We always make it a point to come here at least once when I town. I’ve had the bulgogi banh mi, roast pork banh mi, and the korean fried chicken banh mi. The roast pork is much favorite by far.

So I thought I wanted a PoBoy… this is my second time in New Orleans and felt obligated to get the local sandwich staple. However this little HOLE IN THE WALL spot came highly recommended. When I walked in I was overwhelmed and the cashier helped me pick the perfect order. I decided to pivot and do a Banh Mi, and I got the Bugolgi Banh mi and it was incredible! Let’s face it a banh mi and a PoBoy are essentially the same thing. Let’s start with the spring rolls, paired with a nice peanut sauce. The sandwich itself was so flavorful and just the right amount of food. It’s pretty much outside seating only if you want to eat there so just know that going in.

Absolutely, the best shrimp poboy in the city! They take poboys to a whole different level. I've never had a bad meal here, in fact every visit was more than expected!

As I sit here eating yesterday's leftover Spicy Asian Brisket sandwich, I feel the need to let everyone know that this is the MOST DELICIOUS BAHN MI ON THE EAST BANK! The service has been impeccable for years! The iced coffee is always superb and the K Town fries are divine! And oh the bread pudding!

Having no indoor seating area (other than a small bar) is a big issue. There are some fans above the outdoor tables but it was too hot and humid the day we went to even try. I ended up leaving not buying anything but my wife got a bahn mi to go and she liked it.

Local hidden gem if you enjoy a great Banh Mi. I go out of my way to stop by and enjoy a menu item when I’m in town. It’s all good just go for whatever you most feel in the mood for.

The food was incredible!! I would definitely recommend. I had the Bang Bang shrimp sandwich and it was incredible. plan on eating there again soon.

I had the bang bang, shrimp sandwich and the strawberry dragon fruit drink absolutely delicious. The best sandwich I’ve ever had and I’ve had plenty service was excellent. The atmosphere love it. I will be back with my family.

I got the lemon grass pork banh mi and fries. The pork in the banh mi was soooo flavorful and moist. And the fries were delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try more things.

No one does chicken and vermicelli as well as Banh Mi Boys. I love their fries, too.

1st time trying this place and it was AMAZING! The staff was so friendly. The food was made quickly and fresh. Reasonable pricing. Will definitely be back again to try some more items!

I got the Chicken Katsu Banh Mi. I asked for the hoisin sauce to go along, but after taking the first bite without sauce, I saw that it didn't need the sauce at all. It was great without it. This sandwich is topped with Tokatsu sauce, Japanese kewpie mayo, and Furikake seasoning. These are Japanese ingredients, so this is a Vietnamese sandwich version of a Japanese dish. A Japanese Banhi MI in a way. And it was really good. The fried chicken on this sandwich is just as any Japanese fried chicken I've had before. I really recommend this sandwich and I very much look forward to taking another visit to Banh Mi Boys, because if this sandwich was that tasty, then I am sure the others have a lot to offer as well. Please enjoy! I have gone to this location of Banh Mi Boys many times over the past year. I have gotten great food every time, and I mean every single time I go. It's always delicious. The banh mi, the salads, the wings, everything, everytime. Please please please enjoy!

We went for lunch, so there was a small wait but it was worth it! The oyster fries were amazing and the banh mi was to die for. If you have time stop by this spot!

This place is really good! I ordered the grilled chicken with rice and it was delicious! Also the Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) is a must. The dragon fruit lemonade and the white chocolate bread pudding was soooo yum! Y’all need to try this place if ever in the area and in the mood for some Vietnamese food.

So freaking good, tried it during Covid just because and now had it for dinner at work and it just made my soul soo happy. Didn’t disappoint. Thanks

The K-Town fries are my favorite. You won't be disappointed, you can order without the egg.

Service EXCELLENT! Food tasted great I got a shrimp po-boy, hamburger po-boy and a quesadilla but I got food poisoned.

Food made me sick don't recommend felt like I was poisoned.

I get the braised pork belly, the bang bang shrimp, the roast beef debris fries, the regular fries, and all of the noodles bowls. It is all fantastic. The taste is right there. Perfect.

Stopped here for a quick dinner sandwich on our annual camping trip through the South. I highly recommend the Honey Sriracha Shrimp banh mi. Wow! Very glad we tried this restaurant during a recent trip to Metairie. Spectacular food and service. Ample seating outside under warm space heaters. Food was hot and fresh. Many menu items in addition to both Vietnamese and traditional New Orleans style Po-Boys. Me, my wife, and very picky 9 year old absolutely loved the food. Extremely kind and caring employees. We will definitely be back.

Just moved here from the Bay and was looking for some good food. I got the Steak & Egg over rice as well as two Banh Mí the Chicken Katsu & Grilled Pork. The grilled pork meat reminded me of Cambodian grilled meat, simply wonderful and I added chopped peanuts and ex jalapeño🤤. The chicken katsu was amazingly juicy and flavorful. Everyone was lovely and helpful. I most definitely will be returning.

Second time around and the food was great! I got a chicken katsu Banh Mi, crab Rangoon, and my son got the hamburger fries and it was all really good and filling! The hamburger fries was my fave. We also got the mango smoothies (PHENOMENAL) and the Taro smoothie, taro tasted like a nutty vanilla flavor

I am a new huge fan. Great portions at even better prices. Authentic. With some new modern twists. Outdoor seating is fun but right but the parking lot and gas station. Most people take it to go.

Excellent braised pork belly bahn mi! Super unctuous and umami! The pork & shrimp spring rolls were fresh, tasty and crunchy. And the white chocolate and almond bread pudding was a perfect end to the meal.

Food is always great. Super fresh ingredients. Tried the shrimp po boy for the first time, and the shrimp were huge and fried to perfection. Honestly would love to know where they get their shrimp from

Bahn Mi and more at this little spot in Metairie. Most of the seating is outside, so plan accordingly based on the weather. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Really. Pick a protein you like & jump in for bold flavors and creative combinations. The bread is crisp, and the toppings are paired with proteins. Good value for the price. On a nice day, it's worth the drive.

Tried 3 sandwiches so far, all different, all delicious!

We drove an hour out of our way to come here after seeing it on a documentary. Authentic, fresh, delicious. Spouse says he would have driven two hours and recommends the cold cut banh mi (spoiler: you have to like head cheese to enjoy this). The K-pop fries were amazing as was the special Ube coconut bread pudding. But the star of the show is the Pho chicken wings. Fried so crispy but not wet, and they don’t need any kind of dipping sauce. They stand out to me as a favorite.

Don’t let the location fool you. This place might be gas station adjacent, but after eating here you will forget where you are and appreciate how delicious the food is. The service is also great. If you ever thought of trying Bahn Mi Boys, just go ahead and schedule it as your next meal and thank me later. They give you bang for your buck and then some. They are know for their exceptional bahn mi, but boy are their other items also very good.

Oh this is my guilty pleasure place and I will get Bahn mi all the time if I could. I'll drive at least 45 minutes out of my way just for an excuse to eat here ❤️

Amazingly delicious and one of my favorite meals while I was in New Orleans. I got the Lemongrass Chicken Bahn MI and Wow! It was so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The fresh vegetables on top of the sandwich were a fantastic touch. Would definitely be back.

Got the Bang Bang Shrimp Bahn Mi, K-Town Fries, and Ube Bread Pudding. It was all great. Very fair pricing for the size also.

The banh mi is the best in the city!! Service is great. The majority of seating is outdoors which could be problematic in the summer.

Bahn Mi Boys is a gem. I've never had anything less than totally delicious though some offerings challenge my spice tolerance. Truly one of the best sandwiches out there.

Don't let the fact that they are next to a gas station fool you! We've been here twice in the past month because their food is so good! Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi is wonderful, with plenty of cilantro, and pickled carrot and radish, and the Korean BBQ wings were saucy and delicious! The inside is clean, and they keep the outdoor tables clean, as well! I'm giving the atmosphere a rating of 4 stars because the seating, while covered, is outside and it's been scalding (Hot and Humid) all summer. I really look forward to eating here when the weather improves!

I stopped in with nit much time and they made a miracle happen so I could try the bang bang shrimp Bahn mi. It was incredible!!! I could have eaten another one it was so good. The staff is friendly and super helpful. Ibeill definitely be a repeat customer to try everything they offer. Che k these guys out!!!!!

The bahn mi is indeed very good. BRING CASH. If you pay via card it's an extra 4% and the lowest tip amount on the card display is thingy 18%. After 9.2 percent in tax that means your take out just cost you an extra 31.2%!! A drink sandwich and fries was $34 after taxes and fees!

The food was excellent, however, the service was poor. I came in for the first time excited because of the good reviews. When I entered, I saw the woman at the register scrolling on her phone and asked her for recommendations on what to order since it was my first time. She pointed to the menu and said the specialties are the best. I was expecting a little bit more effort to be put forth - mainly, wanting to know her personal favorites some the menu is large and she works there. Additionally, as soon as I looked at the menu she went back to scrolling on her phone. I don't like to leave poor reviews especially when the food is good but I do believe the owner(s) of this business need to be aware of the customer's experience when interacting with their staff.

Easily one of the best sandwiches ever. I got the Korean Fried Chicken - everything about it showed care and precision. Chicken was fried perfectly and tossed in a sweet spicy sauce - the meat was tender and juicy. Pate made a delicious flavor accent. The daikon carrot slaw had just enough vinegar. All wrapped in a perfect French roll. I can't say enough good things about this sandwich!

We always go back to the bang bang shrimp banh Mi because it’s so good, but I love all their fries too. My dog liked sneaking pieces of fries :)

Life changing K-Town fries! So thankful we stumbled on this gem! Huge “thank you” to the friendly woman in line who suggested the fries! The Banh Mi sandwiches were very good, but the K-Town fries were excellent!

I really love the food there. It's a fusion sandwiches, so you can taste some mixed Asian Cajun flavors, and they are so delicious!
