat bagel option.

I typically reserve reviews for places that I feel do exemplary work and truly deserve acknowledgement for the work they do. This location certainly checks those boxes. They’ve been in business for quite some time, and it’s easy to see why. The bagels are of good quality, options for sandwich’s and salads are of good variety, the desserts are amazing, the coffee is well stocked and provides different options for enthusiasts, and the place itself is well kept and comfortable. They even allow customers to purchase packs of bagels to take home. They also provide a sample everyday of one of their items to try. The workers have great attitude and every-time I’m there they always provide great service. It’s evident that they place a high standard for themselves and you can hear them communicate when it is busy. I am a college student who likes to go places to sit down and study, and typically cafe types are preferred. In my opinion, there are none in this area better. It doesn’t really get much better than a family owned shop that finds ways to adapt to the times around them and continues to be efficient in their service. I strongly recommend. I love It here.

Very enjoyable brunch experience here. Bagels reminded me of home and the Knish was excellent.

Extremely disappointed in a couple ways. Ordered online 2 sandwiches, 4 bagels, and a tub of cream cheese. Husband picked up the order and got home 30 mins later and found only the sandwiches and sides. Called and got apology and said come back tomorrow and we’ll make it right. Well that consisted of the order already paid and a free pastry. Spent more than that in gas not to mention frustration and disappointment. Ok well the sandwiches were very good, so let’s just see how the cream cheese will be. TERRIBLE!! It is Philadelphia whipped cream cheese. The exact same thing you buy at Publix. Gross. Ruined the entire bagel. Will not be back. Real New York bagels have tangy homemade cream cheese. Too bad because they make the bagels perfectly but without that tang it might as well be Thomas’ pre sliced bagels. Ruined.

Awesome place! Surprisingly large on the inside with lots of seating. The everything bagel was to die for! Seriously the best everything bagel I have ever had.

Been going to Bagel King for nearly 30yrs, since I was a teenager. Never have had a complaint. Francine is such a great soul. Today unfortunately I was disappointed. I got 3 Italian, 3 everything, 3 onion, and 4 garlic, and 2 things of cream cheese. ABSOLUTELY love the garlic bagels, my absolute favorite. Got home and unpacked to put them in storage bags only to find my 4 garlic were in fact PLAIN despite her grabbing them from the bin marked “garlic”. I was like a kid in Christmas who didn’t get a bike. So they are labeled “mystery flavor” cause they have a small amount of sesame seeds on the bottom and completely nude on the top. Very disappointing ☹️☹️

I ordered a Lox on a plain bagel w/knish as a side order. Also a side order of bacon Also ordered a bialy with egg and bacon. I received the lox on a sesame(I'm allergic to sesame) Received NO knish and no bialy egg and bacon nor the side order of bacon. Also received a bag of cookies, Im diabetic, so didnt order those. While a refund is all well and dandy, maybe correctly make the ordered food and deliver it. I went to return the food to Bagel king in Debary but apparently they weren't the store who sent the wrong food. Worker there said go to Deltona, I cant help you...ok if I could give 0 stars I certainly would.

Have been a customer here for like 20 years. Bagels are always fresh and delicious. Breakfast sandwiches are also the bomb. Staff is awesome!!

Amazing! Being from the midwest I always crave a New York bagel and this was perfect. Staff was very friendly and fast service. Breakfast sandwich came with a little sweet treat too.

So, I'm giving 3 stars. On the one hand, I got a few everything bagels and one of them had a piece of glass inside it, quite the painful crunchy surprise. Thought I chipped a tooth. On the other hand...I'll definitely go back, so, there's that.

This place came highly recommended this morning in Sanford327 Facebook, so I made the 15 minute trek.Had a Ham, Egg and Cheese bagel. Bagel tasted stale. I wanted to pay when I ordered, but they insisted on paying afterwards. That would be ok if I had placed my order at a table. But I ordered at a counter. So I then had to wait to be able to pay when I just wanted a quick bite. Both dark roast and house blend coffee were empty. Oh well.

This has to be one of the best place to get an Bacon egg and cheese on a begal...love it

I now make the trip to Deltona Bagel King since the Bagel King in Lake Mary stopped making the bagels in house. It is well worth the trip.

It's a nice, homey, and cozy coffee shop and bakery. The staff were very attentive and friendly. I had ordered a mini potato knish to try it out first with the mustard on the side and a coffee. The knish was so delicious that I ordered another one. This time, the large one. I will definitely come back, this time with my kids, to try their popular breakfast sandwich and their cinnamon rolls.

I have been buying bagels from Bagel King for about 25 years. They have excellent bagels, homemade cream cheese varieties and bagel sandwiches. The bagels taste like bagels from the New York City area. The service is friendly and the location is very convenient for me. Thanks Bagel King!

Absolutely the best BLT in Florida!! Tons of bacon, fresh tomatoes, crisp lettuce, perfect amount of mayo... Bagels are soft , chewy , and delicious!! Come down here and indulge, this place rocks!!

This bakery is a gem! Their bagels are fresh and chewy, the coffee has the perfect kick, and the cookies are pure indulgence, especially the red ones. Plus, the staff is super friendly – it feels like walking into a cozy spot where they genuinely care about your experience. I loved how they were playing Christmas music the whole time too. I was at my dentist office, which is in the same plaza as Bagel King. There was this great aroma of food, I asked the dental hygienist what's that smell? She said bacon and bagels. I had never been to bagel king before. Well, as soon as my dental appointment was done, I quickly headed to bagel king. Boy oh boy!! So freaking delicious. I've been in Deltona for 20 yrs, and had never been there... I've now been like 5 times in the past week. My husband too. Love love love

I loved the bagels here! In fact, I went with one friend, and then I took another friend back a few days later! The first time I went, I got an everything bagel with garlic cream cheese. Although it was really good, the garlic flavor was a little too strong for me, which, considering I typically love a lot of garlic, is saying something. The next time, I got a cheddar bagel with regular cream cheese. My friends got a cheddar bagel with regular cream cheese and a garlic bagel with garlic cream cheese. They both loved their bagels as well. Each time, we got a lot of cream cheese, which was awesome. For parking, there is a good amount of parking, but be mindful of parking direction and potholes. The actual building was nice and cozy, and the service was decent. The second time I went, our bagels took a long time to come out, even though they weren't really busy. I t is also worth mentioning that the drinks such as coffee or hot chocolate, are self serve. I had to make my own hot chocolate from packets. This wasn't bad, but it is nice to know this before you pay for it. Overall, this was an amazing little bagel shop, with unique bagel and cream cheese flavors. I will definitely be recommending this to others, and I will be returning!

Oh my gosh.....this place had me on sensory overload. Extensive selection of daily made bagels & spreads. Service was excellent and friendly. Only 15 minutes away from our home.

Bagel King is always a good idea, the staff is great, friendly and always pleasant. The bagels are damn near close to those great bagels I remember when I was younger in NYC.

I must tell you that education in customer service in America 🇺🇸 is nonexistent, I believe school is failing our people! Anyways no good morning to start off then Cashier the elderly lady has that I don’t want to be her face! Well ordered a Cinnamon Raisin toasted bagel with eggs, ham and cheese and When handed to me I ask for salt and pepper packets and jelly and nonexistent as well! If you gonna have a business please make sure you have all your food items available like ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard, salt, pepper etc together please shameful to say no to a customer and walk them off 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Deltona, FL. Homey and decorated for the season like the best country cafes in America still do. Clients of all ages and stages enjoy the breakfast and lunch sandwiches here at the indoor and outdoor tables and the menu is more extensive than just their 17 kinds of fresh authentic bagels. They also make bialys, bagel dogs, cinnamon rolls, cookies and rugelach; salads and mega-sandwiches. It’s counter serve with fountain drinks, iced teas, a few kinds of drip coffee and a couple flavored creamers and half and half cups. Carla and a younger server gave me a perfect Southern welcome (“Coffee’s around the corner darlin’,” “Pizza bagel’s bakin’,” “Ok, sweet beh beh.”) I loved the autumn decorations on the window. I bet it’s cozy and cheery in December. If I lived here I’d be eating at a table here every week. It just feels so homey. I got the Pizza Bagel and they loaded on fresh mozzarella. Mmmmmm. They have good side dishes but do not order the potato salad unless you like Reser’s style, because I found it not much different, but hey this isn’t Potato Salad King. They put all the love into the bagels.

Good & quick service. Everything looks yummy, and though it’s good, the bagels are not as good as Einstein Bagels. I also had their cinnanon stick… again looks yummy to your eyes, but this pastry is basically bread, sugar & cinnamon. There is no rich buttery flavor, hint of salt, or depth of flavor in any of their baked goods, as opposed to European or fine home made pastries. The flavors are a bit flat for me & their breakfast pastries look & taste pretty amateurish… basically perfect for kids or patrons with an unassuming palette. I love baking, so I’m a tough critic with high expectations. But, if you live close to the area, then this a good spot for a decent bagel.

If you are interested in delicious multi-flavored NY style bagels with assorted cream cheeses as well as nice bakery goods and other specialty items, stop by one of their places; they have a nice menu. We dropped by the Deltona location after a tip and were delighted to enjoy a fresh cup of self-serve coffee and a great toasted bagel with generous cream cheese. The owner and staff were really nice and the environment was clean and comfortable. They also have a web site and offer ordering for pickup. We were so happy to have found this place. We will most definitely return.
