Very good breakfast and fast service!

Don’t even bother. Very rude workers below average food. They seem not to like outsiders in there restaurant.

Food was good the last few times I stopped not the best breakfast in the world but a good "something different" to get every now and then. Decided I'd stop by at 115pm on a Friday for lunch since their hours say they're open till 2pm and they would be closed the next few days. When I walked in as people were leaving the restaurant and said "I think they're closing" so I asked the waitresses if they were still opened to which they said "were closing" I said online your hours say you're open till 2 are those hours wrong?" They told me those hours are correct... I could understand starting to close up 10-15 minutes before closing but 45 minutes early for diner food is a bit ridiculous. Wasted 30 minutes driving there for them to be closed. Will not be back!

Just love being able to get breakfast anytime. I had breakfast and my friend had the club sandwich it looked fantastic!

I was on my way to free the four when i made a quick pit stop at Big D diner. I wanted just a little snack and the Big D diner just filled me up big time. my amgio gerry and Giezepe also enjoyed the diner. i also had a kind worker named Sam Cavanagh talk to me about the Jesuit order. i want to thank everyone for the very kind staff and also standing with me to free the four. and that it was a STL city power play.

It's the only place in the area. They don't have to be good but they are! Eggs are always cooked perfectly. Omelets are full of fresh vegys, not grilled or greasy.

Will definitely visit again if traveling near there again.

Eggs over cooked. Bacon was gross. Coffee tasted like 2 day old, warmed in microwave.

Great breakfast and burgers. Staff is nice and food is well cooked with large portions. Friendly reminder this place is CASH ONLY, I had to run to the ATM at the gas station next door. *Edit* I don't bother trying to come here anymore because half the time they close early or don't open at all. Not worth the disappointment. Call ahead to make sure they will actually be open during their posted business hours

My husband and I stopped at Big D's for breakfast before our roadtrip a couple days ago. It was our first time there and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious!! We will definitely make it a point to return when we are in Pickford again. The staff was kind as well.

Fantastic diner food and friendly staff. I have eaten a lot of diner breakfast but they did it really well here. I especially liked their hash browns and toast. Reasonable prices and lots of good specials. The building was nicely updated and clean.

Stop there for breakfast. I really nice little restaurant. They give you big portions that I had to take half of mine home. Will stop there if I'm ever in the neighborhood again.

Friendly place to go with great food and people

The food here is excellent. It’s on the main drag in Pickford and easy to find. Their only downside is that they take cash only. There is a gas station right next door with an atm machine, but I rarely carry cash.

Not from around here and stopped in for some breakfast while camping near the diner. It was honestly the BEST breakfast. I ordered the farmers omelette with a scoop of sausage gravy and it was absolutely amazing!! The service was great, everyone was super friendly! Great experience, fantastic food, we will definitely stop in here every time we visit the U.P!

Had breakfast here. It tasted great and the portions were generous. I skipped lunch after eating all of the "Mess".

Excellent Omelets & Hash browns. I had the German Omelet and it was delicious. It's a little out of the way heading towards Sault Ste. Marie, but well worth it Prices are not bad at all for the amount of food you get.

Awesome place to grab a bite while in Pickford. All the food we got was very good and the staff was very friendly. The fish options and the burger both stood out to our group.

Hash browns had their crispy on!

We visit Big D's whenever visiting the U P. Good had always been consistently more than one needs to have. Today I enjoyed the Big D's breakfast special, 2 eggs, sausage links, hash browns and toast. All of it was just right. Hash browns were crispy, eggs were just how I like them, over hard. Service was wonderful. Definitely the place to eat if you're are in Pickford.

Good portions, can never eat it all. Gig D does all the cooking, so the food is always consistent. Friendly atmosphere, wait staff are pleasant and efficient. You will love Big D's.

Absolutely delightful lunch. Burgers are perfect, large and juicy. Lunches even had colorful presentations, very unexpected. Wait staff is amazing and very responsive to customers.

First time eating at Big D's and couldn't be more pleased! Super fluffy omelets done to perfection! The best waitress that we've seen in years-truly-my apologies for not getting a name but she has some quick and long legs!! We would highly recommend D's!!!
