Rude customer service. Bad wine club. Do not go.

Hearing people talk about Brassfield and actually going to the winery are two very different things; the rumors and pictures, though raving and amazing, don't come anywhere near doing it justice. It's close enough to the highway to be accessible but far enough away that you feel like you're tucked away in your own corner of the world (with the most amazing wine and people). It's not just a recommendation, it's a MUST VISIT in wine country.

The experience was really nice. Carolyn was our host and she was very informative as well as fun! She made us feel welcome and she shared some extra wines with us outside our tasting. The wine tasting room itself is done very tastefully and has some interesting history. Overall a wonderful experience.

Very pleasant and helpful employees

We went up on Saturday and enjoyed a tasting of the flight available which was delicious! We brought a pear salad sandwich which "paired" brilliantly with both Pinot grigios that they offered. Sarah was enthusiastic about the winery and made us feel

Beautiful setting in a secluded valley surrounded by vineyards. Caroline was a great hostess with a lot of information on the wines and the area. The wines were excellent, particularly the red zin.

Some of the best wine I've had! Carolyn was our wine host and she was absolutely lovely. She was very informative and elevated the experience for us. Everybody on staff that we encountered was very friendly. The scenery and estate were absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be sending people to visit and making many return trips.

Beautiful estate. Every wine was good. Cabernet Sauvignon best. But so are the whites.

Friendly staff, beautiful gardens and patio, quiet and affordable wine tasting and bottles

Gorgeous property, relaxing, sunny, full of wildlife. Their wine is really good- crisp, bright whites and reds with just the right balance of tannins. We lingered over a tasting, met a baby owl, got to know Marlana and learned about the area. Highly recommend to anyone who loves wine tasting, or anyone new to that experience! They’ll take good care of you.

What a wonderful place to sit and relax. The manager was super helpful. I wish we had found this place earlier on in our vacation, I would have gone more than once. The charcuterie board was great.

We toured wineries all through Napa Valley and Brassfield was our favorite stop of our entire trip. The wine was great but the location is breathtaking!

Wonderful wine , staff , building and countryside!

Caroline was an absolute delight! It was my first time trying wine and Caroline made me, my wife and her family feel at home, welcomed, and was very insightful on everything to do with wine. The location is a little rough to get to but, well worth it! The estate is gorgeous! Beautiful scenery, statues and I would recommend this place for weddings or photography sessions. Cell service kind of takes a dump once you get there but, you'll be too busy having fun and enjoying the experience to even care. CAROLINE WAS THE BEST!

Definitely a favourite stop when we visit the area. The grounds are stunning and the buildings are gorgeous. We love the wines and thoroughly enjoyed our picnic basket lunch on our most recent visit.

Beautiful high valley setting 2.7 miles off the highway. Likewise for the Tasting room great decor with friendly hosts, who offer a compound knowledge of wines and the unique geology of lake county (the volcanic soils make for outstanding vintages).

The wines are solid and a good variety. The grounds are beautiful and a peaceful midweek stop.

An absolutely beautiful winery. Definitely off the beaten path, but well worth the drive. The wines are amazing. The tasting room is clean and pleasant, a little bit far and confusing from the parking but beautiful, well kept grounds to appreciate on the walk. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Did I say The Wines Are Amazing! I am not a frequent wine drinker, more of a wine snob. Try Eruption. You won't be disappointed. The dessert wine is lovely as well. The whites are very nice. They offer wine parings and tours. I've been lucky enough to attend a chocolate and wine paring that was awesome.

We have been wine club members here at Brassfield Winery for several years. The grounds are stunning, the employees are amazing and the wine is some of the best you will get anywhere.

Lucky enough to spot the Brassfield Tasting Room on wheels. An elegant tour bus. After being offered a taste of some amazing wines I was sold on the quality. Will pair the earthy Cab.with wood smoked marinated venison and portabello medallions, garlic infused potatoes and steamed asparagus. Can't wait to get to the winery.

I took my Dad up here who is a wine snob from the bay area. He actually thought I was wasting his time by driving up there. He is used to the Napa valley and thought this wouldn't compare. Well when we got there his eyes popped out of his head and he couldn't believe this place existed. The wine was great, the servers were fantastic and friendly. The grounds are the best and well kept. We both joined they're wine club!

Our favorite Lake County winery! We drove in and were in awe of the amazing landscaping and beauty of this amazing vineyard. We found the tasting room and were greeted by a very enthusiastic tasting room attendant who took us on the journey of the Brassfield wine collection. We enjoyed every taste! We were lucky enough to run into one of the managers of the operations (I'm not sure if I'm right on that title...) and he took us on a little tour into the bottling rooms. We had a great time! We talked to a few of the other patrons, who happened to live in Lake County (If the locals come up there to drink the wine then it has to be good right?). We brought home more than a few bottles and are so happy that we did! Beautiful place and wonderful people.
