Today was my first experience here. I got the relax spa package and added on the haircut and brow. I'm awful with names... but everyone that worked on me, was absolutely amazing. The place was clean and just welcoming. The prices are really fair as well. I definitely recommend and will be returning. Thank you ladies for an amazing day of relaxation.

My first visit. Had a massage by Ashley. It was exceptional. Went from tense to a blob with no energy. Then a deluxe pedicure with, I believe Mora?, that was just as nice. Would have given 5 stars but there was a male client for foot massage who was loud and when he bent over his big butt was in my face. Maybe if the chairs were further apart? Or maybe if he was more aware of his surroundings? The sensory overload was too much with his presence. Other than him being loud it was a wonderful experience. I will be back.

The staff here are absolutely phenomenal! All the ladies from the front desk, to the cafe, to the stylists are amazing! Diana is THE BEST!! My daughters and I adore her and are happy to have found a go-to salon/hairstylist. Diana is super sweet, patient, and understanding. She is extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly the colors I was going for. The feedback she provided was able to best determine the most flattering cuts and colors while still giving us the styles we each envisioned. We left the salon feeling fabulous and IN LOVE with all of our haircuts. Thanks Diana!! Would highly recommend and will definitely only book our hair here for now on.

This establishment is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The cafe has wonderful food and drink beverages and coffee, I highly recommend this place.

I booked a full spa package, including a facial, massage, mani/pedi and a hairwash/blowout. I had a fantastic experience with the facial specialist, masseuse, and nail technician. A drink was included with my package, and the barista made a delicious iced coffee. I believe it was their house special. I highly recommend it, it was so delicious. The customer service and my interactions with these women were truly top tier. However, for my hair wash and blowout, I found it to be incredibly subpar and I was unhappy with the service. The hair wash did not feel thorough, my scalp felt brutalized by the stylist, and there were comments made about my hair and eyebrows that I found to be rude. I would not recommend this service to anyone. While every other aspect of my spa package surpassed my expectations, the hair treatment left a sour taste in my mouth. Without that, I would have left a 5 star. Again, everyone else was fabulous.

Amazing massage! I decided last minute to treat myself to a birthday massage and the team at Body Shoppe and Spa were able to move some things around and fit me in at the time I requested (same day!). Ashley did an outstanding job and worked extra on my back that had been knotted up for months. My body felt great afterwards. The atmosphere there is perfect, allowing folks to truly feel relaxed. I’ll be going back regularly. Oh and the cupcake from the cafe was pretty delicious too!

Went to Body Shoppe for the first time yesterday for a massage and facial, it was such a great experience. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and professional. Both my massage and facial were so relaxing, and the rooms were quiet, I could only sometimes faintly hear someone as they were walking down the hall. I will definitely be returning to Body Shoppe for any future massage, facials or any of the other services they offer! Also bonus, they have an entire cafe attached to the spa, with coffee and food, it smelt amazing when walking past it.

This was my first time here and it was AMAZING. Everyone was so nice. My husband booked me a package with multiple back to back services. I left there feeling so refreshed and relaxed. The smoothie was really good too! Massage, facial, mani, pedi, & haircut

Bradie is an absolute GEM highly recommend her for mani-pedi! 10/10 will be coming back to see her again! Candy is extremely personable and works wonders with layers!

This is a one shoppe stop! Hair, makeup, massage, brows, mani, pedi and last but not least...food! Relax and grab a coffee or juice after a massage. I found myself going back later in the week enjoying the cafe and doing some work. BTW Check out Merle, she is an awesome massage therapist!

She educated me about my skin and the products she used were amazing, my skin has never felt so great! I left feeling so relaxed and cannot wait for my next facial appointment with Justice! 10/10

If you’re looking for natural looking eyebrow/eyeliner enhancements she’s the one to go to. Hair, nail, and tanning services available. Delicious coffee and snack bar (the chicken salad is worth the visit!)

My husband got me a spa day for Christmas and I received a facial from Justice. The facial was very relaxing and the products she used were gentle and smelled amazing. The dimly lit room and subtle music were the perfect combination for relaxing. I became so relaxed that I literally snored myself awake. I also received a sugar scrub and oh my goodness another amazing job. I will definitely be back and Justice will be my esthetician. Thank you Justice for a perfect spa day.

I can’t review based on their massages so I am leaving a review based on their customer service. I booked a couples massages and received a cancellation call with no apology. They told me they were working on trying to find another therapist to fill in and would give me a call back on the final answer. They never called back and they never apologized for canceling. The owner called the next day and I returned her phone call but she never followed up. Just disappointed in the lack of concern for the customers with no apologies or follow ups.

I was in desperate need to get some knots out of my shoulders & was able to make a same day appt! Katherine did a fantastic job & I left feeling SO much better … very nice place & staff is friendly & helpful.

I love this place! Each of the staff members I’ve met have been wonderful! From the moment you walk through their doors, you know you’ve come to the right place! And there’s even a cafe in the lobby?!?! That was such a great surprise!

The place is nice and clean. Staff is welcoming. I did the hot stone massage, the European facial, and the deluxe pedicure. The pedicure was good. The massage is my favorite. My experience with Mrs Ashley was awesome. Not 5 stars because I think the facial could be better. Overall, it was a good experience.

I recently enjoyed my first spa day ever with 6 mother daughter friends at the Body Shoppe. Each of us had some of the same treatments (e.g. mani / pedi) and also some individual treatments (haircut & color, massages of various durations, and facials). Each of us of us found the technicians to be professional and skilled as well as personable and friendly. Each of us throughly enjoyed our various treatments in such clean & pleasant surroundings. Six of my favourite people and I had an absolutely delightful time for a mothers and daughters spa day. From the moment I called about 2 weeks ago to setup our day up until the second we left we were treated as the most special people in the world. All of us needed this. We all had approximately 5 treatments each and every one of us were thrilled. Each of our experiences were tailored to our desires so none of them were the same. Austin, Holly, and the amazing Body Shoppe team were professional, fun and exceptionally skilled. We have never been pampered like this. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our day was!!! We celebrated my daughters bday with the spa package and felt pampered from the time we arrived. We started with lunch which we were able to pre order had it waiting for us. Our massages and facials (Elfie gave me so much information on skin care)were relaxing and the pedicures were the perfect ending. We will be back to enjoy the services. I can’t say enough about all the girls!!!!

Mya was my person for my first ever facial. I have Dysautonomia and she was accommodating and kind. She made sure I was okay the entire time. Some things she had to do differently and she had a solution for every single thing. She even made sure to tell the full body masseuse about my health issues so that I didn't have to explain it all again. She validated my health 100% Never questioning if I "really needed to do something different. " She is such a warm and kind person. I felt safe and calm for the entire experience. I live out of town or I would see her regularly. It was the peace that I so desperately needed. The best way to describe Mya is a "warm hug". That is how she made me feel the entire time. I didn't even get a chance to be nervous because she is so warm. Also, she went above and beyond and wrote down an art activity idea I had for my class. So that I wouldn't forget it. Thank you for everything 💓

I had a head/neck massage. VERY disappointing, the woman wore gloves. I felt like she was concerned one of us would give the other something. She only worked from one side. Lazy. She needs a new job. Usually, the Body Shoppe masseuse's are great. Fortunately, they track who did each massage so I can stay away from this one.

I got a gift card, for pamper myself, it was for a facial. I have to emphasize, that I have never got one, it was my first, therefore I cannot compare this one to other facials. I love it, my skin was glowing, but not from glitters, it was from the exfoliation, and hydrated creams, that the Esthetician was applying on my thirsty skin. She explain, step by step, what she was doing, she makes me feel comfortable, and explain the products use, since I explain my eczema condition. I was relax after my pamper day, I will definitively will go again. They also offers other services, like head and neck massage, that will be my next treatment.

Where should I begin? This was my 2nd visit to the Body Shoppe Spa and salon. I am even more satisfied this time than the last. You expect people to bring out their “A”game when they know it’s your first visit in, but I went back this time and was even more thrilled than I was the first time. The service was every bit as good. They’re very conscientious about the atmosphere in the salon it’s clean it’s pleasant. The staff was friendly and professional. My aesthetician, Elfie Tilton was amazing she is the same one that I had the last time. I would recommend her highly. My daughter had Tammy. she had a facial today as well. This was her first to go around. She was very pleased. This is just a wonderful establishment and I would highly recommend you check them out if you are in need of services. My experience both times was amazing and I will start having regular facials and spa services. I even had the pleasure of meeting the owner today. Abby was just as lovely and kind as the other staff . She made the whole experience wonderful!

This was first time I visited this spa and salon and may I say I was very pleased with my experience. On the date of 02/17/23 I had an appointment at 10:30 am with madam Tammy. I've only had two facials in my life but out of the two Tammy really exceeded my expectations, and therefore I will return!. Tammy and the staff is very friendly and the spa is very clean.

Darcy does my hair! She's wonderful - a lot of fun and a great stylist! The staff make me feel so comfortable! Their coffee bar is amazing! I love the Chai Latte with spices! The food is great too!

I had an excellent experience at Body Shoppe Spa with Candy! When I made my appointment, I explained how I have thick hair and that it usually takes a while for a cut. They fit me in the next day! Candy was thorough and thoughtful with my haircut. I wish I found her before I had to move. She is one of a kind and puts love into her work. I highly recommend her to people with thick, wavy or curly hair. She really has the touch and knows to cut by strand!

Christy is the best massage therapist I've ever been to! Still holds true and I wish I could get in more often!

Staff was super friendly. I got waxing and eyelash tinting done. The only bad comments I would have are that I did get burned with the wax which left a mark right under my eyebrow right before my wedding and the place feels little bit run down. But overall it was a pleasant experience.

First time customer here and with Samantha doing my hair! I love love the results. I went from having a depressed looking hair to a lively and healthy one. She was very professional and you can tell she is very knowledgeable about hair color. She explained her plan and after 2 hours or so of balayage the colors came out so great! Will definitely go back.

Highly recommend Samantha! I have had Samantha help me with my hair and eye lashes. Both experiences she went above and beyond to accommodate my schedule and go over each step with me as she went a long. I highly recommend her! My hair color has been natural for over 11 years and I was hesitant to color it. She reviewed pictures and examples with me, then surprised me with exactly what I didn’t even know I wanted! We have another appt for my lashes Monday and I’m excited!

I don't have enough nice things to say about my experience today. It's my birthday, so I treated myself to a massage as well as a cut and color. My massage was with Mearly (I hope I got that right) and she was absolutely amazing as a therapist and as a person. She made me feel so welcome and cared for, and my back feels so much better. Samantha did my hair and I don't think I've ever loved a hair style so much. Everyone was so sweet and accommodating. I honestly just had a great overall experience. Also, the salon was super clean, cozy and comfortable.

Great massage but the manicurist was spouting Trumpism and conspiracy theories. So will not be returning.

I have been using this Spa for 2 decades! Absolutely great service! I drive from Gloucester Va to Yorktown for the special treatments they are oooo sooo good at! I couldn't imagine using another business they pail in comparison! I LOVE THE BODY SHOPPE!

Update (7/10/21) A testament to not just their work, but their humanity. I got a massage on July 1st after a long drive to and from NY to see my sick grandma. After my massage I found out my grandma passed away. I didn’t want to drive after hearing the news so I went back inside and asked for a quiet room. Not only did they take me to a quiet room, but one of the women at the desk, Riley, stayed and comforted me until I was ok to drive. They genuinely care about the people they serve. My grandma’s calling hours were Thursday and my husband and I are going Sunday to get massages to destress our bodies. I look forward to being worked on by people that care. Original Review I’ve gone here about 3 times to see if this will be my new go-to for stress management... 100% making this me regular spot. They are amazingly friendly, decent prices, great cafe attached, and the massages are mind-blowing! I have severe leg pain and am very sensitive to touch. The professional who works with me, Shanna, gives me exactly the right amount of pressure to enjoy myself, work my muscles, but not hurt me. This is very hard to find. I completely recommend them to everyone who wants to feel great for at least a solid week.

After a previous unsatisfactory facial experience at The Body Shoppe, the owner Abbey called me to personally apologize and offered for me to come back for a better facial. Elfie certainly delivered and my skin feels great. I’ll certainly be going back to see her again. She was really friendly and informative. I am a massage therapist and Reiki Practitioner at the Body Shoppe Spa. In 2012 my daughter and I went in for salon appts; I inquired about employment and was hired. This is a hidden pearl in Yorktown, VA.

The employees are amazing! Super sweet and calm atmosphere. Very relaxing and 100% would recommend to all of my friends! If you are looking to relax this is the place to do it! They also have a café with tons of delicious drinks and snacks 😁🙌🏼

I just have to rave about my experience here with Sam! 😍 She has taken me under her wing as I rediscover who I am after years being a momma and losing 155lbs. My hair looks healthy, and I nearly cried when I saw my lashes. 🥰 I trust them so much I let them dye my daughters hair red (Red Red!). I was really worried but they made it look incredible. And my daughter is thrilled!

My technician, Amanda, was amazing. She was very professional and made the experience much more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Samantha Pryce was absolutely amazing! She applied the most beautiful whimsical full looking eye lashes that are to die for! We also did a partial high light and cut and I look like a whole new woman! She’s the best, 5-star service and if you’ve never had your lashes done, you should do it now! No need to put on any makeup with wearing this mask all day, You just get up, wash your face and go and you look put together and professional! I highly recommend!

Tammy is a master of her craft! I had dermaplaning for the first time. Tammy catered my service specific to my needs and made me feel welcomed and completely relaxed under her care. From the very clean relaxing atmosphere, to the soft and warm facial bed, my skin felt invigorated and was glowing after Tammy completed my dermaplaning with a hydro jelly mask I added to my service! I will be scheduling this into my beauty routine from now on!

This place has a great history and start-up story. The girls are so talented. Candy is my daughter's go-to for color, cut and style. Dorothea is my go-to for relaxer treatment, cut, and damage recovery. But they are all top notch, good at everything, and down-to-earth. It's like a swanky salon with neighborhood care. Highly recommend.

Ms. Kathy took care of me! I saw a color that I really liked and I am multiracial with mulitexture hair. I already had great expectations but the final result had me with my mouth on the floor. The colors, the depth, and how flawless she was in ever step of the way, had me saying OMG and I teared up a bit. It was astonishingly gorgeous. I feel like a brand new woman and I am excited to go back. Ms. Kathy is an amazingly brilliant and kind woman, that gave me a huge smile again with my new look.

Body Shoppe is a spa, cafe and salon all in one. Nothing like what you would expect, such a pleasant surprise! Abby, the owner, has selected the best group of ladies for her spa!! They are all so professional yet personable and friendly! I went with two girlfriends, and we all felt as if we were hanging out with cousins doing our Mani/Pedis and massages. It was such a wonderful experience! And the hot chocolate from the cafe was AMAZEBALLS!! As women, we were so proud to see other women working together and helping each other - just making it happen!! Body Shoppe is the place to go for a full body treat!! She explained in detail the steps that would occur. Her calming manner made the experience even better. I am more than satisfied with her work. I just went for an hour massage with Christie... Oh My Goodness was it Life Changing! I was recently diagnosed with Degenerative Arthritis in my back and I suffer with severe debilitating pain. My Orthopedic Dr. recommended that I get a massage as often as possible. Christie was so kind, compassionate and understanding. She also has the sweetest personality. I felt like a new person! It has relieved my pain and given me my mobility back. I can't express enough how wonderful my massage was and I will definitely be going back again and again!!! My experience getting my hair done with Candy was wonderful! I'm not very good with hair-things, so she helped me find a style that worked really well for me. The highlighting she did turned out beautifully, and she gave me some great advice about how to take care of it properly without breaking my wallet. The whole experience with her was relaxing and fun since she's so easy to talk to. In additional, the salon overall is very clean and chic, and the staff are all so sweet! 100% would recommend going there to get your hair done, I know I'll be going back soon. :)

I've enjoyed the mani/pedi treatments here and everything the coffee bar makes is wonderful but my favorite is always the massage therapy. Christi makes each session a little slice of heaven and I walk out feeling like a new person!
