Great hidden gem in the Northwoods. Super friendly service. We were greated by Donna, one of the owners. This resort has been in their family for over 50 years. We sat on the outdoor deck. Surrounded by beautiful baskets of plants and bird feeders. We enjoyed the thin crust pizza and chicken, cranberry, pecan sammie. Excellent food!

I'm staying nearby and we stopped in to have a drink and order a pizza. Needless to say we should have ordered 2 pizzas. They were great and the staff were very nice and quick with the food.

Didn’t stay at the resort but stopped in for a beer and a bite to eat. The service was top notch. We were visiting from Chicago and the staff made us feel like regulars. Had the chicken pot pie which is homemade and you can taste the love. The pack patio has a beautiful view, don’t miss it!

Food and drinks were good. Not any good keto options.

Parking is a problem with an automobile during snowmobile season. Prices a bit high for the small quantities of food and off brand root beer. The chicken pot pie is a misnomer, pita bread atop thick chicken soup.

The water was perfect 😂😂😂😂😂. It was just a little chilly 🤣😃👍🏻😃

Our cabin was perfect, great view, good accommodations. We ate at the restaurant for dinner one evening and enjoyed.

Whether you're in need of a snack, meal or just drinks and some laughs, this is the place to be! Great stop if you're on the trails (snowmobile or UTV), or just out for a drive! Recommend Keewanau on tap, awesome soups, and chicken pot pie!

Website said place was open. Drove all the way there in snow covered roads just to find it closed. Business should make sure it’s open when it says it is. Only reason I gave it 3 stars…

Had lunch here with my family, wife and I both had the pork street tacos, kids both had burgers. Everything tasted delicious! Sat on the deck/patio, there were birds and flowers everywhere. Worth the stop!

If the owner is not real busy, she will fill you in on local history. Ask about Loretta Lynn's daughter owning a resort up here years ago. Cool stuff!

We visited in the middle of a cold Friday afternoon, along with dozens of other snowmobilers. Service was fast, but their pricing is that of a much higher quality establishment. We ordered a "Frito Pie", which is a normal sized bowl of chili (which was good), with Fritos sprinkled over it, jalapenos, cheese, and sour cream. As lunch, it was fine. However, it was not worth anywhere near $13.99 + tx. Most of the burgers were also $13.99, and they were average sized burgers that went by, nothing more. Next week, we will stop at Burnt Bridge Grill instead, as their burgers are $2-$3 less...so even if they are also only average, they will still be a better deal.

Great little bar, great atmosphere, right on the lake. Always a place to stop when snowmobiling.

Bauer's Dam is THE place to stay. Well kept CLEAN cabins! Donna and her staff are 5 Star people. After a recent, terrible experience at the Johnson cabin on Marshmiller Lake by Bloomer Wisconsin, I called Donna and she happened to have a vacancy. You would have to look long and hard to find a nicer place. Don't forget to visit the bar as their menu has some tasty selections!

Really great, modern menu with changing specials. Cozy atmosphere and always filled with friendly people. Has been a fixture in my family's northwoods adventures for decades, and I will gladly continue the tradition.

This is a perfect hide-a-way up north. We enjoyed everything! We loved the food, the people and the we enjoyed the Hide-A-Way cabin. It's been a few years now, and we keep coming back! This year, due to illness, we are unable to return. We will miss it for sure!

Bauer’s Dam is the place to go if you want quality dining….food, atmosphere and clean service. Of course the soup is FANTASTIIC but all sandwiches ( and pizza) are winners!!!!

GREAT FOOD, holy smokes, I could have devoured a 5 gallon pail of the potato salad. No joke, when she said that they sold it in bulk during the summer months, I about skipped for joy. Great services and even better food. The view alone is worth it. Has always been a stopping place along our snowmobile trips.

A great family runs a great business! The BEST soup anywhere around, pizza is great! Perfectly decorated bar, an amazing outdoor deck with a phenomenal view of the lower lake. A MUST if you are anywhere near the area!

This place is a must stop on our snowmobile trips, their chicken dumpling soup is one of a kind, my buddies drinks kept disappearing though and he kept having to get refills lol!

The owners are the best. Gave the group a ride to our rental cabin when we probably should not have been on the road. Always right there with the complimentary salty snacks ;-)
