Decadent, delicious food that I’m unable to make at home. All served by fast servers that are there willingly. The Duck Wontons? Out of this world.

The food was just mediocre. I ordered a NY Strip and it was so tough and stringy the steak knife they gave me couldn’t cut through it. Their AC wasn’t working well also. It was extremely hot. A very unpleasant experience all around.

Excellent food and service! Sarah was our waitress today for father's day brunch and she was the bomb! She was informative about menu items, accommodating with our special dietary needs, and she was just plain nice! We had yummy creamy grits, delicious cinnamon bun pancakes, fresh brioche French toast, crunchy potato fingerlets, and eggs cooked to perfection. Mimosas were good. We brought home desserts...carrot cake, chocolate cake, and strawberry cheesecake. We'll be back! Update: Went back with my husband on 8/24 for my birthday celebration and we were blessed with Sarah serving us, again! She is a gem. Her genuine dopeness is authentic and consistent. She actually remembered us from our first visit and greeted us warmly. The seared scallops were tender and well-seasoned. The halibut was a little bland for my taste, but that didn't ruin the meal. Smothering it with the cream sauce that came with it made it palatable. I'll just choose from one of the many other delicious dinner options next time. Thank you, Sarah! ❤

Most of their food is great, but if you had to get one thing, don't over think it, get the bread pudding! Yes, the bread pudding!

This place is great don't get me wrong....clearly the desert is FABULOUS but I've been going here for YEARS and the food has just gone downhill a little. In ways that you really can't put your finger on....but it's just not as good as it used to be. A shame really...but still worth going to....but a tad pricey if you don't love your meal.

This place has great recommendation for date nights and if you’re also looking for a place that open late in Jacksonville, but I guess the night my friends and I went we were just unlucky that it wasn’t what we expected. But I’ll just keep it short and straight forward, the service was okay not great but not terrible either but would appreciate a check on such as “ how’s everything tasting, how are we ? , do we need anything else? , etc” but none of these were approached nor mention by our server maybe she was busy maybe she wasn’t who knows. The food I would say it’s fair, the sandwhich was mention to be a medium rare but seems to be very well done as well bland in taste even after I place a napkin which indicates I was finish and would not like to take it home the waitress asked if I wanted to take it home. Crazy if added maybe the napkin I can possibly take home but the sandwich maybe not. But dessert made up for the night though!

Here is a great spot to take your main squeeze out for late lunch or early diner. Here is my summation. We've moved here from PHX about a year or so ago. So far only a couple of restaurants we have visited have teally tripped my trigger. BB's and 1 other are my two go-to-spots to take out-of-town friends and relatives. The minute you walk in you should be greeted by a nice hostess. Pick your spot and examine the menu. Order drinks if desired, listen to the subtle background music tat is NOT loud at all. I noticed sound reading panels on the ceiling. Great long well stocked bar (great wine rack to checkout), extra clean restrooms. You can ask for their Fav 2-person table or several 4-person tables for friends. tables are number in case you like a particular spot. We order Crispy Calamari (sauce was BEST ever) & their popular Salmon salad that was huge we even shared it. We enjoyed several wines and beers (it was happy hour). on site parking was easy. We met Manager 'Mark Ferrari' and he was delightful and informative. Our waitress 'Kate C' was the best in the business, so attentive, know everything on the menu (shes' a ten year employee @ bb's). The best surprise they have an exclusive dessert menu baked locally form them only. This pace is know for their desserts: we had the order their bread pudding: it's the absolute BEST, so moist, lightly heated served with scoop of ice cream on top. It's a MUST do when your visiting for your first tie. They also own a sister restaurant 'BISCOTTI" and together they sell over 200+ orders a day. We visit their other restaurant next week, where we will work our way thru the entire list between the two restaurant. I observed everything & every detail about this place and it is TOPs in every category, (which I find very unusual). I grew up in restaurant business as my mother ran a large 2-level cafeteria type restaurant in the capital city of Kansas for 30 years. It was a block from the capitol grounds and seated several hundred. BB's seats about 75 people and is perfect for an intimate and romantic diner anytime. Go check out BB's to see if you don't a have similar experience. We will become regulars I am sure. It's' just a welcoming place you just want to hang out with friends.

Charmingly upscale! Cozy atmosphere! Friendly people! Amazing food! We met with some friends to enjoy dinner and some drinks before a comedy show nearby. The food was absolutely delicious and generous portions were provided. The waitress was kind, helpful, and attentive. We can hardly wait to go back!

Amazing desserts and espresso martinis.

First things first. Adriene is thee best server I have ever encountered in.....my......life! Top tier service, she made amazing recommendations, and she is now the creator of my new favorite drink. If you like pickle juice, make sure to get you an I'm Fancy Now. After two, I was calling them, oh you fancy huhs. Soooo good. The food was just as amazing as her service. The beef carpaccio was delicious. If you get a perfect scoop of egg yolk, beef, capers, and that Dijon sauce........ you'll be in heaven. We also ordered the duck wonton napoleon, and it had to have been one of the most beautiful plates I've seen. I didn't want to eat it for all of about 2 seconds, then devoured it. There really is no right way to attack it, so just fork straight through, slide your bite through all the sauce you can, and enjoy. The braised duck had some really solid flavors, and whatever those sauces were just made it 10 times better. I really did enjoy the almond crusted calamari as well. But the most fun I had was creating tiny flavor explosions from the cheese board we ordered. That and singing CAROLINE!. My enjoyment was herd and we ended up talking about karaokee, and how my favorite song to sing was Tennesee whiskey. Then, all of a sudden I hear...... USE TO SPEND MY NIGHTS OUT IN BAR ROOMS..... and I had no choice but to give everyone a tiny taste of my karaokee skills. That or made everyone's ears bleed. The owner over herd me and played it. That was one of theee most coolest experiences I have ever had at a restaraunt. From the owner down, this place is just amazing. 15 out of 10 recommendations from me for sure. It was the most fun I've had to date. Thank you so much, and I will be back.

Great for steak and eggs were terrific.

First of all our server was too good. She could have stood to be less perfect at least every once in a while. It's really hard to find food after 9pm in Jacksonville and this place is on point. I had the crab cake and the deconstructed won ton. Literally to die for. Our friend left his wallet after close and before he even realized our server was messaging him on Facebook to try and return it.

Small quaint place to enjoy a dinner meeting or date. Fresh food selection. Amazing drinks and cocktails.

Date night this week was at bb's restaurant and bar. We gave the overall rating an 8/10. Service was by far a 10/10. Our server was excellent and truly knew how to pace service. I even asked for a glass of petite sirah to be brought with my steak and it hit the table about 1.5 mins before entrees hit the table. Our water glasses also never went empty. Appetizers- 9/10. We enjoyed the shrimp lollipops that were loaded with flavor. We also got the stuffed mozzarella bruschetta. Was a little garlic heavy but not the end of the world since I like garlic. They also did bring around a puff cheesey bread which was great and paired well with the butter. Entrees-7/10. I got the ribeye served with crab and shrimp loaded potato with a chipotle sour cream sauce and broccolini. They did an excellent job cooking the steak to a perfect medium rare. The steak was pretty mid when it came to flavor (I added a bit of salt to assist) and was nothing special for the price tag of $52. However, that crab and shrimp potato was outstanding and the highlight of the dish. We also got the pistachio crusted pork chop which I thought had good flavor and paired well with the chutney on top. Dessert-10/10. Apparently BB’s is well known for its dessert case and I can see why. We got the cake tour and had all of the items explained to us. We got the German chocolate slice and carrot cake slice. They were outstanding. A baker drops by desserts daily. I will say the selection was great and it was so hard to choose what to get. Overall the food tasted fresh and we enjoyed our visit. We also had good cocktails here- if you are a martini drinker this is a good spot. It is a little bit smaller inside than I expected and can appear to be a little cramped with the table layout but we will be back again. Was a good little date night spot.

As a business owner myself I cant believe I have lived in jacksonville my whole life and never discovered this Gem of a restaraunt! Darius provided amazing customer service as well as the other staff, and the food is incredible. I'll for sure be a regular.

definitely one of my new favorite restaurants in jacksonville and i will definitely be back! everyone at the table was happy with their meal. i got the warm goat cheese salad and highly recommend it. all of their items on the menu seem like very good flavor combinations so im excited to come back!

One of the best lunches I've ever had. Bartender made an excellent old fashioned and the pizza was incredibly good.

This was our first visit. Me and my wife had a late lunch on a Friday around 3pm. The food & atmosphere was amazing. There was a relaxing jazzy like vibe. For us this was a great way to wind down and end the work week. The service was great. Our servers name was Kailee and she was awesome! She was very pleasant with a great sense of humor. We had a wonderful time! We’ll definitely be coming back!

Corn chowder was to die for. Excellent reasonably priced wine choices. Jambalaya pizza was a little too dry and salty too my liking. My waiter was excellent, and all staff very friendly. Place was very clean.

I had their cheeseburger and it was delicious. Juicy, flavorful and cooked just right. For $20 I had a burger, salad shared appetizer and drink. Not bad for today’s economy. Service was also good

Absolutely fantastic, classy, & elite are the best words to describe it. The bread is a piece of heaven & becomes divine when spreaded by the honey butter. The food is super delecious. The presentation makes you sing RESPECT. Sit by the window to enjoy the scene & the serenity of the place while eating. You should try their desserts, make you feel satisfied & uplifted, make sure to save a room. This place is perfect for dates and holiday celebrations. It cannot get more cozy & comfy than this. For breakfast you can go there on a daily basis. A bit pricy though, but it does worth it. I enjoyed every single bite & every single second.MOAH MOAH MOAH :))

A blast from the past but don't let that vibe fool you. The food is fantastic, deserts are impressive and if you like wine, well this place is for you. Give it a shot and you may end up being a fan as well.

A bit noisy. Dinner was exceptional. They serve popovers which are light and excellent. We had a steak sandwich and a pork chop. Both were very good. Our server, Sarah, knew details about the food and was fast and friendly. We'll ask for her on our next visit. One of the very best places to eat in Jacksonville

I have been driving by this place for many years but just never stopped. I'm so glad my son's treated me to a Father's Day brunch. I was blown away by the atmosphere and quality of the food!

This place has a good reputation, but perhaps we were unlucky with our order that night and were served by a less experienced waitress. The appetizers were excellent, but the main courses did not meet our expectations. The croutons were excessively large and hard, and the steak was not cooked to the correct doneness. During our visit, the waitress only appeared four times: to bring the drinks, take the order, serve the dishes, and deliver the check. At no point did she ask how the food was, if everything was okay, or if we needed anything else. I don't know how many tables she had to attend to, but it is crucial to ensure that the customer is satisfied with their meal. The drinks were also quite basic. The final straw was when we decided not to finish our dishes because we didn't like them. We placed paper napkins on top as a clear sign that we were done and that we really didn't enjoy the food. Despite this, the waitress asked if we needed boxes to take the food home, not realizing that we obviously weren't going to take it with us. She also didn't bother to ask if we were leaving the food because we were too full or because something was wrong with the order. It's a very beautiful place, but it didn't meet my expectations.

Best shrimp and grits I've had.

I visited BB's and everything from appetizer to dessert was a perfect 10/10. The ambiance was great, and the service was outstanding.

My wife and I started with the brussal sprouts app. They were good but be aware the serving is HUGE. The bread they served was very good. My wife had the shrimp lollipops and again thought they were good (not great), she also ordered the steak tips and wasn’t impressed. I had the bistro steak sandwich, it was very good with tender steak. Service was average and the atmosphere was loud (not good for a romantic dinner).

Came here because my wife's cousin is a server and we were in the area, ended up being in the top 5 meals I've had for what it cost. The duck wonton, smokey old fashioned, and steak sandwich were all perfect. Great music, food, and atmosphere.

Fantastic service and Excellent food

We have come for the second time in six months. We love this place ! The ambiance is exceptional. The serve staff is exceptional. The menu is exceptional. We have nothing but rave reviews. In Jacksonville, where you never have to repeat a restaurant bc there are so many to choose from, we came back to this one bc it’s just so freakin good in every instance. We will be back again!!

First visit. Small restaurant and you should get a reservation. Good happy hour specials. They have an excellent wine list. The house wine was just ok. I tried the truffle pizza and was very pleased.

Service & food were PERFECT you will not be disappointed.

This is a cool little spot. Very fresh food and nice cocktails. I had the blt fish sandwich. It was large and plenty to eat for an adult or teenager. The person at the bar next to me had the carrot cake. That piece of cake was the size of my head!

I'll tell you what: I've been going here a while, but I ordered two margaritas and food to-go and not only was everything I ordered delicious, but the manager gave me a few Parmesan pop-overs "on the house" and they were amazing. Love this place. Love the drinks. Love the food. Love the desserts. And respect the front of house.

Everything was beautiful from the food to the service . Server was Bree , who was also the bartender ! She did not let us down with the service !!! I loved the food . The only thing I don’t like is seating arrangement . We had to seated at 3 different tables for a small party , but was charged 20% gratuity on each table even the table that only had 2 kids …. It’s okay it won’t stop me from coming back . Just come in a smaller party

The food was startlingly good. I mean, super tasty. I can't rate the food high enough and the service was wonderful also. Highly recommend. We were traveling back from North Carolina and stopped in for a nice dinner on Mother's Day and we're so happy we did.

Was in Jacksonville for a conference and stopped at BBs for lunch the food was delicious. We had blackened wahoo and the wedge salad with steak. It was so good along with the service we came back a second day. Make reservations is my recommendation it gets very busy.

Exceptional place, the final price is justified. Jordan W our server was very attentive and suave. For the food we had the salmon wontons - the filling was good but the wonton itself was a little too fried. The complimentary bread was very fresh and delicious. The salad was ok. Now for the main entrees we got the chocolat demi glaze filet, which was absolutely terrific, the filet was tender and melted in my mouth, the chocolat demi had a hint of chocolate and a tang of demi, loved it. The parmesan crusted salmon i cannot speak for as I did not have it but I am sure it was also good! All in all I will definitely bookmark this place as I must return for the desert!

My 1st visit to the restaurant, Brie (like the cheese) was our server. She was very pleasant & the FOOD was splendid, my sister & I ordered shrimp lollipos, mozzarella bruschetta as appetizer (delish) for the meal I ordered fish/grits while Sister ordered the crabcake sandwich; portions are plentiful-you will not be disappointed. I didn't order dessert but I'm definitely going back.

Very nice restaurant close to our hotel. This is not a large place so make reservations prior to visit. Food and drinks were very tasty but the desserts are amazing! Definitely will be back when in the area.

we had lunch here before getting ready for a Luke combs concert and magnificent is an understatement. This is the best place in downtown Jacksonville I have ever discovered. If only it was in a better location then it would benefit even more.

I was introduced to bb's many years ago during a business trip. I'm grateful bb's has not only survived but thrived for many years. Bb's seems to be as popular as ever. My colleagues and I visited during a Thursday lunch, and the restaurant was quite busy. The atmosphere is festive, yet very comfortable and enjoyable. The service impeccable! Our server was excellent; friendly, attentive and created a perfect dining pace. Naturally, the food is exquisite! Interesting, imaginative and enticing menu. Very diverse. There is something to please everyone. My colleagues and I started with the fried green tomatoes appetizer. Probably the best fried green tomatoes ever! For my entrée, I selected the Thursday lunch special; spicy chicken quesadilla. Excellent choice! The quesadillas were delicious; served fresh and hot. Of course, dessert is a must at bb's. Checkout the dessert case displaying all the many delicious creations available. Outside dining, full service bar and limited parking available. If I could give bb's a 100 stars, I would! Too bad I don't have a bb's in St. Petersburg. In my opinion, very few restaurants can match the quality and perfection of bb's! Located in downtown Jacksonville, you simply must check it out!!

Surprisingly upscale little bistro. The food was really very good, the server was attentive and the prices weren't bad.

I went with some coworkers for an evening out. I ordered the salmon wonton, jambalaya pizza, and the peanut butter mousse cake. All three dishes were great. The pizza was my favorite. The cake was lighter than expected. The service was very good. Our waitress Kayleigh provided good recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the dessert options.

Don’t mess up the Brussels sprouts. That is the only reason I come to your restaurant. I was served very overcooked, burned Brussels sprouts. I was hungry and it had already taken long time for food to be ready that’s why I didn’t send it back. But it was terrible this time. It’s my favorite dish there. But not this time

This is my husband and I’s favorite restaurant. Kailee is a lovely waitress and very attentive. We have never gotten a dish or drink that we did not like.

Had a wonderful dinner. Wheatley was so sweet and attentive. When we didn't care for the appetizer that we order, she immediately offered a better option, and it did not disappoint. We will definitely return.

Superb huge grilled salmon salad with fresh greens $20. Reasonable. But my husband’s goat cheese salad had tired lettuce and not a lot of goat cheese. Not so great for $19. Impeccable gracious service from Kayleigh. Extensive wine list. $15 cocktails-yikes. Nice outdoor tables by the parking lot, next to gorgeous climbing sweet smelling jasmine. Inside ambiance a bit like a nice noisy cave. Dark. Few if any windows. Kitchen service counter is in the same room as the tables so loud. Comfortable seating. Easy safe parking lot. Many nice desserts look identical to Biscotti’s.

Apr 2024: Came in for brunch on a Saturday and it was semi dead. Ordered the brioche French toast and the short rib with egg. Both were fantastic.

Had Sunday brunch with my adult children while hanging out in Jax. The ambiance was great, service nice but a bit slow. Had a great time. Would definitely visit again.

Food here is excellent. Very quaint. Staff is very nice. The vibe is cool and modern. They have a large selection of homemade desserts. I didn't get any pictures but this place is absolutely worth the drive to the San Marcos area.

Came by with my 2 dogs and was able to sit outside at one of their patio tables. Decided I couldn’t successfully eat their w/ both dogs and got food to go. Rachel was nice and let us hang and have a drink while we waited. Ordered 3 apps, all very tasty (b-sprouts, shrimp lollipops , crispy crab cake) and walked out with 2 pieces of very delicious cake. Top notch across board.
