Best Food Ever! Atmosphere can be a little loud and they are adults...I wanted to say please use inside voices. The food made up for it.. scallops were Perfect with their spicy mango sauce.. crab Mac n cheese creamy... Shanghai Prawns in noodles with a nice spicy sauce. Nice wine list..Malbec was delicious 😋 Highly recommend I liked sharing the small plate versions to get a variety.

09/01/24: Two of us popped in for dinner and were seated at the bar right away. No wait. Staff was friendly. We ordered the clam chowder, King Salmon, and Clam bucatini. Overall the meal was good. Salmon was a bit undercooked still edible though and the dish overall was delicious. The bucatini was really good, a little bit of a kick but still very yummy.

Last night on our vacation on Long Beach, we decided to try this place for the first time. I'm super glad we did. The food here was AMAZING! We were quickly seated, and we were served right away! We ordered a small plate of the Dungeness crab mac n cheese. My wife ordered the Rack of Oregon lamb featuring chimichuru and saffron jasmine rice! I got the Southern Comfort Pork with yam mash and creamed corn! Both dishes were OUTSTANDING... the best lamb my wife has ever tasted, and my pork shoulder was super tender and very favorable! The Dungeness crab man n cheese was super creamy and had plenty of crab in it. We both agreed these were the best dinners we had during our stay on the Long Beach peninsula. We highly recommend this establishment on your next visit down to the area.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere with an excellent gourmet menu. The staff is attentative and well versed with the menu.

Gave this a second chance. Won't ever be back cod fish and chips HEAVELY breaded fries under done. The waiter didn't check with us, so we couldn't rectify our problems. The fish was cod. It was 24.00 for each serving. Way to much for quality!

Food was great. Had the clams pasta. Delicious. Outside of building doesn't do justice to inside which is nice and quaint. Only server for our section was over whelmed but not inattentive. Would definitely come back again.

Excellent food and sprouts of an old train depot in Long Beach, WA. Not an inexpensive place, with the bill running to $340 for 5 people. Keep in mind, that included 2 bottles of wine and a few other drinks. I had the filet mignon and it was fantastic, running around $32. Make reservations!!!

We are Ocean Park residents and have lived here going on 3 years and never went to the Depot. We decided to go for our anniversary on August 10th. It was absolutely awesome. My husband had the 7 oz felit migon, and I had the rib eye. Both were perfectly cooked and the dinner drinks and dessert were amazing! The staff was fantastic! We went again tonight for my husbands 78 birthday. The staff again was fantastic, dinner not as good as the first time. My husbands filet mignon was half the size as previously, my French Onion soup did not come out looking very appealing, and just a total difference in atmosphere. We will go back, as no other place compares to the quality and service of the Depot. It is now our go-to place on the Peninsula!

I had the scallops with apple spinach salad with a tequila margarita, my husband had the rockfish chef special with a cider and we split the chocolate caramel brownie. Everything was so delicious, we highly recommend this restaurant. It was kind of fancy but comfortable, and our server was so nice.

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner here over the long weekend. Fantastic cocktails, perfectly cooked entrees and fresh local ingredients. If I lived in the area I would be a frequent diner here.

Our favorite place on the Peninsula. It has the low-key vibe of a local hangout, with engaging wait staff and bartenders. The food is fantastic.

This place is so adorable! We visited last year for my birthday (just now getting to doing reviews of our travel) The food was literally to die for! I was not a fan of seafood before visiting but I am up to try anything new, especially at places like this. This place changed my view on seafood! I am now a seafood lover! The staff were very accommodating and lovely! Highly recommend a reservation as it does get busy quick! Definitely will come back!

We ar local family. Steaks are legit! Food is wonderful, my daughter loved the spaghetti and meatballs. We will be back!

A friends birthday dinner. Sorry I didn't take photos. The food was divine. I had Shanghai Prawns (to die for), others had Oysters, Southern Comfort and house special Salmon. Surprised that a salad wasn't offered - a bit pricey, but well worth it. Please indlude/offer a side salad. Loved loved loved my dish.

My sister and I had such a lovely experience here when we came for dinner! I’ve been here many times before and it never disappoints! Our server and also bartender was Maddie and she was amazing. Starting with the incredible cherry lemon drop she made me when I asked for something fun and delicious (and ending with a great dessert recommendation) She shared that it was her own recipe and we think it’s worthy of being a staple there. All aspects of dinner were fantastic and we look forward to going back. Thank you Depot for being so satisfying😁

Tonight we ordered the vegetarian option which was a soba noodle with garlic and ginger dish. Since this was clearly labeled as *vegetarian* there was no reason to ask, but my husband has a severe fish allergy so I just wanted confirm that there wasn’t any fish sauce in it. We were both shocked, there was fish sauce in the *vegetarian* dish! If I hadn’t asked, it would have been a trip to the emergency room! I was so upset we canceled both orders.

Wonderful food and wonderful service. I will definitely go and eat there again. We had the rib eye steak and it was delicious.

I'm not sure how many times I have rated this place, we come here often. It's arguably the best restaurant in the peninsula. This time we had a table of 10 and were accommodated nicely. The food seems to be better since the new ownership took over, that is hard to believe because it was so good before

Some of the best food and drinks we had in the long beach area. It's definitely a higher end dining experience. I haven't been to any other high-end restaurant like this on the washington or Oregon coast, just because they don't exist. This place is a must if you enjoy a higher end restaurant.

The salmon with chanterelle mushrooms was easily the best salmon I've ever had. I had never had these mushrooms before, but they were fantastic. My fiance had ribeye steak, and was equally delicious. The drinks were overpriced, but the food was worth it.

We are here 2 nights in a row and the food was too shelf both nights. I preferred the atmosphere on the patio out back. I loved Vinnie and hope he stays around

We didn’t have a reservation but were able to sit at the bar where the new bartender was very friendly and charming. We had the Peruvian mango sea scallops and the roasted summer corn which were both amazing… refreshing and delicious and very creative in flavours. The main courses were very but maybe not quite as wow as the appies. Super cute place. Highly recommend!

Historic, cozy building. Lovely bar. Great menu, and a superb OR and WA wine list. Corkage fee $20, which we used. Willapa oysters sauteed in oil and herbs were good. Scallops in 3 colorful sauces were good. They made a mixed veggie side bowl for me; much appreciated, though green beans were tough. My salad was good...including great blue cheese, but pear slices were really green, flavorless. Spouse had clam chowder, easily the best in the country! O.M.G. Caramel brownie was good. Server Adrienne was fantastic. Definitely will return. I suspect despite the plethora of seafood dishes there, except for that chowder, the other land-based meat dishes may be better. Highly recommend, as most small towns in the US do not have restaurants this good, with menus this good.

We ordered the pork shoulder and the scallop salad…. Both were Absolutely Delicious! Pork shoulder == solid American comfort food. Scallops were cooked to perfection with a light and airy salad - fresh and delightful. Knowledgeable server with fabulous customer service! Oh… and very good wine list and cocktail options! We’ll be back!

My wife and I have been here several times before and knew it would be a great place to have a birthday dinner for my father-in-law. The service is exceptional. From the menu and fresh ingredients, to the atmosphere and care - this place is special.

We’ve been going to The Depot for years; to celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, Mother and Father’s Day…pretty much any kind of celebration we can celebrate, The Depot is our go-to restaurant. The service is good, the atmosphere is interesting and the food is sublime. I felt like there was a bit of a hiccup when ownership was transferred, and wasn’t too happy with what I felt was a culinary blip in time, but, having been back a few times to see if things had improved, I am happy to say I feel like they have! So, let’s talk about the food! The Clam Chowder is wonderfully flavorful and clammy! It’s not a thick chowder, but a sublime broth that wakes up your tastebuds and gets your tummy going for the next course ahead! The perfect way to whet your whistle!Don’t forgo the chowder. My husband always orders the Ribeye Steak with garlic mash potatoes. It fills him up and satiates his caveman carnivore persona. He is always pleased with the sear of the steak and the accompanying potatoes are heartily enjoyed. This time around I ordered the Seared Scallops on puréed butternut squash, with apples and radishes. What a happy plate of food! I was nervous about the radish part, but they were so sweet and yummy, I couldn’t taste a hint of any bitter radish. The smooth squash paired beautifully with the Scallops, who were truly the star on the plate. Dare I say old Gordon Ramsey would have been proud, I’m sure! I snarfed up the entire plate, and the best part is, I wasn’t overstuffed. The portion size was perfect. A wonderful, lighter dish than my usual go to, which is the Southern Comfort Pork. Now THAT is a perfect plate of food for a cold, wet PNW day. Oh my, it is so good! Make sure to try the pork at least once…..and if it’s cold and rainy. Mmmmm! Truly, you can’t go wrong with any of the offered fare at The Depot. Take some time and get yourself over to the peninsula’s best hidden gem. The Depot is excellent.

Had a delicious dinner with my husband and sister in law - each meal was expertly prepared. Portions were generous and the atmosphere was friendly. Great place for couples/adults who want a nice quiet dinner experience.

Well, I was really looking forward to treating my wife to a nice dinner on Mother's Day. Started off great. The Tai Calamari was the best we'd ever had. Highly recommend it. Then the bad news; after waiting for over an hour, we were told our dinner order never got put in, so it would be another long wait (they were really busy) so we left as we didn't want to leave our dog alone that much longer in our rental. Pretty disappointed. They did comp our drinks and the calamari, but disappointed.

We ran into it and were surprised to find a great place with good food/drinks and services. We thought all the restaurants in LB were touristy…

The meal was wonderful. Service was excellent. Will be coming back.

Nice little place off the beaten path at Long Beach. They have a full bar plenty of seating the food is exceptional the desserts are really tasty bathrooms are clean no funky smells there's parking off to the side of the restaurant end on the street

$$$ I had the duck breast with cherry rice pilaf, came with mix of carrots, green beans and cauliflower. Delicious. Birding friend had the spring coho salmon special that she was quite pleased with. Portion size generous. Bread with olive oil balsamic vinegar dip that friend enjoyed somewhat more than I did. The balsamic could have been tangier and a bit more robust for me. Deserts we had - Salted Caramel Brownie and special Apple Crisp, both topped with ice cream, luscious and filling.

We had a very pleasant and tasty dinner here. Lots of shellfish on the menu. My pan-fried oyster dinner with smashed potatoes and sauteed veggies was quite good. Also on the menu was a halibut special, rack of lamb, rib-eye steak and Parmesan chicken. Extensive wine, beer and spirits offerings. Service was excellent - friendly, prompt and attentive. Recommend!

The only real negative I have for The Depot is the prices. The food and service are both excellent. We have to reserve this for special occasions.

Went here for a birthday dinner and had a nice time! Cocktails were great, food was good, service was warm and welcoming. We got the ribeye special, the Dungeness crab mac and cheese, a house salad and the lemon creme brulee. Dessert was by far our favorite part, followed closely by the old fashioned I had before dinner. Thanks for making it a special evening!

This is a top-notch restaurant with a menu ranging from Duck to pan-fried oysters.

This is the best restaurant on the peninsula. Period. It's a little pricey, but at least you don't feel ripped off like many of the area restaurants. I've been eating here for years and have never had a bad meal. It recently changed hands but the quality seems to be holding up. There's no other restaurant nearby that gets this high of a recommendation from me. One caveat: They have a burger night on Wednesday in the off season that is very good, but is probably a little expensive for what you get. You can get as good of a burger elsewhere on the peninsula for less. They need to cut the price a couple of bucks, especially when running out of the food cart. I've bought my last burger from their food cart. I'll pay extra for the ambiance when dining in, but I won't pay those prices for a food cart.

The servers were all wonderful, the atmosphere is fun but I didn't really get train depot vibes, more like James bond bar vibes. We had the crab Mac and cheese and loved it, two steak dinners and thought it was cooked to perfection. I had the chicken parm and it was good. The sides came luke warm, one was returned and came back microwaved which seemed to bit wrong for the price. Fun to try, cute atmosphere but can't say food matches price.

So good, one of our favorites in this area. The food and service is always on point. Make more ice cream cake! Seriously it's so good!

This is by far the best restaurant in the Ilwaco/Long Beach area. It's a bit small and always packed, but otherwise a great space. All servers were friendly and always on top of drinks and any other needs. They have a great wine and drink selection. The food is spectacular and at a reasonable price for the quality. We had Peruvian Mango Sea Scallops for an appetizer, and they were everything! Melt in your mouth and amazing flavor. For entrees we had the ribeye special with mashed potatoes and veggies. The steak was so flavorful and tender, and cooked to perfection. Second entree was duck confit with wild rice and veggies. This is the best duck and wild rice I have had in a very long time. For dessert we had the toffee and brownie ice cream cake special. Definitely the best ice cream cake I have ever had. This restaurant will be a must visit anytime I'm in the area.

Really great experience! Server was absolutely stellar, food was of excellent quality and well prepared. I loved the nostalgia of the spinach salad with warm bacon dressing, and it's always wonderful to receive a steak cooked to perfection. The Depot never disappoints.

The food was exceptional, the service was fantastic. Go for the brussels sprouts. We shared an entrée, and there was plenty of it. We’ve been hearing about this place on our visits to the area for a while, and we finally made it there. We will certainly return.

I dine here 2x a month. Live the atmosphere. The food is always superb and the waitstaff friendly, efficient and used plates immediately removed.

The moment you walk through the door, you are welcomed and feel at home. Lovely ambience, perfect lighting and smiles everywhere. The food, as usual, was outstanding from the wilted spinach salad, pan fried oysters, southern comfort pork shoulder to the salted caramel brownie. Everything was cooked to perfection and well paced. We enjoyed our dinners so much, we made reservations for tomorrow night.

We have ate at the Depoe several times and have loved the many entrées we have tried. It is a quaint little restaurant reflecting days gone bye for Seaview. I love the fact that they have taken a historical building and turned it into something we can continue to enjoy. The help was very pleasant and attentive. Thank You Depoe. We will be back.

We always love eating in this small but wonderful and caring restaurant. Because their food is amazing, I’m sure there’s never been a bad feedback. They told my husband, “happy birthday” several times and brought him his dessert of choice on the HOUSE!

Fine dining on the peninsula, except one night is a hamburger night (at least it was a few years back when we tried it). Seafood, lamb, steak. My husband had a southern comfort pork shoulder which he said was amazing. Yummy deserts. We were there on a very cold January night for my birthday and I was given a free dessert. Our waitress was attentive and helpful with suggestions. Very small, cozy place.

We had a reservation and were given the chef's table, right next to the kitchen. We watch some of our meal being cooked. Great friendly service. We had the Mango scallops small dish, melt in your mouth. French onion soup for my wife and wilted spinach salad for me, both very good. My wife had duck for main meal and I had special center cut ribeye, both were wonderful. I got some tips on cooking duck breast from the chef.

I order the ribeye every time & always comes cooked perfectly. The service was superb. I love their craft cocktail selection & I'm impressed by their bourbon selection.

The Crab Mac as an appetizer was delicious (5*). We both had the special rib steak for dinner. Both our steaks were cooked to perfection (5*), fresh vegetables cooked to perfection (5*), mashed potatoes (4*)were a little too soft but still complimented the dinner. My friend ordered Crème Brûlée for dessert (3*). Service very attentive, nice atmosphere. Overall great birthday experience.

Got the pleasure of visiting this little gem tonight. I don't know why I've been punishing myself by not doing this sooner. There simply aren't words. Just go there and get anything. Anything at all. It's all fantastic! I shall return to the depot.

The Depot Restaurant continues as one of the premier fine dining places in our area. Our food was excellent. The oyster appetizers were amazing. Ordered both pan fried and the broiled petite oysters in garlic lime butter. We are oyster lovers and were very pleased. Our entrees exceeded our expectations. The chargrilled ribeye and filet were done to perfection. The ribeye was a very large portion and the filet ample. The king salmon special was delicious and nicely prepared. The four of us were celebrating a delayed holiday get together. What a treat! Service was also superb. Well done, Depot staff, well done!!

It’s just so good. I think it’s the best restaurant on the northern Oregon and Washington coast. Our wilted salad was perfect, the rockfish, the steak and that caramel brownie. Our server made us feel special. Fantastic place. I’ve come here over and over because it’s consistently good.
