Both of our dishes and sides were barely warm. Even the bread was dry and cool. Told the waitress and received no follow up or offer to fix.

The food was very good, staff was kind and the atmosphere very beautiful. The stater calamari was delicious. The kids menu was decent my son got shrimp & fries, my cod imperial was decadent and my grandmother throughly enjoyed her shrimp & scollops. My only criticism if any was that the bustle sprout side was a bit pithy in the middle but the preparation & presentation was very good.

I had the mahi-mahi and the fish had no flavor and my Caesar salad had been drowned in salad dressing

Great food, our star-tender Tori was sweet, quick with drinks, and went above and beyond. She came up with the most delicious mocktail and refreshing lemonade cocktail! The highlight of our experience!

We come here occasionally for the food, the service, and the atmosphere - all 3 have to be on point to justify the slightly higher prices. If any of those three are off it mars the experience. To be told at brunch that my only option to sub for bacon is yet more potatoes when they have dozens of side options they could have offered is ludicrous. Then to not deliver the extra potatoes (that I didn’t want anyway) just added to the comedy of errors. I’m pescatarian and would gladly accept any offer of fruit or vegetables. I wasn’t going to say anything since it wasn’t a big deal but noticed the people next to us also didn’t get something they ordered so I gave it a shot. The server’s explanation was they were understaffed and offered to give me potatoes to go, which was the last thing I wanted. Otherwise… I had the Bang Bang Shrimp Eggs Benedict which was very tasty. I forget now what my wife had I was too annoyed to really enjoy the experience sorry not sorry.

Took my mom here for a nice dinner on Sat night. My mom’s lobster tail came out raw (gross) so they apologized and took it away, promising another one asap. Well, I ate my meal slowly and finished… and still no lobster. Meanwhile they were getting busy and the hostess who has long lovely untied hair is now in the to go area of the kitchen helping (I was seated with this view) and she is swinging her hair around - omg- as a former restaurant mgr, I was aghast. I was patiently waiting for a manager to stop by our table- never saw one at all. Mom got her lobster tail to go and the bill had ZERO taken off (we had dessert and cocktails and signature sides- so management had “options “). It was supposed to be a special dinner for my mom, and it seemed like no one there cared one iota that they screwed up badly. My 90 year old mom was a good sport, but she was disappointed! Also, the water still tastes horrible there- so badly that the server joked about it a few months ago when I was there for lunch. Come on Bonefish - DO BETTER! UPDATE- Dear Bonefish, the email address you provided me begins with a pop-up that forces me to join your "membership club". I can't even explain further as you requested until I fill it in- NO THANK YOU! Talk about making a bad situation worse...

We had a great lunch with Chelsea as our server. The manager and staff were very friendly, Brandon was very helpful too.

I ordered the crab cakes and they were very good, all crab. I also ordered the pot stickers which were terrible. They were over cooked and not fresh. Seemed like they were old. I ate 2 and threw the rest away Never had them before at Bonefish but I like to try new things. The pot stickers were definitely not a good choice

It was about 9:45 on a Friday night-Bonefish closed at 10, but the food & service was amazing. Our server’s name was Becky-she was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. It was a great experience. Keep up the good work & win forever. Believe!

It was actually a good experience this time around. Fully staffed and efficient. However the servers may need more training on timing to bring out appetizers and food. At least wait 15 minutes between serving the appetizers and entrees. My food ended up being cold because I was still eating my salad that was brought out to me roughly 30-45 secs before the entree.

This was a horrible experience! We took my wife’s mother there for her 99th birthday which was last night. We ordered the mahi-mahi, and two orders of the cod imperial. All three of us, as a side, got the broccoli. When the food came, the broccoli was cold, almost like it came out of the refrigerator. My rice was clumpy and not good. The chef came apologized. They were going to take all three dishes away instead we convinced them to leave the fish and just return the broccoli and the rice. So they bring one small plate from my mother-in-law‘s fish and a large plate for mine. As we were eating into the cod, we discovered that it was way overcooked. To make manners worse the general manager came and apologized. I say worse, because, he wouldn’t quit talking. Just gave excuse after excuse after excuse. Said he’s only been there nine days, but he promised a complete turnaround . When the broccoli came for all three of us, it was hot, but it was hardly cooked. It was beyond crunchy. It was just a little above raw. They never brought the rice. In my opinion, the entire dinner should have been comped. Instead, they gave us a 15% discount and two free glasses of house wine they tried to press hard on a free dessert, but I wouldn’t have it. As we left, the general manager came up again and started apologizing, and I simply told him that they didn’t take enough off the bill. He had the audacity to tell me that he would give us some free appetizers for our return trip. We just simply left shaking our heads. My wife and I are from Tampa and love going to the Bonefish. The Tallahassee location needs serious help. I’ve looked at the reviews today and they’re horrible. I’m not sure they put the right general manager in place, time will tell.

It had been over 5 years since my last visit to Bonefish grill. There was no bread offered. The food was ok but definitely not of the quality that I had experience before. Also my order was missing 2 ingredients that were on the menu description. I asked the server why they were missing and she said it was a mistake on the menu. Overall the experience was good.

Bonefish has been a staple for me throughout the years. From Martini Monday’s to $5 Wednesday bang bang shrimp. We have noticed the decline these past few years. We went for lunch on Saturday to a very empty restaurant. However we waited 15 mins just for our drinks which was only water and tea. Bread was finally delivered and it was cold. The bang bang shrimp was hard and most of the shrimp didn’t have sauce. Our main courses were decent hence the 2 stars. However the service and overall quality of the food is not worth the expensive price tag.

The food was good, but the service was awful. We waited 15 minutes before we even saw a server, and he went to another table. We were finally served, but we had to ask for water several times, and our glasses were not refilled.

Food was great; portions were large. Service was very slow. A half hour passed before the server took our order. Pleasant people, but the pace was much slower than desired.

Well, first I have to say this restaurant is a hidden gem for me. My husband and I went here for lunch on Saturday and to our surprise the food was absolutely delicious. You have to try the cauliflower wings they are so good, trust me. We'll definitely be coming back here again🙂

Ordered sirloin and crab cake. The crab cake was delicious but way, way too small. Smaller than a biscuit. Three bites. Sirloin ordered medium well, it came so rare that blood was dripping from it when I cut into it. I told my husband that if I had a defibrillator I could have saved the cow. I had to send it back. Waitress seemed stunned I sent it back to be grilled to medium. We were the only patrons at that time but we only saw our waitress once and I think if my dad hadn’t started calling “Miss? Miss?” We’d still be waiting. Then she arrived again and got us refills. That was the last time we saw her. If I ever eat food from there again, it would be crab cakes and asparagus to pick up. Oh, the macaroni cheese with bacon was great, I’d get that as well. Not the place to go for a steak.

We usually love Bonefish but this experience left a lot to be desired. We received the wrong side with one of our dishes and waited 15-20 minutes for the correct side to be delivered to the table. My husband and our guest both ordered filets that looked more like ribeyes and were not cooked to their order. My sea bass entree, which was the evening’s special, was severely undercooked and was replaced after approximately 30 minutes. When it finally arrived it was still partially undercooked but it was already late and a weeknight so I just worked with it. Bang bang shrimp was on point as always. Manager was amazing…and it was her first night. We did not have to pay for my entree and received a free dessert as compensation for the kitchen mishaps.

We were going to have lunch there as we have done before but when we arrived there we people waiting outside. They said you weren’t open , there was no sign on the door stating hour changes I pulled up the website and told the other people waiting that you now open at 3. Needless to say we were all disappointed and have to settle for something else Please post something on the door so others won’t be waiting outside. Thank you for answering me I mainly write you because of the others that were waiting when I got there evidently they don’t know how to find your website. Do a sign on the door would suffice. And I will be back we love your bang bang shrimp tacos

We have given this place so many chances frequenting at least a couple of time a month. The food and service is always inconsistent. U just don’t know what you’re going to get on what day. The last experience was the straw that broke the camels back. Bang bang shrimp starter came out greasy with the coating falling off and lumping up. Next a salad with grilled chicken came out after sitting under a heat lamp for sometime. The salad was warm, soggy and limp. Disgusting! Lastly, a seafood basket with battered Cod and Shrimp arrived. The grease was so old u could not discern the taste of the fish from the shrimp. Left most of the food on the plate. Explained all to the waitress who simply stated she had no control over the food, did not offer the help of her manager which left us at her mercy.

Great place to take a date, the Moscow mules were tasty, and the old fashions are prepared nicely.

we try to go here every time we are in Tallahassee. It is a great place and the food is very good and reasonable. The bartender is great. She recommended a bottle of wine and it was very good. So good that we stopped at a store when we left and bought twp bottles.

They were a little busy that night but service was good. Food was okay, previous times we've been there the food was excellent. Wasn't worth the price we paid. The portions appeared to be smaller and my wife lobster was over cooked. Not sure if we'll go back.

Maybe an off night. I’ve only been twice and both times were disappointing. Many open tables and had to wait 20min for 2. 20min for drinks. Steak overcooked and both missing sides. They took the proper charges off the bill which I do appreciate but on the other hand you want a worry free night out with your girl at a fancy place and end up not getting any………..good service I mean. The freshest calamari and shrimp I’ve ever eaten. They cook grilled salmon in wood fire and it is crazy delicious✨ Also, Chicken Marsala was delicious “I realized that I did not take a pic when I saw the empty plate”

This place and the workers were absolutely AMAZING!!! I came here for my 22nd birthday with a VERY big party (as in 20+ people) and had no issues with any of the service. Food was hot, fresh, and quick and the drinks were delicious and came out very quickly. I will 100000% go back and i will recommend this place to EVERYONE. Thank you for an amazing experience and unbelievable service for my 22nd birthday!

We were not treated fairly here. With today’s inflation, I expect a dinner out, (which I am rarely able to do), to be a nice experience. We had to wait to be seated, even though there were many open tables. Our appetizer was served old. It had been premade for more than just a day. The food came out undercooked and cold after taking over an hour to be served our dinner. I was starving by the time we got our main entree’s even though we had bread and an appetizer. I do not understand the uncomfortable and bulky paper on the tables. How trashy that is to arrange tables this way. We aren’t in 2005 anymore. Also, the restaurant is old and smelly. The bathrooms were very outdated. I won’t be eating there again. This town needs some updated dining experiences.

We asked for Xmas Eve reservations for 10-12. There was hesitation but made the reservation. Seating was fine, server nice. I’m guessing the kitchen was the main problem since food came out slowly. So slowly that it took at least 30 minutes and first served had to finish or their food would be cold

First of all, Bonefish makes some GOOD DELICIOUS DRINKS. I ordered shrimp artichoke pasta. It was a bit under seasoned but overwise tasted good. My mom ordered Trout and that was STUNNING. Cooked to perfection. But what impressed me the most was the service. I think my server's name was Madison. She was so nice and knowledgeable! She knew the menu very well and even cracked a few jokes. I appreciate her! The manager came to our table as the night was ending, and he was awesome and left a great impression. I would recommend Bonefish Grill as I would definitely go back.

They gave me cold food and when I asked them to have it remade they bought me the same plate back with the rice extra fry

Had a Outstanding Christmas Eve Dinner Experience @ Bonefish Grill , this team knows how to do it right , yummy .

We waited over 1 hour for food & we had reservations! The fries appetizer was under-whelming.

Very slow!!! Sat at the table for 40 minutes. The greeter was nice enough to bring us water and bread. NEVER saw the server. Walked out. Wasn’t busy at all. SAD!!

Our waitress was wonderful. That was the best thing about the “experience”. The bang bang shrimp were so dry I had to order sauce. Some were overcooked/ missing breading. I ordered a filet mignon med well, came med rare. Sent it back to have it “recooked”. My husband ordered the grouper, mac and cheese and potatoes. Mac and cheese had little cheese. The potato’s came out 13 minutes later. Then my steak came back. It was now like rubber and used the same plate but hey I got a dab of mashed potatoes which was in the blood from the med rare steak. Let’s just say expensive dog treat for my dogs. I guess in the old days, a manager would bring recooks out but not anymore. Our sweet waitress did. Or in the old days, after you finished your meal, a manager would come by your table and ask about your experience. Will be a very long time before we go back. Definitely not worth $165 for 2 people.

Hubby and I went out for dinner last night. I ordered my usual cocktail and immediately realized when it arrived that it wasn't made the usual way. It arrived with a squeezed lemon floating instead of a skewer of frozen grapes. I inquired why it wasn't served with frozen grapes and our waiter checked with the bartender. I was told they were out of grapes. The waiter offered to give me a different drink and the one I selected couldn't be made as they were out of something it required. So, I kept the cocktail that I had but I will make sure they have grapes in stock next time as it doesn't have the same appeal with citrus in it. Next, part of my husband's order was left off. Again, our waiter was quick to accept responsibility and secure the missing side dish. My OCD kicked in to overdrive regarding a drop light that hangs between the dining and bar area. It is crooked and it kept grabbing my attention. That is me being me but just straighten the light!! 😂 I'm sorry the kickers for the evening included shattered glasses and food left on the floor under the table next to us. So, not in a big rush to head back over but will eventually as I do love their Bang Bang Shrimp.

The last two times we went the service has been ok but this last time our service was awful. The food was poor but she never came around to ask and then they took the CRAB out of the Imperial Dip and now it’s AWFUL. I called and asked for a manager to call me back the next day on 11/5 and I still haven’t heard back.

Came w my boyfriend after the game to avoid long wait times and it was a great idea. Ordered the Parmesan crusted trout and it was super yummy. The bread and pesto is to die for. Mussels were not as good as other bonefish establishments but not bad. Bartender was very kind and always checking in.

Excellent customer service and the staff was very professional and prompt to assist. Kudos to the Cooks also.

A little pricey but the food was worth it.

The waiter started off with "a lot of people called in" . Service was terrible. The waiter could have easily filled my water but never did. My wife bit down on small plastic pieces in her spinach and that was terrible. They covered her meal but the damage was done. This was, by far, the worst experience ever at the Bonefish Grill.

We went there Friday night to celebrate my husband's birthday. When we first arrived, he went to the restroom. When he returned to table he said he would never use that bathroom again because of the filth. He never notices things like that so it alerted me to stay away from the ladies because I do notice. It was the dinner hour so understood why our waiter took so long to come and then retrieve drinks. Our order was delivered by bus boy. Our wine glasses were empty and we were halfway through meal and still hadn't seen our waiter. We asked another waiter to find him for us. No luck. We asked the hostess preparing another table next to us. No luck. People at the booth next to us told their waiter we needed to some attention, so that waiter came over and asked what ours looked like. Then he took our wine order. As he brought out wine, our waiter finally arrived and asked if we needed anything. We explained what had happened and he said, "My manager asked to have a meeting with me." At dinner time on a Friday night? I asked him to let the manager know that customers should always come first. "I will certainly inform my manager of that," came the reply. Then he brought the bill on a computer and stood sentinel over me while I contemplated the tip. Even after I said I felt as if he was hovering he remained in place. Then he said they were comping the wine as if I was being given some wonderful gift. The food was mediocre and as a result of our waiting, we were late making it to a performance. Even worse, I had to rush to the bathroom once we arrived at the theater. We will never return to this restaurant. It was a rotten experience.

Bang Bang shrimp needed a little more Bang. Margarita was amazing, compliments to the bartendar. Order a salad and a bowl of soup....oops, sadly someone forgot it sitting in the pickup window, l could see it but not eat it.....

This is the third time I’ve had disappointing service at bonefish. We went there just over a year and a half ago and swore we”d never go back. My friend wanted to have his birthday dinner there so we went. What a disappointment. We had to wait a while before anyone even came and got our drinks. The service was very slow. My friend’s salmon was way over cooked. My husband’s steak was burnt. My steak was practically raw and I wanted medium well. They took it back twice to try to correct it and it still came out too raw. I took it home to my dog. The seating has been changed to where everyone is packed in and you’re practically sitting on top of one another. This used to be a romantic restaurant. Not anymore. I have never been so disappointed in a restaurant in my life. Was contacted here to copy this to another website so they could respond. Well no surprise- I’ve gotten no response. Very poor service. If you’re not going to respond why ask me to waste my time

Empty restaurant Sat at the bar and waited Some woman in a Chef jacket looked at me as I walked in and turned to go back to the kitchen, not saying hello, welcome, or see you later... I ordered a poke bowl and crab cakes. White Chef Jacket lady comes out with a plate of crab cakes and says "will there be anything else ?" I said yes, how about my poke bowl ! She looked at me like i was speaking Spanish, but then blurts out "we don't have poke bowls" then just turns and walks away ! Five minutes later the bartender comes back and says "did you need something" I said "yes how about my poke bowl" - she walks back to the kitchen - comes back a few minutes later and says "well we did not get our seafood order in". How do you not this when welcoming people into the restaurant? Best to go to the Japanese Fusion place a few doors down !

I had such a great time eating out this weekend Melissa totally made it one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had going out! She's so kind and on top of everything! Couldn't ask for better service! 10/10 would come again for the good food and her excellent service!

Brunch was good. French toast was infused with Gran Martier...very tasty. Bartender James treated us as if we had never experienced Brunch entrees..not nasty but sarcastic...He was Caucasian we had a diverse group.

I ordered with Door Dash. The large entree salad was sooo small with wilted lettuce…..barely a side salad and the ahi tuna poke was watery with no chips as shown in the picture 😝😝😝

The food and the service were very good!

We had a filet and a lobster tail. Both were over-cooked, we sent back the filet, and it came back cooked about right, but it could not have been a filet cut. The waiter said that their filets are not round, but still the same meat, but it was rough and chewy like a cheap steak. The broccoli was plain, and the rice was borderline crispy, but I will say that the apple martini was great, the lemon drop was great, and the margarita was OK, but overall a disappointing experience. I try to avoid carbs, but I had to fill up on bread, I did bring the steak home for the dogs.

Visited the Tallahasee Bonefish… it is clear that management has changed. AVOID visiting!! Go next door or acoriss the street. SERVICE is HORRIBLE!!!! We sat almost twenty minutes before someone brought us water. Beware and avoid the blond Bartender. She fills drinks with simple syrup and does not follow standard recipes. She is horrible. If possible, ask for another bartender. She did not follow standard recipe for a French 75 and I got a glass of sugar water!!!! It was horrible. When confronted, she laughed it off and I asked for a manager.

Their fish and chips are the worst thing I’ve ever put in my mouth. The breading is supposed to be light and fluffy, with the fish being the main taste of the meal. It looks like they triple dipped a tiny cod filet in doughnut batter to hide how small their portions are. I’m not even exaggerating when I say the meal was 70% breading and only 30% fish. The oil the fish was cooked in was also so old that it gave the entire meal a burnt bitter taste. The crab fries were also similarly awful, two tablespoons of crab spread over a bed of fries. There wasn’t even enough crab to put on a third of the fries.

I applied for this place in early august and scored an interview and was hired same day! I did have to do some onboarding before i was given a start date. I completed the onboarding and here it is a MONTH later and still no start date. I’ve called and emailed and i’ve gotten nothing back from them. Super unprofessional! Good luck if you’re trying to work here.

From the time you enter bonefish Andrea the hostess greets you with a smile. James the bartender/server makes excellent recommendations and drinks. Don't forget to tell Jay the manager on duty that her and her staff is awesome.

This place was HORRIBLE! Waitress took our order, food was brought by another person and we NEVER saw our waitress again. The food was terrible and I called the manager over to complain. Never saw him again! We had to ask the person cleaning tables to try and get us our bill so we could get the hell out of there!!!!!!! Never, ever will we eat at another Bonefish!

Spectacular 58th anniversary dinner with family. Becky made our evening very special.

This is our "second chance " for this restaurant. This experience was way beyond worse than the first. Our server had a table of 20 plus 2 more tables. Totally ignored the other 2 tables. Our bread alone took 15 minutes. Our food came out incomplete, with the sides never arriving. The shrimp and scallops were so over cooked they were comparable to eating the wine cork. The manager was called who compted one dish and the sides that never arrived. FIFTEEN minutes later we still had no check. The Mgr returned, we finally got a check to pay. At this point the server bothered to show up to see if we needed anything. This whole experience was aweful. The "mgr." needs to learn to run a restaurant. JUST GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

I had a bad feeling when my shoes were sticking to the floor when we entered. We waited at least 5 minutes for the hostess to show up and take us to a booth where there was food on the walls, floor and seat and there was only 5 tables seated. Ordered salad and fish. It took 45 minutes to get a salad and an hour to receive a piece of fish and broccoli. The fish was just shy of rubber and the broccoli was just shy of paste. Our server was nice in the beginning and copped an attitude after we spoke about how bad the food was. She said it was “hit or miss” on the food. For the wait staff to admit this…… Skip this place!

Food is always good. I've always had a good experience with service but last night was not so good. The waitress was not very friendly he acted as if he didn't want to be there. Our appetizer took forever to come out. The waitress didn't communicate with us on how long it would be before the appetizer came out even after I asked about it. We went around 9 something and it was hardly any customers in the restaurant I just felt like it should not have taken so long so get food.

We had a great happy hour at Bone Fish. Thé drinks were great and our bartender James was excellent.

Very poor service despite restaurant being fairly empty. My entree was delivered with the wrong protein ordered. My server twice told me that the correct protein was on the way. Finally, my order arrived after the manager came to the table to ask how everything was going. Everyone else had eaten their meal. Asked for extra lemon slices and they were never delivered. Ordered desert with four spoons and only two were delivered. Lack of attention by server. Will not visit again. This use to be a favorite restaurant.

This review is long overdue. This is for Tieka!!! May 2023 - Graduation week and weekend Tie extended top notch 5 star service. It started with her follow-up call during the week to confirm my reservations; making the necessary adjustments for our guest count, providing details on how to proceed in case of additional changes… she touched on every detail and extended the opportunity additional questions in case anything else became a concern. The day of service, Saturday 5.6.2023, is when all the magic really happened. Prompt and Attentive service was provided by Tie and our waiter (I’m sorry I do not remember his name). We waited almost 4 full hours at another restaurant before we were seated. Since it was my daughter’s day everyone patiently waited but then we were told it would be another 40+ mins before we could get an order from the kitchen. Well I called Tie to let her know we are likely going to keep our 4:00 PM reservation; we would be about 30 mins early “would that be a problem?” She said “no come on over”. I explained to her I have a group of hot and hungry people. “Can you please put in 3 orders of bang bang shrimp so that we have something to start with once we arrive? “ She and our waitress made it happen!! The tables were ready, water was promptly poured, bread delivered; followed by our starters. Let’s just say Bone Fish is now my Mom’s favorite restaurant and she does not like to eat out or gives compliments that easy. Thank you to Tie and the staff that worked Saturday May 6, 2023. Everyone I interacted with was great!

Jayden (the server) was wonderful. The food was excellent and the restaurant was clean. We’re very pleased!
