Best shaved ice of my life!!! I tried other places next to the resort, and none came close to the one I enjoyed here! Big portion, soft and flaky with no solid chunks, and I would gladly wait for perfection when you make it this heavenly. I wish I had taken a picture, that first bite, hydrated my insides, and brought instant joy.

It's a really nice roadside eatery featuring some fantastic snacks and treats. The iced coffee was pitch perfect, and the kids loved the shave ice. Service can be a little slow since there is literally one person doing all behind the counter but it's worth the wait - not like some of the shrimp trucks in the area, which involve 2 hour wait times.

Visiting from Pennsylvania... Rainbow House has the best shaved ice I think I have ever had, the Aloha smoothie was to die for as well!

One of the best shave ice I've had in a long time. #24 Rootbeer and vanilla. Tyler waited on us and he was really nice and helped us pick the best flavors.

The said it was made with fresh fruit. I ordered the mango papaya smoothie.

The ice isn't as fine and fluffy as Island Vintage or Lahaina, but if you are in the mood and in the North Shore this is pretty good! The flavors are a little artificial tasting, so maybe stay away from the Lime and Cherry. Definitely get Snow Cap (condensed milk) and the little mochi are better than the big mochi from Island Vintage.

My wife and I stopped by rainbow house recommended by one of the locals and boy what a refreshing, sweet, delicious treat! Keeps you cool and fills in the sweet tooth with lots of flavors to choose from. Check it out Brothas.

This establishment is upfront about their pace and even has a sign posted at the register cautioning those who are in a rush to reconsider ordering from them, as they take their time with their orders and are in no hurry. While this is evident, the quality they deliver is excellent. Would return again.

Quick stop for some shaved ice and açaí right off the highway. The açaí smoothie was refreshing.

Here you meet the most lovely people in Oahu. The servers are sweet and kind. We are sipping shaved ice mano passion fruit and drinking coconut milk from the coconut, and listening to music and Israel's version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow, and a Wonderful World. I became immediately sentimental with this beautiful rendition of such a lovely song, bringing a gentle tear to my eye, as I remember thankfully, the beautiful moments, bountiful and joyful days of my life. The food truck, up the street from the hotel a few miles, Da Bald Guy had fabulous thick and spicy, super tasty salmon.We loved our food truck experience! Thank you

The chicken was Uber dry, don’t recommend.

The flavors are so much better than some shaved ice we had. The only negative thing I have to say is, they close whenever they want. We went there one day (supposed to close at 5 according to sign) around 4 and it was closed and the sign was then changed to 4. Just a little frustrating that it says one thing and can change whenever. Otherwise, people are nice and all is yummy.

Friendly people, delicious ice, covered seating! Everything needed for a great shaved ice spot. We were unfortunately in a rush (tour) and couldn't chill there, but we would've if we could.

The best fruit smoothies in a fruit on the whole island. When you visit, make sure to stop by. I always get the pineapple mix in a pineapple for $10. Always 🔥. You won't regret it! 😁

We stopped here for shrimp after seeing our usual stop for Fumi's was closed. My son got the garlic shrimp. I got the acai bowl. Omg it was the best acai bowl I've ever had. The price was great and it was big. I ended making another trip up there for another acai bowl before I left Oahu. The garlic shrimp was delicious and full of garlic too.

Capturing the island spirit and accommodating customers. They don't have any sugar free flavoring but the lady working came up with the idea to pour pineapple juice on mine. Which is great, at least it's a natural sugar so worked for a diabetic to still have a treat. She went out of her way to find a solution and was so pleasant! Thank you!!

Not to be an elitist snob, but I've always considered the best shave ice to be at Matsomotos further north. HOWEVER, after trying this place, I'm willing to reconsider. This place has tons of great options and add-ons that really separate it from other shops. The biggest thing that I liked was the option of putting fruit chunks on top. Huge game changer right there. Lots of seating (outdoors only) and the parking is easy. Give this place a try, especially if you don't feel like driving all the way around the north shore!

Shrimp place not ice. Spicy is just fine.

They sell out quickly, so don't think you will pick up something when coming back from Northshore. They didn't have any coconuts when we arrived, but they had large helpings of shaved ice, which was tastie. Also, had some local cats just chilling and watching the tourists.

Rainbow House Shave Ice is more than a roadside shave ice stand. They also have coffee, smoothies, milkshakes, and soon will also have boba. Based on strong recommendations, we made this the final shave ice spot on our trip. I tried the banana and ordered it with preserved (evidently, canned) peaches and mango. I was only given the canned peaches as a topping with no mango. Preparing the items took slightly longer than at other shave ice stands, though in the early evening we were the only customers. Not that it was a long wait! Just somewhat more than other places. My partner loved the banana milkshake he got, and I enjoyed the shaved ice (which seemed bottomless) though maybe it wasn't my favorite of the trip. The fresh fruit and variety makes it hard to go wrong though, if you have a group and don't all want the same thing for dessert or to cool down on a hot day.

Quick service. Accept major credit cards. One is enough for 2 people. Ice cream at the bottom was a fun surprise ☺️. Plenty of pineapple chunks and good amount of sweetness on the shaved ice. Right next to a bus stop. Gravel parking lot.

If you want to feel like a kid or shut your kids up! Not far from the crowded beach. Also was not crowded at all! Stop by this gravel parking lot with character and meet good folks with the best shaved ice combo my mouth has had the pleasure of knowing. It twas lip smacking good and recommend a young coconut to wash it down!!!!!!
