No matter where you are in Louisiana, it's worth traveling to enjoy Bayou Lagniappe's excellent boiled and seasoned crawfish. You will be pleasantly surprised like us to discover this typical dish of Cajun cuisine and to meet welcoming and helpful staff. Also try the king prawns!

You can taste the full love of a mother from the food. It is not the care about doing business, but the passion for making food for her family and children. She is not soft on the ingredients and is not afraid of the portions eaten by the guests. The ingredients are fresh and best of all. Precisely how crispy it should be, how juicy it should be, and the food is served very slowly, probably to serve every guest carefully, so although there is no luxurious decoration, it is very warm inside and is all local. Familiar people lead the way here to eat. The customer at the next table is from Long Island, New York. This is by the bridge in Industry City. I didn’t know there would be a store run with such care.

This is a One of a kind family restaurant! Family owned & operated so you get the very best service! The service and food is always consistent!! They have desserts you will not find anywhere else! Highly recommend!!!

Food was good. The waitress however was lacking something. If there are two people at a table you should bring two place settings and ask if I'd like something to drink. Either I was invisible that day or she hates men.

Wow!!! I was born and raised in Louisiana, but have been living in other places for many years. But it didn't take me long to realize how good the crawfish and shrimp were here! Seasoned very well, not enough to burn the mouth, but not bland either. A wonderful eating experience! Very friendly customer service and we never had to 'look' for them.

Great place for crawfish and shrimp when in season. Excellent service from the whole staff. Try the rotating flavors of bread pudding for dessert.

This place is fantastic! The crawfish are perfectly seasoned and spiced, that dipping sauce they give you can be used on anything seafood related. We also had the red deep-sea shrimp which were outstanding! Call ahead for the crawfish and shrimp because they do run out!

We Canadians arrived hungry after a long day driving. The place was packed. Super friendly & accommodating staff got us in with a little wait. We ate our fill of delicious crawfish and shrimp. What a fabulously delicious feast. It’s all fingers and napkins here. We loved every moment and every bite! Thanks for everything! A perfect finish to a great day!

It's always a treat to come here. I don't know much about food, and Southern seafood in particular, but I am guessing it doesn't get fresher and more authentic than this. I've been to Morgan City three times and make a point of including Bayou Lagniappe each visit.

We tried Bayou Lagniappe’s boiled crawfish for the first time last night, and let me just say that it made this cajun girl’s heart happy to be able to FINALLY eat spicy/well-seasoned crawfish and fixings in a restaurant. The crawfish came out hot so you know they were boiled to order! We typically prefer to boil our own crawfish at home. Usually no other crawfish compares to home boiled crawfish but I have to say that this made me feel like we were eating crawfish from our family member. It was that good. Service was excellent as well- Never had to ask for a refill or anything! Sandy (Owner) personally came to our table to check on us and conversate- She did that for all the tables and Showed great southern hospitality to us and our friend visiting from North Carolina. My bother and I went eat here before the Shrimp & Petroleum Festival n that's really saying something cuz the food at the festival is insane. Lol. We got shrimp n medium crabs.. The crabs were absolutely the best I've had in a long time! I got full off abt 5. They were so FULL and easy to peel! I made soup with the leftovers. I will definitely be back to eat there again!

Still good as ever! Staff is friendly and everything is served hot. You just can’t go wrong with people who know their seafood.

Best food I have ever had! My roots are Cajun and the food tasted just like my granny and papas cooking. Best fried catfish I have ever had. Best etouffee. Best boudin balls. Best biscuits. Best bread pudding. Best potato salad—literally everything you order is authentically delicious. I loved this place so much I left with a t-shirt. The staff was so accommodating. Consistent good food and service. They take pride in taking care of their customers, and it shows. My only regret is that I can’t take this restaurant home with me.

The last night of a 3 week road trip through Mississippi, Alabama and Louisiana and we ate here. It was the perfect ending to our journey. The food is awesome and the staff super friendly. The owner and her mom even came to check on us and visit. Support this little local restaurant.

We had craw fish and shrimp here last night. Was one of the better restaurant experiences we have ever had. The owners were incredibly attentive probably because I didn't know how to eat craw-fish. This is not fine dining, but the place where all the locals go for seafood. Its a small "shack" with almost no parking. Every license plate withing 100' was from LA, except ours. I had been recommended by a local gal who was cutting my hair late that afternoon. I figured she knew what she was talking about as during my haircut one of the other stylists brought in 3 huge bags of cooked craw-fish from her families craw fish establishment just down the street. They only did takeout, so told me to go here. If you like craw-fish or want to try it and you are in Morgan City, this is the spot to go. It appears reservations are expected. And it also appears that the locals make reservations with their orders in advance and they get their food just after sitting down. BTW, The Royal Red Shrimp were delicious too! (I thought they might have been better than the craw fish)

Really great food cooked fresh.

First you walk in and smell delicious food cooking. Our meal was grilled shrimp tacos...out if this world! Their bread pudding was unbelievably good, and we tried 3 flavors. Call for reservations, it was packed Friday night.

Best Boudin in all Louisiana. I say that, I can’t really know because I’m a tourist. But this place is truly an authentic local place. I am so glad we stopped.

Maybe I’ve been spoiled by boiling my own crawfish with real seasoning AND topping it off with some old bays and straight cayenne at home in MISSOURI idk but...... I was extremely disappointed to see that a Louisiana crawfish boil would use that disgusting spray to season them. Also that 20 percent gratuity on a table of 6 is insane when 2 of those people are 2&4 years old.

I got the boiled crawfish extra spicy and they were great! They were a nice size as well. The shrimp were a nice size but no seasoning at all. We got those extra spicy as well. That was a little disappointing. The king cake bread pudding is delicious!! I wish I had gotten more than 1. I'll definitely be back for more crawfish & bread pudding.

If you want a truly southern seafood experience - crabs or crawfish - then this is the PLACE! Call ahead to make sure that you can reserve your seafood and then plan on having a great experience. The service was friendly and efficient. Some of the best damn crawfish I've ever had! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone that is not from south Louisiana and is looking for a wonderful Cajun food experience :)

On our first visit, my filet was awesome, service was good. This restaurant is in the casino so dress is everything. I had to subtract a star because the Bleu cheese dressing was awful, won't order again.
