Ordered chicken pad Thai and green chicken curry for pick up. We asked for Thai hot, but it wasn’t spicy at all. Green curry had amazing flavor and recommend ordering again. Pad Thai could’ve been better.

Yummy food! I got mixed veggies with shrimp and spring rolls. Super flavorful and fresh. Great healthy option! Looking forward to trying the other meals.

Best chicken noodle soup and spring rolls.

The service was excellent, but the food not so good. I got the Tepanyaki--rice was mushy and flavorless and the chicken was dry. The only way we had to add flavor was to add any of the sauces they served. And ofc, the best part were the fried appetizers.

Wonderful place to eat!! This is our first time here, even though we have been to Greenville many times. We found this little gem and fell in love!! Hazel our server was so sweet. And helpful with the menu!!! You will not regret visiting!!! The food was tasty and as spicy as ordered. Yum!!

Wow, what a meal!! My first visit here and I regret not coming sooner!! The colorful food, seasonings that greet every bite, the ambience and the staff. Perfection. Can't say enough, only that this restaurant is a Must!

Totally under-rated. We loved all the food we had. There have been not many people there which was very surprising considering how good the food is. We will come back soon as there is so much more to try.

Service and atmosphere are fantastic. My wife (who is from Thailand)and I ordered the Panang Curry, Crab rolls, and Miso Soup. The Panang wasn't Panang at all and the Miso was extremely salty. The mood of the place was quite nice and so was the music. After notifying our waitress, we still were charged for the half eaten Panang. Won't be eating here again.

Fantastic! This is among the best Thai food I've ever tasted. The Pad Thai is outstanding (I find it hard to move on to any other dish, it's so good!). My wife always offers the Panang Curry, which is equally delicious. It's not just the food, though. The staff is polite, friendly, and attentive. They're really nice people! I wish I could eat here all the time... EDIT: We went back again last night for a date night, and everything was just as good as it was last time! I strongly recommend this restaurant for excellent Thai food. EDIT 2: Another date night, and more great food and great staff. Our problems were with the atmosphere of the restaurant. The decor is - currently - very drab, and really doesn't give the feel of a restaurant this good. The music - last night, at least - also doesn't live up to the quality you'd expect from a decent Thai restaurant. It was some sub-'Kenny G' saxophone cover album that, frankly, wasn't very good. Also, why do we need televisions in restaurants? I can see why you'd want them in sports bars, but in good restaurants like this it really detracts from the ambience they're trying to put across. Anyway, in summary: Go for the food and the service. Try to overlook the uncomfortable chairs and the unfortunate decoration... but definitely go.

This place is terribly underrated!! The food portions are humongous, the food quality is amazing, quick, made fresh and to order, the customer service is amazing, and the place is kept clean and decorated! The curry is so flavorful and authentic, and the noodles are so delicious and bursting with flavors! I couldn’t recommend a better place to eat in the area then here!

The very first thing I ate, a spring roll, was delicious-until I bit down on a piece of GLASS. That’s right, there was broken glass in my spring roll. Why we didn’t get up and walk away then, I just don’t know. The rest of the food was just ok at best, and hard to trust that it was even safe to eat. I would have expected a manager to come speak to us to apologize. We weren’t charged for the spring rolls, which was the bare minimum we could have expected. The server seemed mystified when I showed her the bit of glass, and apologized, but that wasn’t really adequate. I suppose the Christmas music in February should have served as a warning. The new El Salvadoran/Thai fusion (?) menu items may have been another. Do they eat glass in El Salvador? We will not be going back-ever.

Very Best Thai in South Carolina! This is our favorite restaurant for Thai food in all of Greenville, SC. I lived in the Far East for 2 years and visited Bangkok many times. For over 30 years this restaurant has been our favorite for Thai food...plus they offer beer or wine at very reasonable prices, which is impossible to find at other resturants. The choices of dishes is extensive and always well prepared and with a sliding scale of 0 to 10+ for spice heat .level. The chiefs have changed over the 33 years of course, but the last change was very well planned over the course of more than a year, as the menu choices are HUGE! We do dinners, but they have also very reasonable lunch choices. Thai food is very dependant on the quality of the raw ingredients, especially the fish, and they have always delivered outstandingly as well. Try 3 buddies some time for a complete meal which incudes a very special Thai salad!

Worst Crab Rangoons I’ve ever in MY LIFE. No idea in what WORLD crab rangoons have YELLOW MUSTARD in them, but I have never been more disappointed and disgusted in my life. So sad. The outside wasn’t too bad but couldn’t take more than one bite.

I am a huge thai food lover so basically tried every time and Simpsonville and Greenville. The Thai restaurant on Augusta road with my favorite but the people were so rude when you went ate there there was like kick you out of the restaurant and treat you really poorly if you came in 30 minutes before it closing. Here they're completely different everybody is so kind and the food is actually better. I'm so glad I stumbled upon the spot it is really truly delicious. Now I don't have to deal with the people at the Thai restaurant that are so rude I can come to a place that has even better food better atmosphere and better personality of their staff. Thank you bangkok are delicious. You need to figure out your pricing. They are the best Tom Kai and Tom yum soup in the best in the upstate. Please check this out as you will not regret it their soup is a beyond amazing

I really liked the dish I ordered and it was a teriyaki with beef. The food was very good and also very healthy with fresh vegetables. Everything was very delicious. It is a very relaxing environment. We will definitely be back for more. ☺️☺️

The food was very good, I love the drunken dish and the coconut shrimp, my husband ordered the amazing and the springs rolls and he loved them. We recommend this place to all people who like Asian food and the best thing is that they have Latin food.

Lunch was delicious, I loved the dish I ate, I really like Thai food and this is undoubtedly one of the best places to try in Greenville. The Thai sticks are one of the tastiest desserts I've ever tried and the fresh rolls are very delicious. Finally come to this place.

We ordered for the first time, Saturday evening 11/11/23. My son picked up the order was almost home and realized they forgot to give us the spring rolls. The spring rolls were saturated with oil. I ordered the Singha noodles and paid extra $2.00 for eggplant. The dish did not have ANY eggplant!. My son ordered the Pannang curry with shrimp and scallops. The dish only had "3" shrimp and 4 "tiny" bay scallops. I called the restaurant and complained. The noodles were mushy and extremely oily. This was the most horrible food ever!!! I give them less than a one star rating. So very disappointing, $60.00 dollars and 90% of the food went in the garbage!!!

It's easily one of the best, if not the best, Thai restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. I’ve had fancier Thai restaurants, and I’ve eaten Thai food throughout Asia, but whoever is doing the cooking in the back is spot on. Food is exceptionally authentic and beyond delicious. Everything I had was either as good as I’ve ever had in the world or the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place.

NOT DEAF FRIENDLY Attempted to order verbally twice and the server repeatedly ignored me. Every time I finished speaking, she turned her head to my husband. I pointed it out my husband. "Did you get her order?" he asked. No. 'Do you want to get her order?" I had her attention on me to repeat my order. Again, she turned her head to him, which was met with, "why are you looking at me, she's ordering." The verbal ordering obviously wasn't working so I pulled out my phone to type out my order, which she read with 100% attentiveness - not one glance over to him. My husband asked for more time to order more food, which was met with attitude and eye roll. We immediately walked out.

Sorry to leave negative feedback, but the quality of food is very poor. Absolutely testless! Water not broth was use for extremely sour Tom Yum soup, frozen broccoli was used for Basil Wok with absolutely tasteless and unsalted squid. Papaya salad dressing needs to have improvement. Thai tea was OK.

Visited during the weekend, had soup with pad Thai with chicken, fried rice and spring rolls. Loved the quantity although the food had too much oil in it it was full of flavour. The desert options are limited. Had the frozen litchi which surprisingly tasted well for just litchi on ice. An OK option for Asian cuisine. Loved their red chili oil.

First of all I went out because it’s 100° outside and I didn’t want to cook I get there and their air conditioner is broken. Then I order one of my favorite dishes in the world and that is pad Thai. Big mistake it was disgusting I would strongly advise you to never step foot in this place

Customer service was not good. It was just us and one other patron in the restaurant. And a table that was not cleared. We left before ordering food after it took almost 10 mins to bring our drinks so I can't rate the food.

Tom Kha and Singha noodles were very delicious. Best part, they were able to make it vegan for us. Only reason for 4 star is because the Drunken Noodles were very oily. I would definitely recommend this place. It’s like eating at high end restaurant without breaking your budget. I liked it a lot.

Cute place, love the relaxing wall waterfall sounds while eating & talking. You can choose a heat (spice) level from 0-10. 1-2 level is pretty good for flavor. A 0 level leaves your meal a bit bland tasting. You can ask them a day ahead to make your favorite ice cream flavor, if available. (Their home made Lavender ice cream is great!

I’ve tried every Thai place in the Greenville area, and this is absolutely my favorite. Fresh veggies and peppers, amazing Tom kah gai, and house made ice cream. Get the Thai tea!

This is mine and my husband’s second time coming here hoping to get a quick bite before work, but the fact that it takes over 40 minutes to serve two people is ridiculous. Literally the only people in the restaurant and we got Thai Fried Rice, Fried Tilapia, and a Papaya Salad. We paid for the salad and walked out.

My friend and I tried this place for lunch. We had the amazing it was amazing and the side of won ton soup was incredible. Can't wait to go back and try something new.

I got the Red Curry, Drunken Noodles and the Thai Rice and they were absolutely flavorless. I actually thought it was me, but after having others taste test it, it was confirmed. The blandest thai food I have ever had. So disappointing.

Not a place I would go back to, but they did have some delicious buttered broccoli noodles. I wasn't a fan of the steamed vegetables, and all of them swimming in a plate of sauce that I didn't even know tasted like.

What an amazing meal! Everything was just so yummy! We had the salad rolls, miso soup, chicken satay, yellow and red curry and pad Thai! Best Thai food we have ever had! And very sweet and helpful servers.

First time here. Ordered take-out. Staff was very patient, polite and helpful. (Didn't mean to show up 20 minutes before closing, so thank you very much for taking a hungry guys order 🙂). I ordered the vegetable stir-fry and added chicken. It was awesome! The rice was perfectly cooked also. Just the right of added spice (at request; ordered a 6 out of a spice range from 1-10) Recommended if you like stir-fry, I will be back next week to try another plate!

Second time here it wasn’t like the first time I order to go and it wasn’t nothing special, I didn’t receive my soup or salad I pay $16.95 for just a cup of white rice and some mixed vegetables with chicken and 3 pieces of shrimp also looks like a soup to much water I understand the situation about food high prices but this place it’s overpriced for what you get

Loved this little restaurant! I got the red curry with chicken/shrimp served with rice & the fried spring rolls. The food was great & prepared/served so quick! The waitress was very sweet. Their table presentation & the restaurant in general was nice & very clean! The music was very nice too. Would def recommend, will visit again soon.

Their food is light and delicious yet very fulfilling. I highly recommend especially if you want to dine where the food has natural flavoring instead of the usual greasy spoon at most other places. Go, try them out...I guarantee your taste buds and your waist line will both love you.

Small intimate dining with great food. I enjoyed the Yum Basa, with the coconut soup and some sake. Food was hot, service was great and the ambience was classy. I will return.

We visit this restaurant at least twice a month. They have the best Thai food in town and are one of the few that still customizes spice levels. Excellent dumplings. Excellent curry dishes. Excellent noodle dishes. We are making our way through tasting the menu and so far love the flavors.

This food was better than any Japanese steak house that I've ever been to. And the Thai tea was awesome. If I wasn't going back to va Friday I would eat here again. Ms chef is awesome 👌

The food was alright but the service was horrible. Part of the order never came and no one came to try and fix it till 45 minutes after our food came. At that point we had been there for nearly an hour and a half.

I do not recommend.. 1 waiter.. he didn't know anything nor did he care. Half the order didn't come and no drinks was brought out nor water till half way through eating. Food was horrible.

I had a recent similar experience. The food use to be awesome but I would stay away from this place now. Here is a recent picture of one of my items chicken with shrimp red curry. As you can see no sauce and no shrimp. I would stay away from this place. I had Bitsquad deliver this item and neither would help me with the issue :(

My family and I moved to Greenville from FL and tried different Thai food in the area. Bangkok Tokyo is by far the best in town!

LOOOVVVEEE this restaurant. It’s beautiful and the food is so good! The owner is always around and super friendly. I always feel comfortable having my kids in here, and service is always phenomenal. They have a good beer and wine selection. Not great for large groups although you can call ahead and reserve tables should you need to. Relaxed and quiet atmosphere. Love love love this restaurant. P.s. spice means spice here, they definitely don’t water it down so be cautious lol

Gave it 5 stars not for the food but the customer service. Food was pretty good but not the best I've had. I got my food to go because of covid. I ordered my food and it was ready in like 13 minutes. It was still hot when I got back to the hotel and it was about a 10 minute drive. The pad thai was good but a little Watery and they did not give me a lemon. You can't tell from the picture but there is 10 shrimps in the pad Thai And they are pretty good size to. I also got the Bangkok stuffed chicken wings and they were pretty good. They are pretty much a chicken wing stuffed with eggroll stuffing. The chicken wing is also dipped in a beer batter and then deep fried

Loved the food here! We eat as close to vegan as possible and we just found out about this place. I ordered "Cashew" under the "Stir Fry from the Wok" , and my wife ordered "Massaman" under the "Curry" section of the menu. Both dishes were great and we will definitely return. Best Asian Cuisine in the Upstate. A little higher on the price side but I've been coming here for years and would pay even more for it. It's absolutely exquisite.

We celebrated my birthday tonight at this amazing restaurant. The atmosphere is beautiful and peaceful, the owners and staff are so nice and attentive, the food is authentic and was so delicious. And you have to try their home made ice cream and fried bananas you will be in love. We can't wait to go back.

A place with cozy atmosphere and friendly staffs. I got the drunken noodles with chicken. The meat is tender. The noodle and seasoning are perfect. They offer different spiciness level from 0-10 for most of their dishes on the menu. If you haven't try any thai restaurant, come give this one a try!
