Small but cute place serving simple and tasty Italian food. Lots of daily specials and very friendly staff. BYOB is excellent and makes it a reasonably priced dinner. I would suggest reservations since it’s tiny. Maybe 8 tables all together.

A Hidden Gem you can never go wrong

The food was spectacular the service was great. I forgot to take any pictures because from the Bruschetta brought out I was ready and waiting to devour whatever came out next. I can’t recommend this place any more. For being an old station, you can barely hear the train. Would recommend getting a reservation, as the place is rather small.

The quality of the food is top-notch. It’s not too salty, and there aren’t too many spices—just the right amount. The bread served at the beginning was crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. I loved eating it with the sauce from my main dish. It’s a small but cozy restaurant. However, the service could be better. My appetizer did not come out on time because the server forgot about it.

Good service, cool atmosphere, great food!

This is a wonderful small business with excellent food! I recommend the lobster ravioli with vodka sauce, but everything is delicious. BYOB, so don't forget your favorite wine. They also do take out which is good if they are full and you really want great Italian food!

Went to Bocelli with a party of 11. The food was excellent and service outstanding. They provide some complimentary apps. Only drawback is that the place is very small and we felt a little cramped. But otherwise will definitely return

After a disappointing attempt to have an anniversary dinner at another establishment we called Bocelli last minute and were able to get a table for 2 at 7:30. The experience was outstanding from the greeting at the door, to the bruschetta appetizer, homemade limoncello, excellent pasta main course and wonderful cheesecake. We couldn't have been happier with how things turned out. Truly can't recommend them more highly. Thanks so much for a wonderful dining experience.

prefer the Doylestown location where service was excellent

I got takeout from this place last night and ordered the meat lasagna and it was so bad, I took 2 bites and had to throw it out. It was extremely bland and tasted old and sour. For an $28 dish I would have expected more, I’ve never thrown out a takeout dish before to the point where it was inedible. Additionally, they did not include bread within the takeout order. As I know this place has rave reviews, maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but I was extremely disappointed.

Food was excellent as was the service. Didn't know until we got the check that if you paid cash you got a 10% discount. They should have an ATM machine in there to help people to pay and tip in cash. Also shoukd be very clearly posted. All else was wonderful

This beautiful, cozy Italian restaurant offers outstanding food and service. Everything on the menu is delicious. The frutta di mare is especially good! And don't forget to have a cup of their wonderful espresso to finish your meal.

Great little place! I loved the vibe of this train platform station turned Italian restaurant. Everything was so rich and carefully prepared. Shout-out to the clams in particular, they were like mini dinner plates stuffed with complex flavors.

Overbooked due to a birthday party upstairs. Had to turn some parties away that stated they had reservations. Owner walked around to tables to verify reservations, making things uncomfortable. Overall, food very good service good atmosphere ok. Place is small so everything is happening right next to you.

Upon arrival, our reservation was honored and our table was waiting. Welcoming staff. Nice menu. Good specials. Enjoyable experience. Food served hot and fresh... Unique setting, but tiny space...

Excellent authentic Italian food. You can tell everything was freshly made with care. This is my new favorite Italian place. Only issue is it's a rather small space, we were lucky to get in without a reservation. However they were very accommodating and we had a wonderful meal. Great place! Make a reservation

Super friendly staff and very hardworking. Limoncello was lovely and on the house, as were the bruschetta and savory crepes. Food was flavorful and extraordinary.

First time visit. Restaurant was small but clean and cute. My friends and I had a wonderful experience .The staff were great and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious with generous portions. Many specials along with a variety to choose from the everyday menu. Will definitely come back with my family.

Lobster ravioli - oh yeah! If you ever have the chance to get the filet mignon with parmesan cream sauce that they occasionally have as a special, don't pass it up...ever.

Delicious Italian food. We have never had a bad meal there. Waitress was fantastic and very pleasant considering she was the only waitress for awhile. Can't wait to go back.

Very much enjoyed the veal marsala. One of the best I have ever had. Love the quaint old revitalized space!

My wife and I decided to dine at this place after reading all the great reviews. The restaurant is small but unique. We loved the atmosphere and the service was very good. The owner worked right along with the two young servers. Complimentary bruschetta and two small crepes filled with ricotta cheese. Very good. I ordered the special, Sea Bass. I asked for it over angel hair pasta instead of vegetables. They did not have angel hair pasta but they did have regular pasta. My wife had the lobster ravioli. For some odd reason one was not filled with anything. Had the Limoncello cake for dessert. Very good. Don’t know if we will go back. For some reason we were not “Wowed “ by the food. Maybe all those five star reviews set the bar too high.

Very nice place. Two young lady’s working there are awesome, busting their tails with two parties going on. A few nice add ons, food took a while which is expected with that many people which isn’t typical for a mid day the one waitress said. The only reason I docked it a star is because the lasagna didn’t have ricotta in it which is almost unheard of as it’s a main ingredient in lasagna for many many decades. As an Italian, I was dumbfounded over this. 😊 But overall a very good experience, nice people and a very cool place right at the train station.

Sensational, gourmet-quality meals coming out of a tiny, unsuspecting little restaurant set at an active train station. A wonderfully unique atmosphere and familial experience, but priced in an attainable manner so that everyone can have an opportunity to enjoy it. We had an absolutely wonderful time and of course an insanely delicious meal... 5 stars isn't enough!!! Be sure to call ahead though if you can!

We are a group of friends who meet frequently for dinner in this area. Bocelli is one of our favorites, good food, great taste and friendly service. Their specials are varied and savory.

There is no such thing as a bad meal at this place. Everything is right about it, every time . Atmosphere, food, dessert, right down to the complimentary limoncello. The best veal parmigiana I’ve ever had.

Went to Bocelli’s for our anniversary dinner. It was delicious! felt like I was in Italy with the amazing food. Bruschetta, pasta, and lemoncello cake! A nice intimate atmosphere and a great experience. Can’t wait to come back!

This was one of the best restaurant experiences I had in a while. Everything was delicious, fresh, and authentic. Portions were filling. Staff was inviting and fun. The sweetest! We had the pleasure of dining in on a Saturday night right up against a window with views of the rail line. Gracious hosts, friendly waitstaff and food that you’ll tell everyone about! Don’t skip dessert. Truly a wonderful dining experience!

We stop here on a whim. Make reservations we were very lucky. We were seated immediately by our wonderful host, our bread was warm and fresh. BYOB. We had appetizers that were absolutely delicious raw filet mignon with baby greens and creamy asiago cheese, pastina soup and a ceasar salad . My chicken Francais with capers, broccoli, green squash and potatoes augratin were the best I have ever had. The lobster ravioli was also delicious as was the carbonara. We we then treated to complementary shots of limoncello homemade they were fantastic. We ordered dessert I had tiramisu with was spot on and also got to try the carrot cake. We topped it all off with cappuccinos. By far one of the best meals I have eaten. I highly recommend this place, but do make reservations as it is in an old train station building which makes it quite unique.

I don't frequently review places after only one visit. The meal here was so perfect I had to. The ambiance is cozy, the staff is attentive, service was prompt. All the food that hit the table was fresh and delicious, appetizers, main course, and dessert all home made. The homemade limoncello was the icing on the cake.

The food was great and the service was excellent. It's a neat old train station building, but even at the tail end of rush hour, the trains were not a distraction.

Bocelli is timeless. Incredibly consistent and delicious year after year. You owe it to yourself to eat here regularly at this fantastic BYOB.

It is truly my wife and I's go to date night restaurant. Absolute perfection when it comes to service, ambiance, amd quality. Set in a beautifully done old train stop along a back road in Gwynedd Valley. Always consistent, always fresh, and always and amazing time. This small, quaint, Italian restaurant will never let you down!!! Joe and his team are the best!!! On top all that they do NOT OVERCHARGE!!!! You will never be disappointed!!

Very good food. I was there for a company event and found the inside décor to be of a quaint rustic Italian style dining. The establishment is located next to a train station and our group came on a Friday afternoon for lunch. The occansional noise of a bellowing train can be of a nuisance if you are sensitive to noise but it is not that noticeable if you are in good company. It is a BYOB establishment and the owner comes to the table to help serve the bottle, this service might had been exclusive to our event but there will probably be servers to provide this service during normal business operations. The restaurant bakes their own bread and is still warm when served. Nothing much needs to be said there other than it was a warm fresh carbo-delight. We started off with Lobster Ravioli appetizer to share and was lead to believe that it would be fresh lobsters but sadly to find out that it was frozen. Nevertheless, it was still lobster and a very decadent start to our meals. I ordered the Pesto con Gamberi, which was very well prepared. The shrimps were medium size not large but was nicely cooked, the sauce was very well executed along with the al dente linguine pasta. It was quite enjoyable. The deserts looked great but I dared not indulge in the sweetness of the Crème Brûlée, nor the caffeine filled cream of the Tiramisu or the richness of the Oreo Cheesecake. I gravitated towards the Nespresso shot which hit the spot for an afternoon pick me up. The banquet ended with the owner serving up shots of limoncello which was a nice end to an excellent meal. The fifth star would had been awarded had the Lobster Ravioli been freshly prepared but overall it was a great experience and I very much would recommend you treat yourself to this charming Italian restaurant soon! Bon appétit!

A hidden BYOB gem at the Gwynedd Valley train station Bocelli is the best Italian restaurant in Montgomery county and maybe the best in the Philadelphia suburbs. Do not pass up the antipastas, which set the tone for an excellent experience. The three of us shared the raw filet mignon, the grilled calamari and shrimp and one of the daily specials. We all agreed that we could just eat appetizers; they were that good. I had veal Marcella, one son had veal parmegiano, and the second ordered chicken (pollo Francese). After the wonderful experience we had with the first course, this son was convinced that he had ordered poorly, saying, “I could do better than chicken.” His concerns were silenced by the arrival of the food and the only comment I received thereafter was, “How come we don’t go here more often?” Actually, it’s an excellent question and probably involves the fact that this is not a drop-in restaurant. It’s in a small train station, with limited seating. Reservations are essential. The entrees are all under $30 and the appetizers are priced in the mid-teens range, so you get a three-course meal for about $50 per person including tip. Bocelli provides a free after-dinner drink, but the wine is on you to bring. It is interesting that some of the best restaurants are BYOBs. They can’t make money on wine so have to concentrate on serving excellent food. Bocelli is a poster child for this statement. I don’t understand the four stars rating from others, as this is clearly a five-star experience.

I feel like I am giving out 5 stars alot, however the service and food here is amazing. Been here about 6 times and left full, satisfied and delighted each time.

This is hands down the best Italian restaurant and one of ourFavorite restaurants is a hidden gem in lower Gwynedd! The last time we were they had this amazing seafood bisque soup. We told the owner how amazing it was, and he surprised us by bringing out an extra soup to go! They truly treat you like family here. We would highly recommend coming!

This tiny Italian restaurant is big on flavor, and service!

Very nice Italian style restaurant. Located in Doylestown's centre which is one the loveliest towns you'll ever find in PA. Like most of the restaurants in the area is a BYOB. The menu offers a nice variety of Italian dishes. From risotto to pasta I'm sure you'll find your favourite. The dining area is not huge but its comfortable enough to enjoy your meal.

Excellent Regional Italian food, great specials fresh ingredients, try it you will love it.
