They say the pies are made fresh all day, well mine tasted like it had sitting for days. The latte was excellent, line wait was long but busy time I guess. Very sterile atmosphere for those on their laptops.

As always, I love Kookaburra Coffees. This location is quite busier than the others. It a big place for people to hang out and enjoy their ☕️ coffee.

I think I just had the best cappuccino in my life. The espresso is outstanding.

I stop in to pick up my favorite cold brew with one shot of vanilla on the days I am on my way to work. Everyone is friendly, and the coffee charges me for the day!

Delicious coffee and tasty Australian pot pies... service was great, friendly, and fast. The place was clean and had an inviting and comfortable ambiance. Bathrooms were clean. We had the corker breakfast pie and the meat pie. The daily chili sauce and some ketchup went great with both. We even got a bottle of the datil chili sauce from Kookaburra for home. Will return next time we visit St. Augustine!!!

I come to this Kookaburra Coffee on US 1 pretty much every day. My wife also comes with me to study after a day of school, while I work remotely, and work my manuscript. I have to give an honorable mention to both Jaylen and Julianna. Both employees go above and beyond for not only me and my wife but for all of their guests each and every day. They both remember me and my wife and treat us both with kindness and respect each and every day. Just the other day, a guest was entertaining her child and accidently dropped her drink all over the floor. Julianna didn't waste a second, she immediately came to her aid and started cleaning up the mess. From the 5-star service they provide, throw in the best tasting coffee in Saint Augustine, they make this Kookaburra the best one by far. If you ever have the opportunity to come visit, this is where you want your morning, midday and or afternoon beverage.

I've been going here for years. In the last few months the quality of service is taken a huge hit. All of their new hires are completely delusional. I hope this get this place cleaned up. But I don't think so. The management didn't care to hear what I had to say when I voiced this to them.

The barista was fun to engage with when we talked having our drinks in a mug . For whatever reason drinks just taste better with a mug. I had a Hot Aussie, and she made a ghost with the foam which was fantastic with Halloween around the corner.

I love Kookaburra and my coffee is always stellar. I just have to bring this up because its the second time having this same issue and somebody is either cutting corners or they are having trouble getting ingredients...whatever the case a substitution must be made! Generally when I get a true blue, which is my favorite breaky-pie it has egg, a soft, molten core of white cheese and then some yellow cheese (cheddar I presume) just under the crust. Two out of the last three times, I have ordered them, they have been missing the white cheese in the middle and they have just been solid egg with a tiny bit of cheddar 9or yellow cheese otherwise) on top. There has been no stretchy cheesy goodness. This brings me to the substitution...if you can't find the usual cheese you put in it that's all melty and stretchy, please either find a replacement ingredient, or tell us that it's really only egg and there's no cheese in there. I love your establishment, but we need some breaky-pie quality control up in here! Edited due to response...however the true blue was better before the change. I don't come there as often and don't buy pies as often when I do come, so please consider bringing back stretchy cheese noms.

My first time here and the iced honey badger is so good! It was packed in the morning but I can see why lol I highly recommend this coffee shop!!

Excellent! Kookaburra always has good service, quality gluten free pastries, and creative lattes. There are outlets to plug your laptop in; and it's a great place to get work done in the afternoon (not too busy). Love coming here for an afternoon pick-me-up.

When it comes to St. Augustine coffee shops, Kookaburra is the undisputed champion...and for good reason. The coffee is goooood! Whether it's the diesel iced aussie, the PC (my personal favorite) or the honey badger, you just can't go wrong, and their aussie pies are a nice change from typical coffee shop pastries. Service is friendly - especially at this Kookaburra. This is the only thing I can fault this chain on, since service isn't always friendly at all Kookaburras. But even with that, the coffee is still excellent. In short, a trip to St. Augustine is just not complete without a trip to Kookaburra.

Anytime I have a big day ahead of me, I grab an Aussie pie and an iced honey badger. I won't be tired or hungry until way past lunch. Flavors are always consistent and the staff is friendly, fast and knowledgeable.

Alaskan hot chocolate is the best. must try!

If you like coffee don't walk, run to the nearest Kookaburra Coffee shop. This coffee is hands down the best coffee in Saint Augustine, FL. They roast the beans to perfection so each sip is pure magic. I buy a 5lb bag of beans every 3 weeks so I can indulge in the goodness every day! #bestcoffee

I stopped by the 312 location for a quick drink after spending the day in the Historic district. The vibe was wonderful, staff were friendly, and drinks (and banana nut bread) were incredible! Absolutely LOVE that their coffee is organic. Will definitely be back!

My daughter got me hooked on their cold mocha nut. Wish they would locate where I live. Tastes better than that big chain coffee to me.

Coffee tastes WAY too strong and is the WORST flavor I've ever had. The assuie pies taste like flavored egg rubber and I've tried it 9 times! Different ones including fresh out of the oven. Workers there told me they frequently get the same complaints. Most working there are teeny boppers and are flakes, artificial and also bring in their teenage love affair drama to work.... For us listen to! I have to attend this place due to by boss choosing it! And the chairs are soooooooooooo uncomfortable and designed for a giraffe to possibly sit in. And it's ALWAYS dirty!!!; They never clean the floors. Crumbs everywhere that's been there for months! We've put special crumb colors in both bathrooms and sitting areas... It's still there! Probably if the owner had good coffee we'd never know because I don't think they clean anything! And on occasion we came in at night for coffee and some wanting a beer... No glasses. And they don't know how to pour a draft beer! And some workers are soooo rude! We over heard a few mocking us and their behaving like brats. Total teenager behavior. We're giving our business to another local place beginning Monday

The service was great! Coffees tasted good. Good location to sit and work on your laptop. The atmosphere is fine, just your basic coffee shop. Busy store as well with lots of customers going in and out, which is always a good thing!

Delicious! We got the honey badger, the rashers & eggs and the Vejjo Aussie pies with the pepper sauce on the side! We also got the cinnamon scone and banana chocolate chip muffin! Highly recommend this spot especially if you’re on a road trip! Oh and the service there was awesome! The girls are super sweet! 🫶🏼

I got the Honey Badger Latte (hot), and it was DELICIOUS!! I normally love to savor my coffee, but it was hard this time. So tasty! I also got some kind of "biscuit"- thing (which was basically an oatmeal coconut cookie). Again, delicious! Service was wonderful, atmosphere is pleasant and comfortable, AND it's locally owned and roasted and ethically sourced!! Check them out! 😄

Kookaburra has expanded at this location. More seating is available. The coffee is good, a little on the high side as far as price, but they do have almond milk, and that's a plus.

Not terribly authentic, but was a nice idea to have a classic pie option. Dough was too substantial (thick) and filling was flavored with unfamiliar spices, I think I tasted cinnamon in there...No gravy, so filling was a bit dry. Top puff pastry was flaky and spot on. Overall was decent, but not quite what I expected as an authentic aussie pie.

The mocha nut (mocha and coconut) Latte was the best we've ever had. There needs to be one in Weeki Wachee.

Drip medium roast coffee “Guatemala blend” was terrible, maybe old. I mentioned it to the young lady at the counter to which she responded “I’m so sorry”. I said to her it’s not your fault. Pies were very good.

There is no better coffee than Kookaburra!! They set the bar as the best!! Great coffee, always friendly staff and the vegan pumpkin donuts are amazing and don't taste vegan.

I love kookaburra. All the people complaining are either tourists or old people and don’t know how kookaburra works. I mean i saw a review of someone complaining because they “didn’t hear their name called.” Like how about u pay attention?? That’s on you. I mean how can you complain when they make the pies FRESH every morning? Of course they’re going to sell out. First of all because they’re amazing, but secondly because it’s not nasty frozen fast food. Every worker is always so sweet, and the drinks are all amazing. Green Goddess is my favorite drink.

The place is coay and beautiful. The service was really great, very welcoming. Our coffees however weren't that great. Got oatmilk cappuccino with vanilla and there was some weird aftertaste to the coffee. We also got Chai Tea Latte, which was good.

No matcha, and the Liquid Jade green tea was scaled and bitter. May be ok if it was brewed gentler but I won’t find out. Wasn’t worth drinking, one sip and dumped it out.

Fantastic coffeeshop in a central location. Hip vibe, gluten free bakery items, delicious coffees and teas. Great place to meet a friend or get some work done.

This is a great local coffee shop where Kooks and NonKooks are welcome! If you enjoy a good cup if Joe, then stop on in! Non locals beware, you may just leave a Kook!

I had one of their signature drinks the honey badger. You can get it either cold or hot and I got the sugar-free. Quality coffee!

We are out-of-towners who looked this place up and saw the interesting menu. We arrived at a little after 10am, unloaded the kids from the car and then waited in line to be told that they were all out of Australian pies for the day. Pretty disappointing and it delayed our journey back home by 30 minutes. So sad we didn’t get to taste the pies. Please consider putting a sign on the door or a note on the website that the food sells out fast!

I love this place with my whole heart and the coffee is so so good, but they keep it colder than a refrigerator inside so bring a jacket😭

These 3 girls were so friendly, kind & efficient. I left my purple coffee mug yesterday and they retrieved it for me. I'm so relieved, it was my favorite mug. Their positivity creates a great atmosphere and great drinks.

The coffee was very good! Aussie pies could have been a little bit fresher as they were barely warm a little bit stale? Overall great experience though, but it might be best to get the pies first thing in the morning to get the best experience

I have had a few times where when I ask "for here" and get a plastic cup. Today when I said I didn't want it he poured it in a glass mug and said here you are. The worker could not understand that I didn't want it not to be in a plastic cup at anytime during it's making process. While this is picky it's what I want and it seems that this store has the hardest time using glass. I have had this store tell me they don't use glass an hour before closing.

This is my first time here and I felt that I needed to let people know because I came to this place because of its rating. The rating is not accurate unfortunately. The skinny chick with the tattoos with the nose ring and many pimples had a pretty bad attitude. This is our first time there, we didn’t hear her call our drinks. After about 10 mins of us waiting, another customer noticed it was our drinks and said it might be there drinks, pointing at us. This girl came up and slide our drinks to us and said the name of the drinks, not even asking which drink belongs to us. The coffee drinks were mediocre at best but the experience was horrible with the customer service. I would rate this place a 3.9 overall because there was one girl with the beige sweater, who took our order, who was kind and patient with us. Thank you but not sure if I would give this place another try.

The coffee is sooo good, with latte's that come with names like Honey Badger and Mocha Nut. The freshly roasted bean is evident in every sip 😍

Awesome coffee shop! I had an iced Honey Badger Latte my husband had the hot version and my son had the Alaskan Hot Chocolate, they were delicious. For food we had a couple of the Aussie pies and vegan banana bread, really good. We will definitely be back the next time we visit St. Augustine.

My husband's Honey Badger coffee was amazing! I got a Mocha Caramel Latte... Which was also excellent. We shared a cinnamon scone. It was delicious! They use beautiful hand made mugs made by a local lady for use in the shop... Which are also for sale... So we added one to our large coffee mug collection. 😊

The Kookaburra is a local favorite of mine!! If you like sweeter coffees, I highly suggest trying an iced honey badger ✨. This location has plenty of seating space and great vibes for getting some work done or reading a book and enjoying a coffee.

I got one of the breakfast pies and a coffee. Very pricey for a lukewarm pie and not out of this world coffee. Had the pie been made fresh I'm positive it would've been fantastic. Sadly, it was not. My guess is it sat in the warmer for a very long time. The cheese and vegetables at the top were very hard. I won't be back.

Great place. Second time this week. Australian long black is my favorite (2 shots espresso plus hot water but less water than a Cafe Americano; good strong espresso flavor). The baked goods are excellent. Today a chocolate chip scone (real scone; biscuity not cakey) with Devonshire cream. Yum! Earlier this week I had the vegan muffin. Moist and delicious! Service was very friendly both visits. Nice high top and regular tables. Very nice place.

The vegan donuts are amazing! But I came here a few times to work and take some calls, and I don't think I'll be doing that anymore. It's so loud even with headphones in. The machine screeches pretty loudly and echos, and the wifi cut out multiple times I was there so it's not fit for what I'm looking for. I've also been to some of the other locations and like the layout better.
