We've been buying their sans rival for years. Great products every time. They've mastered the art of presentation and fantastic flavors. We live in Thousand Oaks but we drive to pick up because it's that good. Truly unrivaled Filipino pastry.

I've been here a few times and each visit, the cakes gets better and better! Just as a note, do not eat this straight from the fridge (cold). Trust me on this!

Best Sans Rival Cake we’ve ever had! Many flavors to choose from including Pistachio, chocolate, strawberry, ube, mango, matcha, cashew, “birthday cake” etc. Currently it’s just a pick-up counter located in a non-descript building (May 2024). But for an LA Foodie, this is hidden treasure.

Delicious. I took a shot hiking out here from Studio City, and it was totally worth it. I wanted to surprise my wife with an Ube goodie. She loves Ube, and she loves brownies... so I picked up a simple sheet of the Ube Bar. They're so good. It comes with 36 pieces... I'm resisting going back into the fridge right now to grab another 4... I must resist.

The best Sans Rival I've ever tasted. Tried the pistachio and ube - both excellent, not overly sweet like others I've had. If you're staying away from nuts due to medical or other reasons, the Ube is the best. Really creamy with the hint of ube. I'll try Mango next time.

The pistachio sans rival is amazing! We just have to order it for almost every occasion--birthdays, holidays, my-week-sucked-i-need-comfort-food, you name it. It's also at the top of the list of foods my sister has to have, every time she comes for a visit (there's just no equivalent to the Sweet Escape goodies in the East Coast). Also, love the overload bars--mini bursts of joy in your mouth! You really won't go wrong with anything on their menu. Plus, the people who make the goodies are great, helpful, and just all-around pleasant to interact with.

Yummy cakes!… I love that they’re open with your personal design choice! This one was for my daughter’s 6th birthday; the flavor was Birthday Cake and they used LOL colored sprinkles. We loooved it!

I have to say, trying out Sweet Escape’s Pistachio Sans Rival changed my whole perspective on sans rival and pistachios! Who’d think that something that amazing was even possible? This is one treat that’s certainly lacking here in the East Coast. The Pistachio Sans Rival is definitely a unique twist on the traditional sans rival. The cake’s texture and the pistachios’ generous flavor is one harmonious marriage perfected only by Bless’ Sweet Escape. So of course, once I got to visit their shop, I indulged on their Ube Bars, Food for the Gods, and oh-so-many treats. I guarantee your friends and family will insist upon them! This is one shop you cannot miss in the LA area. Heck there’s even a high demand here in the East Coast! Huge love! I can’t wait to try their CashewBe (Cashews + Ube) cake for the Holidays!

I have taken Sweet Escape Cakes to parties, potlucks, and special events and always received the greatest compliments. The Sans rival cake was gone by the end of any parties. We never had a cake be finished up that quick. Their cakes are among the best in town, and if you haven't tried the original pistachio, you should. Everything here is fresh and made with love! Hands down yummy!

Can't decide what to get? I suggest getting a box of the Overload Bars for a sampling of the best Filipino dessert bars! Ube, caramel, Food for the Gods, and chocolate - what more could you ask for? Moist, bite-size portions with just the right amount of sweetness. Preorder and indulge yourself! Totally worth it.
