First experience was fantastic. Shawarma was delicious, carry out service was great. Will go again.

I’ve never had Yemeni food before so i asked for recommendations. The waiter recommended chicken fahsah, which came with tandoori bread. The check stew was not very flavorful, a bit bland. The salsa was the same way. The bread was fresh. The dish was plenty for two people to share. I wanted to try a rice dish but they were all too much for one person. The waiter was friendly. Maybe I’ll give other dishes a try when I’m in the area again.

The restaurant is VERY clean and pleasantly decorated! Our waiter, Salim was very happy to help us! He made us feel very welcomed! His recommendations of food proved to be completely accurate! The food was VERY GOOD!! We are from Munster IN but I can say THIS IS THE BEST MEDITERRANEAN FOOD WE HAVE EVER TASTED! This is officially our favorite place now!

No matter how much $ you pour into redecorating, if the food is bland and ludicrously over-priced, you substitute half of it with battered French fries nobody asked for or wants, and the service is slow, not going to work. I called to complain about being served literally half (clearly cut with a knife) of the skinniest excuse for a Schwarma sandwich I've ever seen, was debated by 2 different people over what constitutes a whole $9 sandwich. Not worth the aggrevation when there are many excellent middle eastern restaurants around here. This location has been home to at least 3x different similar restaurants over the past 10 years. It has not been worth a visit for a *long* time, and this latest iteration is trying *hard* to be the worst of the lot. I won't be back. Side notes: Huge chunks of onion and zero bulgar in the tabooleh. Pretty much nothing but chicken + sauce in the half Shwarma sandwich. The only ray of sunshine in this, my 2nd visit, was the sweetened hot tea. I got a call back from the manager 5min after the first clueless people, but would rather not waste the return trip, nor risk eating a conflict sandwich. You blew the first 2x visits + the call-back... too late to fix now. Update: And now I'm being hounded by calls from the owner, 2x in succession. He apologized for the sub-par experience. So, if you'd like to roll the dice, perhaps enjoy a great meal, or perhaps have the worst lunch and aftermath in recent memory? Who knows?

I was there last night, it’s very clean, Food was really good and our server was great. I have been to their other locations but honestly this one is the cleanest!

Well I used to Love I mean Love Sheeba but after this visit at this location I severely let down and embarrassed. Well long story short I got sick from the chicken fattoush the greens were definitely not fresh especially the cucumbers . This my first bad experience yet worst so far as well, then look at the hummus no red pepper or parsley or any kind of garnishments to make it look appetizing it was so sad n plain ppl eat with there eyes and stomach and seeing that it was nothing special at all wallah sad. I asked for lemon never received any not got any with my lamb soup either but Anyways judge for yourself!

Horrible service, first time expanse replacement order half hour later it was not ready. I had to wait 20 more minutes when I got there .second time came in for dining stood there for 5 minutes after that they came and got on the phone with not even acknowledge me never again.

Item ordered: whole haneeth chicken Chicken tasted bad and like it’s been sitting in a fridge for a while. The skin was burnt literally black and rubbery. There was absolutely no seasoning on the chicken. It doesn’t seem like they marinate the ckn either. Wouldn’t recommend, first time trying this place and it will be my last.

I came in and was greeted by ziyad very welcoming and told us he’s gonna give us a vip table and made us alr have a great start with the day we ordered tray for 2 with Sheeba for 4 and everything was made fresh and tasted amazing I’d recommend the fasah and the lamb hanneth one of the best things in Sheeba come and try this place out it’s amazing but I appreciate ziyad for making me and my family laugh and have a great time and for dessert their slice of biscoff and Oreo cake are great to try :)

It’s been a while. I did not eat clean good food and nutritious in a restaurant. I eat homemade food. It’s not like other restaurant. I really love it my daughter like it and my husband very picky and he don’t like to eat in any restaurants unless it’s very good and he said it is good it’s homemade food food that’s why I like it and the tea was phenomenal.. I am planning to come back again and recommended for my friend and family.

DO NOT GO THERE, I wish i can give zero star the place is ruined, super dirty, 2 hours 30 minutes wait to get your food, their customer service is the worst, they don’t care about their customers, spend $330 for 1 sheeba for 8 and extra meal. The manager said we can’t give you bread we had to pay for bread after you pay $330 ??!!!! Scammers

My daughter dragged me into this restaurant, and I'm glad she did. The food was awesome. The waiter was friendly and helpful he brought us out a free ice tea to try, and it was really delicious 😋 it was very different than the tea I grew up on. Nice decor and very clean inside. Will go back!

This place tried to steal my friend sunglasses they are true thieves they have no fear. They have no belief in God. Please don’t eat here

I have never written any review for any restaurant, good or bad. However, I dined in yesterday, and walked out without my sunglasses. I called them and let them know that I had left my sunglasses at the table, and they insisted I never even wore sunglasses inside the restaurant. After getting the police involved, it was revealed to me that they had stolen my sunglasses. If you eat here, keep your belongings in your pocket or in your car! This is so disappointing to me, as I was a loyal costumer and enjoyed their food. I will not be returning.Being a businesses owner myself in the restaurant industry, if I had caught any of my employees stealing they would be fired that day.

Their shak shooka is just an omelet.. I did not expect that. Stick to fahsa, haneeth etc

I came here 6/23/2024 and i always come to sheeba because the food is amazing and always fresh and if i remember my waitress ziyad had one of the most amazing service and was very kind and always made sure we are having a great time and made us feel welcomed and happy to always come back and choose sheeba to eat i really loved ziyad and if you guys go to sheeba and have ziyad as your watress you are a kucky customer , sheeba trained their workers very good

Insanely delicious food. The fahsa is the way to go there. The service is amazing, truly the best representation of the Yemeni community.

It was my first taste of Yemeni food and I am already planning my next visit. Can’t really say about the authenticity of taste because I’ve never tasted Yemeni food before but whatever was on my plate was delicious and fresh.

Came here for dinner, because it has good reviews, and we aren’t from the area. We left really confused, because service was horrible, and the food wasn’t great. Staff would just sit behind the counter talking. Tables around us were having to get up & go get them every time they needed something, and very quickly we figured out why. My husbands meal came out pretty quickly, but mine & my children’s meals all took forever. When the food did finally come, it wasn’t good. Definitely disappointed in our meal here tonight.

Very upsetting dinner at Sheeba restaurant. I have been coming here with my family for many years, but tonight was a big disappointment. The service was bad, and the food came out one by one, getting cold by the time we received everything. This is not the level of quality we have come to expect from Sheeba. I hope they can address these issues and return to their usual high standards.

The food is fresh and has amazing flavor and portions are worth every penny. Mariah was our server and she was so kind and super friendly.

The place is nice, more open and comfy than most other locations - newer too Easy parking Got the lamb haneeth, felt it ranked a little lower in taste than other locations lamb soup, liver were good Saves the drive to Dearborn, please open up in novi soon !

Carry out order was over priced, small portion servings and there was hair found in our food.

Dinner portion is smaller than the lunch portion we used to get at their older restaurant 2 years ago. Prices are much higher while portion is down!! It will be better to increase prices and keep dinner portion appropriate than serving such a ridiculous portion for dinner. I liked their food for many years but now their service is not as good as it used to be.

Ordered from door dash. Fries were raw and soggy. Salad wasn’t sealed in the bag and leaked/dripped on my floor from the bag. The leaking salad had happened multiple times from this restaurant.

This is one of my favorite local eateries.

At first glance, I suspected it was a fake. After eating it, I realized that it deserves a higher rating. Those who don't like mutton are tamed by this mutton. It's delicious, very delicious. It comes with spicy green chili sauce. Served with crispy pancakes and stewed mutton in tomato sauce, it was amazing, really delicious, and the mutton pilaf was also delicious (the real name is not this), somewhat similar to Xinjiang flavor, delicious! The photo was taken after we started eating, so it’s not that pretty, but it’s a recommendation after being amazed by the taste! A restaurant that I will often visit

We have been coming to Sheeba since it opened, and have enjoyed every experience. We’ve never had a bad meal here, the service is unparalleled, and the atmosphere is cozy and always clean. Some favorites are the seltah, chicken haneeth, hummus, fattoush salad and the after dinner tea (it’s like a hug in a mug!).

My sister and I work real close to this resturant and we've always wanted to try it because it smells so good outside. We finally decided to try it and I can tell you that this will be a new go to place for us. Literally you're paying the same price as a fast food chain with how prices are now but getting a better quality meal. We ordered a chicken shawarma sandwhich and a falafel sandwhich. Both came with a nice portion of fries. We also got a side of mandi rice and garlic. They even thought to include silverware and ketchup for us, which was a nice touch because not everywhere you go does that. When my sister went to pick up the food, they even gave us free tea to try for being first time customers. :) Will definitely be back. Great food, great service.

Today I had the pleasure of trying this place on my lunch and BOY they did not disappoint! I got so much food for the price and the food tasted absolutely amazing!! The order was correct and they even added ketchup which is very thoughtful!!! I will definitely make this one of my new lunch spot… it is very clean and the staff is so sweet!! I had a younger man on the register and he was such a pleasure to deal with. You guys are doing great, keep it up and I will be back very soon! Their tea is even amazing and I wouldn’t normally think to get it, 10/10!!!!

I recommend Haneeth (tender lamb meet) over rice and Fahsa (tasty and tender meat?. Lentil soup and salad are great. Hummus and Baba ghanouj are a must-have. Their tea is very good .

I ordered some hummus with lamb, taboulli and an extra bread. My food was ready on time and I was treated well. Once I paid for my food, I left and then got a call that I left my card. Turned around and as I wall in to pick up my card, I was greeted with a smile from the host and was handed my card followed by a complimentary tea which I later found out was called Yemen Red Tea (it is now a top 5 fav for me! Truly amazing). They apologized for my own mistake of forgetting my card and treated me to a new found fav! Thank you all so much! Oh. And when I got home to eat, I realized I did indeed only need 1 bread for myself because it is the size of a personal pizza! Yum yum yum!

Everything was DELICIOUS. Has some of the best garlic sauce I’ve had hands down, and the lamb fattah was so flavorful and aromatic. On top of that the staff was very lovely. The space is beautiful and open, and very clean. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!

Went and did a carry-out order yesterday for my mother and myself. It was our first time eating from here. We both got the Chicken Zorbain. Not only was the food very delicious and cooked to perfection, but the service was absolutely amazing. The manager and all those that work there were so, so kind. We didn't even eat there physically, and the environment was still so welcoming. Definitely coming back.

This was a great find! The food was very authentic. Service was quick and our waitress was very polite. She made us delicious fresh Yemani Tea which was both delicious and complimentary.

Very poor customer service. We waited 30 minutes after eating to get carry out box for our left overs. Pathetic. Total waste of your time.

The store is spacious, bright and comfortable. One person ordered Entree Lamb Rice with a choice of soup or salad. The mutton is relatively lean and still very fragrant but suitable for people who don’t want to eat fatty mutton. The spice rice is very rich in flavor. According to the store clerk, there are forty kinds of spices in total.

Been going to Sheeba regularly and have really enjoyed almost everything. Mandi rice is flavorful; chicken Aghba and meat skewers are tender and flavorful, portions are large. Dining room is open and bright, and cheerful but quiet enough to hear conversation.

My experience tonight at Sheeba, made me feel so grateful to live in a town with so many rich cultures to share and experience, Living and working with friends who were fasting and praying through Ramadan and celebrating Eid with family… opened my eyes in many ways. I don’t eat out much but a friend asked to me to share some Hummus and bread and maybe a salad. The decor is so lovely and attention was paid to every detail. As I entered I could smell what I thought was Oud…I recently took a trip to Lamas Perfume which is from Turkey and recognized these scents. The owner came to check in with us. He was kind and caring. I asked him what the scent was and he simple brought me some. It was his last box of Bakhoor (it was Amber my favorite.) He GAVE ME HIS LAST BOX. And then he asked me what I like to eat and when I replied “lamb”, he brought us a gorgeous and plentiful plate of Lamb, rice and roasted potatoes. Ok, I have been to Greece 6 times, I’ve dated a sailor, I danced on the bar….. This lamb was lovely …. It was a bit more delicate… a tiny bit of fat and tender …I ate it with my fingers …. Cause I was “feeling Yemeni” The whole evening was just a lovely surprise and a test to what can happen if we open our minds with curiosity and respect to other cultures…… magic happens. Even in little old Canon. One last thing, this Hummous (is that the real way to spell it?)…. It’s like silk! It’s not grainy .. there’s the perfect amount of oil .. and lemon.. BRING YOUR TUPPERWARE because you will want to take each drop home with you…. Thank You Sheeba for your warmth, generosity and kindness.

Bread was raw I had to call the manager and let him know .Rice were cold not warm .No salt in soup taste less .over all service was very bad .To be honest I did not wanted to pay for the food such a disappointment

Im literally writing the review while Im here. We came with my family on Eid. Wow just Wow!!! Canton location was 10/10. Food service everything!!! Super Clean. Sambusa was so hott not oily just perfect. The best sambusa I Have ever tried. Haneeth so delicious….Mariah was taking care of us. Such a kind and sweet lady. Food came out on time. Even when she would put a plate on table she would say “pardon my reach”….Also gave us prayer rug to pray next door. How amazing is that??!!! It was such an amazing experience at Sheeba. Happy Eid.

Delicious food. Specially the lamb Haneeth is the best in all Yemeni restaurants in the greater Detroit area. I have been to all Sheeba restaurants, west Dearborn and east Dearborn and this one is the best of all three. Owner is a great guy. He offered me a tres leche cake, which was delicious. I ordered following items 1. Lamb soup (complimentary) 4/5 2. Fahsa lamb 4/5 3. Lamb Haneeth 5/5 4. Tanoor bread 5/5 5. Yemeni tea 5/5 (complimentary) 6. Tres Leche , milk cake 5/5 Already visited twice in a span of 1 week. Will keep visiting this place. Also an advice for the people when you go to a Yemeni restaurant, you should order the Yemeni food, not the same old Lebanese kebabs, lentil soup etc. Get the Yemeni and it will be your favorite.

First time having Yemini food.. our waitress was extremely helpful explaining the dishes. The tea was phenomenal as was the roasted lamb and rice. I would highly recommend if you’re into trying something different. The spices were flavorful but not spicy.

The food taste very good but i purchased a tray for 4 people and the amount of meat was sooo little and skimpy it was only able to feed 2 people i had 2 guests and it was very uncomfortable situation because we order for iftar for breaking our fast in Ramadan and we ate only rice i ask on the phone when i made my order to make sure it will be enough for 4 adults and they assured me that it was enough meat i was so disappointed when i arrived home and open the tray it literally had half or a very small chicken and 2 very small pieces of meat and like 3 pieces of potatos it was ridiculous i am very disappointed on sheeba because they have very good quality food but the portions are so disappointing

Sheeba is the ultimate Yemeni food experience. The food is absolutely delicious! The servers treat you with the utmost respect. The decor is beautiful and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.

The food was good, and my entree had flavors that felt distinct from other Mediterranean spots I’ve been to. The server knew a ton about the menu and they even had hot napkins :). I’ve had less thorough service from fine dining places 3x the price. I’ll be back next time I’m in the area!

Fantastic food, with great recommendations from our server Mariah since this was our first time trying Yemeni dishes. Clay oven bread with hummus is the best ever! Lamb fahsah was so delicious - will definitely return to try more traditional Yemeni items from the extensive menu. Ali the manager was very attentive as well. Highly impressed!

The reataraunt interior is great and so is the food. The place serves Yemeni food and it’s some of the best in canton and Ann Arbor area. I would recommend the Lamb Fahsah and Lamb haneedh. Awesome restaraunt. Staff confirmed it’s 100% halal.
