I discovered this little Guyanese bakery on Old Winter Garden road half a block off Kirkman road. They have traditional baked goods and an added bonus of specialty donuts only on Saturdays. The service was done with friendliness and a smile. The young lady serving me answered all my questions about the pastries. They have been added to my list of bakeries. ☺️

The bakery place food was excellent. I did a big order for my prayers and everyone loved the food. Channa curry and eggplant was so delicious. We also got pastry and roti. I don't know why this place sells their bakery items in other stores. There's no cheese in the cheese roll, there's no pine in the pine tarts. You're eating mostly dough. We also go elsewhere for the bread. I don't buy from bakery place anymore. I've discovered better places

Visiting relatives in Orlando Florida I wanted to take back some Caribbean bakery items like cheese rolls and various sweets and we visited the Bakery Place. Small location but neat and clean with fresh food make daily. You can order additional meals to be prepared for take-out. I found out the owner was a patient of my father years ago!

Bought chicken Patties from here 2 days ago and haven’t stayed off the toilet since. I have major food poisoning. Chicken has to be kept either below 40 degrees or above 140 when sitting out. Not on top of the counter.

The bakery place in old winter garden is one of my favorite places to go for authentic Caribbean baked goods. I am honored to have been a regular customer for over a decade , so I am very much acquainted with their Salara , butterflap , buns , plait bread, pinetarts , blackeye cake , ect. Prices for various products is fair and very competitive. The Bakery is small , but provides vital baked goods to the majority of Central Florida West Indian community run stores. It is very difficult for niche businesses like this to continue to operate , but one only needs to interact once with their owners to understand the love baked into their products. The success of their operation is based on honesty , pride, skills and a strong desire to provide the community with nostalgic and authentic quality baked goods reminiscent of our motherland. Come to The bakery Place or call ahead for a delicious experience.

Love the staff. Very polite and friendly. They treat us like family. Love their braided bread, which comes in wheat or white, as well as their buns, which are coconut cookies.

DELICIOUS! The service was friendly & In the first bite I could taste the pride and love they put into their baking! My mother and I got cream cheese cookies along with coconut bread. The bread we purcesed is soft, fluffy, and perfectly moist. The cookies had a lightly crisp exterior with a sweet and soft interior that meltes your mouth! YUM!

I loved coming here when I was living in Orlando. Almost every Sunday, I always ordered the Potato and Casava balls and just eat them right in the store, lol I personally know one of the owners of this bakery so I just went to loiter lol... She didn't mind, but I was always eating so it was a win win 😁
