Great food, great people. Always good food and nice, fast service. We order pick up and the order is always correct and fresh. When we in at the Fillin Station we always get great service.

We can't rate the food, just the extremely poor service. The server literally sat and took the orders of 3 other tables, after we were seated, all the while we sat there and watched her continue to wait on every table but ours. No drinks, and she tossed our menus at us and walked away. No greeting, and didn't even look at us. She then started running out of food to the tables who were sat after us! Unreal! Since she didn't even speak to us, I don't know her name, but she's the short, rude brunette who waits on locals and ignores a newbie like ourselves. We were really looking forward to trying this place and becoming a new local, but neither my husband nor myself will go there again. Sad too, because this place was suggested by a life long resident. I'm sure she will be embarrassed by your behavior.

This place was overall a decent restaurant and worth your visit if you’re in town. For all of you people with kids out there that will only eat chicken tenders and French fries, this place will work! The chicken is amazing along with the fries, and there is bottomless lemonade. Most people who go here get delivery, but there is nothing wrong with eating inside, I have done both. Overall a great place.

Delicious. What more can I say. We stopped here after going through dogwood and it hit the spot. The staff was really friendly and the food was awesome. We had the nachos and a fillin station burger and each were something to write home about. We'll need to make this a must go for when we come back into town.

We didn't eat here this time. I couldn't breathe and started to have an asthma attack due to the smell of marijuana that was so strong. This is not the first time it has been like this but it was the first time it was so bad I was starting to have problems breathing.

OMG, my wife had the catfish, and I had the grilled chicken breast salad. Both were outstanding and reasonably price. Service was just as great. Also to take home we got big bag of Pork Rinds and hummingbird cake. Yum yum. We will be back for more.

Brisket and Ham sandwich, as good as it sounds.

This place is awesome! You might have to wait a few minutes on a Friday or Saturday night but it is WELL worth it! Good home cooking 😊 and be SURE to save some room for one of their AMAZING desserts 🥧

We happen to come upon this nostalgic “filling station” and we got full. It was amazing, food to atmosphere ! They had lots of menu options but we had catfish and shrimp some of the best catfish I have ever eaten! Salads so fresh and great sweet tea. Service was excellent I would highly recommended great food!

If you’ve never tried this place, run don’t walk. It’s one of those places where everything on the menu is fantabulous. I’m not even kidding or exaggerating. The is the best food you’ll get anywhere around the area.

We've eaten here a couple times and it's always been great food. Potions are big and pricing is in line with most places these days, not cheap, not expensive. It is a small eating area so expect a wait if you go at a popular time.

This might be a hole in the wall joint but it is crazy good food. The staff is fantastic.

Stopped in at this restaurant, a while back, enjoyed a really good salad, seriously filled me up, and my friend had a fantastic meal of pulled pork, coleslaw, and salad. The scenic view was really nice. Was definately very happy with the food. Went to West Jr. High, and Schlagle high school with Cindy.

We are from Central Illinois and recently stayed at a nearby resort in Lampe. My wife and I were only in town for 3 days to check out the area for future resort vacations with the family.We were looking for a nearby restaurant and ran across the “ fillin station “. The food and service was so good that we ate there all 3 days. My wife’s birthday was Friday and the owner Cindy gave her a delicious cinnamon roll to enjoy. We will definitely pass the word and return as soon as we can. This restaurant deserves 10 stars.

Always a great place to eat. I wind up working in the area around lampe pretty often and The Fillin' Station is always satisfying at lunchtime.

A surprise to find on a road trip looking for properties in the area! The initial greeting and the atmosphere was very laid back and friendly. The catfish was very good and done right! Service was very friendly but a tad bit slow. I will be returning to try more of their expansive menu of smoked meat.

Catfish was pure mush and not edible. Told the server but she didn’t seem to care. Let them know at checkout that I would save my receipt as a souvenir from the last time we will ever eat there. $55 for three people and two of the meals were disgusting.

Went down for lunch. I had the Frito Pie (Fritos, pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, grated cheese, sour cream and plenty of BBQ sauce). My wife had the 1 1/2 lb loaded baked potatoes (topped with melted cheese, pulled pork, sour cream and BBQ sauce). A lot of food for the price. Service was also good.

Absolutely top notch home style cooking! Been coming here for several years and it never disappoints. Chicken fried chicken, pork tenderloin and a bbq baked potato.

Just look at this salad. Salad with 3 oz of the best smoked brisket I've had in a long time alongside some of the best pulled pork I've had in a long time. Oh, and there was a salad underneath it.

Amazing little place on Hwy 13, if your not looking for it, you can pass it by! Staff is excellent and the food is all homemade! Excellent place to eat and highly recommend it!

Love this place best and freshest BBQ around. Just like back home Texas BBQ. This family has it down. Deep appreciation that it's family run. They take their family serious. And the best darn pork skins I've ever eaten. But you gotta getem early. They sell out fast.

I had the friday special of half catfish and half shrimp. It was great. Breading was light and crispy. It also came with what seemed to be homemade chips, hushpuppies and excellent coleslaw. Everything seemed fresh and homemade. The decor was great. I liked browsing the vast license plate collection on the walls and the antique gas station memorabilia. Only downside is the place doesn't have many tables and gets quite busy (but that's a sign they're good). 😉

Hands down best home cooked food. Everything is made from scratch. We came in town for a family vacation and saw this place on Google so we tried it. So glad we did. Looks like an old gas station converted into a little dinner so don't judge by looks. Their chicken was so good along with the cream corn, bread, green beans. We all got different things and Noone had any complaints only empty plates. Again all food is from scratch not frozen foods. Everything was very well priced. 7 adults ate for $86. No joke! Staff was really really nice and knowledgeable about ever food item on the menu. If your leaving Dogwood canyon it's about 5 mins away. Well worth it. Wish we lived closer to go there more often.

Good service, family owned, variety of choices on menu and reasonably priced. Hamburger was tasty, barbecue brisket was melt in your mouth tender. Fries & onion rings good.

Really love all their meat products, but their vegetables are terrible! Taste canned, overcooked and mushy! But I get my order and just throw away their veggies! Also, good home baked bread! Very nice people!

The Fillin Station is one of our favorite places to go for home-cooked meals. Servings are huge and the homemade desserts are fabulous 😍👌

The best Brisket I've ever had in a restaurant. The service was family friendly.

This was a solid BBQ joint. Our sandwiches were just excellent. The homemade chips are outstanding. We did upgrade one of our meals to fries, but it really isn't necessary.

We have not dined at this establishment for a couple years but we returned today and all our food was DELICIOUS! I had fried catfish that only had a light amount of batter. It was EXCELLANT and as light as a feather. Cole slaw was super delicious and light fried potato skins. I watch my carb intake.Everything was EXCELLENT!! I promise we shall return!

Small place, Mom and pops place. Pulled pork sandwich was amazing!!!!! If you pass this little gem!!!! You are crazy. I love the atmosphere here, I enjoyed the sandwich and homemade chips!!!! Great food is an understatement. Sometimes I hate leaving these reviews, knowing that they will get even busier then they are. They are open until 7pm and I'm sure that everyone will want to visit. My suggestion is this. Go hungry!!! Not your average plan to eat. Plane and simple. Amazing food and people!!! Tell them that Ronnie G sent ya!!!

What a pleasant surprise this was. The food was delicious, but the customer service was over the top. It’s hard to find that anymore. We had the loaded baked potato, and man was it ever. We could only eat a fourth of it and took the rest home. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Great food, great service, nice people

Just... wow. We ordered a Cuban Sandwich, Reuben, and 1/2 Chicken Meal. It was all absolutely delicious. We moved from PR to Springfield 3 years ago and this is by far one of the best BBQ we've ever tried.

Absolutely good food and great people who run it. Haven't had a bad experience yet and man the food is incredible. They are currently closed till for a much deserved and needed break until January the 12 or 15th not too sure but yes you won't be disappointed with anything on their menu!

This place is perfection and the owners are so incredibly kind. I will forever come here for the white chocolate bread pudding with raspberry sauce. It is made from scratch and it is to die for. The brisket is also fantastic and the best I ever had.
