Very good very nice!!!! Highly recommend. Don't sleep on this spot it's a hidden gem. All I have to say is come here and you will not be disappointed. Everytime I come here i think to myself "why don't I come here more often". Amazing food vibes and atmosphere everything is perfect!

I don't often write reviews, but I feel like I have to for B.D.G. I've been here 4 times now eating different things on the menu each time and the food is always delicious. It's korean food but to me is flavored a bit more western/Americanized. Definitely recommend to try it out!

Relaxing vibe with an amazing bartender and large selection of Korean alcoholic beverages available

All food we ordered is made with care and packed with flavor. The budijigae’s flavor and the aesthetics; the cost is very reasonable and filling for two people. We also ordered the sweet oriental and spicy chicken wings that came with a choice of blue cheese or ranch dressing dipping sauce. The wings were sooo crispy and crunched with each bite. We also ordered the tonkatsu burger with fried eggs and it came with super crispy tater tots. Everything was delicious and went well with the peach beer ordered. We will come again! Edit: came back and tried the bulgogi burger and I was met with umami flavor. The place never fails to meet my expectations.

the owner jun is so nice, helpful, and funny! it's a great bar to socialize as well as eat and drink. i would come here every day if i could! i got the bulgogi burger and it was delicious- just a heads up if you do get it, it's not a typical 'burger' patty, it's literally bulgogi- but it's so flavorful and unique it's such a good item to try! the fried egg was so good on it... another good item is the bulgogi tacos they come with kimchi on them (so good) also the drinks are strong! i suggest getting the green apple soju (yum) TLDR; come to BDG, not just to drink and socialize, but also to try the delicious food!

Bartender was rather obviously flustered and overworked and got kind of snippy with our large group about needing more water and eventually just refused Even though we were still spending money and drinking... There also seemed to be some discrepancies on the bills that people were paying. But we were so drunk. We didn't really wanna follow up on that part in case it was just a misunderstanding.

Great ambiance, fun vibe, cool people, good selection of import beers. I started w Knob Creek but ventured to Lychee beer and it was refreshing and zesty! Bar staff were on point and friendly, thank you for the fun time! Definitely, absolutely will be back with my friends. Food was amazing for a bar, we had the Kimchee and pork belly with tofu, it was well balanced and the kimchee was not overpowering. The Miso pork belly was amazing!!! The boys bathroom is also clean and I love the Marvel them. The pride of Morton Grove all 5 stars! ❤️ 12/2/23 we had burgers and it hit the spot. You have to try it! Food here is decent but Jun is the hostess with the mostest! !

I don't usually write reviews but the owner went above and beyond serving everyone.. he is bartending, cashier, and he's even the chef. This was some of the best Korean barbecue food I've had in a long time and it is worth driving from Wisconsin. Amazing atmosphere and an amazing owner!

i would like to give 0 stars if possible. their service was really bad the way he treated their customers, wasnt very nice all together. we didnt enjoy our time there, we wont be coming here again

I got the tteotbokki and kimchi jjigae. This was my first time having Korean food and it was soo delicious and flavorful. I asked it to be made spicier and they were really nice about adding more chili jam. I’ll definitely eat here again.

Every visit I've had to B.D.G has never failed me on having great food, service, drinks and great company. The awesome staff and diverse crowd provide one of the most friendliest and welcoming atmospheres I've ever experienced and is my favorite place to bring all my out of town guests, friends , family or just myself for a good time. In a Nutshell BDG is truly what I can call "My Go To Spot" thank you.

June is a Gem and the food is amazing. Everything is homemade and they take the time to explain every item to you. Really makes it hard to decide what to get, so numerous visits are definitely needed to experience all the flavors BDG has to offer. Prices are fantastic and patrons are friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to friends.

The atmosphere is a great setting for Korean pub. It’s dark, no frills, great drinks, great food. I would’ve given that fifth star, but I felt the tofu kimchi and pork belly dish was a little too sweet. The odeng tang and bulging I tots were fantastic! Joon, the owner, is a great time and a fabulous facilitator of your drinking needs! Highly recommend if you are looking for a low key evening with friends over some great food and bountiful soju options!

Oh my god. June, is not the best, he is brilliant. If I wont be married, I will marry him. Korean lounge, just like the other world, atleast for me. Athmosphere that Mr. June created is brilliant. People that I've met in the bar are also brilliant, you know why? -one of the customer shared food that he was having I did not ask for, just asked what was it, since I've never try it before. Telling you, if you want to get out for some different experience, this is just what you need. Hamburgers, awesome. Mr. June, shots were just perfect ;)

I've been coming here since the Moraeshigae days in Chicago, to Saboo, to BDG and I don't know how it's possible but the classic food tastes consistently the same and is still amazing (ddukbokki, tong dak). Everything we had was delicious (dubu kimchi, squid and pork bokkeum, pork loaded tots). Joon is so welcoming and takes such good care of his guests. Thanks BDG!

Growing up, in the area, I often passed by BDG with my family and was very curious about it. Years later, my friend introduced me to this place. I have been coming here since and also have introduced this place to friends. Jun, Jin and many of the other staff have been amazing, and they are so talented and so kind! One of my favorite and go to places! The food is beyond compare too! The people there are very friendly too!

Staff super awesome but super busy. So service was a tad slow. But the employees was working there butts off so I am not complaining. And the bartender was a great drink maker.

Always a good time and the food is yummy and the drinks are good- Jun (the owner) made a fresh watermelon and tequila drink for me. He likes to play around with drinks, which is always fun! Got the spicy pork belly kimchi tofu and purple rice, which was yummy!

Having slept on this hidden oasis, me and the crew have become regulars. Angry. Asian. Wings. The way Jun describes his cooking method the first time you order them, your pants will moisten while you listen to the process of perfection. Tots topped with bulgogi and kim chi? Totally. Get the gizzards too. Throw in a few bottles of soju while you’re at it. And marvel at the bathrooms, for real.

I had a great experience dining alone. My server a fellow Filipino was very kind and talking to me to make sure everything was alright when someone who was very drunk came to my table. The server assured me and left me with a good safe all around pleasant experience. I dont come often but I was greeted by June with a genuine warm smile. Always nice to see how popping it is here. Very fun place and great tasty food. 10/10

The owner and the staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. Shoutout to Jun and Franz! We ordered a pitcher of the strawberry soju. It was a lovely surprise that it was a slushy cocktail. It was delicious! My friends came after eating dinner, so we didn't order any food except the appetizer plate. I will definitely be coming back to try the food!

It was our first time visiting. All food was great and the customer service was excellent!. Not only our waiter attentive but also owner/chef came to our table to explain food. And as bonus, if you are spicy junky like me, I would definately order their Angry wings and spicy ttokbokgi(rice cake) extra spicy. 😋

The owner is a nice guy and he cooks delicious food. Bulgogi tacos are good along with everything else ive tried on the menu. Reasonably priced drinks and liquor.

We noticed this sports bar that had a high rating and stopped by on our way home from golf. While we didn’t know what to expect, wow were we in for an amazing surprise! Jun is the owner and he is quite a character. They had great drinks and Jun kept it flowing. Then, we decided to try their food and it was beyond belief. May be some of the best Korean wings I’ve ever had along with some of the other dishes we tried. 10/10 on all fronts. I will definitely be coming back!

This is that kind of place one would go to decompress and just get out of the house at night. Highly recommend the spicy tteokkbokki with peach soju. Jun, the owner, is personable, intelligent, Jack of all trades. He’s a fascinating individual to get to know. The place is really chill, patrons around the bar are usually down for conversations. Rest of the staff is pretty cool too.

Nestled in the Talisman Shopping Center with a simple entrance is a door that transports you to a sports bar with some amazing umami packed dishes. It’s actually a gastropub… but don’t let that scare you sports fans…there’s multiple TVs. June greeted us and we quickly felt like we had been visiting this establishment for years…this was our first visit. We started with Beef Mandoo, an airy flavorful beef fried dumpling served with a lite spicy soy dipping sauce. O-Deng Tuk Bok EE - described as spicy rice cakes and fishcakes. What arrived looked more like a stew. Delectable!!! The rice cakes are more like dumplings accompanied by fish cakes of all shapes, all of which is smothered in a homemade chili sauce. Smash one of the eggs that comes with it to lessen the bite of the chili. I was loving the sauce so June recommended a side of rice. Not plain white rice…no no no…this is a custom blend of various grains. Bulgogi Burger -wow! A flavorful moist mound of bulgogi beef topped with lettuce, tomato and cheddar cheese…we also added bacon. This is a formidable burger! A fabulous end to an evening!

Ok, so long story short, I spontaneously ended up here on a random weekday night... So I come in hungry and thirsty, mind you I just had my wisdom teeth taken out about 4 days earlier. I didn't know what to expect, but they were very careful during the pandemic, which was appreciative. They checked our temperature and disinfected us all before entering. Side note, they are very clean and from what I've observed, have been disinfecting pretty frequently. So for those who are particular, I believe they've been pretty responsible during these unfortunate times. I was pretty impressed with the ambiance of this place in compared to other bars in the area. It's actually fairly nice inside and has some personality. So with it being a weekday night, there was only a few other people there. We get seated, and immediately get greeted by one of the owners, June, I believe. Let me tell you now, he's quite the character! He's just a ball of energy! He was fun and very welcoming. Okay we're ready for food and drinks at this point. I'm hungry, starving even. We asked for food recommendations and anything soft due to my situation. He gave us maybe 10 recommendations in the matter of a minute, but we end up getting the korean pancakes and another dish I can't remember the name of. He was so nice and assured me that my poor mouth and I cant go wrong with what we ordered. Everything came out great! Food was delicious, company was great, and June was a wonderful host. We end up staying for a bit and after a few bottles of soju we had to run. If I'm ever in the area again, I would definitely look for a reason to stop by.

I have come here to dine many times over several years. The food always has been and still is amazing. Wonderful portion sizes and the owner Jun is always super friendly every time I have been in. Super laid back atmosphere. I dream about their kimchi pancake from time to time. 10/10 would recommend!

Amazing food and great service. If anyone is ever worried about eating out during this pandemic, know that this owner is thorough to make sure everyone is safe. Upon entering, the owner checks your temperature and lightly sprays safe disinfectant to ensure safety among customers. They are very knowledgeable on how food is prepared and served and the drinks are amazing! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

A very interesting little surprise, this place ended up being. The owner, Jun, made it a point to come and chat with us for a spell. He was friendly and quite a character. Definitely try the loaded tater tots. I love kimchee but never would have thought to combine them with tots like this. A perfect late night snack after a couple of libations!

Ok let me begin. Walked in expecting an regular American sports bar to watch the Cubs Sox game. The owner Jun drew us in like a magnet. His energy would be enough for a return visit for the bar atmosphere alone. The food was omg. Perfect. I’m not from the area so I can’t wait to return and bring others.

This spot is great! The food is excellent! Mostly Korean fusion food. They have a full bar with beer and hard liquor. The chicken wings are amazing. There is also a Korean style fried chicken dish (tong dak) which was amazing. The chicken was very juicy and flavorful. The Angry Asian wings were very spicy, but they were amazing. Made me break into a serious sweat, but I'd recommend it if you like spicy flavorful food. The garlic wings were also great. The wings taste fresh and juicy. The atmosphere of this spot is very relaxed and chill. This is definitely a hidden gem. They have a beer pong table set up as well which is a great time. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They strike up conversations and made excellent recommendations on the food menu. I will definitely be returning to this spot and would recommend others to make a visit as well. The food is definitely worth the trip.

The Korean beef tacos were great. There are huge portions. The chef visited the table and told us about his philosphy. They have Korean bottled beers and mixed specialty drinks. I can't wait to go back and try the burgers and the load tater tots.
