Had my first long island here and will never try one again. Didn't think to ask what it was first. Lol. The guy working there was so friendly and helpful. It wasn't a bad drink. I'm just not a big drinker. This was the first time in almost 3 yrs.

This is a Boondock Saints fans dream. You have to get a shot here and the bartender was super nice

Great staff and drinks...right off Bourbon Street so if you're looking for a good bar minus the hustle and bustle of it all, this is it!!! The staff (Lacey) is awesomeness!!!

Great dive bar. Reminds me of old Irish pubs in new York. Lacey the bartender was very nice, and informative of everything New Orleans. The beers were cheap, and the atmosphere was brilliant!

This was a small place right off Bourbon Street. There was seating available at the bar, but they also had a few tables along the wall. The bar had nice decor, and the bartenders were super nice. The bar itself seems to have a lot of local patrons that frequent this place. This place is a great stop for a drink if you're looking for a quieter place in the Bourbon Street area.

Awesome stop if you are in the area. The bartender was amazing. Relaxing and laid back. Plus, some of the best tasting Mothers Milk I've had in year!

Gave us Guinness in plastic pints because she “didn’t trust us with adult glasses.” Rude staff in a distinctly unfunny way. No need to go here when there’s many similar or better options in the quarter.

Great little bar, staff were very nice. More pub then daiquiri to go. Price are reasonable as well. Lots of alcohol choices. I love the movie too.

Found this spot on my first night. Great beer (very very good Guinness) great craic and just everything you want in a bar. Stop by for a pint.

In my opinion...dive bar but so cool! lots of fire department and police department memorabilia on the walls and ceiling. Has a real vibe to it like bars you see in cop movies. Very very chill atmosphere, and a just straight up cool spot to drink.

Party dive bar. Great place to grab a drink while everyone else is in the more club like spots. Bartender was friendly and fast. Crowd was having a great time. Love all the little decorative details in this spot. Irish because they have and Harp but don't expect anything else that's not domestic. Bathroom exists but use at own risk. If you are hanging in this area you probably don't mind just happy to have one. Overall I liked Boondocks, just a solid small bar with solid vibes.

Absolutely amazing. We’ve searched out this bar the last two times we’ve been down here and have been treated like family every time. I will walk all the way down bourbon just to get to this bar. Love love love. Mechelle is that best!!

We were visiting from out of the area and went to order a few drinks. I went to use the restroom and when I returned we were told to leave because we looked too young to be there and gave the bartender “bad vibes”. It was extremely rude and I do not recommend this bar.

Good bar I come every year when I'm in New Orleans. This year was kinda odd putting when I seen the bartenders shirt that said tip nice or leave on the back. Little trashy for my taste and I have loved this bar for Years.

We went here to watch the Saints play. Great location and the crowd was awsome. They had a free burrito bar, free shots for kick-off, and Miller Lite Girls gave free beer, t-shirts and a raffle.

We stopped in here to check out the place because my wife and I are huge fans of the movies. They did a good job with the decor and atmosphere. Everything you would expect except for the stars of the shows being there. Lol! Drinks were reasonably priced and the crowd was fun. We e enjoyed our time spent here and would definitely return.

What a fun bar! A favorite for locals. Good drinks at great prices and not too crowded. Fantastic service, and the bartender was a tremendous conversationalist. The bathroom is a little sketchy and the door didn't lock behind me, but otherwise this was one of my favorite watering holes in the city.

Go next door to High Grace: Rory is a great bartend.

The best friendly neighborhood bar. We could actually hear and talk to our neighbors. We dashed in to cool off and get away from all the loud music... stayed to chat with all our new friends. Great place.

After eight years this still holds the title of my go-to bar in New Orleans. Everyone is welcome and each and every one of the bartenders is wonderful. They make you laugh, feel at home and get all the clientele to engage with each other!

Sweet dive, movie on rotation...

We went on Halloween night for a few quiet drinks. It started off nice and Michelle the bartender seemed cool at first. There were three of us and I was buying drinks for the group. I bought two drinks for my friend and one for myself and the third friend was our designated driver. The DD was drinking water and got up to use the bathroom when Michelle the bartender physically blocked her from entering the bathroom and told her it was for customers only. I’ve been a bartender and server for 15 years. I could not imagine caring that much to not let someone use the bathroom. I understand not letting someone wander in off the street but we were patrons. Also, to clarify, I tipped her $16 on a $16 tab and my friend was planning on tipping for her water as well.

Met the owner and some of her patrons, good people, great place. Also want to point out that there is an O'Brian near by...but they don't have Guinness on tap. So for a real Irish spot, go onto to Boondocks !!!

We were here for St. Patrick's Day. They had one bartender (older large woman) who was not only the slowest person I've met but had no personality and purposefully took a group six guys' Black and Tan order over my 2 beers despite having been at the bar first and waited for her to slowly ring up t-shirts. Horrible service and atmosphere. I can’t believe this place has such good reviews.

A must for fans of the movies or dive bars!! Try the mystery shot.

This place is a super spreader. Not checking vax cards, bartender was out of her mind. Dogs walking and sitting ON the bar. Not a single mask on in the place. I love bars that let you bring dogs, but having them walk around ON the bar where drinks are served is un sat. This used too be my favorite spot in the quarter, not anymore. Unbelievable.

English man here from Ireland. Staff were excellent, offered us free snacks and enjoyed watching some American football and learning how the hell it works. Cheap drinks with an smile. The gnarly barley was excellent. Felt like a local and treated like a local. Still here....

Awesome place. While you're there, say, HI, to Chaz. Anyway, you'll be treated right and the Guinness is always poured to perfection. I'm going to miss this place when I go home

After a dissapointing experience at Pat Os, we found thia spot right across. Sat down and had some really good bloody marys and baked potatoe. The bar, food and drinks hit the spot. Bar tender was friendly and attentive. Their hurricane tasted better than the ones from Pat Os. Good experience.

Went to New Orleans for a visit...just to get away. While out walking one day, say the bar from the road and it looked as if the customers were having a great time. Decided to go in and check it out. Boy, am I glad i did!! What a place! EVERYONE was friendly. Pearl was the bartender and even though the bar was VERY busy I felt like I was the only customer in the bar. I went back the next day and some regular customers were meeting at Boondock Saint to celebrate their wedding. Food was brought by the bride and groom and some of the wedding party members. They offered me food even though I was not a regular there. How awesome is that?! From the moment I walked into the bar I was treated like family. That kind of atmosphere is hard to find! When I go back to New Orleans I will DEFINITELY visit this bar again. Thanks to the owner, staff and patrons for an awesome experience!!

Love this place! Chill little locals bar in the French Quarter. Super friendly bar tenders pour great concoctions and serve very cold beer here. The movie Boondock Saint plays on a continuous loop, which is pretty cool.

This is our always our first stop when we come to NOLA. Best bar in New Orleans. Jaime is the best bar tender and remembers you and makes you feel like home.
