Food is amazing. I would be here once a week if I lived near. Their turkey sausage is incredible and the best I’ve ever had.

Been going here for five years, and it’s always a hit! I take out of town family here and they always ask to come back next time they’re in town. Great price and also the best biscuits ever! Sometimes the service can be slow on super busy days but no different than most places.

I’d give this place ZERO stars if it was an option. My husband and I placed a to go order since we have a small baby and it was easier to eat out than inside. I walked into the restaurant to get our to go order and right off the cuff, the server looked unfriendly and visibly agitated. I was not greeted, or made to feel welcome at all. I quickly left and was let down since we only stopped here due to the good rating. We also love supporting the local places. We get into the car and after I took a few bites I see a DEAD COOKED FLY on my eggs. I take the food back into the restaurant and have to talk to the grouchy server once again. She asks if I want it remade in which at that point I do not. And she said “it happens, sorry” as if again, I’m inconveniencing HER and like this is possibly a normal occurrence for them. The entire event left us feeling disgusted, and the lack of customer service made us feel even worse. I can’t with good faith recommend this place. And save yourself from dealing with the rude lady that works there.

Brunch on father's day at noon and this place was slammed!!! There's a good reason why, the servers are all attentive and friendly, the food is made with love, and the prices are fair. This was our 2nd time eating here for breakfast. We will now have to try dinner!

I’m writing this review to let you know to please wash the mugs before serving it to customers. I noticed a red stain on my mug and I tried wiping it off and it’s lipstick! Food was good though!

I have lived in the area for over 15yrs and never been in . I finally went and have been many times now. The food is soo good! Especially the Chorizo. I love Chorizo and most places around here don’t have it or they some sad excuse for it. They have a huge selection of hot sauces as well not just your typical Tabasco. They have ghost pepper, habanero etc. The omelets are HUGE and stuffed! You definitely get a lot of food for the price. I HIGHLY recommend them, but according to the reviews everyone loves them!

I tried something different today. The blueberry granola pancakes were chock full of blueberries and were huge! Certainly a well loved place for locals, but also tourists and other people from OTB (over the bridge).

Absolutely worthless staff. Saw our waitress one time and waited an hour for food. No drink refills after the first drink. Watched everyone around us get served even though they came in after us. Good food though, would totally get take out if I had three hours to spare.

Must comment on this morning's marvelous Breakfast Bowl. Grilled chili-rubbed chicken & shrimp with an exquisite chipotle sauce, excellent grits; unlike any normal breakfast dish I've ever had. Memorable. Lesson: Go to Banana River if you enjoy trying masterfully created new interpretations of classic American dishes; Emerson's ever-evolving culinary imagination appears to have no limits.

Is the second time that I've been there for breakfast breakfast is very good price is great can't beat we will be back the problem with this place is too slow I have to wait over half an hour to get my meal that was my breakfast and it's too slow for me this place is not big so they should be able to push it out quickly but they don't they need new kitchen help that's what they need people are waiting tables not cleaned off seems like they don't like to clean tables off they'd rather have people wait in the bathrooms are terrible man you got to do something about that and clean the utensils I mean the sugar bowls everything they're all sticky it needs to be looked after more often instead of just collecting the money off the business you going to lose business I'm telling you

If you haven't been to Banana River Cafe After Dark you are definitely missing out! They only do it Thursday- Saturday from 5pm-9 pm. I tasted the pasta dishes and said "finally! Some delicious pasta dishes in our area!" The rolls with lemon herb butter is delicious as is the cesar salad. We sampled some bolognese and when I say it was an out of body experience it was! Lol! The chicken Piccata was so fresh lemony and the capers added a burst of flavor! The pork belly pasta was exquisite with sundried tomato and mushrooms! The service is excellent as usual so kind and friendly they truly make you feel at home! We also had some red velvet cake with a sauce on top it was the perfect dessert to finish off the meal! I definitely recommend coming to Banana River Cafe their breakfast/lunch is awesome that's for sure but dinner was an absolute treat!! Definitely recommend! Loved it and will be coming back soon!!!

We love it here! The food is really good, people are nice and the prices are great. The power bowl is awesome, ingredients feel very fresh specially the avocado, pico and I think they make their own biscuits which are very buttery and have the perfect texture. I really enjoy the breakfast potatoes and anything on the menu that has chorizo so far has been very good! Definitely recommend.

My wife was getting her hair cut nearby, so I went in for a late breakfast. Really fun menu! I settled on a Mexican omelet. It is a large portion, came with toast and potatoes. The omelet had chorizo, mild green peppers, guacamole, and sour cream. Very good, I couldn’t finish it all. With an excellent cup of coffee, just over 15$ before tip. The facility is fun, restrooms clean, friendly staff.

We stumbled upon this place and it quickly became a favorite brunch spot for us. Great food and a wonderfully friendly atmosphere!

We met our cousin for a late breakfast. She lives around the corner but had not been to the cafe in several years. She ordered the Americana Bennie, my wife chose the Bacon Sea Salt Caramel French Toast and I had the Greek omelet. What delicious food, large portions and great service. We will definitely go back again and again and our cousin found a new neighborhood spot!

We had an enjoyable Christmas eve breakfast with family. Everyone meal arriving in timely manner. The service was great. The only reason the food didn't receive a 5 is my wife's meal was cold but good and some how half of my English muffin was hard as a rock. With said We'll be returning soon.

Get the Cody Omelette and live life to the fullest. Named after original owners son. It's not to be missed. Then grab a sack of bagels next door to go.

Patrick Dr., Satellite Beach, FL 32937 5 Stars I swore four years ago I would never go back, yet here I am like fish from yesterfang in the parking lot of a restaurant that at one time (under previous ownership) was my number one breakfast place in Brevard County. After it was sold, it was turned into a joint that wallowed in bad food and even worse service. As I said, that was four years ago. I have since deleted that review. Now, I can say that it is safe to return to the water, but I get ahead of myself. What changed? The new owner/chef is a CIA graduate who did his externship at Michelin Star restaurant Gramercy Tavern in New York City. Emerson Krause turned down a position at the famed restaurant upon graduation to return home and bring Brevard a taste of things seldom sampled in this part of the Sunshine State. I can safely speak for all of my fellow Floridians on the Space Coast when I say, “Thank you, Emerson and welcome home!” After being seated at a delightfully decorated table (I love the paint scheme on the chairs), we were approached by a charming lady named Nicole. Nicole was outstanding in every way a service professional should be. I asked Nicole for an order of the Bacon Sea Salt French Toast, one Texan Potato Stack and a San Antonio Biscuit Bennie. Snapping a few quick pics of the warm environs, I sat back, soaked in the peaceable atmosphere and awaited Nicole’s return. The aromas were enticing to such a degree; it was all I could do to take some pictures before digging into the edible artwork before me. First to saunter across my palate was a taste of the Bacon Sea Salt French Toast. One taste and I was deep in Hog Heaven. That bacon! While I love “meat candy” more than almost any other animal flesh, that is not what set this order of the tried and true breakfast staple of French Toast apart. It was the bread and execution. This bread was fresh, thick and griddled to a delightful golden brown. The outside had just the right amount of crunch, while the inside was airy, fresh and wonderfully warm. I could eat this every day and never tire of it. Heaving a sad sigh of regret, I moved on to the next dish to be sampled, the Texan Potato Stack. Every Potato Stack is served with eggs over easy on herb roasted potatoes and topped with jack cheddar cheese sauce with your choice of toast or biscuit. The Texan came with added chorizo, onion, peppers, salsa, guacamole and sour cream. One bite and again, I was done. The flavors cascaded down my gullet like so many drops of gastronomical gratification. The last to dance across my taste buds this morning was the San Antonio Biscuit Bennie. I won’t bore you with any more details; suffice it to say that this was on par with the rest of the meal. Everything was cooked to perfection and the flavor combinations were unparalleled in a breakfast biscuit (if this still qualifies as such). The Big Boy says, “If it is breakfast or lunchtime, stop what you are doing and go there right now.”

Jackson was very friendly . I felt like I was at a friend's house have brunch. The restaurant was decorated very nice. Food was great. My family say I am a restaurant snob/Karen. I have been in the food service industry for most of my life. I really enjoyed my time there, and my sister said the bathroom was perfect and very cutely decorated.

My husband and I, along with my Mom, arrived at Banana River Cafe after our sunrise elopement ceremony on the beach on Saturday morning. We were immediately greeted and told to sit where we like. It gave “family-feel” local vibes, which I love. The service was great, staff was friendly and food came out promptly. We always had refills of coffee, tea and water. They use Apocalypse Roasters for their coffee and if you’re local, you know it’s bomb! The food is classic diner-style, which I prefer. They offer a specials menu as well, but we didn’t eat off it. The biscuit and sausage gravy is one of the best I’ve ever had. A super unique feature is the “hot sauce spot” which has a variety of sauces to choose from, and as a hot sauce girly, I loved this. Another fun thing to note is they display local artists’ work and it’s available for purchase! The bathrooms were spacious and clean. Another customer graciously paid for our food, which was completely unexpected, we felt very blessed. She also gave us the little ducks seen in the photo. It was a special moment for us. We loved this spot, and even though we live about 30 min away, we will definitely be back.

I googled places to eat breakfast close to us, and came up with this restaurant. It is a small place. They had one server for the whole place. However, he did a great job. The food was amazing. I like how instead of an omelet you can do the scramble. My kids enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. The portions was well worth the price. We will definitely come back.

I have been here several times for breakfast. I really enjoy this place and especially the bacon Carmel French Toast. The last time I was there, it was not good. Tasted like it had been made earlier that morning or the day before and reheated in a microwave. Anyone who has reheated a bread item in a microwave knows what I'm talking about. It is kinda rubbery and stale tasting. The first few times, it was to die for but this last time was a true disappointment

August 2023 update: still awesome, might very well have the best breakfast food in Florida! --- Love this place! Food and service is awesome. If I lived here I would be there weekly!

Our 1st time here and was blown away by the blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes, wonderful food ,service and ambience,worth the trip from viera, we will be back.

If I had wall space, I would have purchased 2 of the pieces. It was totally unexpected for a small strip mall diner on an interior arterial road. Very woth seeking out!

Order you gotta try: strawberry dark chocolate ganache french toast (specialty menu), side of eggs and CHORIZO w/ side of pico and guac. And accompany with chipotle sauce (which ain't too hot). So so good. 10/10

Oh my goodness!!! Just had lunch..totally awesome. The chef Emerson created the most awesome ground beef sliders..a must have! Kumari was my server, attentive and sweet, very efficient! Neo is very personable and a great cook! Definitely recommend if your Beachside!

Good is always fabulous. Service is hit/miss. Unfortunately imho all servers in an establishment have an obligation to be kind and helpful to all customers regardless of whether or not they are assigned their table. It's just common courtesy and earns larger tips provided assigned tables don't suffer for it.

I almost don't want to tell anyone about this place. I am a little greedy and reluctant to make it more well known. All I gotta say is try the Lemmon blueberry ricotta pancakes. Doesn't need syrup. The biscuits are insane. Coffee is roasted from apocalypse coffee. Prices are reasonable for beachside. We heck just try anything . You won't be disappointed. BTW the owner is a graduate of Culinary Institute

MULTIPLE HAIRS in food—-Will NEVER return. Lived here 4 yrs now, always went to Bagel World (next door), but decided to finally try Banana River Cafe b/c I’m all about supporting local businesses…Ordered food to-go and was instantly a little put off by the younger guy at the register who took my order, wearing a black bucket hat—it was COVERED in white pet hair….order took a pretty long time, but I brushed it off…order wasn’t right when I finally got it. Left the place….wasn’t until I opened my to-go box picking up that first bite…I noticed a piece of, what looked like pet hair…moved the remaining food in the box, to find two more strands…Very, VERY disappointed. Recommend either Bagel World (always delicious and very military friendly!) or…just 2.7 miles South is another AWESOME local place called Scrambled Egg Cafe (also pet friendly, however I’ve never seen hair in my food!)….

First time in after hearing a lot about the place. For breakfast had a power bowl with brisket... The meat was moist, hint of smoke and falling apart. Ingredients were fresh. Coffee was hot. Friendly wait staff. Returning soon!

Our waitress managed the whole place by herself, but still made us feel very well taken care of. The special sliders were incredible, and the potatoes with rosemary still haunt my dreams. So good. Can't wait to go back!

I have NEVER had a bad meal here. Their sweet or savory brunch options are always outstanding, their prices are very reasonable, and they serve Apocalypse Coffee which is a great local roaster.

Banana River Cafe is an unassuming hidden gem nestled between other small businesses in a strip shopping center. The cafe has a beach vibe with sea shells and other nautical artwork on the walls. One would not expect such outstanding quality and variety of the food served at this cafe. The turkey sausage was unequivocally the best I have ever had. The savory and sweet breakfast items are absolutely unbelievable! The staff are friendly, service was spot-on, and the food was shocking fantastic!

My daughter just flew in and we decided to take her to our favorite breakfast spot! She absolutely loved the breakfast bagels. I had not been inside before, typically my husband picks up our orders. Oh my goodness what a beautiful, relaxing cafe! The walls and plants are beautiful. I will definitely return often for an outdoor breakfast!! Amazing food and atmosphere, staff are incredibly friendly as well.

Located in Satellite Beach, Florida, this place is an artistic little gem that locals know about and others should as well. Located in a strip shopping center, they offer breakfast and lunch all day. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. Breakfast offerings include the usual breakfast fare, but with a twist. For example, they have French toast, and then they also have brown sugar and almond, bacon-sea salt-caramel French toast. We highly recommend trying which ever they have on the board when you go. You can also try one of the many different kinds of omelets. The Coffee beans are brought in from a local coffee grinder. There’s French toast, and then there are brown sugar and almond, bacon-sea salt-caramel French toast. Lunch offerings are innovative, with a healthy approach. The restaurant itself is a feast for the mouth and the eye as well. Check out one of the many hand painted chairs located throughout. The place is small, so space is limited but there is parking in front.

Surprisingly large menu of very well prepared, delicious breakfast for a reasonable price. They actually grind their locally roasted beans just before brewing, making for an unusually good bottomless coffee. Excellent service and relaxed atmosphere, too!

Love the menu here. Breakfast all day and they have a special menu that changes from time to time. Have a mix of traditional dishes and some Mexican and Asian inspired flavors, along with healthy vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options. Been twice already and looking forward to the next time! Meal in the picture for only $11 (I had eaten half the burger already)

Have been here twice so far. The food is superb and the staff is friendly but not overbearing. Very relaxed atmosphere and a good sit down and quiet conversation place. A perfect out of way place for one to four people to relax and just enjoy the food.

Obviously known for being a solid breakfast spot. But don't sleep on lunch! Rosemary chicken salad with herb potatoes was so good! Probably one of the best sandwiches I've had in a while!

I meet a group of friends here every week. We sit and drink coffee for a while before ordering. They are patient with us and keep the coffee coming. This is just a great local spot for breakfast with good food and fair prices

Like a lot of other reviewers this cafe was not on my radar, until we were hungry, on a Sunday morning and the fancy restaurants on the island were all full. This popped up on Google Maps and it is a real diamond in the rough. All my favorite Tex-Mex combinations of breakfast meals are well represented. My favorite is a bowl, with pulled pork, fried egg, black beans, salsa and an avocado along with a biscuit and some hash browns. I'll grab some pictures next time...

Food all tasted like it was cooked with old oil. Too loud inside. Even the kids mentioned it being too loud. Would not recommend for the price.

My breakfast quesadilla was very delicious, and about the price you'd expect to pay at a typical diner. I would come here again!
