Count your change! Either the owner can’t do simple math, or she intentionally overcharges. The first time I thought it was a simple mistake, after several more times being overcharged (25%), I’ve taken my business elsewhere.

Oh myyy! Bakers Dozen have the best donuts I ever tasted. They are fresh, hot, fluffy, & very good just how I like them. You won't be disappointed at all.

I've been getting these donuts since I was a kid. Favorite donut shop, of all the donuts I've ever had. I've had other donut places travelling and Baker's Dozen (and Takeaway Donuts in Boutte) are the BEST. Chocolate covered with sprinkles.

Had the most amazing experience at Bakers Dozen this morning! The owner is always super nice, the staff members are fast and efficient, and did I mention the fresh hot donuts... Phenomenal!!!

I arrived an hour before they closed, and the menu options had certainly decreased. Obviously, they are very popular and I will get there sooner next time. Great donuts.

My BF loves the chocolate sprinkle donuts and this is the only place he gets them because they are the old school sprinkles. The last dozen we got was pretty bad. We threw away 9 of the 12 because the donuts tasted like chemicals. We will try again 1 more time just to make sure. I'll definitely post again when we do.

I live in Slidell and work in Jefferson. When Mr George of George's donuts passed he took the absolute best hot glazed donuts in the world with him. Bakers Dozen's are a very close second, dare I say just as good as I remember. Definitely worth the drive for those hot glazed!!

These might be the best doughnuts I have ever had. I think they put something on the doughnuts that make you crave them fortnightly!

Been eating Baker Dozen donuts for years. These are the best Donuts. We drive here which takes us longer. But these Donuts just melt in your mouth. Will not eat other Donuts.

I've changed my review to reflect my most current experiences. They have done much better with consistency of experience since my last review. Donuts have been what I would expect from a good don't shop the last several times I have been. Lines are really long, but that is not new. If you want good donuts, then you need to be willing to wait.

It all started a few months back when my church was giving out free doughnuts after church. I took one and on the first bite knew that this was the greatest doughnut I’d ever had. I had already gotten into my car, so I wasn’t able to ask where it was from. Since that day, I’ve thought about that doughnut a lot. Last week I decided to go around tasting at doughnut shops with my husband to find it. After a few with no luck, I decided to ask around at church, where do they normally get doughnuts? Last Sunday, multiple people guessed Bakers Dozen. I came home this afternoon to a little bag of bakers dozen on my kitchen island (from my husband)- finally the moment! Could this really be it??? Alas! It was! I ate the them quicker than I’m proud to admit and my oh my. I have never had a better doughnut. Never. Unbelievably good.

I went to the donut shop at 9:50 this morning there was out of donuts I think if you close at 11:00 you should have Donuts at least till 10:30 poor business someone need to think about the money they are missing out on and this didn't happen more than once on a Friday 10 -06-23

The Absolute Best Doughnuts in the Greater New Orleans Area. This Hot Glazed Doughnuts should be the high standard that the rest should steer towards!!! I wish they would put one uptown! It would do well since all of the other doughnut places are garbage (pointing towards District Donut).

I love the hot glazed and maple doughnuts at Bakers Dozen! The doughnut is so light and airy, with just enough glaze. Brandi and her team are very welcoming upon entry. They offer exceptional service with a smile. I also have a couple of their cute burnout tank tops and coffee tumblers. I highly recommend Bakers Dozen!

Great donuts . My grand children love them . They close at 11 A.M. , so you have to get there early for the best selection . After church on Sunday , there is always a line of customers .

This is bar none, the best Donuts in the city. Period. I’ve read some of the reviews… the problem is it’s a very popular business. You want the best donuts. It comes with a wait.

All the sudden if you're running late to come from over an hour to spend your money with them it's an issue to show up 3-5 min late- although they always have people still in the building and it hasn't been an issue in over 10 years all the sudden the owner has an issue taking my money. This really upsets me because I was assured years ago they're always there until 1130, and so long as it's preorder being a few minutes after 11 when we run into traffic wouldn't be an issue. Guess the owner has enough money now and is no longer worried about out of town loyal customers...... now it's time to look for a new donut shop. They're not nearly worth the nasty attitude the female owner has grown into.

I went right before it closed so there wasn't much to select from. For what I ordered I was overcharged a dollar and didn't receive any change. My order was $10.50 it should have have been either $9 or $9.50. I paid $11 and didn't get change. The lady I paid took the money and then went on to the next customer.

Tried to come at 5:45 in the morning but the beggars were out got out of my vehicle and they asked for a dollar I didn't realize we were in New Orleans makes me feel extremely uncomfortable with loitering and begging and stupidity in the streets

This is one of the best donut shops i have been to. Even though a baker's dozen is 13 donuts, i never seem to get the 13th one. Lol. Anywho, i plain donuts are good, especially when hot but the best one so far that i have had is the BUTTERMILK! OMG. Right texture, thickness and sweetness for that hot cup of Joe. Never had their coffee because I brew my own. I definitely recommend this place!

Told them to give me a dozen of mixed donuts and to lean towards the chocolate side, that was a mistake. I got 1 chocolate covered and 1 chocolate glaze. They were very busy and I figured it would be quicker for them, my mistake for thinking they would give me what I asked for.

5.0 stars. It doesn’t get any better. Sure the donuts are a quality product but the people who serve the customers are the best. I pass up donut shops to come here because of the consistent customer service and the consistent speed of service.

Sure, there are some really good donut shops in town, but this place has my heart. Their oil is always clean, flavors are bright and pure; I've never had a single donut that didn't hit the mark dead on. Whenever I bring a dozen or two to the restaurant where I work, all of my co-worker's faces light up--and a good handful of these folks are accomplished pastry chefs. On top of that, the crew is always smiling (even behind their masks), professional, and courteous. Parking is pretty gnarly, and lines can be long, so be prepared for that. But in this case, it's worth the little bit of hassle.

We ordered donuts for our wedding from Bakers Dozen and loved the outcome! We had so many compliments about the donuts and now have a new favorite donut shop in the NOLA area. So tasty! Brandi was incredibly helpful as well and even made sure the donuts were in theme with our wedding colors!
