Recommended from Andrew P at the W South Beach, he definitely gave us the right call! We walked right into the restaurant and felt a European vibe which was fantastic! Everyone was dressed for dinner, the energy throughout the room thanks to the soccer matches being viewed made it palpable, everyone was happy and it made it so fun just from watching. We sat to eat and we ate, the tomato bread with Manchego (2 orders), grilled shrimp, lamb chops, olives, steak tartare and burnt basque cheesecake. Great server, great food, again everything!

Cruisin' around South Beach on The Trolley and saw this place and decided to give it a try. Absolutely wonderful! Great food, with some very traditional & yummy Spanish favorites, terrific service, a very cool vibe to the restaurant and a great patio that I would love to dine on when it isn't raining.

The food was super salty and they suggested a drink, which I asked for soft and it was undrinkable. The waiter saw that we left almost all the food and the whole drink and did not offer to change them.

One of our two favorite higher-end restaurants in Miami for special occasions and date night, thanks to the amazing food and cozy atmosphere! The croquetas, pan con tomate, and the tortilla are standout dishes - simple ingredients but incredibly flavorful!

Cool place to stop by for a few appetizers and good cocktails, I would definitely try the croquetas and the kale salad.

Lo mejor que vas a encontrar en Miami si estas lejos de Barcelona. Calidad muy buena en un ambiente con mucha onda. Lamentablemente, los precios son demasiado altos.

Nice location, very decent food ( overpriced in some instances like 37 $ for a basic and small plate of cheeses), terrible, terrrible service which spoils the whole experience. While it should be a regular place to go, we won’t return. Outdoor table . Impossible to get the waiter attention as he is very busy on his phone, or having food and drinks 4 feet from you above a noisy and stinky garbage and plate cleaning area. Impossible to reorder tapas without begging. Delivery of plates are put randomly on the table with no class and no smille. But of course the 20% service is forced on you bill when it is absolute crap! Sadly a pricey disappointment . There much more enjoyable tapas place in MB

Fuimos a este lugar en familia y la verdad que tuvimos una decepcionante experiencia. Mal servicio desde el momento que llegamos.El mesero nos dejó en la mesa y volvió como 20 minutos después a tomar la orden,ordenamos jugo de naranja para los niños y estaba ácido.En la cocina se veía un cocinero o chef que estaba sacando platos,sin guantes,tocando su celular a cada rato,muy desagradable se veia,ya que está manipulando comida de una forma anti-higienica.Muy mala experiencia, no volvería ni recomendaria nunca este lugar!!!!!

Completely ignored by all the servers who spent the evening standing around having in depth conversations with each other while we waited for service. Never once asked if we wanted more dishes or drinks and we ended up skipping mains because we were so annoyed with flagging people down for help. It would do this restaurant well to have some further training in service for employees.

Delightful evening and very nice ambiance for our large group of friends. The only disappointment was it was a Sunday night and there was no beef on the menu available. Didn't bother me as I don't eat meat- however my companions were very disappointed. Otherwise the prices were very reasonable for a night out. Thanks

Your server Noel thinks it’s ok to up charge your martinis on the menu without asking and without the drink even coming out with 3oz of vodka. Those guests who don’t know probably pay for the drink and feel stiffed without knowing. That’s STEALING. Your staff robs guests. Your management gets drunk on shift with his friends. You’re not only robbing guests but putting your liquor license in jeopardy. Your beverage program isn’t even strong. Your cocktails were poorly balanced. Overall I truly expect and am hopeful an owner or partner reaches out. Your business and pockets will be grateful. Start by getting rid of your employees who rob your guests and managers who think being incoherent on the job is appropriate.

Después de pasar casi todo el día buscando un Auténtico Restaurante Español .. entrando y saliendo de los que decían serlo y Ná ..nos encontramos con Barceloneta Miami, what a Great place ! The food is so good , comimos tortilla ! It was amazing .. camarones al ajillo y por recomendación de Tomás “el Bartender “ Grilled Alcachofas Wow !!! So amazing ! Tomás es de lo más lindo y lo más bello .. nos enamoró con su sonrisa y su buena vibra ! Nos sentamos en el bar y con él pasamos un rato súper lindo ! Gabriel el Manager quien nos recibió en la entrada fue súper atento con nosotros .. quedamos encantados con el lugar ! A Home away From Home .. Recomiendo este lugar !! Y me saludan a Tomás !

We came for New Year’s Eve and made a meal of tapas. They were all excellent, including eggplant with honey, salpicon of seafood, artichoke with iberico ham and egg, shrimp in garlic sauce, and croquetas. Our server was charming and helpful. The ambience was relaxed and unpretentious. Great place.

Came here for some drinks since my brother lives across the streets .what a cool restaurant very cozy, and the bar is just awesome to hang out on. I will definitely come back and try their food. They have a cool outdoor area that's actually Lower the the streets, so it komd of feels like a hidden outdoor area it does remind me a bit of the underground New york resuarhats. Sorry, I didn't have the chance to take more pics and videos. The cocktails kicked in 😆 and I lost track. 😆

Great food and atmosphere. The manager brought over pan de tomate because our table wasn’t ready, which was very thoughtful. I appreciate that kind of service, they definitely went above and beyond!

Excellent food and staff. I wanted to keep eating everything. Vegetarian paella was a surprise hit, croquetas yum, calamari perfect, kale salad yes please. For dessert the bread puddling and cheesecake were both amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

De pura casualidad llegamos a este delicioso restaurante nombrado Barceloneta Miami. Para empezar unas croquetas de setas y queso manchego que fueron una maravilla al paladar. Altamente recomendadas. Luego pedimos tres platos para compartir que fueron fabulosas sorpresas. El primero de los platos fue el pez lenguado, presentado de una manera maravillosa y con un sabor exquisito como para repetir. El pez viene acompañado de una salsa verde que me atrevo a decir es un poco afrodisíaca. :) Los camarones al ajillo fueron el segundo plato y aunque un poco picosos, bien sabrosos. Los camarones puedes pedirlos con una barra pan crujiente con el cual puedes saborear la salsa roja de este manjar. El tercer plato y mi preferido fue el calamar a la plancha. Un plato cocinado de manera sencilla, no frito y con un sabor fresco y ligero. Además el calamar viene servido encima de un delicioso pure con granos de lentejas. Una combinación magnífica la cual me gustaría degustar una vez más. Solo tengo una nota negativa, la crema catalana que se sentía un poco fría y no muy fresca. Pero bueno, aunque el postre no fue el mejor cierre, recomiendo este delicioso rincón español, sus sabores y los Gin tonics que tienen para ofrecer. Ojalá tengas rica y divertida experiencia como la nuestra en la Barceloneta Miami. Buen provecho.

For a unique dinning experience, Barceloneta never disappoints. Excellent wine, cocktail list, the tapas are out of this world. The service is the best. A wonderful night out.

Busy location, I recommend having reservations. Food, service and atmosphere are awesome. I keep visiting it every time, I am in south florida. Totally recommend it.

Fantastic Spot to get away from the loud party scene and still get great food. Gin and tonic was on point. Also enjoyed the skirt steak, Brussel sprouts and octopus. Would highly recommend.

All the tapas we ordered were fantastic. We ordered patatas bravas, tortilla española, ibérico ham and manchego cheese board and the little neck clams. Ambiance was really great as was the service! Awesome place to go for a date.

Don't make the same mistake i did ! Half a drink, not a whole drink, $20... So, two halves drinks, $40 One tapa $20... To consider a meal you will need 4 tapas. They are insultingly small, so $80. Think about spending $120 per person. A table of 4, $500... By the time you leave, you'll be thirsty, hungry and looking for another restaurant. Don't believe me ? Try it yourself... Then, don't regret !

Llegamos hoy de Canadá y queríamos comer algo rico , este restaurante nos encantó probamos el pulpo, las gambas al ajillo , tortilla española , y otras tapas . Todo súper rico , el chileno nos atendió y es súper agradable . Nuestro mesero fue Hugo súper rápido y eficaz!! Volveremos pronto !

Terrible experience ! I went on Thursday to celebrate my birthday and everything except the cold food was disappointing. We waited in the host station for ten minutes. When the manager took us to the table the sever and busser were whispering about us. They didnt like that we sat in their section. (We didnt know why but very uncomfortable) We waited again between 10 and 15 minutes more there, we were ready to order but they ignore us until y called one of them. The server, a man, took their order with bad manners. They never ask us if we need any recommendations or less than that they never introduce himself. The drinks came 10 minutes after the food. The server never came back to ask us if everything its ok of if we need something else. Nothing. Totally neglected. He didnt ask for another round of drinks, more plates or dessert. We waited 25 minutes por the check. My boyfriend got up from the table 3 times. At that moment I tried to talk with the manager but he was smoking in a table with three employees more so… I gave up. A disaster

Horrible experiencia en general. Estoy siendo generoso con una estrella. Reservé por open table en dia 09/14 para el cumpleaños de mi novia. Aclaré en la descripción que era el cumpleaños para que le manden un dessert con una vela. Llegamos al lugar y el Manager estaba fumando cigarrillo afuera charlando con amigos ( trabajo en gastronomía y es totalmente fuera de lugar que esté fumando mientras atiende gente). Soy fumador así que mi problema no era con el cigarrillo sino con la actitud. Nos sentó en una mesa de afuera tal como le pedimos y no le importó chequear la reserva con el request. Pesima predisposición del busser y del server. Tardaron para servir agua, para tomar las órdenes de los tragos, para runnear los tragos a la mesa, toda la experiencia fue HORRIBLE. Lo único destacable fue la comida fría 10/10: Pedimos las anchovies, el pan con tomate y un jamón ibérico con pan y queso. La comida caliente ( Gambas al ajillo y almejas ) 4/10. El server ( descripción: morocho con un arito en una oreja) MALA cara, MALA predisposición, escuché el cuchilleo con la busser mujer ( rubia )porque no les gustaba donde nos habíamos sentado. Nunca nos vino a traer la cuenta. Me paré 3 veces a pedírsela. Obviamente no dejé propina y no pienso volver NUNCA MAS. Los tragos y la comida llegaron en desorden y sin lógica. La mesa sucia. No hubo refill de agua. Pero bueno… la culpa no es del chancho sino del que le da de comer. Con un Manager sentado afuera fumando cigarrillo en una mesa como si fuera el patio de su casa… que responsabilidad y predisposición puede tener un empleado? Todo muy unprofessional y amateur. Lo más destacable repito fueron los platos fríos y la amabilidad del bartender que me ayudó a conseguir el bill para pagar e irme. Obviamente el dessert con la vela nunca llegó. Pasé por todos los puestos en un Restaurant. Dishwasher, line cook, busser, runner, server, bartender, floor manager, assistant manager, general manager y si ese fuera mi Restaurant ( aún aunque facturara) estaría preocupadisimo. Uno puede tener un error, la cocina puede sacar frío un plato pero JAMÁS en hospitalidad DESANTENDER y estar MAL predispuesto a ofrecer servicio. No se si alguien va a leer esta review.. pero me daría mucha pena ser inversor / dueño de ese lugar y que traten a los customers se esa forma.

Thought the food was good the portions of the plates (except the black rice) left a bit to be desired. Service was gracious and welcoming but maybe because of the time the late reservation it seemed like they forgot our food. Would prob try it again at an earlier time

I went in and I must tell you how amazing and exquisite Barceloneta is. People are adorable, fresh food, tasty and awesome. I recommend it so much! You can’t miss it, Spanish food ❤️ It’s from now on another must-go next time. And drinks are stunning! And 5 stars to everyone working here, adorable people.

Great food……, Excellent service…… Everything was fresh and delicious. It started raining, the waiter quickly moved our table inside, and we continue to our meal without a hitch.

The attentive service is not often found in Miami, however Barceloneta is the exception. Our water glasses were never empty and the food were served with comfortable timing. The food offerings were very much like those you would find in Spain. Can't wait to go back.

We were looking for a tapas experience more authentic than what you find at most of the places on Collins. This neighborhood gem was a short Uber ride from our hotel and well worth the extra effort. We tried a few of their more creative cocktails and several of the small plates. They were all great, and I especially recommend the roasted eggplant dip and the roasted artichoke. It's topped with a fried egg and jamon serrano. Their outdoor seating area is small but well-shaded and comfortable. Most of the other tables at our early dinner time were couples or small groups of friends.

Vinimos a cenar por primera vez aquí para el día de la madre. Queríamos probar algo nuevo y diferente ya que solemos cenar en lugares como Brickell o Wynwood. Diría que la comida era deliciosa y auténtica. sin embargo, el aspecto del servicio no fue el mejor. el servidor con cabello rojizo no fue tan amable ni servicial. cada vez que tenía una pregunta, ella respondía con una respuesta retórica o se marchaba sin que termináramos de ordenar. Diría que el asistente del servidor fue más amable y atento que ella. siendo gerente en la industria hospitalaria, me decepcionó mucho porque era un día especial para mi madre y el servicio definitivamente no podría haber sido mejor al ser una de las primeras reservas en llegar. en general, gracias a los chefs por brindarnos una comida deliciosa.

We are regulars. Food is great. Ambience too. Price seems to have gotten higher (I guess as most things). This is the first time we had a REAL BAD service. Owner seems to be the same but some new employees aren’t as friendly as others were in the past. Unfortunately, we’ll reconsider coming again vs the no brainer it used be in the past
