Just popped into this place. I’m all about off the beaten path… welcomed as soon as I walked inside. Very hospitable and service great. Ribs/sausage wonderful!!! Will definitely bring friends next time

Real TX BBQ. excellent, I live in Florida, was driving from Marshall to Longview on Hwy 80 and happened to see the sign and turned down a county road out of curiosity. Beat kept secret - even for the locals. Worth the drive from Orlando.

Absolutely amazing mom and pop spot. This is what Texas BBQ is all about. Brisket was to die for as well as everything else. Donny and Lili provided amazing friendly service. This is good ole American food!!!

I was visiting TX looking for good BBQ and this place lives up to their name. It’s the best I’ve had in East Texas. The service was incredible and the food was the best BBQ I’ve had. The brisket, pulled pork, and pepper jack sausage were incredible. The sauce was outstanding. The potato salad and beans were also very good. Save room for the pecan pie or the Italian cream pie (or both!).

You’re gonna pull up and go “Is this the right place?” If you want maybe the best you’ve ever put in your face, then this is DEFINITELY the place. Stopped on a road trip and had the best experience. The owner(I’m assuming he was the owner. You could tell he took pride in what he does) was super cool. Explaining all the cuts they had to two obviously travelled dudes looking to crush some bbq. I had the “Bum.” With CARAWFISH Sausauge and brisket. My brother had the beef rib. Both were beyond delicious. I will stop here from now until the end of time if I’m this way from KY. Why are you still reading? Go get this bbq!!

Lived up to the name! Beef ribs were phenomenal, beans and potato salad were excellent!!! Needing a nap when I left was the only downfall!!!!

I cannot give this place high enough praise! The brisket is lean tender and delicious. The pulled pork is also excellent. So are the ribs, sausage, potato salad, and Texas toast... It's all delicious! Portion sizes are excellent. You won't go away hungry! Environment is a classic Texas BBQ joint which we love! The best part though was Donnie, the owner, who went above and beyond the call of duty by helping my daughter find her retainer which she had accidentally thrown in the trash. He was so friendly and kind and clearly he knows all the locals by name. Thanks Donnie!!!

Absolutely fantastic!! The sweetest people ever, and the food was amazing!

My husband and I found this place on our way home from vacation and we could not have asked for a better note to end it on! We chose the restaurant based on reviews and we were NOT disappointed! Doni fixed us up with a sampler plate and every bite was delicious! The brisket melted in our mouths, the pork ribs were perfectly cooked, and both types of sausage, including the alligator, were great too! My husband said the pinto beans were the best he's ever had! Marianne's key lime pie was pure perfection as well - not too tart, not too sweet! All her other homemade desserts looked so tempting it was difficult to choose just one! The leftovers fed us two more times and the meat was tender and juicy even after being reheated in the microwave. My only regret was that we didn't have an ice chest so we could bring more of it home! As good as the food was, the whole experience was made even better by the wonderful time we spent visiting with Doni and Marianne. They were both so warm and friendly and they shared many fascinating stories about their lives and time in the entertainment and restaurant businesses. Great food, great conversation, and the great "been there forever-stepping back in time ambiance" they have created-who can ask for anything else?? Make it a point to stop by as many times as you can. It will be time and calories well spent! I have a feeling you will never be disappointed. And bring an ice chest! PS-this place should be named the Best of the US Barbque Smokehouse and not just Texas-no other barbque place rivals this one!

This is the absolute best bar-b-q you will find. Plus they have a stage outside for live music. Owner Doni Simmons will blow you away inside with great food and hosptality and singing on stage. You absolutely need to try it.

Finding a place like this is why people take road-trips! Some of the best bbq ever. The brisket is absolutely delicious. We tried both varieties. The pulled pork was tender and wonderful. The ribs were perfect. Don and his wife are gracious hosts. Save room for pie! The homemade lemon was worth it.

Just when you thought you had tasted the best...... Bam! They got the right name for sure. Awesome when you can actually eat the meat with out sauce! It will melt n your mouth n make you slap yo mamma!

Best food and customer service around.

If you like moist BBQ, wonderful flavor, then try this place. Small place. Great for a first date or couples night out. Staff is awesome. Highly recommended.

Down the dirt road to the wood building with a tin roof with rustic, country charm. Serving bbq, alligator sausage, simple potato salad, crisp coleslaw with delicious desserts and more at very reasonable prices. Stop in and say hi to Donnie and have him fix you up a plate!

If you rate anything lower than a 5 then you have a terrible problem. We drove 10 miles out of our way to try this bbq and we were not disappointed. The brisket was the best we ever had. Good family atmosphere. Everything was wonderful. This is a must visit.

I just went for the first time today and my mind was blown! They have BEEF RIBS! Their brisket melts in your mouth, the sausage is great, the pork ribs are awesome, the chili rocks, the coleslaw is the best I've ever had, and the pie is nuts! I'm hooked.

Amazing barbecue made with love and care. Just try the brisket, as a plate, on a sandwich, with some sausage. Just eat it. You’ll experience something incredible! The staff is very friendly as well and willing to explain what is available in detail.
