Went to watch a Premier League soccer game. The staff could not have been more friendly. Great patio area and fantastic food and drink.

I wanted to like this place, but the only two times I’ve gone the vibe is really off. Feels very insular and not very welcoming. They have surprise events all the time, like book club, and if you don’t know about it and show up people will look at you like you are crazy. Just not a friendly vibe at all.

I come to this bar a lot, and have really enjoyed my time there, but it has really taken a turn for the worse. This review is compiled from my past 5 times there. When this place first opened, I was so happy to have one of their many different options of mojitos. This used to be on their regular menu, however the last 3 times I have asked for a mojito, they are always out of mint. Now listen, I know that nobody likes to make mojitos. But it’s absolutely ridiculous to not have your supplies stocked for a bar. One of the times I have went, the bartender informed me that they did not have any tequila, mint, or rum. I do not understand how a literal bar could be out of alcohol. I feel so incredibly bad for the bartenders here. Most of the time, it is 2 bartenders and there is a constant line of about 10-15 people waiting for drinks. There is no possible way to give the best customer service in those conditions. And I find it very telling that there are constantly new bartenders. I come here fairly often, a few times a month, and the bartenders never last for very long. Today, with the two bartenders working, they also ran out of beer glasses, and were ordering customers to bring back their glasses if they wanted a refill. I’m all for reduce reuse recycle, but that’s not how a bar is run. And it’s also not sanitary whatsoever to be refilling glasses without them getting washed. It’s so disappointing coming here now. And it’s so upsetting because I have interacted with the owner on more than one occasion, and he is very kind and accommodating. But it doesn’t show. A lot of people really love this bar, and it’s such a great atmosphere, but it is not being handle as best as it could be.

Dogs were dogs, all ladies were breath taken, music trunk a little loader, beer to high, then same set on gulf coast, makes money!!

I really love this bar so much and it's in my favorite part of town, Mid City! Between the wonderful people you run into, to the staff, and their regular food pop ups! Not to mention, they offer free Yoga on Mondays. It really is a special place.

Eclectic bar with a wide variety of beers on draft, as well as a full bar for other drink options. Casual atmosphere, with food trucks and other places to eat nearby. Would definitely go back to hang out when we come back through town.

They have an event. Every month. Where like, 50 people show up, order happy hour drinks, and sit and read their book of choice. It's called Pelican to Mars Silent Book Club. For now it's the 3rd Wednesday of every month. You won't know how magical this is until you grab your paperback and join in on the hour. It's crazytown beautiful. Oh, also, they know what a negroni is.

This is one of the best bars in BR. They have karaoke here every single Monday

This quickly became my favorite bar in Baton Rouge. The atmosphere is great and there's always an eclectic group of people. The food truck is always serving up some slamming food. Everything you want in your neighborhood bar!

Link and I had a great experience on Saturday afternoon. The drink was tasty and they were super dog friendly; but I couldn't give 5 stars because the amount the drink was versus what was listed on the menu was different. I was charged more than what was listed on the menu. Please update your menus to reflect current pricing. ETA: I ordered a Winter Blanket which is on the menu for $12, but was informed it was $13 and my card was charged $13+ taxes.

Fantastic beer selection and mixed drinks. Staff is awesome. Unpretentious bar with a great variety of patrons and things to do.

Super cute funky lil bar. Wish I would have known about it sooner! The inside is small, but cozy. Plenty of bottled and draft beers to choose from, along with specialty cocktails and a food truck out front. The outside area has cute lawn chairs and tables with umbrellas on turf. Very 50s vibes. There’s a nice sized covered area with a large screen which would be perfect for game days. Excited to see what sort of events they have planned in the future. Best part is that they’re pet friendly! 🐕🐩

Very cool hangout with a hip mid-century vibe. Great service, craft cocktails and ton of beer on tap. Love the old-school/retro folding chairs and patio tables outside. Really dig the “analog now-playing” Spotify board… very cool! 😎👍

This place is full of surprises. Doesn't look like much walking up but has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Baton Rouge.

Awesome little neighborhood bar. Great food popups. Fun place to watch a ballgame or just unwind. Large variety of beers, both on tap and in cans / bottles. Feels like you're just hanging in your neighbor's backyard.

They always have fantastic atmosphere and things going on. They constantly partner with local chefs to do delicious pop ups. From random movie nights or elaborate evening festivals it really seems like there's always something going on at this place. It's also perfect for brunches & quaint afternoons just chilling with your friends and dogs. Highly recommend!

Over all, a decent dog friendly bar. If you are nose sensitive, there is a slightly off odor because of the astro turf and dogs.

They make great cocktails here and are always having some type of event going on, which is great for mid city and getting people out the house! The food vendors that have are usually great, too. Outdoor seating area is very communal. Laid back vibes. Clean and dog (pet) friendly

The patio set-up has new additions and is a great place to hang out. TVs are on for sports fans. Friendly owners say hello and make sure you feel welcome!! One of my favorite places to pass a good time in a relaxed atmosphere. See y'all there!!

An excellent addition to the Mid-City community. Excellent vibe, great cocktails and beer selection. Pop-up food options that can’t be beat. So glad to have this place!

A fresh and fun casual patio lounge where pets are more than welcome. There is an outstanding selection of exotic beers on tap to choose from! A great place to relax after work. It’s located, diagonally, across the street from Baton Rouge Magnet High School on Government st.

The place was packed to see a soccer game and LSU baseball (which was delayed until much later for some reason). Interesting decor. Could have used more seating or a smaller crowd. We're moving into the really hot and humid part of the year (2023 June 10) and the bar was open to the outside. Be prepared. Good selection of beers and cocktails. There was a pop-up food vendor. There are other food choices within a short walk.

Great new addition to the Baton Rouge bar scene. Very unique mid century modern backyard vibe with great cocktails surrounded by a great neighborhood.

Really awesome place to hangout! I talked with the owner for a bit on opening night and there is so much more that is in the works for this place! Great drinks and really cool atmosphere. If you ever meet the owner, ask how the name came about. It is a really cool and funny story! Music was awesome, especially if you like alternative/indie rock.

What a great addition to mid city! Very cool vibe and delicious cocktails. Friendly staff and the best antique store in town is right next door! 😉 The Mid city mai tai was quite refreshing. 🍹
