Best tasting cake EVER. The cake was one of my favorite things about my wedding. The ordering process and tasting were great, Tara is AMAZING!! Highly recommend especially if you go to Majestic Oaks for your venue and it’s included in the package!

Wow. I am still dreaming about our wedding cake. It was not only beautiful but quite literally the best wedding cake I’ve ever had. Tara has great communication, and great service. We also decided to get one of her add ons for a grazing table. It was a hit at our wedding. We keep getting comments about how good the cake and grazing table were. I would recommend Tara for your wedding needs. Our cake looked and tasted absolutely amazing thanks to her.

The Bavarian Cakery prepared their famous Bavarian cheesecake for my daughter's recent wedding. It was delicious! They also prepared mini desserts that were also very good. The Bavarian Cakery's team was professional and courteous from the beginning. They were always quick to reply to my emails which helped the planning process go smoothly.

THE BEST CAKE EVER! Tara and her team did an incredible job at being organized, professional, and delivering a beautiful wedding & grooms cake. However, it could have been a plain sheet cake and I would still be raving about it because it was absolutely delicious. Our guests have not stopped talking about how good the cake was, and I must agree. I myself have been craving our wedding cake since & hope to enjoy more of their delicious cakes in the near future.

We opted for a non traditional wedding dessert and Bavarian Cakery came through for us! We had assorted mini pies and our guests loved them!

We used Bavarian Cakery for our wedding and we were so happy with them! We had brownies, tiramisu cups, and a 4 tier cake all f which were delicious. We wanted the cake design to be simple and elegant and they executed perfectly with helpful design tips. All communication throughout the process was thorough and very helpful, and the delivery day of went off without a hitch!

We hired Bavarian Cakery to make the wedding cake for our December 2023 wedding and had such a great experience working with Tara & her team. They were kind, responsive, and professional. Also, the cake was incredibly delicious. We received so many comments from guests about how much they enjoyed it!!

SO easy to work with! It was great that we could get a dessert table and cake from the same company. She was able to accommodate vegan AND gluten free cupcakes, and everything was delicious! She even accommodated our wacky requests of "put DNA on the cake but make it look elegant." I am not a decorator and asked her to choose the cake stand and decorate dessert table. She agreed and it was a huge weight off my shoulders - and it looked great! We're still eating our leftovers a week later and it's still amazing. Very affordable pricing as well. The tasting went smoothly and she even accommodated us as we arrived late. I loved all the options we tasted.

Bavarian Cakery made the best cake that I will ever have in my life. Not only was the cake itself perfect, but the design and personal touch they put on the wedding cake and groom cake blew away our expectations! I am eagerly looking forward to our first anniversary to have a reason to eat more of that cake.

Our wedding cake was beautiful and delicious, and Tara was so easy to work with! She was able to make gluten free, egg free cupcakes to accommodate multiple of our guests’ dietary restrictions at once. These understandably had to be ordered in one dozen cupcake increments, and despite not having anywhere near 12 people who had these dietary restrictions they must have been tasty because I don’t think we had any left!

OMG you guys you have no idea how amazing this place smells you walk in and literally you were taken to a place you never wanna leave. It’s almost as senses overload. It is warm and inviting the owner is very nice and very accommodating. And the cakes oh my goodness They are so incredibly beautiful they could be on any one of the reality shows and take first place. The flower details are so realistic I wanted to touch it to see if it was real or not I didn’t but I wanted to. They have a cheesecake that melts in your mouth literally I mean the sugar crystals dissolve on your tongue it’s just I can’t even explain it’s so good if you’ve ever had a Bavarian cream donut imagine that mix with cheesecake mixed with fairy dust and happiness and you’ll come close to how amazing the food here is. It is by appointment only, so you can’t just show up and walk in. They do offer tastings But again you have to call and make an appointment and set everything up. If you’re getting married and you’re looking for a bride and groom cake or if you have an event coming up and you want a large sheet cake come here. It is pricey but it is so worth it. in fact invite me wink wink I’d love an excuse to go back.

Hi my name is Karmelette my mom hired this company however we were disappointed i recieved asking about payments for the cake thinking my wedding was that week of September 16 my wedding was the 24 I was told cake would not be delivered and the cake was finished however my cake was the following week and my payment was completed prior too I told them this was mistake my cake was following week and do not give me a cake that was two weeks old that is what I got my guest complained the whole night on how dry this cake was and it tasted like refrigerator it is now a year later my anniversary so we saved the top tier and we cut it inside was baked black specs look like little bugs are insects it was clear something was in the batter please be careful I read the other reviews but my experience was horrible I guess they choose who they are nice too my cake was a heart broken experience

I emailed the bakery and was contacted by Tara who was very professional, patient and helpful. Ultimately, I gave creative control to her and the finished product was absolutely adorable. I couldn't have been more pleased. The cake and cupcakes were delicious. There wasn't a crumb left behind. Thank you!

We used Bavarian Cakery for our wedding, and loved the way that the cake came out. The tasting experience was fun and ensured we picked the perfect flavors for the day of our wedding. During the tasting we provided pictures of how we wanted the cake to be decorated and Bavarian Cakery absolutely nailed it. The cake came out looking great and was delicious. Bavarian Cakery did a GREAT job on our wedding desserts!! My husband is not a huge cake guy, so we requested a tiered cookie cake for our cake and it was perfect! We also did cupcakes in a variety of flavors that were a big hit! I look forward to using them again in the future!

All we can say is WOW!!! Our cake and desserts came out gorgeous!! Our wedding venue did not have power until 6pm the day of our wedding. The Bavarian team stepped up to work with my coordinator to drop off my cake last minute so nothing melted and stayed in tact for our reception. Everything again was gorgeous. We are grateful our coordinator saved our pudding cups and cake pops that were left over for us to take home because now we can’t stop eating them, they are incredible. I would recommend Bavarian to anyone!!!! And will be back for any other special event!

We found Bavarian Cakery through our venue as it is the preferred vendor for Townhall Texas and I could not be happier! We setup a cake tasting and fell in love immediately. Tara was kind and professional and personable. She looked at my design and when I saw the cake on our wedding day I could not believe how perfect it was! In the middle of our planning stages I was diagnosed with Celiac disease and I called to see they could do, she assured me she would make sure I could eat my own wedding cake and let me tell you, the gluten free tier she made for me was just as delicious as the cake we had at our cake tasting. She had a piece precut and hid behind the actual cake so we could still cut our cake but eat the gluten free version. She also sent home a tier for our one year anniversary that is also gluten free!! It was perfect! Thank you Tara and all of your staff who are all courteous and helpful! We will be back!!

Very nice and established family business. Our tasting was a very fun experience, and the flavors were delicious. The artwork on the actual wedding cake was very well executed with beautiful knife palette painted flowers. The cake was a little bit drier and firmer compared to the tasting but still tasted good. This is likely due to ensuring that the cake stands firm and stable. Do recommend!

For the service we purchased them (wedding cake, cake topper application, and delivery) they did a fantastic job. The consultation meeting was also amazing. They were very helpful with getting a cake design and size down with the ideas we were coming in with. Also gave a good amount of sampling and time during the consultation to make sure we had everything to make a sound decision. I would highly suggest this business for any cakes and pastries for any occasion you are wishing to get the best service provided to.

Bavarian Cakery was recommended to us by our day-of-coordinator. I don't usually like the taste of wedding cakes but I realized it was because I had not had Bavarian cakery yet! We ordered a carrot cake for the groom's cake and wedding white for the bridal cake. They were both absolutely delicious. We also ordered some tiramisu shooters which were great. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because when we told them our wedding was under 75 guests we were told we could not do a tasting in person so we had to pick up our cake samples to try on at home which was not the cake sampling experience we were hoping for. Overall, I do recommend them for your cake and dessert needs. Once I get some professional pictures of the cakes back I will post them. The groom's cake was phenomenal!! Edit: I ordered 24 Buckeye cake balls but only saw 14 on the cake and none on the dessert table. I inquired today after looking at pictures about the ten missing Buckeye cake balls, and they insisted there is 24 on the cake and that I am not seeing them. Well, I can count and there is definitely only 14 on the cake. I did find out from my coordinator that the other ten did arrive but were not placed on the table. I’m not sure where the miscommunication was between the coordinator and Bavarian cakery but they were supposed to be set out along with the rest of the desserts. I still recommend their services but you need to be very clear about how you want the dessert table to look.

I was very excited to use this bakery for my wedding as they provide gluten-free and dairy-free options for wedding cakes. Some of my family and guests are gluten-free and dairy-free. I had planned on a gluten-free and dairy-free tiered cake that would serve the few who had allergies and supplement with sheet cakes from elsewhere. However, I learned that doing so is considered a "conflict of interest for Bavarian Cakery". They feel that people would "see the tiered cake and compare with the taste of the sheet cakes, they would not be the same quality. We will need to decline." I'm extremely disappointed that they can not do my wedding cake and I would caution anyone in my position to reconsider going with this bakery.

Bavarian cakery did my cakes for my wedding last year. We just got our free 1st annniversay tier and I was reminded how amazing the cake was. We did their Bavarian cheesecake cake for my wedding cake, and spice cake for my husbands groom cake. Everyone loved our cake, ESPECIALLY me. I have never been a fan of wedding cake so when I tasted their cake with the Bavarian cream in the middle, I was immediately hooked. It was like no other wedding cake I had ever tasted. It was also absolutely beautiful. I couldnt recommend them enough!

Tara and Stephanie are so nice and were very helpful throughout the whole process. Our cake went above and beyond our expectations! And the chocolate bavarian was the biggest hit at our wedding. Bavarian Cakery was fantastic! The lemon cake was divine and she did a fantastic job on a chocolate groom’s cake displaying all my husband’s favorite teams. My wedding was on 5/7/22. I am vegan and I was nervous about finding a delicious vegan cake. I’m so glad that I found Bavarian Cakery. The vegan vanilla cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful. So many people told me how fantastic it was. Some non-vegans who knew the cake was vegan were shocked at how delicious it was. My husband and I are already looking forward to getting another cake on our anniversary. The entire process was a breeze. All emails were answered promptly. I can’t recommend Bavarian Cakery highly enough!

My wedding was 5/28/22 and I can’t say enough great things about the Bavarian Cakery! From our entail consultation to the finished product, every part of the process was enjoyable and painless. I lost count of how many of our guests came up to me and told me how delicious the cake was. Our dogs played a huge role in our wedding so for my grooms cake I had them create a fire hydrant cake and no joke, my jaw hit the floor when I saw it. I had high expectations and they blew it out of the water it was freaking perfect! The hardest part in the whole process was trying to decide flavors because they all were 10/10. These guys are the real deal and will forever recommend them!

We used Bavarian Cakery for our wedding and absolutely loved it (our guests did too) ! Our cake flavors were the Vanilla Bavarian Cheesecake for our base layer and the Amaretto with Pineapple and Cream Cheese on our top 2 tiers. We went for a cake tasting back in October 2021. Tara gave us a piece of paper that listed out the different cake flavors and options for filling. She gave us space to talk amongst ourselves and make decisions but was around if we had questions. She also inquired to see if we had our other vendors finalized and provided some pamphlets and business card recommendations (per our request). The reason we we went with them instead of others: 1) The cake was moist! 2) The cake wasn't too sweet 3) The icing didn't have the granulated sugar texture 4) The flavors were so tasty and worked well together Tara was always very responsive to my emails inquiring about cake stand sizes, updates on headcount, ordering to-go containers for leftover cake, cake stand rentals and options. Throughout the process and time leading up to our wedding, we received our invoices via email, rental return reminders, and delivery time confirmations. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a tasting if you're in the market for a wedding or grooms cake. I've been eyeing my anniversary cake every time I open my freezer and my husband and I talk about ordering a cake from them for birthdays in the future too.

These guys did an amazing job making everything look & taste fantastic. We ordered a queso fountain, a charcuterie spread, an assorted dessert bar, & our wedding cake through them, and we got so many compliments on how yummy it all was. And Tara was super sweet in helping us come up with our cake design & flavors.

We used Bavarian Cakery as our dessert and cocktail hour catering vendor for our November 13th wedding at Sunset Coffee - and WOW did they blow us away!! Out charcuterie set-up was absolutely gorgeous and the cakes + smaller desserts for our reception were so delicious! All of our guests wouldn't stop raving about the amazing food. Their team is so responsive to all our emails and questions, I highly recommend to all brides in Houston to check them out!

Holy moly what a joy it has been to work with Stephanie and Tara! Not only did I have to reschedule my wedding 3 times, but I also made a lot of last minute adjustments and Tara/Stephanie were so accommodating and understanding! They made the process so smooth and I can't thank them enough for that. Now, onto the goodies.... all of our guests were swooning for everything! The cake was the best thing I've ever tasted in my life, the cookies, brownies, macaroons were scrumptious! And the pretzel bar and ice cream stand was a huge hit! They made our day so fun and I can't thank them enough!

Cakes here are good had it for my wedding however cheese cake signature cake is amazing worth my hour drive for birtday party cake, just keep in mind its a loaf that feeds about 8-10 ppl , so maybe get 2.

Bavarian Cakery did not disappoint! We received so many compliments on the appearance and great taste of our wedding cake (the Bavarian cheesecake is to DIE FOR)!! Leading up to the big day, the staff communicated so clearly and really made sure our vision for the cake came to life! We did have some initial miscommunication on design, but is was quick & effectively resolved long before our big day!! We will definitely be returning for cakes in the future (they do birthday & other special occasion cakes too)!!! ***just an iPhone picture but STILL!

Our wedding cake turned out AMAZING!!! We were unfortunately victims of the local Edible Designs scam (they disappeared with everyone's money and closed their doors without explanation), and with less than 60 days left before our wedding we were panicked to find another cake to replace what we had originally designed. Tara was absolutely amazing and met with us on a weekend (which she normally doesn't do, so that was incredibly kind of her!!). She helped us design an even more beautiful cake than the original cake, which we honestly thought was our perfect cake. This time we decided to try something completely different than our original design, and Tara really listened to our opinions. She could read our non-verbal reactions to different ideas, and she ended up designing our absolute perfect wedding cake. Although the Edible Designs incident was very upsetting and we never recovered the money we lost, we can now look back and see it as a blessing in disguise because we loved this cake so much more!!! The flavors were amazing, the design was flawless, and the delivery and setup was worry-free. Thank you so much Tara and team at Bavarian Cakery!!!

At the beginning Bavarian Cakery was a little bit of a challenge to get answers from. However, when working with them in person or over the phone, things are accomplished much more quickly and with all smiles. One mix up was that we wanted to have our college mascot on our grooms cake, which was fine and dandy until the Tuesday before our Saturday wedding when they called us to inform us that we needed to get licensing permission from the school. I am sure this was not their first cake where they needed the permission, so I was put off by the lack of warning and additional wedding week stress. However, the cakes arrived on time, tasted fantastic, and there wasn't a single piece left by the end of the night.

Our wedding was at House Estates & Mrs. Connie the wedding coordinator referred me to Bavarian Cakery. Our wedding cake was the Bavarian Cheesecake and it was amazing! We had so many compliments on the taste and how moist the cake was. Tara was even sweet enough to order us a Raspberry sauce for guests to drizzle on the cake and made it even more amazing.

My wife and I used them for our wedding last week. The cakes were perfect and tasted amazing!!!!

My wife and I ordered our wedding cake through Bavarian Cakery. The cake turned out amazing! It was beautifully designed and delicious. We highly reccomend the Bravarian Cheese Cake, it is astounding. The start of our customer service experience was a bit rocky. We did a nice sit down to hash out details and get an estimate on cake and floral arrangements, but never received an estimate or any word back on floral. So we went with a different vendor for that and the cake details somehow got lost or wasn't communicated/passed on to the right people. Once that was all figured everything went perfectly as planned. The product is amazing but the company needs a little improvement with the upfront planning.

We used them for our wedding in January and everyone LOVED the cake. The main cake was Bavarian cheesecake with whipped icing and we also had an extra sheet cake that was yellow cake with raspberry filling and the buttercream icing. It was beautiful AND delicious. Both flavors were so so good- I can't wait for the next opportunity for eating cake because I'll definitely be using them for birthdays and parties in the future!

OMG the Bavarian cream filling is to die for. Fruit fillings were amazing as was the cream cheese. Gorgeous designs, not only for weddings, but other events and they offer chocolate fountains too. Lots of cakes on display as well as loads of photographs. They were very sensitive to our budgetary needs as well. They even recommended a great photographer! Super Delish Cakes and fillings!

Cake tasting for my daughter's wedding. Bavarian filling is epic! Fruit filling are yummy and they can make anything you can imagine. Including events besides weddings.

Tara is AMAZING! Not only did she do my wedding cake but I have used her for mulitple events since that time. I highly recommend using Bavarian Cakery . The prices are competitive for "normal" flavors but the one that I love is the Cheesecake which is the more expensive of the flavors. BUT - TOTALLY Worth it. You will never taste anything like it - They offer complimentary tastings for weddings so definitely try them out!!
